  1. Gardening is good for the soul - especially if you don't have to keep covering up at night because of global warming!

    1. I believe you meant Climate Change!

In 1979 it was the coming of the New Ice Age!

  3. Sounds good Chris.

Some word of advise though considering Obamas economy and minions - keep a watch on it 24/7 so the harvest gets to those as intended.

I do not mean to be a downer here as I think it is great, just being a realist.

  4. Hopefully anyone that takes from the garden is needy. But we have people in nice new cars and new tattoos come in to our food bank all the time. It's a sad part of life.

  5. How will some be able to make the car payment if they also have to pay for FOOD! Common guys lighten up!

  6. This is happening at every church. They come in with their nails, hair done, smoking, smelling of booz, driving a new car and overweight. We have one guy bragging about his $300 tattoo while asking for more food.

  7. Excellent, Chris! There is a Catholic Church near my home that every year they plant a 4 acre community Garden.
    The thing is massive.
All harvested in the fall and given to the local food banks.

  9. Bruce would be the Fertilizer! Thats just my opinion but it do make sense!

Citizens could and can do more to help the truly needy than any government program through churches and other charities for one main reason. Government help comes with strings Citizens help comes with compassion and understanding.

  11. We all know how much you enjoy gardening Chris and it's a good thing that your using heirloom plants and seeds. Unfortunately, CP and the other conservatives have to assume that everyone who steals food and it is stealing food, has to be a democrat. It is just as likely that many of them are conservative or independent unless there is a racial tone to CP's suggestion. I'm going to attempt to give him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't just attacking African Americans.

  12. I went with a few Master gardeners to St. Luke community garden. We have been to many community gardens over the years. This is one of the nicest we have ever seen. We can't wait to see it in a few months. Can we get a tour next time? We found it on Google and communitygarden.org. This garden will be a gem for your community. I just wish it was closer.
