‘Day of Reckoning’: Chris Christie Tackles Massive State Debt on ‘60 Minutes’

It could be the biggest crisis since the collapse of the housing market. That’s how experts are describing state budgets, which are becoming so spend-heavy that municipalities are now drowning in debt and unrealistic spending obligations. This is the train reck that will hurt Americans the most. Thanks to liberal spending and deficit spending we the people are going to be dealt a blow that we can't print our way out of. Now not all cities and states spent like there was no tomorrow. And that is where the problem lies. Do you think that a conservative state like Texas that has balanced their budget will see no problem with giving say California money? Lets say you are a saver and your neighbor is a spender. Should you have to pay off his debt because he couldn't save? Is that "social justice"? Do you think that that might give more credence to the idea of cessation from the union? I know Michigan is going to be one of the first states in the union to ask the rest of the union for money. It's going to be a rough ride, are you ready for it?  Business Insider calls the piece, “what everyone will be talking about today”:
Last week, the Manhattan Institute’s Steve Malanga called the state budget problem a “fiscal train wreck,” and compared benefits in the public sector to benefits in the private sector. In short, he confirms Christie’s call for cuts:
One big area of concern is employee costs, including not only pay but benefits. According to the governor’s association report, the average state worker now earns $39.83 an hour in compensation, including benefits, compared to an average of $27.49 in the private sector. The big differentials are in health benefits ($4.43 per hour in the public sector vs. $2.01 in the private sector), and in pension costs ($3.23 per hour in the public sector vs. 94 cents per hour in private industry). As the report noted, “To have any hope of achieving fiscal health in the future, states will need to redesign their benefit systems.”

Why Can't The Left-Wingers Follow Their Own Idealogy?

LAWYERS for Julian Assange have expressed anger about an alleged smear campaign against the Australian WikiLeaks founder. Incriminating police files were published in the British newspaper that has used him as its source for hundreds of leaked US embassy cables. The same lefties that demand everyone from talk show hosts to the federal government be transparent cry like little babies when their rules are placed on them. Why do you think this is?

DOD Report: Straight Troops Must Shower With Gays

A special Defense Department working group appointed by Defense Secretary Robert Gates has recommended that the military should "expressly prohibit" heterosexuals from using separate showers, bathrooms and bunking facilities from homosexuals when the repeal of the law banning homosexuals from the military goes into effect. The military has no problem putting gays and straight together naked they shouldn't have a problem with those straight soldiers reading from the Holy Bible out loud. Maybe they should focus on the verses pertaining to perversions of sex. If the 3% of Americans that are gay have rights to indulge their perversions then the majority of Americans that are of faith(Christian,Jewish,Islam...) should have the right to read from their holy books the parts that go over homosexuality. But we know that the left wont let the majority have the same rights as the minority. With all the focus on homosexuals you'd think there were more then 3% of the American population. We are now willing to make the 97% uncomfortable so the 3% can do what they want.

Hacker Group ‘Anonymous’ Sends Open Letter to Glenn Beck

The hacker group “Anonymous,” which has claimed responsibility for tormenting companies which have cut off Wikileaks, has published an open letter to Glenn Beck “to set the record straight” regarding who they are and what they do. Since there are so many left-wing liberal terrorist groups and left-wing violence it's easy to overlook most of them. This left-wing terrorist group has taken it to a new level even for liberals.
The letter from the group, which says it’s not really a group, is below:

Mr. Beck,
We have no problem with those who criticize us. We understand that freedom of speech includes the right to speak out in criticism of those whom you may not agree with. We have many critics, and we respect their first amendment rights.
However, in your recent comments, it seems that you and/or your editing team have mixed up a few details during your research on us. We at Anonymous wish to set the record straight, so that you and your audience will be better informed about us and our objectives. Hopefully, this will reduce some of the anxiety you may feel towards us in the process.
You see, Mr. Beck, we are not an organization. We have no leaders. We have no official spokesperson. We have no age, race, ethnicity, color, nationality, or gender. Anyone who claims to speak for all of us is, quite frankly, a liar. To be clear, the gentleman known as Coldblood was not sanctioned by anyone but himself to speak on our behalf.
Your attempts to formally link Anonymous to Wikileaks were misguided. We are not formally linked to Mr. Assange, to Wikileaks, or the break-off operation, Openleaks. To reiterate, we are not an organization of any kind.
You spoke of revolution as though it is necessarily a bad thing. Let us remind you that America was founded upon revolution. Furthermore, the world we live in today is the result of numerous revolutions that have occurred throughout human history – many of them being positive, and resulting in advancements for all of humanity.
You seem to imply that we are revolutionaries. We do not object to this – in fact, it pleases us.
Neither Wikieaks nor its founder have been charged with any crime in connection to any of the published leaks. Thus, we at Anonymous see any actions directed at silencing Wikileaks as an assault on our freedom of information and the freedom of those at Wikileaks to publish as they see fit.
Whether young or old, political or apolitical, moderate or hard-liner, the issue of freedom of speech and information affects us all. Please do not aspire to make the Wikileaks issue more divisive than it already is, Mr. Beck.
We embrace everyone from all walks of life, from all corners of the earth, to join us in our quest to protect and further enhance not only our rights to freedom of information and freedom of speech, but all of our human freedoms.
You are welcome to talk to us at anytime. We will answer any further questions you may have. After further dialogue, perhaps then you will see that you and we are not so different. Anonymous can be anyone, anywhere, at anytime, and that includes you and your audience as well, Mr. Beck. We simply wish to see the freedoms of all Americans and all citizens of Earth to be at the very least maintained, and wherever possible, strengthened and enhanced to their fullest extent.
Signed,
Anonymous

Earmarks Are ‘What We’re Supposed to Do’

Didn't Obama promise numerous times that he would end earmarks? Heck when he gave us the failed stimulus bill he promised that that would be the last time a bill would have those earmarks. Obama better grow some balls and tell Congress that he wont sign any bills with earmarks in them like he had promise so many times in the past.  Obama needs to start acting like a leader and keep him promises.

Washington Times reports:
Preparing for a final showdown on the massive $1.1 trillion spending bill, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid defended the thousands of earmarks in the measure as the basic function of Congress.
“That’s our job. That‘s what we’re supposed to do,” Mr. Reid, Nevada Democrat, said as he chastised fellow senators who, while having requested pork-barrel spending earlier this year, are now decrying their inclusion in the spending bill.
Mr. Reid challenged those senators to voluntarily agree to strip their own earmarks out of the bill, and said so far, nobody has taken him up on that.

Bill Ayers’ Weird Obama Conspiracy: White Supremacist Clinton Created Shadowy Characters of Rev. Wright & Others

Liberals Claims Florida School Board Shooter Was a Glenn Beck Listener

(via RadioEqualizer)   Who would have seen this one coming? So far every time the liberals have tried to pin these loons on the Tea Party it's turned out to be one of theirs. That is why I cut to the chase and just blame them. The odds are greatly in the favor of a left-wing psycho. The lefties hate it when we do to them as they have been doing unto us.

There Are Coyotes In Clinton Twp. Michigan

Last night I had 3 large coyotes in my yard. Anyone that lives in Clinton Twp. need to watch out for your small to medium sized dogs. I'm going to try and get some video of them by calling them in.

The Patriot APP

Do you remember when Bush implemented the Patriot Act? The lefties went nuts over the imagined misuses of the Patriot Act. The lefties were afraid that the Patriot Act would turn citizen against citizen and that is would give the government(Bush) the right to listen into phone calls and emails. Well those liberals couldn't have been more wrong at the time. Now that we have liberals infesting our government that has all changed. Thanks to Obama we have an even more evasive Patriot Act and Patriot APP. We are now being asked to turn in our neighbors for "suspicious behavior". At first thought I wonder what "suspicious behavior" is? Second thought is how will this effect our free speech? Third, wont this overwhelm our Department Of Homeland Security to the point that the real bad guys might get away? Fourth, where are all the liberals on this? Don't they realize that Republicans will soon have the power of this Patriot Act? This one will turn around and bite the left on the butt sooner then they think. But by that time it will be too late to bitch. I'd like to know what both the left and the right think about this real, not imagined, invasion of our privacy? Will the left stand up against this now or will they wait to blame it on Republicans?

Screenshots of the PatriotApp in action
From http://www.abcbayarea.com/: Have a suspicious neighbor you want to snitch on? There's an app for that.
A new app called the "PatriotApp" doesn't come filled with powerful quotes from our founding fathers or even a digital copy of the Constitution but instead it comes with a graphical interface that allows patriots -- of course -- to report any suspicious activity to the appropriate government agency.
See someone trying to get on a plane that looks suspicious? Click on the suspicious activity icon on the app and report the person directly to the FBI. See someone polluting down a local storm drain? You can report them to directly to the Environmental Protection Agency.
