More Violence From The Left-Wing: Union Protester Whacks Young FreedomWorks Activist

Tabitha Hale
As Hale filmed a heated debate between one of her colleagues and a CWA union organizer, the man violently smacked Hale and her camera away:
Fortunately, Hale was not seriously injured in the altercation. God help us the next time these people get violent. Should we expect anything other then violence when Democratic Party leaders say,"Time to get a little bloody"? Why would the Democratic Party stand for violent rhetoric like this when they were the first to denounce it when they thought Rep. Giffords was killed by a conservative? I'm sure the left-wing,Democratic Party and the MSM believed rhetoric kills. Conservatives don't, but they sure acted like they believed it. Are they trying to agitate the left into violence? We all know how easily the left turn to violence? Could you imagine what would have happened in the media if the Tea Party had acted the way these unions,Democrats and liberals have been it would have been front page news for months.
Democrat Congressman from Massachusetts who made some questionable statements to the more than 1000 protesters gathered in Boston yesterday. The video has surfaced, meet Congressman Michael Capuano:
Update: New video of intimidation by the left-winga large group of unions including AFSCME, NEA, SEUI, AFT and ATU protested outside FreedomWorks HQ in DC. We were cussed at and called names. A Jewish member of FreedomWorks staff was called a "bad jew."

  1. We surround you. We don't have to make things up about them. We have proof of their actions and words. Conservatives need to get out and film these protesters. We need to get out and ask them questions. If you know of a protest in your area please let us all know. www.freedomworks.com has a great conection to all events. Take a camera and if you get video of something let me know. I'd love to show what is behind the liberal rhetoric of "Republicans want to kill your babies" BS.

  2. The way you wrote the headline i'd have thunk someone had been killed. You shove a camera in a mans personal space expect to get it slapped out of the way. Show some fucking respect.

Now i am going back to my conservative roots. As a kid i was taught you get in a mans face you get hit. It was about respect. You show some and everyones cool.

When did the republicans become the party of little punk motherfuckers who can't show any respect for a persons personal space. If he had walked over to her and she was three or four feet away i would agree with you, but when your 6 or 7 inches away from a persons face your in the wrong. At least the party of the Reagan days knew better.

  3. So Joe, what you are saying is you would hit a women for video taping you? See Joe conservatives have been putting up with liberals getting in our faces for the last few years. We didn't hit anyone or it would have been on the front page of the news. I have a question for you Joe? Is it a union thing whacking women or a liberal thing? Joe take a look at the union guy with the panda in the updated video. Did you notice how that union idiot tried to get in the conservatives faces? Did you hear the words he was saying? Did you see the respect? This has been going on to us since the beginning. Open your eyes Joe and grow up. You write just like the union thugs talked on the video. It seems that hitting women and intimidation is both a liberal and union thing. Thanks for proving me right AGAIN. I hope you don't treat you wife or sister the way that thug treated that poor girl. Peace brother and don't hit girls. Assult is assult weather it's a whack, smack or punch. And no man should ever lay a hand on a women no matter how close she gets with her camera.

  8. She should stay home if she can't handle the heat. If a teabagger gets in my face I'd do the same thing. Teabaggers are trying to kill our union jobs, what do you think will happen? You'd kick the shit out of someone taking your job and we will do the same. You fucking teabaggers and repugs can go to hell for all I care.

  9. Now, we’re used to this happening, and there are quite a few videos out there that show similar events. It’s the leftist way. They are bused in in large numbers. They have their pre-printed signs and shirts. They chant, “this is what Democracy looks like.” Then, they prevent the state Senate and the Governor, who were elected (democracy, you know) from taking a vote. They also have signs with the same inflammatory rhetoric that they decry. And finally, one of them slugs a girl.

This is the left, kids. This is what they do. As we try to restore freedom (and prevent their efforts to end it), there will be more of this.

  10. Wow, you DemocRATS have hit a new low. Is that what you people are teaching your kids? It's okay to hit and/or manhandle women, depending on the circumstance? Wow, just wow. Unbelievable. Funny, people like Chris Matthews and Jon Stewart didn't mention that violence is okay in some situations. Maybe they didn't get that particular DNC memo. Such brave liberals. I guess you really ARE for equal rights for women!

  11. The good news out of Wisconsin is that public school students' test scores skyrocketed last week, mystifying educators. The bad news is many student-teacher love affairs were hard-hit without access to janitors' closets and locker rooms.

Democrats are acting as if Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's demand that public sector employees give up collective bargaining would have George Washington rolling in his grave (a clear violation of Gravediggers' Local 803 regulations concerning the rolling of the dead).

In fact, government employees should never, ever be allowed to organize.

The need for a union comes down to this question: Do you have a boss who wants you to work harder for less money? In the private sector, the answer is yes. In the public sector, the answer is a big, fat NO.

Government unions have nothing in common with private sector unions because they don't have hostile management on the other side of the bargaining table. To the contrary, the "bosses" of government employees are co-conspirators with them in bilking the taxpayers.

Far from being careful stewards of the taxpayers' money, politicians are on the same side of the bargaining table as government employees -- against the taxpayers, who aren't allowed to be part of the negotiation. This is why the head of New York's largest public union in the mid-'70s, Victor Gotbaum, gloated, "We have the ability to elect our own boss."

Democratic politicians don't think of themselves as "management." They don't respond to union demands for more money by saying, "Are you kidding me?" They say, "Great -- get me a raise too!"

Democrats buy the votes of government workers with generous pay packages and benefits -- paid for by someone else -- and then expect a kickback from the unions in the form of hefty campaign donations, rent-a-mobs and questionable union political activity when they run for re-election.

In 2006, 10,000 public employees staged a rally outside the New Jersey State House to protest the mere discussion of a cut to their gold-plated salaries and benefits. Then-Gov. Jon Corzine leapt onto the stage shouting: "We will fight for a fair contract!"

Only later, someone noticed: Wait -- isn't he management? (It takes a special kind of courage to promise 10,000 crazed union agitators that you'll fight to get them more money.)

Service Employees International Union officials openly threaten California legislators. At a 2009 legislative hearing, an SEIU member sneered into a microphone: "We helped to getchu into office, and we gotta good memory. Come November, if you don't back our program, we'll getchu out of office."

It used to be widely understood that collective bargaining has no place in government employment. In 1937, the American president beloved by liberals, FDR, warned that collective bargaining "cannot be transplanted into the public service." George Meany, head of the AFL-CIO for a quarter century, said unions were not appropriate for civil servants. As recently as 1978, the vast majority of states prohibited unionization of government employees.

Anytime there is the slightest suggestion that perhaps in the middle of a deep recession, public school teachers should pay 1.5 percent of their salaries toward their extravagant health care plans for their entire families, suddenly we get television ads of hard-working men doing dangerous jobs on docks and in foundries while being abused by their greedy capitalist overseers.

    ReplyDelete
  12. The unions must be desperately hoping that no one will notice ... Wait a minute! WE'RE TALKING ABOUT TEACHERS! This isn't the Discovery Channel's "Dirty Jobs" -- it's Mrs. Cooper's seventh-grade "values clarification" class.

With heavy union dues, labor has plenty of money to pay for propaganda and to threaten and bribe politicians.

On his first day in office, the Republican governor of Indiana, Mitch Daniels, signed an executive order denying public sector employees the right to bargain collectively -- something that had been granted, naturally, by a Democratic governor.

As a result, Indiana government employees instantly got to take home an extra thousand dollars that no longer went to union dues -- and good employees started getting raises, while bad employees got cashiered.

But government workers think the job of everyone else in the economy is to protect their high salaries, crazy work rules and obscene pensions. They self-righteously lecture us about public service, the children, a "living wage" -- all in the service of squeezing more money from the taxpayer to fund their breathtakingly selfish job arrangements.

There's never a recession if you work for the government. The counties with the highest per capita income aren't near New York City or Los Angeles -- they're in the Washington, D.C., area -- a one-company town where the company is the government. The three counties with the highest incomes in the entire country are all suburbs of Washington. Eleven of the 25 counties with the highest incomes are near Washington.

For decades now, the Democrats have had a good gig buying the votes of government workers with outrageous salaries, benefits and work rules -- and then sticking productive earners with the bill. But, now, we're out of money, no matter how long Wisconsin Democrats hide out in Illinois.

  17. Looks like yet another left-winger missed the meme on the New Civility.

Attorney and "Ring of Fire" radio show co-host Mike Papantonio, guest-hosting on Ed Schultz's radio program yesterday, revealed two things -- he hates old people and wants Tea Party retirees to hurry up and die.

This will all catch up with the left-wing sooner then they think.

  18. The sad thing about these protesters are they are doing this stuff in front of children. It's no wonder why most Americans side against the unions and protesters.

  19. The cameraman who was accosted in the video is Adam Cole. He works for “We the People of Rhode Island,” a public access TV show in Rhode Island. Another witness and citizen journalist at the rally who had a video camera, Randy Swanson of Oathkeepers-Rhode Island, filmed the confrontation. Swanson said that criminal charges against the union supporter are pending — and that Providence Capitol Police, Providence Police Department and Rhode Island State Police are investigating other incidents that also occurred that day involving belligerent union supporters.
Police dept.around the nation are busy with all the violence and vandalism from protesters. Those same police have never arrested one tea party patriot. The left must be proud of themselves for their cost to society?

  20. Chris, am i saying that i would smack the camera or hand if it was in my face? YES. If you think of pushing a camera or hand out of your personal space as hitting then thats how you see it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Joe, he didn't just knock the camera out off her hand. He hit her with his union sign as well. There is a big difference between pushing a camera away from your face and what really happened. If you smack a persons camera out of their hands it's assult and you could go to jail for that. It seems that not one Tea Partier smacked anyones cameras when the counter Tea Party ralliers got in our faces.

What about the union thug threatening to rape that cameraman and then called him a homosexual slur? It seems your fine with that one too.

Should the panda guy have the right to bitch slap that union thug when they got in his face?

What about when those union protesters ganged up on that gay black conservative? Should he have done anything to them?

Give me a break Joe. I know you don't agree with these action, so why are you agreeing with them then? Are you that ideological that the truth only gets in the way? No mattert what you say there in no double standard in this country.

  24. The Buffalo Beast blogger who prank-called Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker, falsely posing as billionaire David Koch, has written some edgy - some may say offensive - articles in the past. For the publication he edits, Ian Murphy has written such pieces as "F*** The Troops," a dissertation explaining why he thinks, "the nearly two-thirds of us who know this war is bullshit need to stop sucking off the troops," and "Let There Be Retards," an exclusive look inside a Kentucky creationism museum - while Murphy was falsely pretending to have Asperger's Syndrome.

The Walker storyline has blown up on the left-wing blogosphere, and several mainstream publications like the Washington Post, NPR and USA Today have run with stories on the prank call as well. Most mainstream publications that have published articles about the prank call have left out mention of Murphy's journalistic past.

Murphy gave an interview to the left-leaning Salon.com, and said that he was "wildly unprepared" for the conversation he was about to have with Walker while falsely masquerading as David Koch. Salon.com did mention Murphy's Asperger's story, but didn't mention the story he wrote slandering American soldiers.

Joe and Bruce, do you feel the same way about our soldiers? Most liberals do.

  25. Friends-

Do you want the public sector unions, MoveOn.org and the AFL-CIO running this country even after Barack Obama has left the White House?

That’s what is going to happen if we don’t win this fight in Wisconsin. The stakes are that high.

That’s why I need you to support American Majority and the work they are doing by going to www.IStandWithWalker.com and signing their petition.

When other conservative organizations balked at taking the unions head on in this fight, American Majority charged into the void, rallying 10,000 tea partiers from across Wisconsin in support of Scott Walker this past weekend. That rally has led American Majority to take their fight to the national level. They’re not just in Wisconsin, they’re in Ohio, Florida, New Jersey, Colorado and other states.

Go to www.IStandWithWalker.com. Tell Scott Walker you stand with him.

This is a historic moment. We are seeing the public sector union bosses push their members to the brink to keep their oligarchy intact in the face of a very modest proposal presented by Governor Scott Walker. Facing a $3.6 billion deficit, he’s asking the public sector unions to put 5.8% of paychecks into their pension plans and 12.6% into their healthcare plans. Yep, that’s it. You’d think the world was coming to an end the way the paid union protestors were acting in Madison.

Joining the public sector unions in the fight are Barack Obama’s Organizing for America, the Democrat National Committee and MoveOn.org. Why? Because they know they have to win in Madison. They lose there, they everywhere.

To show you how seriously the Left is taking this fight, MoveOn.org sent the following email to its 5 million members on Tuesday:

    “Dear MoveOn member,

Moments like these don't come along often.

Newly-elected Tea Party governor Scott Walker thought he could slash the Wisconsin state budget and dismantle 50 years of workers' rights without a fight, but boy was he wrong.

Hundreds of thousands of regular Wisconsinites—teachers, firefighters, police officers, students—have taken to the streets of Madison. They've occupied the capitol building for the last 7 days and nights.

But this isn't just about Wisconsin. In state capitals across the country, and in Washington, D.C., Republicans are using the wrecked economy as an excuse to slash vital programs and hurt workers. The American Dream itself is under attack.

So we're helping lead an emergency call for rallies in every state capital this Saturday at noon to support folks in Wisconsin and oppose these attacks, wherever they occur.

We have only 4 days to organize, so we're trying something unusual—asking thousands of individuals and local groups to add their names to this call to action. Will you share the call with your personal network—plus get any groups you're part of to sign on?”

The Left is mobilizing and American Majority has responded to the challenge. Many of you know them as the group that has been doing the Lord’s work across the United States, training 1200 candidates over the last 18 months and 13,000 activists. It is the activist training that has put them right in the middle of the fight against the unions.

By launching www.IStandWithWalker.com, American Majority is taking the fight to the public sector unions across the United States.

I am asking you to join them in the fight. This could come to your state next. We have to win this one, folks.

  26. Chris, i never said i approved of anal rape threats. In fact i didn't discuss it because i didn't watch that video. I only read the words and commented based on the video on your blog.

Even if i had watched it, i wouldn't be able to comment because my laptop is getting repaired and i dug out a old desktop that doesn't have speakers.

Man, i am all for defending yourself. You can't just go blasting someone in the face for getting to close to you, but i personally feel that someone puts a hand in your face, you have every right to smack it, push it. Calling that assault is PC bullshit.

I didn't see here get hit with the sign. Where was that at?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Joe your silence said it all. What about the racism in the post before this one? Hitting a womens camera out of her hand and then hitting her in the face with the union sign is just "PC bullshit" to you? I'm sure you would have said the same if a Tea Partier did anything like it. See Joe yo9u are no different then these thugs, because you are excuses for them. The sign hitting was at the same time Joe. Listen to the man say "you hit her with your sign". Joe you and I both know that the lefties got in our faces at the Teas Party rallies. At the Tea Party Express rally the lefties got in our faces with a bullhorn. If we would have hit them or pushed them away it was assault. Heck those idiots in the Clinton TWP rally yelled to the cops if someone kept walking and bumped into them when they would jump out of the crowd with their bullhorn and video camera. Thank goodness for Tin-hat Man. If it wasn't for that idiot looking so stupid maybe people would have gotten more angry at the counter tea partiers. We had to just laugh once we seen that brainiac. In reality Joe you don't have the right to stike a person for "getting in your face". You can't hit their phone for being a foot or so away. But you do have the right to leave or call the cops for harrasment. See Joe your side is lawless unlike the Tea Partiers that even clean up after themselves. PS PC is your gigg not ours. We are a country of laws Joe and the lawless left is going to find out about that over the years. See it is thinking like yours that has our jails and prisons full of liberals with excuses of why they beat women or some guy.

  31. Let the riots and getting bloody start.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republicans in the Wisconsin Assembly took the first significant action on their plan to strip collective bargaining rights from most public workers, abruptly passing the measure early Friday morning before sleep-deprived Democrats realized what was happening.

The vote ended three straight days of punishing debate in the Assembly. But the political standoff over the bill — and the monumental protests at the state Capitol against it — appear far from over.

The Assembly's vote sent the bill on to the Senate, but minority Democrats in that house have fled to Illinois to prevent a vote. No one knows when they will return from hiding. Republicans who control the chamber sent state troopers out looking for them at their homes on Thursday, but they turned up nothing.

"I applaud the Democrats in the Assembly for earnestly debating this bill and urge their counterparts in the state Senate to return to work and do the same," Assembly Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald, R-Horicon, said in a statement issued moments after the vote.

The plan from Republican Gov. Scott Walker contains a number of provisions he says are designed to fill the state's $137 million deficit and lay the groundwork for fixing a projected $3.6 billion shortfall in the upcoming 2011-13 budget.

The flashpoint is language that would require public workers to contribute more to their pensions and health insurance and strip them of their right to collectively bargain benefits and work conditions.

Democrats and unions see the measure as an attack on workers' rights and an attempt to cripple union support for Democrats. Union leaders say they would make pension and health care concessions if they can keep their bargaining rights, but Walker has refused to compromise.

Tens of thousands of people have jammed the Capitol since last week to protest, pounding on drums and chanting so loudly that police providing security have resorted to ear plugs. Hundreds have taken to sleeping in the building overnight, dragging in air mattresses and blankets.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Walker issued a statement Friday praising the Assembly for passing the bill and renewing his call for Senate Democrats to return.

"The fourteen Senate Democrats need to come home and do their jobs, just like the Assembly Democrats did," Walker said.

With the Senate immobilized, Assembly Republicans decided to act and convened the chamber Tuesday morning.

Democrats launched a filibuster, throwing out dozens of amendments and delivering rambling speeches. Each time Republicans tried to speed up the proceedings, Democrats rose from their seats and wailed that the GOP was stifling them.

Debate had gone on for 60 hours and 15 Democrats were still waiting to speak when the vote started around 1 a.m. Friday. Speaker Pro Tem Bill Kramer, R-Waukesha, opened the roll and closed it within seconds.

Democrats looked around, bewildered. Only 13 of the 38 Democratic members managed to vote in time.

Republicans immediately marched out of the chamber in single file. The Democrats rushed at them, pumping their fists and shouting "Shame!" and "Cowards!"

The Republicans walked past them without responding.

Democrats left the chamber stunned. The protesters greeted them with a thundering chant of "Thank you!" Some Democrats teared up. Others hugged.

"What a terrible, terrible day for Wisconsin," said Rep. Jon Richards, D-Milwaukee. "I am incensed. I am shocked."

GOP leaders in the Assembly refused to speak with reporters, but earlier Friday morning Majority Leader Scott Suder, R-Abbotsford, warned Democrats that they had been given 59 hours to be heard and Republicans were ready to vote.

The governor has said that if the bill does not pass by Friday, the state will miss a deadline to refinance $165 million of debt and will be forced to start issuing layoff notices next week. However, the deadline may not as strict as he says.

The nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau said earlier this week that the debt refinancing could be pushed back as late as Tuesday to achieve the savings Walker wants. Based on a similar refinancing in 2004, about two weeks are needed after the bill becomes law to complete the deal. That means if the bill is adopted by the middle of next week, the state can still meet a March 16 deadline, the Fiscal Bureau said.

Democratic Sen. Jon Erpenbach said he and his colleagues wouldn't return until Walker compromised.

Frustrated by the delay, Senate Republican Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, Jeff Fitzgerald's brother, ordered state troopers to find the missing Democrats, but they came up empty. Wisconsin law doesn't allow police to arrest the lawmakers, but Fitzgerald said he hoped the show of authority would have pressured them to return.

Erpenbach, who was in the Chicago area, said all 14 senators remained outside of Wisconsin.

"It's not so much the Democrats holding things up," Erpenbach said. "It's really a matter of Gov. Walker holding things up."
