Liberals Need To Pledge Nonviolence Like Tea Partiers Are
We all know how the left have been saying that it is the right that is violent. The media keeps saying that we are going to come unhinged. In the same amount of time as the Tea Parties have been rallying, without even one episode of violence, the left have had numerous riots. I think we all need to understand why the left blame us for what the left do as a norm for them? Where is that peace and love? I see bottles and riot gear but no love or peace. It's time the left start following the same code of conduct they expect of us. I'm not saying that all left wingers are violent, but damn if they aren't out of control on too many occasions. And Obama didn't help in his inflamming things. If our president has a problem with federal law then he better change it and obey our laws. Obama needs to think about the way he says things. And the media needs to start calling it ILLEGAL immigration as that is what this is about. America is strengthened by our legal immigration methods. Immigrant are a big part of what makes America great. But we have laws in this country and illegal immigrant are not above the law.

I ask what code?
ReplyDeleteI ask ; How did this Nation come to be created? Violence or none?
I ask; Do you not fight fire with fire?
Fire of course!
I am sick and tired fo "people" saying calm down, be quiet, relax, don't fight,
Be damned with that noise! This Nation is being stolen from its owners - WE THE FUCKING PEOPLE!
You sit back and be a serf, not me . I will fight to my death for myself and my family!
This is what an American, a REAL one, is supposed to do!
I'm gone for a minute and it looks like christopher lost his fucking mind. If people are telling you to calm down take their advice. I think christopher is dangerous and a mcvey. Who the fuck shit in your coffee? "I will fight to my death for myself and my family!" Are you getting ready for a war? Are you michigan militia?
ReplyDeleteOne month after the much-ballyhooed Coffee Party gatherings, Newsweek interviews Annabelle Park, leader of the Astroturf Coffee Party. What we learn is that Coffee Party members are, surprise, surprise, hardcore lefties who do not want civility but payback.
ReplyDeleteNewsweek: When Annabel Park imagined what it would be like to head a new national political movement, here is what she had in mind: a coming together of engaged, intelligent citizens who had tired of the angry rhetoric and accusations of the Tea Partiers; Americans of all political persuasions joining in a spirit of equanimity to discuss the nation's problems, and maybe even share a laugh. It was this beautiful vision that danced in Park's head on a recent Saturday as she made her way to Busboys and Poets, a cafe in Washington, D.C., for one of nearly 500 Coffee Party meetings taking place nationwide that day. She knew the house would be full—word had spread quickly on the group's swelling Facebook page. Park, a documentary filmmaker, was especially pleased that C-Span had arranged to broadcast the meeting.
But from the moment folks in the crowd stood up to speak their minds, Park knew these people had not come to sip cappuccinos and set an example of civility for an overheated nation. They were angry. They hated the Tea Party, and the Republican Party. They wanted to get even. One audience member said America was under the thumb of oligarchs and denounced "moneyed interests." A few people hissed when Sarah Palin's name was mentioned. Also on hand were the usual suspects drawn to the C-Span bat signal. A man representing Code Pink, the left-wing protest group, said that "racism was the basis for everything that's going on right now." He also seemed to have a real problem with "fear-based rhetoric" and Northrop Grumman.
Park, a 42-year-old Korean-American with a smile that can only be described as "kind," regularly tried to steer the talk back to the group's more centrist principles. But when someone asked how many people in the room were Republicans, all 80 hands remained down. "I like the civility idea, but I hate the Tea Party people," said attendee Karen Anderson. By the end of the event, some in the crowd had decided the movement, barely two months old at the time, needed a new leader. China Dickerson, a 26-year-old community organizer, said the Coffee Party wouldn't last "unless we get someone a little more powerful to head it." She wanted a rabble-rouser, "not someone that says we can all work together." Park seemed a little rattled after the meeting. "If they want to fire me, this may not be the group for them," she said later. "We don't want conflict and confrontation."
Well so much for that bi-partisan civility nonsense. The media has made much noise about the “anger” of the Tea Parties. This so called anger is really passion. Passion against what many see as an illogical direction the nation has taken, large deficits, wild spending and a congress that is interested in issues best suited for its immediate needs rather than the people’s immediate needs.
To think one could counter the Tea Party’s passion with quietly sipping coffee and making signs is pretty ridiculous. Of course, most of the folks who showed up for the Coffee Party kick off would be hardcore lefties looking to combat the coffee party. Given the Coffee Party’s Astroturf roots, aren’t angry lefties what they were going for from the start?
I don’t see the Coffee Party growing into anything more than numbers on a Facebook page. Unless they rip the mask off and come out as angry leftist looking to support Obama’s hard left agenda and challenge the Tea Parties, many will simply lose interest in it and move on.
The unhinged college professor, the anti-capitalist who flew his plane in to the IRS building, oh! and don't forget that mad bomber who ghost wrote Al Gore's book, Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber.
ReplyDeleteAdd in hateful ranters Ed Schultz and Keith Olbermann, hysterical shrieking shrike Randi Rhodes, ACORN and the SEIU bullies (when in sufficient numbers, like all cowards. I'd love to get any one of them in the octagon) and to top it off the literally hundreds who take their marching orders from Morons Spouting Nothing But Crap and then foam at the mouth all over the internet. We're lookin' your way, Jay-Ney!
Hate is all the left's got. They are intellectually and morally bankrupt.
More government? Like the SEC watchdogs turned porn-surfing horndogs? Like the teachers unions that have driven our kids' test scores to third world toilet status? Incontinent morons that have driven California, Michigan and now the federal government to the brink of financial collapse. More of that kind of government?
Keep Hate Alive! Keep Hate Alive!
It's all the left's got...
Nice post, Anon. Leftwing wackadoo watching is so entertaining.
ReplyDeleteAnd Chris, I love the Stoopfest 2010 pictures!
Jay-Ney, Christopher, myself and ANYONE has an absolute right to defend themselves. Point here with this post and on my blog on this very same incident is these people are taking an offensive posture to get their way. And I too will defend myself, family and friends from such an offensive attack.
ReplyDeleteIf the left feels this is going to be their tactic, we won't let anyone just run over our backs.
Well I was going to answer the racisit Jan -ney but Mark Adams summed it up.
ReplyDeleteJan-ney, be advised if you want to pull your shit around me it WILL BE ANSWERED IMMEDIATELY!
Are you all nuts? It's the conservatives that push us to act like that. An Tim McVey did more damage then all progressives combined. I think it is time for us progressives to start fighting back and hit these baggers when they march.
ReplyDeleteJust look at the contrast between MLK a conservative and Melcom X a liberal. The reason the Tea Parties are growing is because they are not violent. We should never strick first. But we should never just lie down and play dead like we conservatives did for so many decades. We can fight back in peace not violence and that is the only way we can move our country in the direction we want. Watch how public opinion changes towards the left wing when they start getting ever more violent. This will give new respect for the conservatives and their nonviolent rallies. If the left protest the right need to protest them. Just5 like they do to us. We need not fear the left as that is what they want. The left6 fear the right right now and they have good reason too. Keep up the good work and pray for the inocent people that might get hurt in the riots and violence.
ReplyDeleteLarry pulls his thumb out of his mouth long enough to say , "Waaaah! I can't help myself! The devils on the right made me do it!"
ReplyDeleteCan't argue with the right's logic? Do some violence! Read your history on the 1930's, Larry. Some of it will be like looking in a mirror.
Michael Savage is right: Liberalism is a mental disorder.
Larry if Your Going Mental Now You Had Better Seek Professional Help Cause Come November When Progressives and Their Regime Are Defeated You Will For Sure Need Medication.
ReplyDeleteChris Is RIGHT Conservatives/Tea Party Do Not Have To Stoop To Violence. Liberals/Progressives With Their Violence Will Doom Themselves. But Citizens Of Any Ideaology Have The Right To Defend Thier Property and Family and The Mental Progressives Would Be WISE To Heed a Citizen Whose Family is Threatened. This Regime Has Threatened Citizens Familys Future And They Will Pay At Ballot Box For There Actions!
Freedom Has Been Paid For By Citizens For Over 233 Years And Majority Of Citizens Will NOT Pawn It Or Give It Up For A Progressive Ideaology.
