From Breitbart:
Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Monday that Iran is set to deliver a "punch" that will stun world powers during this week's 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution.
"The Iranian nation, with its unity and God's grace, will punch the arrogance (Western powers) on the 22nd of Bahman (February 11) in a way that will leave them stunned," Khamenei, who is also Iran's commander-in-chief, told a gathering of air force personnel.
The country's top cleric was marking the occasion when Iran's air force gave its support to revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, a key event which led to the toppling of the US-backed shah on February 11, 1979.
His comments came as Iran said it would begin to produce higher enriched uranium from Tuesday, in defiance of Western powers trying to ensure the country's nuclear drive is peaceful. [MORE]
I've been seeing lots of reports on this, but so far no response from us. I'm wondering what is being done about it.
ReplyDeleteSo am I Mari. I know they lie a lot and do false threats to us. But this is the Ayatollah telling his military that. It would be like Obama saying he was going to do something as Commander and Chef and then did nothing. He would loose respect and maybe control of the military if nothing happened. But if he is right and they do something big then the military might be ready for blood. Isreal is the one to watch. Can Isreal depend on Obama to back them? They can't hit us but Isreal is an easy target. Isreal might strick first. We better let Iran know we mean business and ramp up some military around them. If Obama pussyfoots around these guys they will smell blood and you can welcome WWIII. Because North Korea would love to get in on the mix as well as China might take back Taiwan like they took Tabet. We might not be fighters but they still are and talking doesn't work with dictators. Talking only works with democracies.

Iran Offers Nuclear Deal
ReplyDeleteTEHRAN, Iran — The head of Iran's atomic agency said the Islamic Republic would not enrich uranium to a higher level if the West provides the fuel it needs for the Tehran research reactor.
Iran is set to start enriching its stockpile of uranium to 20 percent on Tuesday, in a move sure to antagonize Western nations who fear that the process of enrichment could eventually yield material for a nuclear weapon.
France and the U.S. said Monday the latest Iranian move left no choice but to push harder for a fourth set of U.N. Security Council sanctions to punish Iran's nuclear defiance.
Ali Akbar Salehi, a vice president as well as the head of the country's nuclear program, said the further enrichment would be unnecessary if the West found a way to provide Iran with the needed fuel.
"Whenever they provide the fuel, we will halt production of 20 percent," he told the state TV late Monday, referring to the enrichment of the country's stockpile above its current level of 3.5
Thanks Bruce. The UN better start doing the job they were made to do.
ReplyDeleteThank Goodness for the U.N. Sanctions to PUNISH Iran! I Suppose There Will Be Montering on the Ground to Ensure that This TERRORIST Country Doesnt SAY One Thing and THEN to Another! With Their STABLE Leader WHO Could DOUBT Them?
ReplyDeleteChris, How can you suggest that atleast "Iran know bush would do something" when in fact whatever they knew about Bush they kept test firing missles and enriching uranium.
ReplyDeleteNo sense in blaming Obama for failed policy by Bush.
Despite any threats from Bush or Isreal the iranians went right along doing whatever they wanted.
I Was Under the Impression the U.N. was In Charge of Sanctunes and Making SURE They Were Inforced AGANIST IRAN! Going Back Several Decades Something Should Have Been Done BUT Was Not! Its Not a Bush thing or Nobama! Isreal WILL Not Tolerate ANY Chance of these LUNATICS Getting The BOMB and Will ACT. Then We Will Hear the KNOW it ALLs Complaing about Isreal! If Isreal Thinks its THREATENED It Will ACT Period! U.N. is Irrelevant and Will Do its Normal Procedure "NOTHING"
ReplyDeleteBWAAAAHAHAHAHAHA "It's Bush's fault" BWAAHAHAHHA I love that one. It never get's old. Bush built up Isreal and he got on the UN and when the UN failed he backed up his words with a big stick. He put our military right in their backyard. He called them the Axis of Evil. Obama said he would talk to them and things would get better. In fact the left said it would be like magic when obama talks to them and changes the way the world interacts with us. BWAAAHAHAHAHA. We told you it wouldn't work and that they would ramp up things when they smell the weakness of inaction. What has obamaq done again to let the world know that if Iran follows through they will feel the wrath of the Democrat Party BWAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHA. Maybe if obama kisses the feet of the ailotollah then they will stop. Or if we give them material to make a bomb they will stop making the material to make a bomb. Bush kept Isreal in place by letting them know we are their friend and we will go to war with them. And every time Iran did nothing because they know Bush would distroy everything in that country to stop them from doing harm to our democratic friends in the middle east. Bush took a gun to a knife fight. Obama said he would take his teleprompters to a knife fight. Who whould you rather stand behind in that situation?
ReplyDeleteOur enemies are laughing at Pres.Obama. He is the weakest leader we've had since Pres.Carter. JFK was the last Democrat worth anything.
ReplyDeleteChris, Bush took a bb gun to a war..

Iran's parliament Sunday unanimously passed a resolution allowing the government to continue its uranium enrichment activities, despite recent efforts by European negotiators

Iran says it will end its suspension of uranium enrichment regardless of proposals offered by the European Union in the next round of nuclear talks.
Tehran agreed to stop all enrichment eight months ago after talks with the European Union.

Iran has informed the International Atomic Energy Agency that it plans to install 3,000 centrifuges at its facility in the central town of Natanz by late 2006, then expand to 54,000 centrifuges

What a difference a year makes. In November 2006, Iran had slightly more than 300 gas centrifuges running at its pilot uranium-enrichment plant at Natanz, approximately 200 kilometers south of Tehran. One year later, Iran has close to 3,000 centrifuges installed in a vast underground hall of the commercial-scale Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEP) at Natanz. It has also stockpiled enough of the enrichment feedstock uranium hexafluoride to produce enriched uranium, whether for nuclear energy or for nuclear weapons, for years to come. http://www.armscontrol.org/act/2007_11/Albright
2008
Iran has begun installing 6,000 centrifuges at its uranium enrichment plant in Natanz, according to its president.
Iran already has about 3,000 centrifuges operating in Natanz.

So while Bush brought his gun to a knife fight, Iran kept enriching uranium. Somehow this is all Obama's fault. In the alomst six years Iran has been enriching Uranium its because Obama was week. lol
