“We want results, not rhetoric. We want cooperation, not partisanship.”

How can the Democrats keep blaming Bush/Republicans with this kind of data?
As Obama releases his latest budget today, here’s something to think about. We’ve heard the speeches and the promises. What are the results? From House Republicans:

Republicans “Better Solutions”
And in case you haven’t heard, Republicans do have a better idea. Their “Better Solutions” document outlines the ideas they have offered over the past year to address:
  • Jobs
  • Health Care
  • Fiscal Responsibility
  • Open Government and Transparency
  • Energy
  • Savings
  • National Security
  • Financial Reform
Get your copy of “Better Solutions” here. Don't loose "Hope" yet. As more and more Americans are feeling hopeless we need to think about the future not the past. Washington is need of real "Change". And come this Nov.2010 and 2012 we need to take back America. We need to vote for real change not the retoric that the Democrats gave us. If  "Better Solutions" is the kind of change you want to see then vote for that change.

  1. Wow, this administration is EPIC FAIL. Hypocrats - EPIC FAIL. Obummer - EPIC FAIL. And now read this:

Obama's Cabinet Has Least Amount of Private-Sector Experience... Ever

    http://aconservativeteacher.blogspot.com/2010/02/obamas-cabinet-has-least-amount-of.html

Via Powerline comes this quote from Investors Business Daily that explains why the stock markets have been jittery and why economic recovery is fragile at best:

Right now, the market seems to be saying: "It's the policies, stupid." Specifically, the socialistic policies that the Obama administration keeps pushing at Americans who know that's not the way this great country was built. It isn't just the efforts to socialize medicine or nationalize the car industry or control banks or punish both consumers and industry for climate variations that have little to do with it either. It's every initiative that comes out of this White House.
It is not shocking that the Obama administration has blasted the economy. Via IBD, we can see that Obama's administration has the least amount of experience, information, and knowledge about the economy, business, job creation, investment, or anything else that happens in the private-sector. Obama himself is clueless about these things, living his whole life in a bubble of government, school, community organizing, and a brief stint in elected office, and he has chosen to surround himself by equally clueless individuals. Don't take my word for it- here is the graph:

  8. Obama's false claims taken to task

A conservative legal scholar and former member of the Federal Election Commission says President Obama made two claims in his State of the Union speech about the Supreme Court's decision in the Citizens United case that are "categorically and undeniable false."

During his address last Wednesday, the president asserted that the Supreme Court had "reversed a century of law to open the floodgates -- including foreign corporations to spend without limits in our elections."

Hans von Spakovsky, a legal scholar at The Heritage Foundation, notes that Congress did not ban independent political expenditures by corporations and labor unions until 1947 -- but for three decades after the law was passed, the Supreme Court "went out of its way" to avoid upholding its constitutionality.

He says it is also "completely wrong" for the president to claim the Supreme Court has cleared the way for "foreign corporations" to spend without limit on U.S. elections.

"There's a federal statute," explains the scholar, "that bans foreign corporations, foreign governments, foreign political parties, and foreign individuals from not only contributing money to federal candidates, but they also cannot engage in what's called 'independent political expenditures.'

"So they can't take out money to buy an ad, say, in The New York Times...supporting or opposing a candidate," he concludes.

Von Spakovsky says President Obama should know better than to make those false claims because he taught a voting rights class at the University of Chicago that covered campaign finance law.

So is President Barack Hussein Obama stupid or just a bad liar? To date Pres.Obama has been found lieing 76 times. So is he a liar or just not that sharp?

So, just to summarize, Gary Peters is a dirty filthy corrupt politician that is owned by lawyers, Big Corporations, Big Insurance, Big Pharma, and Unions. 13. Look at what a bunch of idiots this DNC is. Total MORONS, spending money on advertisements for Nelson so he could bag on the Public Option. GOD these Hypocrats are stunningly, obscenely DUMB! BWAAAHAHAHAHAHA
    --------------------
DNC Defends Spending $460k On Nelson's Anti-Public Option Ad

The Democratic National Committee is defending its decision to spend nearly $500,000 on television ads that, in the process of defending Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) for his support of health care reform, took a swipe at a public option for insurance coverage.

On Monday, Joe Sudbay of Americablog reported that the DNC had forked over $459,760.00 to the Nebraska Democratic Committee, which, in turn, used that money to sponsor television ads on Nelson's behalf. Those ads featured the Senator explaining his support for health care legislation by, in part, noting he had changed the legislation so that insurance coverage would not be "run by the government." It was a clear slight at the public plan.

A spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Jim Manley, told Ben Smith of Politico that the money was not part of the deal to get Nelson's vote. But the real question was why would the DNC pay for ads that maligned government run insurance at the same time the party was rallying behind that very proposal.

Asked about the expenditure, DNC Press Secretary Hari Sevugan sent over a statement that glosses over the question of how strongly the committee was devoted to the public option in favor of pointing out that Nelson was (then and now) under immense political pressure.

"We, the Democratic Party, were defending a Democratic senator from attacks from the health insurance industry and other special interests for his support of reform," Sevugan writes. "Senator Nelson is not the first Democrat we have defended from these attacks and he will not be the last. We've spent money directly in support of House Democrats who have supported reform in the form of TV and radio ads and we've also worked with state parties to defend Democrats like Senators Nelson, Lincoln and Dorgan who have stood up to the insurance industry in support of reform."

    -------------------
Robin Carnahan 'Disappointed' In Obama's Lack Of Fiscal Discipline

Perhaps the most telling indicator of President Barack Obama's standing in the forum of popular opinion comes when Democratic congressional candidates are forced to weigh in on his various proposals.

So it is not without significance that hours after the White House introduced its FY2011 budget proposal Democratic Senate candidate Robin Carnahan -- Missouri's Secretary of State and a figure well liked within the progressive community -- put out a statement expressing what she called her disappointment with Obama's lack of fiscal discipline.

"From where I stand here in Missouri, I'm disappointed in the President's budget recommendation. Budgets are about setting priorities and it's time Washington started making fiscal discipline and tackling the long-term budget deficit higher priorities.
"For too long, officials in Washington, including Congressman Blunt, have contributed to our country's growing deficit with their wasteful government spending, earmarks and favors for corporate special interests. In fact, as part of the Republican Congressional leadership, Congressman Blunt helped turn a $128 million surplus in 2001 into a $1.2 trillion deficit by 2009.

"Missouri families have to balance their checkbooks and our government should be no different, so I urge our elected officials in Washington on both sides of the aisle to work together to get our country's long term deficit under control."

Statements like these follow the distinctively Missouri style of politics, where budget discipline and deficit hawkery are golden traits. It's the platform on which Sen. Claire McCaskill rode into office in 2006.

But for an Obama White House that is touting the deficit reducing measures it has thrown into the budget (from discretionary spending caps, to perspective cuts in defense programs, to "restoring some balance to the tax code") comments like Carnahan's don't necessarily help.

  15. Chris, if Republicans were serious about bipartisanship and solutions they would vote with the Democrats on major legislation. Bipartisanship doesn't mean Republicans get everything they want.

Even bills that Republicans have co-sponsored, they have ended up voting against.

Republicans don't want bipartisanship. They want to use their No votes to try to win the next round of elections in November.

Republicans don't want to work with President Obama. They want to destroy him and the country along with him.

    ReplyDelete
  16. John, I went to Opensecrets.org. I don't see anything that says Gary Peters is a liar or corrupt in any way.

Most of his money comes from individuals like me, who think Gary has been doing a great job for the people of the 9th District of Michigan.

He's been bringing home jobs, working hard for the people of his district.

He's done nothing that would make it reasonable for you to use the kind of language you used in your comment.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I know Bruce if the Republicans were serious about bipartisanship they would sit down and shut up. And just do what the Democrats want. You are dumb Bruce.

    ReplyDelete
  18. No, Chris, they would come to the table, negotiate, compromise and then vote with the Democrats on major legislation.

Republicans do not negotiate in good faith.

What they essentially say is, incorporate our ideas, then they vote not anyway.

    That's not how bipartisanship works.

    ReplyDelete
  19. So Bruce is blowing up this country using our debt and the budget instead of a bomb what the Republicans need to do? Do the Republicans need to follow dumb unwanted legislation so that the Democrats can play their blame game? They just want to blame the Republicans for these bills when they go bad. It's a trap and the Republicans aint taking the bait. The Democrats own these abortions of bills they have and are trying to pass. The Democrats even included the money they will make from Cap and Trade within the $3.6 TRILLION budget. They did that when there is even more evidence that this Global Warming this is just a Progressive scam on the American people. You progressives are nothing more then social pirates. You take Billions of our $ give us back a pitance and then say it worked. Are they nuts?

  33. Hey Joey, by the way, thanks for bringing up a politician who is no longer even in his seat, like Knollenberg. Talk about a day late and a dollar short, dumbass.

By the way, here's how partisan that loser Gary Peters is, and he's a lot more partisan than Knollenberg was. So like it or not, Knollenberg worked with the Hypocrats WAY more than Peters does.

    http://mi9thgop.blogspot.com/2009/11/liberal-gary-peters-in-lock-step-with.html

Liberal Gary Peters in lock-step with Liberal Nancy Pelosi 96% of the time
Gary Peters ran for Congress promising to be an independent voice for Oakland County who stands up for his district, not for his political party.

    Well, Gary lied.

In a vote analysis conducted by The Washington Post, liberal Gary Peters was found to have voted with his party and with liberal Nancy Pelosi over 96% of the time over the last 11 months.

That puts Peters in the same company with New York's ethically-challenged Charlie Rangel, California's "Big Three Killer" Henry Waxman, Detroit's Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick and John Conyers (enough said), and Massachusetts' Barney Frank (who precipitated the mortgage-back securities meltdown).

How does he compare to all Democratic members in the House? Gary is MORE PARTISAN than the average Democratic members and MORE PARTISAN than average Republican member.

Who else is Peters more partisan than? Ironically enough, though professing to be an independent, moderate, pro-business fiscally conservative Democrat, Gary Peters has proven to be MORE PARTISAN than former Congressman Joe Knollenberg, whom Peters lambasted for supposedly voting in lock step with his party and with President George Bush.

According to The Washington Post, in his last term in Congress, Rep. Joe Knollenberg's voting record was SIGNIFICANTLY LESS PARTISAN than Gary Peters.' What's more, Knollenberg was less partisan than Peters over the course of his entire eight terms in Congress.

Peters' intensely liberal, partisan voting record isn't surprising given the fact that he was recruited, bought and paid for by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, liberal environmentalist groups, and Big Union dollars.

This year, Peters has accepted nearly HALF A MILLION DOLLARS in special interest campaign contributions from LOBBYISTS and POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEES. That’s money from unions, from trial lawyers, from health care lobbyists and from Wall Street. Peters is NOT an independent voice; he’s bought and paid for by his liberal special interest cronies. His voting record shows it.

  44. John, I'm working on a new blog too.

"The angry fucking hypocritical lies of John" that or "see john chirp out Republican boilerplate"

First off, you know i posted about how i dislike Edwards. You commented about things in the post, so stop with i might think Edwards is okay. Second, i don't think two wrongs make anything, but wrongs.

    Here's the part you ignore.

The people you voted for do the things you accuse us of doing. There's your glass houses John.

Conservatives who call liberal politicians hypocrites for doing what conservative politicians do shouldn't. (glass houses mother fucker)

:) (just so you see i am smiling)

  45. I don't give a f**k if you type a smiley face, you're one angry bitch!

Make your blog Joey, I can only assume it will be as well read as your angry rantings and ravings. ANGRY UNIONIST! I'm ANGRY because I have a good paying job and barely work for my pay, and I live in American and have it pretty damn good, but look at me, I'm ANGRY because the Constitution won't let me take from those greeeeedy mom and pop entrepreneurs and give to lazy-assed union workers. GGRRRRRRR! ;o)

Well Joey, I can only go by what you write. When I write that Peters is a corrupt SOB who gets a bunch of his money from outside the state and from Big Insurance, Big Pharma, Unions, and Trial Lawyers, you counter with some guy in some other district, as if that excuses it. So ergo Joey, two wrongs make a right, or for some reason you are trying to justify bribery. So go F yourself. :0) Or better yet, why don't you join me in calling out that dirty corrupt Gary Peters! Then YOU won't be the f**king hypocrat, claiming to be pissed about a Republican doing it but not a Hypocrat! Dumbass. Oh, I forgot, you are a Unionized Hypocrat so you are a big fan of graft and corruption.

Second, I know you voted for Edwards for VP, and I know he is a slimeball, just like all the Hypocrats. You Hypocrats know a real dirtball when you see it, and I'm really surprised you didn't push his brand of trash to be President. I guess Obummer is even slimier so that's why you went with him.

So finally Joey, I am NOT a politician, so I cannot live in that particular glass house. Once again, I can only really have any slight impact on my dirty-assed politicians with my voice and my vote. Understand? No, of course you don't. Who in the hell gave you a GED?!?! I guess anybody can get one of those nowadays, is yours out of a crackerjack box? Well Joey, I'm sorry I don't have time to teach you all about grammar and such.

    :o)

  47. Al, i'm having a blast. Not mad at all.

John's getting his asswhupped and his lunch money taken and i am having fun.

its really simple though. you can't come on, call Peters all the names he does, accuse him of all these things, accuse all Democrats of the same thing and have the people in his own party, the conservatives doing it just as bad.

    Its simply HYPOCRITICAL.

I don't buy the other bullshit deflections he offers. Perhaps you do, but perhaps in scoring from home your just being biased and chickenshit. I notice that the righties here all play along Banana style, all of em in a big yellow fucking bunch.

  49. BWAAAAAHAHAHAHA .... Joey won't join with me in denouncing corruption of all politicians. What a LOSER! BWAAAHAHAHAHAHA

How is it hypocritical Joey, when I say corruption of any politician is BAD and you say it is fine for the Hypocrats because a few Republicans do it?!?! ROFLMAO

Yeah, that's quite an ass-whooping you laid down Joey, siding with corrupted politicians like Gary Peters! BWAAAHAHAHAHA OOOOOHHHH

  50. Al, Joey is right about one thing, we're ALL getting our breakfast, lunch, AND dinner money taken by these Hypocrat tax-collectors, and do-nothing libertards like Joey are having a grand time wasting our money on their regressive schemes.

    ReplyDelete
  51. John, once again you attempt to distort the point. You claim that the nefarious insurance/lawyers/unions that BRIBE Gary Peters make him the MOST corrupt politician, when your politicians in your party are bribed as much or more than Gary Peters is.

Did you miss as much or MORE? i could say it again. AS MUCH OR MORE.

How is the Most when others have as MUCH OR MORE? Please do try to explain?

Al, couldn't sleep. Some punks stole my stuff outta my ride. Thats what i get for living in a solid McCain county.

  52. Nonsense Joey! I said "Grow up Joey, and get a grip, and weed out the corruption wherever it is you F**KING LOSER. Way to defend a corrupt Gary Peters, the dirtiest most partisan guy we have seen in the 9th District."

DIRTIEST MOST PARTISAN WE HAVE SEEN in the 9th District. Check it out for yourself dumbass! Once again I see I have to explain everything to you! BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHA ... you STUPID F**KER. You still don't denounce corruption in either party. What a corruption-loving piece of shit you are. I SAID NOTHING ABOUT IN THE WORLD, OR IN THE COUNTRY, SO GO F**K YOURSELF JOEY.

AND you are still saying that because the other party does it, it's acceptable for YOUR HYPOCRATS to be lying, corrupt pieces of shit. You're a champ Joey!
