A Occupy Wall Street protester camped in Zuccotti Park tries to catch a little sun on an overcast morning in the financial district in New York, Tuesday.
Is this what the left-wing calls democracy? It's bad enough that there has been so much racism and lawlessness coming out of these protests, but come on do you have to destroy everything you touch? I'm sure part of their demands will now be toilets, showers, housing and food or they will just take what they think is owed them?
This video shows how these protesters think. They go after Geraldo and he was trying to get their views on their protests. He had two liberals on to try and explain what these liberals are trying to do. I think it is obvious that these people are just a mob of unhappy liberals that want free stuff and will stop at nothing to get what they demand. Even if it is against the law or infringes on someones civil rights. Let's not forget how the liberals treated John Lewis by not letting him speak. I still can't figure why they wouldn't let a black civil rights leader speak.
We are seeing what these people will do if they ever got power in the government.
I didn't think the protests were ready yet for my off-key version of "Chimes of Freedom" but there's a guy in this video holding up a cardboard sign saying "this is the chimes of our freedom flashing". So I guess I'm wrong! San Diego Civic Center here I come! Fox noise and the right can't handle the fact that this movement makes the teabaggers look like little girls playing dress up with stuffed animals,
ReplyDeleteand imaginary friends. We will bring a world of hurt to the republicans and the teabaggers. Either Wall Street gives us back what they took or we will have to take it back ourself.
With the passage of the USA Patriot Act, and the 2010 renewal of nearly all original provisions, the FBI, CIA, DOJ, and a plethora of other agencies have legal authority to do pretty much anything they choose. "Domestic terrorism" is covered as is conducting surveillance of "lone wolves" (individuals suspected of terrorist-related activities not linked to terrorist groups).
ReplyDeleteIf it is decided someone falls under the provisions of this Act, pretty much nothing is inviolable. Nothing. The Patriot Act negates Constitutional rights that previously barred the most egregious actions an American citizen could imagine, including "roving wiretaps", "sneak and peek" which allows for delayed notification of the execution of search warrants, searching a home or business without the owner’s or the occupant’s permission or knowledge, and far, far more. Although the original powers were to be temporary, I fear those lost rights are irrecoverable.
Of particular interest are Title II, "Surveillance Procedures" and Title V, "Removing obstacles to investigating terrorism". But don't skip the others. The operating environment of the 1960's is just that - history. You may assume that every single post on this website, this page, and on all other left-leaning locations, and all social media is closely monitored, the poster tracked down, and who knows what from there.

Since most observers know that the #OccupyWallSt protesters are protesting capitalism and free-markets (generally), as well as banks and “corporatism” (specifically), other than a general destruction of America’s economic system, there has been a lot of questions as to what protesters’ end goals are.
ReplyDeleteAs the #OccupyWallSt protests have been designed and populated by a hybrid of hard-core Marxists, from the leftist unions, to socialists and actual Communists, there have the stated goals ranging from the seizure of workplaces, schools and the “de-privatization of everything,” to the AFL-CIO’s more “moderate” goal of a worldwide tax on financial transactions. Then, there is also the unofficial proposed list of demands that has drawn a good deal of ridicule.
Despite all of this, however, it was ‘The Collaborators” who gave insight as to how the Neo-Coms plan to reorganize society—and that is through the system they call “collaboratism.”
What is Collaboratism?
Collaboratism is the dividing of society into smaller groups and making decisions unanimously.
If you’re laughing right now, you’re not alone. However, you should know, the #OccupyWallSt protesters have apparently already begun rolling out their “collaboratism” system in their protests—and we’re already see its failure.
Via a variety of videos on the internet, as well as blog posts like these, there have been numerous references to “People’s Assemblies” and “General Assemblies.”
"We call for the organization of people’s assemblies in every city, every public square, every township."
For those outside of the protests, this has caused some confusion as to what these “assemblies” are. In sum, this is democratic collectivism taken to its ultimate form—the body politic without authority.
Do you remember the vidoe of Civil Rights icon John Lewis, watch the full video because it is the vision of the #OccupyWallSt protesters would impose upon the rest of society.
Note the frustration and anger of the collectivist organizer near the end when he realizes that Collaboratism isn’t turning out exactly as he thought it might. Note also the “Teamster Thug” who is Lewis’ escort and clearly not happy with the outcome of the assembly.
Democrats and union bosses who are wholeheartedly embracing the #OccupyWallSt protests should take heed: Under the system being espoused here, there is no place for you. You will be out of office, out of power, a part of the collective hive…a hive without a king or queen.
Tread carefully, Democrats and union bosses, for this is the movement you are promoting and giving legitimacy. You may embrace the call for toppling the capitalist system. Just know, however, you are part of that system and when it crumbles, so too will you.
It turns out that girl those protesters gang banged was only 15. To make things even worse she was special needs.
ReplyDeleteThe Portland Police Bureau said Saturday that it is investigating an allegation of a sexual assault Friday night in Chapman Square where “Occupy Portland” supporters are camping.

This is becoming a trend. The crowd just stood there video taping these rapes. What is wrong with you people?
It's a shame what these people are doing Liz. Women need to be careful at these violent protests. Somehow I don't think these rapes and videos will make it on the MSM. I can only hope that they catch the people that raped these young girls. I just can't believe what is exceptable to these protesters.
ReplyDeleteSo we now have a having a black president who somehow has managed to turn us against each other by playing the race card and made people think that working for a living and earning a good salary is greedy, And now he wants these entitlement sucking race card playing socialist to begrudge the people who actually work for they pay to be ashamed of what they have accomplished, and give it away to the unmotivated people who yell and scream with signs and with slogans, and chants.
ReplyDeleteAmen to this post, I agree and I also posted on this.
ReplyDeleteGreat Job Chris
These people will all go scurrying home when it's time for their government checks to be in the mail

ReplyDeleteMayor Michael Bloomberg said on Monday that he’ll allow the Wall Street protesters to stay indefinitely, provided they abide by the law, marking his strongest statement to date on the city’s willingness to let demonstrators occupy a park in Lower Manhattan.
“The bottom line is – people want to express themselves. And as long as they obey the laws, we’ll allow them to,” said Bloomberg as he prepared to march in the Columbus Day Parade on Fifth Avenue. “If they break the laws, then, we’re going to do what we’re supposed to do: enforce the laws.”
Bloomberg said he has “no idea” how much longer the Wall Street demonstration will last. “I think part of it has probably to do with the weather,” he said.
Up til now, the mayor has been cagey when asked how long he’ll allow the protesters to stay, replying: “We’ll see.” His words Monday morning signal a stronger commitment to allowing the demonstration to continue unimpeded by municipal government.

This is a peaceful Thank you ever so much, sir, for your gracious dispensation. We shall surely remember your generosity when it comes to reclaiming what you and your friends have taken from us.
This is a peaceful event unlike the tea nuts who were walking around with guns and threatening people with their presence. Also these protestors know how to spell unlike the crazed tea brats who were paid to occupy an hateful event by the corporations. I saw a sign that said "We the People"!
Soon we will be in every town in America. We may even come to your houses, like we did the CEO's.
There is barely a corner of the globe that has not been touched by the current financial meltdown. But a senior sociology scholar at Yale University thinks the crisis is far wider than the economic crash - it is capitalism itself which is collapsing. Immanuel Wallerstein explained his theory to RT.
ReplyDelete"Karl Marx, whom he follows in emphasizing underlying economic factors and their dominance over ideological factors in global politics, and whose economic thinking he has adopted with such ideas as the dichotomy between capital and labor, the view of world economic development through stages such as feudalism and capitalism, belief in the accumulation of capital, dialectics and more; French historian Fernand Braudel, who had described the development and political implications of extensive networks of economic exchange in the European world between 1400 and 1800; Dependency theory, most obviously its concepts of "core" and "periphery"; and — presumably — the practical experience and impressions gained from his own work regarding post-colonial Africa."

As a good man once said: you are the one you've been waiting for. You've been here all along.
ReplyDeleteI am so fucking sick of the "news" media, of the powers-that-be, of this slow, sneaking abrogation of my basic American rights.
OWS is the first, best representation of that feeling in the pit of your stomach, the one that says, "This is wrong."
Please: if you can show up to a protest in your town - or start one in its absence - do so. If you can bring blankets and food to an ongoing protest, do so.
If you know a good lawyer, let him/her know they might have a slew of new clients soon - I have a strong sense that the billyclubs are going to fly soon (this level of intemperance is tolerated only for so long in America) which means a lot of good people are going to need a good lawyer before too much more time passes.
This is no joke.
I am so fucking sick of these people.
So are you.
Show up.
Stand.
It's us or nothing at this point.
This is a war and we need warriors.
We are entering the days of Weimar. You have to know about Weimar Republic. That is what preceded Nazi Germany, and it became vile. It became exactly what we’re doing now. And it got so far out of control that the people begged for it to stop. And when they put it all back together, it didn’t resemble anything, anything like what it was. That’s why the purity of the race and the purity of the children and, you know, the Hitler youth, why that was also popular because they had gone so far off the rails. Exactly where we’re going now.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds more likie a freak show then a protest. I'm so glade the Tea Partiers didn't pass out condoms and run arround topless. I hear the hookers are spending a lot of time with these protesters. Drugs and asking the homeless people for sex seems to be the MO of the Occupy crowd.
ReplyDeleteIf the protesters keep acting like animals they will get treated like animals.
Chris The protesters show that Greece has arrived here. Protesters are protesting SUCCESS aND believe it is thier Right to reap the rewards of anothers Labors,no more no less!
