Democrats Help Obama Jobs Bill Fail to Clear The Senate

Forty-six Republicans joined with two Democrats to filibuster the Forty-six Republicans joined with two
Democrats to filibuster the $447 billion plan.
That vote was not final. The roll call was kept open Tuesday night to allow Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H. to vote. But it would have taken 60 votes in the 100-member Senate to keep the legislation alive.

It will be hard to blame Republicans for not liking this bill. The only bipartisan part of this idiot Jobs Bill was those Democrats and Republicans that came together to defeat it. They know how bad this bill is and instead of standing with their party they put country first. I'm glade to see both parties coming together like this.

  1. Obama spews lies and the Associated Press carries his water.... no surprises here - and my disgust is magnified by the lack of response from the Republican leadership in the Senate - oh wait - that's an oxymoron... McConnell needs to go!
