President Obama just said that nearly half of all new HIV cases are of African-Americans. It is obvious to many on the left that this is a racist disease. I hope they find a cure for liberalism soon. It is a killer.
Nice to have you on Ken. If you look at the stats it is a gay, drug and youth disease. But I know what you mean. There will always be groups that stand out for this or that. Most mass murderers are white middle age men.
Africa is taking a pummeling. You sure never hear about any of the aid (no pun intended) that Bush (well... we taxpayers) gave to those nations hardest-hit to try to stem the tide of it though. Even U2's Bono had to grudgingly give a shout-out to W.
All Republicans are racist. They are the ones that gave blacks this disease back in the 80's. They gave it to the gays as well. And Bush didn't do one thing for the Africans so stop lieing. America sent war and disease to Africa and the Middle East. You will all go to hell for talking bad about Pres.Obama.
Chris - This is a great site as well. Link at the bottom. Look what Hillary the Idiot said. Now they are just bragging, they aren't even trying to hide it:
Hillary Clinton Tells Pakistanis “We Tax Everything That Moves” Friday, October 30, 2009, 11:51 AM Jim Hoft And, she’s proud of it… Hillary Clinton told the Pakistanis today that the democrats tax everything that moves. The Daily Times reported:
“The percentage of taxes on GDP (in Pakistan) is among the lowest in the world… We (the United States) tax everything that moves and doesn’t move, and that’s not what we see in Pakistan,” she said.
Republicans Responsible for AIDS.Another great EXAMPLE of lack of PERSONNEL RESPONSIBILITY in this COUNTRY!
With this kind of thinking The WAR on POVERTY was a ATTACK on the POOR and meant to HOLD them DOWN by Democrats who would then get the MAJORITY of the BLACK vote! OOPS wait a minute that may be TRUE!
Also I believe PRES> BUSH sent more AIDE money to AFRICA to than ANY other PRESIDENT including the PRESENT ONE!
Well, thanks for the welcome, Chris. I am a moderate and reluctant when it comes to conservatism. I am a trained mathematician, former Naval officer and currently work in a rather staunchly conservative industry. Should I dare classify myself, then I would be more a libertarian. However, practical and pragmatically I tend to be squarely in the middle, tending to be fiscally conservative (and justify government spending based on Sovereignty issues--such as, "Does the US (state) Government have a strategic interest in promoting (spending program)?" and wishing the US Government stops meddling in my personal life.
I agree with one commenter about personal responsibility. However, accountability for many is about $$$ and less about justice. I think we all would be convicted criminals if Justice be served truly. One isn't responsible if one isn't accountable.
Now if we or I could actually have a civil discussion without the nasty business of making it personal with the introduction of name calling (I am guilty too!), then I am sure I or we could broaden our own ideas with the discussions.
Ken I myself am closer to Libertarian then Republican right now. But I tend to vote Republican because I a conservative in idealogy. You might like some of my older blogs. Some are Libertarian in view. I still am not sold on the third party part. I just wish the Republicans would get more conservative on fiscal and get rid of many of the laws that are social. You are like many of the people that come here and post. I am very interested in your views on both social and political issues. If you have anything you think would make this blog better please let me know. This is our blog not mine.
AL they do go a little overboard with the names and what not. It's a shame the libs always go G-20 in the end. The Democrats seem to be getting a lot more wrong then right and that is putting a lot of stress on them. They have a hard time now that conservatives are speaking boldly.
Hey, Chris, Thanks again for your comments. Since you are about an hour ahead of me on the clock, and you asked a couple of questions in another comment, jump to my blog and send me an email, if you wouldn't mind. I don't want to clutter the blog with answers that only have half the dialog. Thanks.
Bruce - You have just proven what an idiot you are. You cannot, cannot tax yourself into prosperity. You CAN tax yourself out. We'll see exactly that under YOUR president and YOUR Congress.
Guess what other countries have high "taxes"? Communist. They take whatever they please, and if you are lucky will give back enough for you to live. I see you are all for that. Letting the government tax whatever moves and doesn't move, you are quite proud of that I see. There are a lot of reasons for Pakistan's condition, the least of which is their tax structure.
Happy Halloween, fellows, from the great Socialist State of Minnesota. (I think the trick is sometimes on me, though.) Hey Chris, try the profile and there's a "remove" portion to the address. Remove the remove portion to send me an email. Sorry about the confusion.
Happy Halloween Ken, and everyone else. Have fun taking the boys T&T'ing Chris. Don't stop by Bruce's house; he takes your kid's candy to give to the other kids who are too lazy to go out and get their own. But first he keeps some for himself.
Thank you Ken and John. I will have fun. Life with kids is so rich. I would look so stupid T&T without kids and dressing up. Last year I had a costume that blasted Obama. The lefties went nuts at some of the houses. I giggled and laught and then went on to the nexted house. The funny part was most of the blacks in my neighborhood found my outfit funny. And it was. I pray this Christmas all the libs in the world get a sense of humor. Tee hee hee.
It reminds me of the High school I went to. It was about 65% black. And there were some race issues back then. So to lighten things up a black friend of mine and I did a school skit for talent night. We did Ebony and Ivory and he was white and I was black. They went nuts with laughter and the mood changed as we made fun of what everyone else was getting cranked up about.
In a Different era Halloween was a day for kids going door to door, collecting as much as they could and then counting it when you got home. Now you have to check it out when you get home with the kids cause who knows who put what on it or in it! Halloween is just a small example of how times have changed BUT Luckily KIDS/GRANDKIDS have not. All enjoy the NIGHT!
It's no different than when the Conservatives thought it was a gay, drug, Haitian disease back in the early 80's.

ReplyDeleteIs Obama talking world-wide, or in the U.S.?

I did like that about Bush. No Obama is talking about black Americans only.

John, you do realize that Pakistan is a third world country for a reason and one of the poorest countries in the world.
ReplyDeleteIf your formula for prosperity is low taxes bring prosperity, wouldn't Pakistan be a model of economic prosperity?
Talk about shooting your shooting yourself in the foot.
