  1. That Glenn Beck is a real down to earth guy. Not like those out of touch people like Rachaiol Maddcow & Keiff Olbortman. They are as out of touch with America as our President and the Democrats in Congress.

  2. Glenn Beck is a clown and a lunatic. He does NOTHING that is credible at all.

Keith and Rachel have great sources on all the time that have actually done research or been deeply involved in the subjects they talk about.

  5. Well, you are right about one thing, Beck's ratings are better. However, that doesn't mean he's credible about anything he says.

    He's admitted he's a clown.

Keith and especially Rachel do credible research and present real news scoops, like the bill in Uganda that has been heavily influenced by U.S. Senators and The Family, that punishes homosexuality by killing gay people or imprisoning them for life and also can punish anyone that knows someone who is gay, but doesn't report them to the authorities.

Rick Warren is behind that one too, along with Sen. James Inhofe and Sen. Sam Brownback. Rachel actually had on Richard Cohen, who says he used to be gay, but he prayed it away. So, I suppose the pro-life crowd now is in favor of killing gay people along with abortion doctors.

  6. Bruce you are so full of shit your eyes are brown. No one takes you libs serious anymore because of all the liesw you have been caught telling. Keep crying wolf like the global warming/ice age freaks. And Keith and Rachael are extentions of the Democrat party. Chris did a post on the fair and ballanced networks and they were so far off the fair and ballance coverage they weren't even on the graph.

  7. Fox News Channel,as a percentage of viewers, include more selfdescribed liberals and idependents then than CNN and MSNBC includes self-descibed conservatives and independents. Pew Research Center recently studied the cable channels' viewers' politics. CNN was 51% liberal,23% independent and 18% conservative. MSNBC was 45% liberal,27% independent and 18% conservative. Fox's audience was the most ballanced with 39% conservative,33% liberal and 22% independent. Pew found out that during the last 6 weeks or the campaign, 61% off CNN's stories on McCain were negative, compaired with only 39% on Obama. On MSNBC 73% of McCain stories were negative while only 14% of Obamas stories were negative. This is the kicker, 40% of Fox News stories were negative on both McCain and Obama. Fair and Balanced. Maybe that is why Barack Hussein Obama will sit down and talk to radical dictators and not Fox News. Now we know why a terrorist isn't a terrorist and the "jobs saved" thing never gets questioned. If G.W.Bushhad supported an $800 billion stimulus package the mainstream media would have, rightfully so, asked "Why,that comes to us paying $250,000 per job". But when Fox News asked those questions it's just "Faux Noise" stiring up lies on the President. Those on the left hate the truth because they can't handle the truth. And the truth is Obama/Biden was the biggest mistake the liberals/Democrats have ever made. Who out there doesn't think Biden is one of the biggest buffoons we have ever had as a VP? You and the communist networks are full of shit you liar bruce.

  8. I see the rest of the libs aren't crying on the blogs anymore. Good I'm happy to see those idiots out of the picture and this blog. Now their is just one idiot left and all he can do is blame the Republicans. The libs have nothing now that Bush and the Republicans can't be blamed for all of their mistakes and idiotic ideas.

  9. According to former President George H.W. Bush, civility in American public discourse has worsened in recent years.

"I don't like it," the 85-year-old ex-president said shortly before civilly hosting current president Barack Obama in Texas to celebrate volunteerism. "The cables (TV) have a lot to do with it." The full text of Obama's gracious remarks at Texas A&M are now available here.

Bush said the current president is entitled to "civil treatment and intellectual honesty when it comes to critics."

But Bush told CBS Radio News the volume of presidential criticism is higher now than during his 1989-1993 term in office. "It's not just the right," Bush added. "There are plenty of people on the left."

Then he singled out two little-known and predictable talkers on MSNBC, Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann, calling them both "sick puppies." That could help their ratings.

"When our son was president," Bush stated, "they just hammered him mercilessly and I think obscenely a lot of the time. And now it's moved to a new president."

Bush said presidents have come in for tough criticism throughout U.S. history. But, he added calmly, "People ought to be civil. I worry about yelling at people and this yelling mentality that seems to accompany presidents."

  10. A couple of delicious little tidbits appear in the Thursday night (08.27.09) cable ratings.

Glenn Beck again tops out in the demo rankings, despite the strong arm “boycott” initiated by Color of Change. I sent my letters last week to the cowardly companies that responded to the thugs telling them I am boycotting them.

Secondly, Keith Olbermann is tanking. He’s #10 in total viewers and #13 in the demo, losing to Rachel Maddow and Campbell Brown.

See Newsbusters for a complete list, including total viewers.

Here are the demo rankings (ages 25-54) Nielsen TV Ratings :

    Glenn Beck — 762,000
    The O’Reilly Factor– 757,000
    Hannity –691,000
On The Record w/ Greta Van Susteren—623,000
Special Report with Bret Baier– 446,000
    Fox Report w/Shep Smith–418,000
    Larry King Live—378,000
    FOX & Friends- 357,000
    Nancy Grace – 347,000
    Anderson Cooper 360—343,000
    Campbell Brown- 337,000
    Rachel Maddow Show—279,000
    Countdown w/ K. Olbermann– 276,000
I guess Olbermann will still be claiming he is #1 in some sub-section of a sub-section of a sub-section of viewers. Nobody’s buying it.

Notice: Fox always takes the top 6 because people know the amount of fake news they put on the other stations. The progressive movement is ending fast and hard thanks to Fox news and the all the great protesters and the right wing bloggers. The right wing is taking over the blogs at one time dominated by the left. And it couldn't come soon enough for me. The libs have done too much damage as it is since they gained control of Congress 3 years ago.

  11. Bruce Becks Ratings are better cause he tells the TRUTH! There ARE Truthful Clowns and then there are LIB CLOWNS,problem being MOST of LIB Clowns are in Congress now ,BUT that WILL be Rectified in NOVEMBER!

Keith and Rachel got a SCOOP in Uganda that should help their RATINGS! Dont we have that SAME Gay Bashing going on HERE so I guess finding it in Uganda was a Scoop!

Bruce if Keith and Rachel are Fair and Balanced in your MIND seek Professional help cause your TRAIN to reality JUST FELL off the TRACKS!

  12. From August 2009:
    http://washingtonindependent.com/55249/poll-whites-southerners-republicans-few-others-trust-fox-news

An interesting poll from Daily Kos/Research 2000 asks Americans which of the three main cable news channels they watch. Some hypotheses are confirmed right away: Republicans mostly watch Fox (25 percent of them daily), Democrats mostly watch MSNBC (14 percent of them daily), and independents, who don’t particularly watch anything, mostly gravitate towards CNN.

The biggest swing region in the poll? The South. In Southern states, 46 percent of viewers say that Fox News is “extremely reliable” or “reliable.” Only 6 percent of them say that of MSNBC, compared to 26 percent who say it of CNN, a huge shift from the days when CNN was derided as the “Communist/Clinton News Network.” And non-white viewers really don’t like Fox. Only 5 percent of African-Americans, 11 percent of Hispanics, and 8 percent of other minorities consider the network reliable, while a majority of every one of those groups trusts CNN and sizable pluralities trust MSNBC.

Looks like it's white southern men that are giving Fox its ratings. What a surprise.

  17. GLENN BECK NAMED MISINFORMER OF THE YEAR
    http://mediamatters.org/research/200912210015

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETxEcWFMU1s

Glenn Beck's well of ridiculous was deep and poisonous before he launched his Fox News show, but the inauguration of the 44th president of the United States -- and the permissive cheerleading of his Fox News honchos -- uncorked the former Morning Zoo shock jock's unique brand of vitriol, stage theatrics, and hyperbolic fright, making him an easy choice for Media Matters' 2009 Misinformer of the Year.

When he wasn't calling the president a racist, portraying progressive leaders as vampires who can only be stopped by "driv[ing] a stake through the heart of the bloodsuckers," or pushing the legitimacy of seceding from the country, Beck obsessively compared Democrats in Washington to Nazis and fascists and "the early days of Adolf Hitler." He wondered, "Is this where we're headed," while showing images of Hitler, Stalin, and Lenin; decoded the secret language of Marxists; and compared the government to "heroin pushers" who were "using smiley-faced fascism to grow the nanny state."

Like his predecessor, Beck spat on scruples, frequently announcing his goal to get administration officials fired. He increasingly acted not as a media figure, but as the head of a political movement, while helping to bring fringe conspiracies of a one-world government into the national discourse.

And he all too frequently helped to set the mainstream media's agenda.

  21. Al, its good to be back. Lets face it he's a windbag and nothing but an appeal to the lowest common denominator of rightwing politics.

I can't stand Keith either. Feel like he's yelling at me. Haven't watch any Maddow yet so don't know what she's like.

You know i like the dude in Cake boss and that Tabitha lady on bravo with the salon take overs. Remind me of Chef Ramsay on the BBC america.
