I have been trying to refute the APA's "findings" for years and I think that's largely in part due to organizations such as Exodus international, run by Focus on the Family, which helps gays be true to their heterosexual selves through the love of Jesus Christ.

I always say this: if there is a "gay" gene, then there is a "spousal abuse" gene, a "divorce" gene, an "adultery" gene, a "gambling" gene, a "lying" gene...and a million other sins I could list, but I won't.Into The Firehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15742771723057163765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7705675907060089073.post-91782127614189858652009-10-24T22:51:26.828-04:002009-10-24T22:51:26.828-04:00I think this is very controversial. First of all, ...I think this is very controversial. First of all, studies have shown that not everyone is strictly "gay" or "straight", just like not everyone's strictly a Democrat or a Republican. I don't know if it's exactly a choice. But the studies say that what makes us hetero or homo is which way we lean more towards. So, for example Anita Life may be 75% straight, so she would be considered heterosexual, whereas her friend may be 35% straight, making her homosexual. This study proves that it may be possible to change one's sexual orientation, but it is unlikely. We tend to stick with what we mostly relate to. A few people I know are liberal on every topic except for business related issues, which would make them a Libertarian. Yet, most of them tend to say they're a Democrat. It's the same in this case. I don't know if the study holds any truth, but I just thought I'd throw it out there.Mayhttp://lavieenmay.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
