Is Falsifying Military Records In With Politicians?

Apparently falsifying military records is the new political infidelity. News broke today that Rep. Mark Kirk, who is running for President Obama’s former Senate seat in Illinois, claimed in his official bio that he had received the U.S. Navy’s Intelligence Officer of the Year award for his service during NATO’s conflict with Serbia in the late 1990s. He "misspoke". This man needs to be taken out of the race. If we can't trust his words then we have nothing. We must not be like the Democrats when it comes to our politicians lie, cheat or steal. They just write it off when their party does it. But we must hold our reps to a higher standard. We must hold all politicians to a higher standard. If they lie they must go. We must be able to trust our political representatives.                                                                                            And here is the new version of “I misspoke”:
In a message on his blog, Kirk wrote that “upon a recent review of my records, I found that an award listed in my official biography was misidentified” and that the award he had intended to list was given to his unit, not to him individually.

  1. No Matter What Ideaology Or Political Affiliation Any Canadate Who Misspeaks Or Misidentifies Any Part Of Military Record Should Be Dropped From Election Proccess. We Have Enough Politicans Misspeaking That Are In Office. If Hope And Change Is The Goal Politicans Of This Type Should Be Forced To Leave The Island!

  3. Misspoke my @ss. I'm tired of politicians pulling this crap. I was in over 20 years and never did a heroic thing in my life. I'm not ashamed of it. It is what it is. Live it, Love it, Own it. If you can't, you have a mental problem.

  4. If we don't hold our politicians to the highest standard then shame on us when they keep acting like they are.

  5. Yeah this guy is really a piece of work. Not sure what drives a liberals, like Kirk, to lie about their service. His opponent in the race has got troubles, too.
I didn't trust Kirk leading up to the primary vote, because of his unwillingness to not listen to his constituency.

  7. The problem is really not in the wording republican or democrat but rather the term politician.

It is the people who are grudgingly running for office that are not pulling this shit.

Do not vote for career politicians, they only seek to promote themselves be it through lies or bribes.
