The Network Idiot And The Idiot Network Are On Their Way Out

Stuart Schwartz writing for American Thinker has a must read article called “The Fat Lady Sings For Keith Olbermann”.  Schwartz is merciless in his telling of how and why Keith Olbermann (and MSNBC too) on their way out the door.
Here is a sample of what Schwartz delivers to Olbermann:
"It ain't over until the fat lady sings."
The fat lady is doing more than singing for Keith Olbermann. And, like most of the other women in the life of MS-NBC's premiere leftist sexist, she's not interested in dating him. Rather, she merely wishes to see his well-padded bottom fade into the distance.
In sports broadcasting, where Olbermann worked for twenty years, the phrase -- picked up from opera -- signifies the end of the game, the last minutes when hope of revival is past and fans head for the exits. The viewers of "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" have been heading for the exits for the past year as part of a general exodus from MS-NBC. Photobucket

  1. What is that creamy white pustular discharge that comes from the corners of Olbermanns mouth? Maybe that is why people aren't watching. I'm sure the left will think of some off the wall reason why Olbermann sucks. It looks like the toilet of life is flushing and the turds are going down the drain where they belong. Protest that my liberal friends.

  4. I don't watch Olbermann but I hear he is one of the best. I was at the protest for the Beck and O'Riely movie in Flint. We had over 20 people show up for the protest. It put some fear in the teabaggers eyes that's for sure. This old white couple ran away when they seen us there. Did anyone else protest the Beck O'Riely movies in their towns?

  5. More angry white Hypocrats. That's these regressives' problem, they're all ANGRY. They don't know why, they just know they are, and they will be ANGRY until the DailyKos or MoveOn tells them why! BWAAAAHAHAHAHA

Look at us conservatives, laughing away at the stupidity of these Hypocrats. We know their days are numbered, and they are too stupid to do too much damage to our resilient country. We will be back in power, and set things right, and they will still be ANGRY and filled with RAGE! ROFLMAO

How pathetic you regressive lieberals are!

  6. Here is FAILk's hero. Did you know he got fired from Fox?!!? BWAAAAHAHAHAHA ... no wonder he has suck a bug up his butt about Fox!! ROFLMAO ... interesting that he didn't want to do the story on Clinton and Lewinsky! Boy, Fox pulls away from Obummer's lecturing and it's a real tragedy. But Olbuttman doesn't want to report on philandering Hypocrats and it's just another day at the beach! HYPOCRITES.

Olbermann was glad enough to be leaving the grind of full-time sportscasting behind. His new job brought him out of the toy department and into the news side of broadcasting, with a show on NBC’s new cable-news channel, MSNBC. The producer of the broadcast, called “The Big Show,” was Phil Griffin, who was delighted to be working with Olbermann again. But in 1998, when the news cycle was hijacked by the Monica Lewinsky scandal, Olbermann found himself the anchor of a nightly newscast called “White House in Crisis.” He grew so weary of the story that getting him on the air every day became a battle. “Keith just didn’t want to go there,” Griffin recalls. “He didn’t want to do the story, and it evolved into the hottest story of the time. It made my life miserable. It was bad. And it did not end pretty.”

Once again, Olbermann left a job unhappily, returning to sportscasting at Fox Sports. He was subsequently fired, and the remainder of his contract was paid off. (“I fired him,” Rupert Murdoch said recently. “He’s crazy.”)

  7. Asked about the prospect of an Olbermann reign at “CBS Evening News,” Sandy Socolow, Walter Cronkite’s final executive producer, responded emphatically. “Oh, no, no, no, he’s not a newsman,” Socolow said. “He’s not a reporter. I’ve never seen anything that he’s done that was original, in terms of the information. It’s all derivative. I like him, I agree with his perspective, and I think he’s very, very good on television. But he’s not a newsman.” Socolow added, “Ten years ago, if he had done at CBS what he does every day on the air at MSNBC, he would have been fired by the end of the day.”

  8. I'm done with angry. It's time to get even. Obama was raised by his racist white grandmother. She called him "Nigglet". What do you think she meant by that? I would be angry too. White people shouldn't raise black kids. It's just not natural.

  9. LOL ... remember this one, when Hillary Clinton was hoping that Obummer would get killed so she could get the Hypocrat nomination?!?! ROFLMAO ... what a bunch of liberal Al Qaeda the Hypocrats are! They are SCARY!

On May 23rd, at an editorial-board meeting in South Dakota, Clinton was asked, again, whether she should drop out of the race for the good of the Party. Clinton, saying she would not, employed a historical reference meant to remind her listeners that the nomination process had extended into June in previous primary campaigns. “My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California.”

  12. Jay-Ney, you are the angriest of them all. Just because you say you're done with angry doesn't mean angry is done with you. BWAAAAAHAHAHAHA

Just like you are also the most racist. Hey Jay-Ney, do you think it's racist if a black person votes for Obummer just because he's black? I assume you think it's racist for a white person to vote for a white person just because they're white.

  13. You guys already ARE angry Jay-Ney! BWAAAAAHAHAHAHA ... bring it on Jay-Ney, let's see what you regressive terrorists have! LOL

  14. I like this part, where they call Oldbuttman out for being sexist. And when they call him a jerk:

But, just as Obama must work to win Clinton supporters for the fall campaign, Phil Griffin has to repair a fractured audience base, a portion of which saw sexism in his network’s Clinton coverage and vowed to boycott MSNBC. Griffin knows that some of that anger is aimed at his star anchor. “It was, like, you meet a guy and you fall in love with him, and he’s funny and he’s clever and he’s witty, and he’s all these great things,” Griffin said of the relationship between Olbermann and the Clinton supporters among his viewers. “And then you commit yourself to him, and he turns out to be a jerk and difficult and brutal. And that is how the Hillary viewers see him. It’s true. But I do think they’re going to come back. There’s nowhere else to go.”

  16. Do these Hypocrats ever say what they mean? They always say something and then they go "oh, well here is what I MEANT to say". What a bunch of liars. Even when they are on the record they still either can't help lying or they are so stupid they don't know how to get their point across:

LaHood Backtracks: If In Doubt, Go To A Dealer
Transportation Secretary Said He Made A 'Misstatement' After Telling Owners To 'Stop Driving'

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood now says he misspoke when telling owners of recalled Toyotas to stop driving then.

Instead, LaHood says take them to dealerships to get them repaired.

LaHood told reporters it was "obviously a misstatement" when he told a House panel earlier Wednesday that he would advise owners not to drive recalled vehicles. The remark came during testimony to the Appropriations subcommittee on transportation.

"What I said in there, or what I thought I said was, 'if you own one of these cars, or if you're in doubt, take it to the dealer,'" LaHood said.

LaHood initially said an owner of a recalled model should "stop driving it. Take it to a Toyota dealer because they believe they have a fix for it."
