She Is A Lot Smarter Then The Democrats Thought

Tough as nails. That’s Putin, the bear.

Palin in Kuwait and now she's on Fox. This is a smart move by Fox as she is very popular from all sides of the isle. That will make everyone watch he. It will give her a chance to hone up her knowlege of issues and to be seen by millions of views. What a smart move for both Fox and Sarah Palin. I'm sure she will give us conservatives a voice in the media. And that voice will be heard by both sides. One thing I will say is if I was a liberal I'd be very afraid right now. Because weather you like it or not she is a powerful conservative with millions of American voters behind her. If you aren't for Sarah Palin then it is because you are a sexist. Plain and simple. Ask any women if Sarah Palin and Hilary Clinton were treated in a sexist way by the left wing sexist pigs. I wish her all the best and I hope the time with Fox makes her a better politician. I would love nothing more then to have the first women president.
Check out this example:

  1. Chris, you must have missed the Steve Schmidt interview on 60 Minutes. She didn't even know why there were two Koreas.

This woman is as dumb as a rock and has been able to use her 15 minutes to make a new career, a commentator on Fox News. Steve Schmidt admitted she has a problem telling the truth, therefore Fox News is the perfect place for her.

  3. It was a very smart move for FOX. People either love her, or hate her, either way they're going to watch her. FOX news is already rated #1 in cable news, this will only boost ratings significantly.

Speaking of truth, FOX seems to be the only place to get "truthful" news, so yes; it is the perfect place for Palin.

By the way, I watched 60 minutes and Palin is 1,000 times better than the clowns running the White House.

Opps... sorry for the double post.

  4. Hey Bruce Nobama thought there was 57 STATES! Does Not Sound like a Rhodes Scholor to ME!

Libs I KNOW PALIN is on whats left to the LIBS Minds and NO Matter what You Say,What you Do SHE Aint Going away BRUCE sorta Like YOU!

Now let Me get this Straight,Guy says PALIN has PROBLEM Telling the Truth. #1 SO DO YOU! #2 Facts,What did she Alledgedly LIE about?

  5. Bruce you are just being sexist. Look at all the stupid stuff Biden and Obama have said and done and you all say nothing. In fact you fools have been silent on the last three posts. But when you see a women that is stronger then most men you distroy her with all the ferver of a Nazi. She is only 47 yrs old and now she can hone her skills. Now go back to making fun of "dark skinned black" and the way they "talk".

    ReplyDelete
  6. Al, watch the interview. He mentions she lied about the outcome of the ethics investigation in Alaska completely exonerating her. LIE!

The fact that she is a stupid liar is coming from McCain's campaign manager, not a liberal. I would think that would have credibility, even with you, Al.

Numerous statements during the campaign were LIES!

No, she isn't going away, but she's uniquely not qualified to be President of the United States.

I do hope she's the Republican nominee though.

    ReplyDelete
  7. You said it Liz. The Democrats had the nerve to make fun of her age and lack of experiance when she is the same age as Obama with a little more experience then him. They did the same thing to H.Clinton so they must have a big problem with dark skinned blacks and women. Isn't that what they concluded with us conservative 'racists'? Their choice of words tell us a lot about them.

  8. Chris, apparently 69 million American disagree with you and found Barack Obama well qualified to be President of the United States.

Sarah Palin went to how many universities. I suggest you re-watch the Katie Couric interview. This suggestion that she is not qualified and is a liar of epoch proportions is coming from inside the GOP, not from liberals.

I suggest your train your fire on them.

  9. Bruce What Ethics Charges were Brought and WHAT was the Outcome? McCain Campaign Manager with Bridges to BURN! Mc CAIN was not MY choice,he is a MODERATE Republican or in other WORDS a Democrat!

  10. Talk about a win-win situation. Fox News has signed Sarah Palin as a contributor. There probably isn’t a media outlet in America who would not want to have Sarah Palin on one of their shows and that includes the likes of MSNBC.

Palin will be a major ratings booster for Fox. Even as Fox totally destroys the competition, Palin’s presence is sure to draw even more viewers. Does anyone not think that lefties and Palin Haters won’t tune in to see if she stumbles or to fact check what she says?

For Palin, this is a new platform for her to speak directly to the American people. I have often said, that while Facebook has proven to be winner for her, video is truly Palin’s medium. Lets be honest, the woman is a looker, add to the fact that she know how to work the camera. While many Palin Haters will immediately think of Palin’s Couric interview, there is tons of footage of Palin shining on camera.

Over at Hot Air, Ed Morrissey sees Palin signing a multi year contract as a sure sign she will not run in 2012, I disagree. All these contracts have escape clauses. If Palin runs in 2012, she could step out of her contract for the campaign and return if unsuccessful. Fox would be fools not to grant Palin such flexibility. Palin has proven herself to be ratings gold and in the event she lost a 2012 bid, Fox would be first in line for any post election interview and certainly would have an in if she wins.

I for one and anxious to see what Palin brings to Fox. I am interested to see just what this series she is suppose to be hosting is all about.

  11. Bruce those 69 million people have been changing their mind faster then with any other president in history. Just look at Obama's lowest approval rating of any presidents first year in office. They thought he was qualified but now they know Obama isn't. See the difference Bruce. I put in a great video for you to watch and enjoy. If you would like you could compair it with Biden the buffoons interviews and gaffs.

"Al, dream on. Now that the economy is starting to turn around and GM is on the way back, people will see that Obama did some of the right things." Bruce said "some of the right things". That is funny. He didn't do many just "some". Even Bruce knows Obama/Biden are not all that good. And Bruce had his face in Obama's backend during the election. Now that is very telling of what the Democrats think of their pick for President and VP.

  16. I swore I was going to keep my mouth shut on this, but I keep getting emails from people along the lines of “if you don’t say it, who will?”

Yeah, I guess I have become that guy.

I am afraid Sarah Palin is going to harm herself unintentionally over this tea party convention in Nashville.

Full disclosure: I have asked several of the tea party organizations that, early on, I was supportive of to stop using my name and RedState’s logo. I think the tea party movement has largely descended into ego and quest for purpose for individuals at the expense of what the tea party movement started out to be.

That’s not to say it is in every case. I have much good to say about groups like Tea Party Patriots, but I think this national tea party convention smells scammy.

Let me be blunt: charging people $500.00 plus the costs of travel and lodging to go to a “National Tea Party Convention” run by a for profit group no one has ever heard of sounds as credible as an email from Nigeria promising me a million bucks if I fork over my bank account number.

I am led to believe a number of the sponsors who lent their names early on have grown wary of the event. That lines up with what I am hearing.

The tea party movement was always about the unorganized masses of concerned, passionate Americans uniting together with a common voice to protest the direction of the country. From that passion, others have sought to make money off the tea party movement. Some have done it for good. Many have not. And more and more we are seeing some people rise up to claim the mantle of “leader” of the tea party movement. Many of us who have been around for a while just want to know who the heck these so called leaders are.

The tea party “leaders”, if there are any, are actively at work in their home towns changing things one letter to the editor, one contribution to a candidate, and one protest at a time. They are not on bus tours profiting off the hard work and sometimes the names of others (some also on the bus with no pay) headed to Nashville licking their lips at the $500.00 per person payments coming in to their for profit company.

Sarah Palin is certainly giving the National Tea Party Convention legitimacy. But at what cost? I am fearful this thing will blow up and harm her. I am more fearful that a bunch of well meaning people from across the nation are going to show up, expect more, and then grow disaffected or burn out when the deliverables they expect do not come in.

I hope I am wrong about all of this. I could be. But something tells me I am right. And because no one else will say it, I will — I think Sarah Palin got some bad advice and probably should have done more due diligence. Your mileage may vary.

  17. Chris, if you think that's a knowledgable, competent woman that is capable of being President of the United States, you are insane.

As Steve Schmidt, McCain's campaign manager said, she has a problem with the truth and had to have history lessons and had to be told why there were two Koreas.

These are mainstream Republicans that are admitting that Palin is not even close to being qualified to be President.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Chris, if you aren't for Sarah palin than your sexist? Thats your argument? We have to be sexist if you don't find her politically viable? There can be no other reason?

I don't find here to be a capable choice for president and i don't care what sex she is. I thought she was a lousy choice for VP candidate and will be a lousy choice for potential 2012 candidate. Clearly the right in its hysteria for someone to scream lies at them has chosen to ignore the more thoughtful, capable candidates for sexyness.

I can enlighten you to the reality of the political postition most of the righties at work took on her running. It invovled two positions, horizontal and 69. I'm not kidding or being silly. Any discussion of Palin on the ticket went south in seconds. We didn't discuss her qualifications, her college degree, her religious beliefs, the family situation, her husbands politics, her past platforms. Nope, it came down to fucking, or getting a blowjob. Any point i raised was brushed away by those types of comments.

And somehow you dare to think i of others are sexist because we find legitimate reasons to have discourse about her? Its a shame that you as a rightie are stuck on this silly path.

"Chris, if you think that's a knowledgable, competent WOMAN that is capable of being President of the United States, you are insane." And Bruce you are a sexist bigot. ReplyDelete
  22. JoeC do you remember if the rants and race cards being played by the left? If you don't vote for Obama then you are a racist and if you call him by his middle name then you are a "bigot". Joe if you say you aren't sexist I believe you. But I have also pointed out that Bruce is sexist. Maybe those men didn't want to listen to your political rants and they knew if they talked about sex with a beautiful women you would get sick and leave. It's the oldest trick in The Conservative Book On Shuting Up Liberals. If you talk about gay sex the liberals come running. Try it out at your UAW local. And by the way the Democrats I know were also talking about hot sexy she is. And if you didn't already know it most men are pigs and willbe more then happy to tell you of their pig thoughts. So all in all Joe I'd just like to say please don't take that post personaly unless you have a guilty conscience. But I can't see you have a guilty conscience so thank you for pointing that out for me and the other readers. I know I can expect you to do the same when you read the left wing doing that same Saul Lawinski tactic we have come to expect from the left.

  23. Pray tell MEN. What are all these lies she has told? Would you like to hear all the lies Obama and Biden have told? Or is all that old news for "ya"? Are you two going to protest the unions having to pay for the health care reform they want? A tax on the middle class is a lie isn't it? It make the unions look like liars about wanting health care reform if they bawk at paying for it. Or it just makes them look like theives for wanting something and not paying for it. Which is it MEN? You are both union member or at least where?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Bruce if a Republican always brought up the fact that Obama is a black man would you call that racism? As I remember you called us all racist from the get go. In fact you're still doing it. You also call into question her "competence, intelligence and the fact that she lies about everything bothers me a lot." But you always point to her being a woman no different then if I point out the fact that Barack Hussein Obamas full name is Muslim. The big difference is many Muslims have called for a jihad war on us. What have women done to you?lol

Or I could post a list of Obummer's lies, and many of those are WHOPPERS. Fer instance, broadcasting the health care debate on C-SPAN ... mmmm mmmm mmmm

Hypocrats wouldn't know the truth if it kicked them in the face.

By the way, have we decided if it's cool to use the word Negro yet? Or is it only acceptable for old white Hypocrats? Now there IS a Negro College Fund ... but then I do remember Negroes getting upset about the word Negro being on the 2010 census form. I'm confused.

  28. John -

It is acceptable to use the word "Negro" if you are a light-skinned black man and use the word using a "negro dialect". Or if you are a rich white "Hypocrat" as you say.

I personally never had a problem with the word "negro". It actually means black, and is much closer to describing me, if you must, then "african american", as I am not from Africa, at least not for several generations removed.

However I do resent Mr. Reid indicating that there is a "negro dialect", or that the color of my skin, whether lighter or darker, makes it easier or more difficult for a Democrat to vote for me. What a racist party they are.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I also remember a lot of women and men saying they would like to have sex with Obama. Look at all the blogs that said that. All Joe has proven is we are all sexual beings and Bruce hates women.

Here's another classic from that idiot Taxxachusetts brain-child. Remember when they got all over Quayle for not spelling potato correctly?!?! Well at least he didn't mis-spell the STATE he was from! BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA ... typical Hypocrats! Where did they FIND this idiot!??!

    http://hotair.com/archives/2010/01/12/coakley-misspells-name-of-state-she-wants-to-represent/

On the heels of last night’s final debate between Martha Coakley, Scott Brown and Joseph L. Kennedy, Coakley released a new ad attacking Scott Brown — an aggressive turn that many observers have thought was long overdue.

However the ad’s message might get lost by a spelling gaffe that appears in the ad’s closing seconds. In the fine print appearing at the bottom of the screen, the ad reads:

Paid for by Massachusettes Democratic Party and Authorized by Martha Coakley for Senate. Approved by Martha Coakley.

Close observers will notice that there is an extra ‘E’ tacked onto the end of ‘Massachusetts. It’s a trivial oversight, for sure, but you can bet that the jokes and jabs the typo will inspire will blunt at least some of the impact of the ad.

    ReplyDelete
  31. What do you think Herry Reid meant with his "negro" comment? And why hasn't anyone asked him?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well obviously to me Chris, Reid meant that it was a good thing that Obummer was a "light-skinned" negro, or the Hypocrats would not be able to stomach voting for him. Just think, two shades darker and we might have had President Hillary Clinton or even President McCain!

Also Reid was indicating that it was a good thing Obummer can turn the negro dialect (whatever THAT is) on (for the "negros") and off (for the white Hypocrats) at will, so he would be able to make all those idiots think he was one of them. Remember when he (Obummer) said that you have to get Aunt Pookie and Cousin Ray-ray off the couch?!?! ROFLMAO ... That's NEGRO dialect! Here, check it Chris-Chris:

    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=8958554

"You have to get your Aunt Pookie out to vote, and your Cousin Ray-Ray sitting on the couch," Obama told a Michigan crowd in October 2008.

Nine months earlier, he had told a South Carolina audience: "I need you to grab Cousin Pookie to vote; I need you to grab Ray-Ray to vote."

Two things about Pookie are consistent: Obama mentions her (or him) when urging largely black audiences to get out to vote; and the crowds roar in delight.

    Just who is Pookie?

Obama has never explained. Earlier this year, Newhouse News Service interviewed authorities on black culture who generally agreed that Pookie represents a slightly disreputable but likable relative. As Duke University professor Mark Anthony Neal put it, Pookie is a "metaphor for kin ... who everybody knows is just a little trifling and a little lazy."

When Obama campaigns Sunday for New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine's re-election bid, maybe he can answer a pressing question: What happened to Ray-Ray?

How else could you take it?! This Obummer's white half is racist as hell! BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA

  37. BWAAAAHAHAHAHA ... I just looked at the very first link you provided FAILk, and here are a couple of examples of the "lies" told by Sarah Palin:

Palin said “it was John McCain who pushed so hard with the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac reform measures,” but fact checkers say that’s “Quite A Stretch” And “Barely True,” and that McCain was a “latecomer” to the discussion.

Palin referred to the US commander in Afghanistan, David McKiernan as “McClellan.”

Palin said “Obama had said that all we're doing in Afghanistan is air raiding villages and killing civilians and such a reckless, reckless comment and untrue comment again hurts our cause. That's not what we are doing there.” Unfortunately, the Associated Press says that Obama was right in discussing a critically important point about avoiding civilian casualties.

Palin said we need to make sure “that education in either one of our agendas, I think, absolute top of the line,” when McCain has repeatedly favored tax cuts for the wealthy over funds for more teachers and class size reduction.

These aren't lies, these are merely differences that the blogger has with Palin! BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA ... another BRILLIANT EPIC FAIL that I could not INVENT in my wildest dreams! It takes the incredible STUPIDITY OF BRUCE FAILk to come up with something like this!!!

  42. From Rolling Stone

THE MYTH: "She took the luxury jet that was acquired by her predecessor and sold it on eBay. And made a profit!" — John McCain, at a campaign stop in Wisconsin

THE FACTS: No one bought the jet online. It was eventually sold through an aircraft broker — at a loss to taxpayers of nearly $600,000.

THE MYTH: "I told the Congress 'Thanks, but no thanks' on that Bridge to Nowhere." — Sarah Palin, convention speech

THE FACTS: Supported the infamous pork project in her 2006 run for governor, even after Congress had killed the bridge; derided its opponents as "spinmeisters." Reversed her stance a year later — but kept the money, doling out the $223 million in federal funds to other pork projects throughout the state.

THE MYTH: "We ... championed reform to end the abuses of earmark spending by Congress." — Sarah Palin, convention speech

THE FACTS: As mayor, employed a lobbyist who also worked for Jack Abramoff to secure $27 million in pork spending for Wasilla — more than $4,000 per resident. In her two years as governor, requested $453 million in earmarks. Alaska ranks first in the nation for pork, raking in seven times the national average.

THE MYTH: "I found ... someone who stopped government from wasting taxpayers' money." — John McCain, introducing Palin

THE FACTS: Signature accomplishment as mayor: building a $15 million hockey arena that plunged the city into debt. Broke ground on the project without finalizing the city's purchase of the land; the resulting fiasco cost Wasilla $1.3 million — roughly $200 per resident.

THE MYTH: "Our opponents say, again and again, that drilling will not solve all of America's energy problems — as if we didn't know that already." — Sarah Palin, convention speech

THE FACTS: "I beg to disagree with any candidate who would say we can't drill our way out of our problem." — Sarah Palin, July 2008

THE MYTH: "We began a nearly $40 billion natural-gas pipeline to help lead America to energy independence." — Sarah Palin, convention speech

THE FACTS: With federal approval years away, not a single section of the pipeline has been laid. State could end up paying the pipeline's contractor $500 million — even if it never breaks ground on the project.

THE MYTH: "She's from a small town with small-town values." — Fred Thompson, convention speech

THE FACTS: Wasilla and the surrounding valley recently named the meth capital of Alaska, with 42 meth labs busted in a single year.

THE MYTH: "She's from a small town with small-town values." — Fred Thompson, convention speech

THE FACTS: Wasilla and the surrounding valley recently named the meth capital of Alaska, with 42 meth labs busted in a single year.

THE MYTH: "She's fought oil companies." — John McCain, introducing Palin

THE FACTS: Collected $13,000 in campaign contributions from oil and gas lobbyists, including Exxon, BP, Shell and Chevron. BP was a sponsor of her inaugural ball.

THE MYTH: "She's been to Kuwait. She's been over there. She has been with her troops. The National Guard that she commands, who have been over there and had the experience." — John McCain, highlighting Palin's national-security credentials

THE FACTS: Never had a passport before 2007, when she made a brief photo-op trip to visit troops in Germany and Kuwait. Has never been to Iraq, and has not met a single foreign head of state.

THE MYTH: "I have protected the taxpayers by vetoing wasteful spending." — Sarah Palin, convention speech

THE FACTS: As governor, sought travel reimbursement for 312 nights she spent in her own home.

Plug in cars won’t pay off for consumers for 15 years
JANUARY 12, 2010 BY ED MORRISSEY
    http://hotair.com/archives/2010/01/12/plug-in-cars-wont-pay-off-for-consumers-for-15-years/

The Obama administration wants to push plug-in electric cars as a means of saving energy, even while it contemplates burdening electricity producers with heavy penalties for using coal and other fossil fuels. That would increase the cost of driving, but even without that kind of price pressure on energy, plug-in cars would be a bad bet for consumers. The extra costs of the batteries alone will take 15 years to pay off from any savings on gasoline, according to the Detroit News:

As automakers aggressively pursue electric vehicles, a study released today shows the cost targets behind the plans are unlikely to be achieved, making it hard for consumers to recoup the extra cost of buying electric.

The study by Boston Consulting Group, released at an Automotive Press Association event in Detroit today, concludes the cost of electric vehicles is unlikely to drop to the $250 per kilowatt/hour threshold that is cited by many carmakers for these vehicles to be competitive in price. That benchmark is not possible without a major breakthrough in battery technology, and no such breakthrough is on the horizon, said Xavier Mosquet, the Detroit-based leader of BCG’s automotive group.

As a result, the payback time for an all-electric vehicle in the U.S. is about 15 years, and for an extended-range vehicle such as the Chevrolet Volt it would be 19 years, the study finds.

    Obama's Unprecedented Success Rate

    http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=122436116

Obama has been no different from his predecessors in that he's always ready to send a firm message to the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue as he "urges members of Congress" to come together and act. All presidents demand specific action by Congress — or at least they ask for it. But when you look at the votes of 2009 in which Obama made his preference clear, his success rate was unprecedented, according to John Cranford of Congressional Quarterly.

"His success was 96.7 percent on all the votes where we said he had a clear position in both the House and the Senate. That's an extraordinary number," Cranford says.

The previous high scores were held by Lyndon Johnson in 1965, with 93 percent, and Dwight Eisenhower, who scored 89 percent in 1953. Cranford notes that George W. Bush's score hit the high 80s in 2001, the year of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. But Obama surpassed them all, Cranford says.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Why is Obamas approval rating the lowest of any presidents first year? Bruce said "His success was 96.7 percent on all the votes where we said he had a clear possition in both the House and the Senate. That's an extraordinary number," Cranford says." The Key part of that sentence is "clear position". If I remember correctly he almost never had a "clear possition". He voted present on almost everything that was iffy. You libs think your good a wordsmithiung but we know what you mean now. You libs are so full of crap no wonder why everyone hate liberals.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Yep. I guess you can have success like that when you control both houses of Congress, no doubt about it. The problem here FAILk is that now the Hypocrats OWN their stinky legislation. Their pathetic ultra-liberal laws will chase moderates and conservatives away.

Here's some other reasons, but first let me say that Hitler was very successful at exterminating Jews and homosexuals. Not exactly something to be proud of, being successful at some things there FAILk. Anyway, on to WHY he was successful, which surprisingly (NOT) FAILk left out. Talk about cherry-picking, he's the king of it that FAILk!! BWAAAAHAHAHAHA

    From the SAME article:

A major reason for Obama's record high score this year: Democrats took away a significant number of seats from Republicans in the 2006 and 2008 elections, resulting in big majorities in the House and Senate for the president's party.

Sarah Binder, a congressional analyst at the Brookings Institution, says there's another key reason he scored so well. She says he only took an official position on issues that were really important to him — those that he knew he had a very good chance of winning. He picked his battles carefully.

But another contributing factor here may prove more controversial for the president and his party. That's his willingness to negotiate and to compromise. For example, as much as the president said he wanted a public option as part of a health care bill, the final legislation won't have one.

    BWAAAAHAHAHAHA ... idiot BRUCETARD!!

15 YEARS to pay that POS Prius off BRUCE! And your paying for electricity generated by sooty, dirty, polluting COAL!!! BWAAAAAHAHAHAHA

    ReplyDelete
  55. And hey BRUCETARD, you didn't even answer Al's question. Here, let me repeat it for you since you find it so difficult to follow along with people's points:

Al said "Now I want YOU the Lib to PUT into WORDS What Senator NOBAMA Did in his EXTENSIVE Career in Congress. I Know he MUST Have AMASSED alot of BILLS that He Sponsered/Authored.

Show Me ONE INSTANCE where Sen Nobama CRASP a Issue by the HORNS and what ACTION HE Took!"

I'm pretty sure (because I can read and comprehend the English language) that Al was talking about Obummer's SENATORIAL career.

    On with it FAILk.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Here's more about why Obummer's "success" rate was high. I'll give you a hint, it isn't because he tried to work with the other side:

    Biggest Party Divide Ever

Every year, Congressional Quarterly measures the percentage of partisan votes taken in the House and Senate. A roll call vote is considered partisan if a majority of Democrats votes against a majority of Republicans. It has hovered around a relatively high 50% in the House for the past two decades and stayed there this year, at 51%. But in the Senate, it was a whopping 72% - the highest percentage of partisan votes ever tallied in that chamber.

    House And Senate Party Unity

Moreover, when the House and Senate took partisan votes, Democrats voted in droves with other Democrats, as did Republicans. Congressional Quarterly measures "party support" as the percentage of the time that lawmakers, on average, vote in agreement with a majority of their party on a partisan vote. In 2009 in the Senate, Democrats stuck together for an average party support score of 91% — the highest ever. The House Democrats' score was the same — 91% — just below the all-time high of 92% set in 2007 and 2008 (hmmmm ... during Bush's years). Republican Party support was also high, though not record-breaking: 85% in the Senate and 87% in the House.

"I've been here for three decades," said David Dreier (R-CA), a top House Republican. "In this Congress, I will tell you, we've been completely shut out.”

In 2009, Republicans had little chance to offer their alternatives to Democrats' legislation. In the House, the majority tightly controlled debate. In the Senate, Democrats held together and blocked filibusters.

Dreier said if Democrats want bipartisanship, they could broaden their agenda and allow more participation from Republicans.

It is obvious what she is about and i can't find a way to reconcile how you guys can find her to be anything more than a talking head. You must have slipped and fallen on your collective heads. Do you understand what she is about and the reality of her platforms and work in Alaska?

If i were to look at her from a conservative, lutheran viewpoint (how i grew up)i couldn't vote for her over such candidates as Pawlenty or Jindal. There's no way i could look at them and their background and then find her to be anything but a joke. Its fucking sad.

  61. JoeC and Bruce Now you know how most people feel about Barack Hussein Obama. The kicker is Sarah Palin has an approval rating higher then President Obama. How could that be? I thought everyone was going to go gaga over Obama and the liberal agenda? Only 1/3 of Americans want this Health Care Reform Bill and you two think things are going good for the Democrats?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Fellow Conservative,

Most Americans have now heard about Senate Majority Leader Reid's outrageous, racially charged comments about Barack Obama. What most American's don't know is that this is the kind of behavior we have come to expect from him. Liberals in Washington have overlooked, covered for, and glossed over Harry Reid's behavior because they need his power for their radical, left-wing agenda.

The double standard that liberals so often apply is taken to new heights for their leader. Besides the latest racial comments about President Obama, Reid compared opponents of his government take-over of health care to supporters of slavery, called tea party activists "evil-mongers," and even said taxpayers visiting the U.S. Capitol "smell." In 2007, with our soldiers and troops in harms way, Harry Reid said the surge in Iraq would "fail" and that the war was "lost."

Harry Reid doesn't respect the American people. His words but more importantly his actions prove it. It is time to kick Harry Reid out of the Senate. Please follow this link to join our campaign to kick Harry Reid out of the U.S. Senate!

If Harry Reid respected the American people he would allow the C-Span cameras in to let us see the strong-arming, bribing, and deal-making necessary to force passage of his government take-over of health care. If Harry Reid respected the American people he would actually hold town hall meetings to hear from taxpayers and answer our questions. If Harry Reid respected America's taxpayers he would apologize to every one of us who has attended a tea party rally or town hall meeting for calling us "evil-mongers."

We know Harry Reid won't do any of those things though. For him, the power he covets so much isn't derived from the American people, it's derived from the liberal special-interests that helped make him the Democrat's Senate Majority Leader. Despite Reid's entrenched liberal Washington allies, we can and will kick him out of the U.S. Senate.

I am running to not only beat Harry Reid but to be a conservative voice in the U.S. Senate. As conservatives we all agree on the importance of individual liberty and free markets, fiscal responsibility and less government, the sanctity of life, the rule of law and a strong national defense. If I am fortunate enough to be elected, I will be a strong voice for these conservative principles in the U.S. Senate.

Will you join me in kicking Harry Reid out of the Senate by making your contribution of $50, $100, $250, $500 or more today?

Harry Reid knows I'm the proven conservative who can kick him out of the Senate. He'll lose the power he covets and his ability to do any more damage to America's taxpayers. I'm the proven conservative who beats him by ten percentage points and according to a recent poll from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, I'm the only conservative who would beat him with 50% or more of the vote!

But this campaign is not just about Harry Reid, it is about electing a common sense, conservative advocate to the U.S. Senate. While a number of Republicans have announced their intentions to run in the 2010 Republican primary, it is critically important that our eventual nominee have a strong record in fighting for conservative values and the ability to actually win in November.

I am ready for this fight because I have been in tough fights before. I ran against the State Senate Majority Leader in my home state. Despite his powerful position, I outworked him and beat him, switching the State Senate control from the Democrats to the Republicans by just one vote.

After running on my conservative principles, I was immediately voted into Senate leadership by my Republican colleagues as Senate Majority Whip and Chairman of the Senate Taxation Committee.

  63. Chris, Sarah Palin isn't President of the United States. Thank god for that.

Governing is a lot harder than campaigning. If she were actually governing, her stunning lack of ability would be glaring.

She is a quitter of monumental proportions and I don't want her anywhere near the White House.

That said, I do want her to be the Republican nominee for President.

  64. Joey, why are you so obsessed with me!?!? I never said anything about you being scared of Palin ... go ahead and show me where I said or even insinuated that. And stop obsessing over me, you would think that I was really getting to you or something. But we know you are so mentally powerful that can't be the case. Unless you were drinking again or something ... which WOULD explain the sudden rash of swearing ...

  68. AL you said it. That is what the libers are afraid of. She will do a lot of dammage to the left while building up the right. It will bring a lot of left wingers to Fox. And if they keep hearing the truth it will sink in. The left is unraveling enough without Palin doing anything. Now that she is in the picture it will give another Christian conservative view on issues. If Fox was smart they would get Maddow or Olbermann for a comidy hour of liberal rants. That would surly put the compatition to rest quickly. Bruce how is that Beck protest thing working for ya? Beck is loving the fact that the liberals hate him so much. Like AL said it's at the point now where people are going against the liberal just because it's "liberal". Liberal and Progressive are becoming dirty words to most Americans. When 79% of American say they are NOT liberal it says a lot about what people really think about the liberal idealogy and all the gross things they like to do.But thats another post for another day.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Joey, I don't care if you "addresses" me about something I write. My point was that you are insinuating that I said you were afraid of Palin or something. That's not splitting hairs. And I'm MOST DEFINITELY not your "brother".

When you just lump everyone together it shows either how ignorant you are, in that you can't comprehend what you read, or how lazy you are to not read and understand who is saying what.

My fascination with you is how you are always attacking me for things I don't say. Fascinating how you LIEberals work.

Should I no longer "addresses" you Joey? Should I not respond to what you write? Don't be afraid of a little knowledge Joey. I don't have any problem with you responding to what I write, I do have a problem with you LIEberals putting words in my mouth.

And exactly what defense did I run out of Joey? Is this some phantom attack that you made in your little mind or something? LOL ... you ARE endlessly entertaining in your Down's Syndrome way. BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHA

    ReplyDelete
  70. John, i didn't attack you. Its funny how little discussions become attacks to you, yet you consistently and constatntly use derogatory terms for anyone who doesn't agree with you. Nobody is putting words into your mouth, certainly not me. I addressed a few people including you.

As for the brother thing, is it so bad that i call you that? I consider everyone my brother, including righties. Unlike some people here i wish only the best for you. Blame my bleeding liberal heart if you must.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Wow Joey. You could just apologize for including me in a response to something that I clearly didn't say. Sure it would admit that you can't get me out of your mind and you're obsessed with me, but you would at least be admitting that you were wrong in your response.

But instead you forge ahead with your idiocy. What a dumbass you are, and this is just more proof. Why can't you just admit when you are clearly wrong Joey? You've got real issues.

And yes, it is bad that you call me "brother" you shithead. I'm not your brother, and I don't really care if you wish the best for me or not. If you aren't religious, which by your own admission you aren't, then in no way am I your "brother". If you WERE my brother I sure wouldn't acknowledge that I was related to such a dirtbag. Because my "brother" sure wouldn't say things like you say Joey. Or do you forget that you call your "brothers" "tea baggers" and "ball washers" and "f-ing stupid" and too many more to list here. And before you go crying about how I supposedly claim I am perfect and don't hurl insults, save us the pity party because I never claimed any such thing.

It IS funny how little discussions get turned around by you Joey! Quite funny how you LIEberals change the subject and try to deflect. As I recall Joey, Al had some questions for you that you conveniently try to ignore and avoid. All you dipshit LIEberals know how to do is attack, deflect, strawman, and then cry about the response.

Here's a conservative take on her lies...

    ReplyDelete
  74. Al, i think of campaign promises as different for a few reasons. One all of them make promises they can't, won't, shouldn't, couldn't, wouldn't keep. That doesn't make them lies. Are they broken promises, yes, but all of them do that. Your side, my side, everyone.

Telling outright deceptions is a much more serious crime, especially when the record clearly shows that its not true.

Did you hound Bush for his broken campaign promises, or does it only matter when a dem does it? Seems to me that your okay with your side lying and breaking campaign promises, but dislike when Obama makes and then brakes them.

    ReplyDelete
  75. JoeC I was Not HAPPY with Much that Bush did BUT I have realized that he is NOT the President NOW! I am STILL working on YOUR Opinion that NOT keeping a Promise was NOT a LIE! I think You JUST gave a Perfect Example of the Difference between A Lib and the REST of the COUNTRY! Either a Statement is a LIE or it is the TRUTH with NO wiggle ROOM!

    ReplyDelete
  76. A lie is a lie Joey. Do you discriminate between lies told by your kid(s)? I hope to hell you don't. I'm sure you don't. Not even you would do that.

Who is okay with their "side" breaking campaign promises? Where do you come up with this? Do you really think that's the case? Now, there are extenuating circumstances. For instance W was supposed to concentrate on domestic affairs, but 9/11 put that on the back-burner. And really, maybe it was better for the country that he concentrated on that than more programs like no child left behind or that Medicare thing that people are always in arms about.

Now the video where Nancy Pelousy states that it is going to be the most open, transparent and honest Congress ever, she had already been elected. So that was a big fat lie, not a campaign schtick.

Absolutely, ALL politicians must be held accountable for their promises, broken or kept. I'm pretty sure you would agree with me on that. I hope you would.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Al once again the typical rightwing answer is anything said and not upheld is a lie, which its not.

Did he make a false statement? No. He made a promise, one that he broke. Its a broken promise not a lie. You would have to ASSUME that he never intended to live up to his promise to suggest that its a deception. I don't assume those things.

If my child makes a promise and later breaks it, i don't ASS-ume he's a liar, but that he intended to keep that promise but did not.

Clearly there is a difference between saying what you intend to do and what you already have done when it comes to deception. We can look at the latter and realise instantly that you intended to deceive us, like Sarah Palin did about many things, but the former we may never really know if you intended to deceive us or that down the line you did not do what you said.

And just like with Bush and other candidates, there can be explanations and attempts at spin to explain the broken promise.

    ReplyDelete
  78. What if he never intended to do the promise Joe? What if the promise was only used to get your vote? What would you call that? So either Obama is ignorent or a liar. Thats splitting hairs as far as I'm conserned. But I'll give you it. Obama is ignorent just like McCain said. It looks like you guys got John McCain not the guy you voted for.lol

    ReplyDelete
  79. Joe what do you call a person that breaks their promises?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Hypocrats and LIEberals Chris. That's what I call a person that breaks their promises. I know you didn't ask me but I thought I would respond.

It's interesting that to a lieberal, a broken promise is just a run-of-the-mill, almost expected thing. So I guess a promise from a lieberal is a useless thing, since they never intend to follow up on it?

Used to be a man's (or woman's) word, their promise, was their bond. I guess that only applies to conservatives now.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Chris, if Obama never intended to honor that promise then he did in fact lie. I can not however prove that he did, so therefore i must place it as solely a broken promise.

As for calling him ignorant, i could call your side and their candidates to because they broke their campaign promises too. I call it poltics and expect both sides to not be able to keep their promises. Nothing partisan there.

John, funny you feel that way, because plenty of your elected officials have broken their promises. So i call them decepticons. your constantly so one sided it is hard to think that your serious. I wonder if your this vehemently hypocritical or just playing the partisan devils advocate. Lately i have swung to thinking your just another vehemently partisan hypocrite.

Don't worry you can still be my brother though.
