Happy Fourth Of July My Freedom Loving Friends:Open Thread

WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN, GIVE THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?

'My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed.

Since Congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.

This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq . This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short . The United Kingdom , Spain , Bulgaria , Australia , and Poland are some of the countries listed there.

The other list contains every one not on the first list. Most of the world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war. THEN EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER It'll GO TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM SO IT WONT GO BROKE IN 20 YEARS.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hell holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine ? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France .

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home. On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.

Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France or maybe China .

I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France , and Russia . Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York.

A special note to our neighbors: Canada is on List 2. Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change.

Mexico is also on List 2. Its president and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple thousand extra tanks and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put 'em? Yep, border security.

Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now.

We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we'll be drilling for oil in Alaska -which will take care of this country's oil needs for decades to come. If you're an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there.

It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, 'darn tootin.'

Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America . It is time to eliminate homelessness in America . To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thank you guys. We owe you and we won't forget.

To the nations on List 2, a final thought : You might want to learn to speak Arabic.

God bless America .. Thank you and good night.'

If you can read this in English, thank a soldier.

(Please forward this to at least ten friends and see what happens! Let's get this to every USA computer!)

  1. There was a lot of good things in there, but towing the U.N. vehicles is my favorite.

  2. All Have A Great 4th Of July And Remember What We Have Today Was Paid For By Our Military!

Also Many Nations Have Today What OUR Military Paid For With Their Lifes And We Never Asked For Anything From These Nations But A Place To Bury OUR Dead.

  3. No!! it wouldn't because its Dumb....dumb....Dumb....extremely dumb and partisan.

    1. When did congress cut the strings to Iraq funding?

    2. Canada and many NATO countries have spent 9 years supporting our mission in Afghanistan including the 7 Bush had us there. Does the sacrifice of 150 soldiers including about a week ago count for nothing?should serving the US in one conflict but not another count for nothing?? And about IRAQ look at this.

“Ironically, the Canadians indirectly provide more support for us in Iraq than
most of those 46 countries that are fully supporting us.” U.S. Ambassador Paul
    Cellucci

    3. Germany would be part of the #2 list. We would have to immediately remove our troops form their territory and severe ties with them and China. Neither of them supported IRAQ.

    4. The US has its own history of unpaid parking tickets world wide. including countries on list #1.
Britain's Foreign Office named the United States embassy Monday as the worst offender among diplomatic missions that have racked up 36 million pounds ($54 million) in disputed traffic congestion charges.

Foreign Secretary William Hague published figures that show the U.S. owes 3.8 million pounds ($5.75 million) after declining to pay a London traffic levy 35,602 times between the introduction of the charge in February 2003 and this January.

    5. "Darn Tootin"???? WTF???? Try sounding a little dumber like that dumb chick from wasila

    6. and final objection. Anyone who tells another American to leave is being as vastly unamerican as anyone could be. Just because someone doesn't like YOUR way of thinking doesn't mean they should change or leave.

This is by far the worst example of unamerican behavior. Worse than Flag desecration etc. beucase it directly attacks the notion that all people have the right to be involved in the decision making through our electroal process and that the politicians work for all of us, not just those that think like you.

    I do like shitcanning NAFTA.
    Happy fourth.

  5. Insted of parking tickets @ the U.N. I propose we (the U.S.) remove ourselves from this corrupt entity, evict the entire body and move the headquarters to the Eiffle Tower in Paris,France.

Once that is accomplished, nuke it.

  6. Christopher I Do Agree The UN Should Be Banished From Our Shores Immediatly!

I Also Beleive OUR Troops In Germany ,Japan ,Spain Korea Should Be With Drawn Forth Wit And Placed At OUR Border.

Helping Citizens Of Foreign Nations Should Be OUR Goal NOT Supporting Corrupt Governments and The Best Way To Do That Is With Goods/Services Not Tax Payers Millions That Is NEVER Seen By The Ones Who Need It!

Joe I Also Say The Parking Tickets We OWE Should Be Paid Immediately By The Diplomats That Had The Limos Parked Illegally In London. Im Sure Some Politican Will Figure Out A Way To Put It Into A Bill As A Ear Mark Thingy!

I Do Wonder If There Was A Bill For WW2 What France England Germany and Japan Would OWE Us Compounded Semi Annually. Betta Its More Than 6 Million Dollars.

  8. you go Jim. Have at it. spread the dumb to all the dumb loving people.

But not one of you have addressed any of the issues. Do we value all the other countries efforts or just certain ones? Is Iraq more important than the home of Al Quadda and the Taliban?

Should we be mad at France, Cananda and Germany for lack of participation in Iraq when they have respectively 44, 42 and 150 casualties in Afghanistan. How many does Bulgaria have in Afghanistan: 0, and how many in Iraq 13.

In fact those three countries have more casualties in Afghanistan than any country other than the UK has in Iraq.

Yet somehow France, Germany and Canada are bad countries and Bulgaria gets a good nod.

So go ahead Jim, call me a mutt, but atleast i am not a shithead slappy who posts stupid emails without looking into them.

  9. Joe those countries came and then bailed on the UN. So no I don't value them. Joe do you only value a country in these wars by their dead only? You are so unorthadox Joe.

  10. JoeC,

You slappy shithead can you not read? It says 'open thread' so why should anyone address "your issues" as you have far too many to begin with.

  11. Chris, are you from this planet? This is all the Republicans fault. The Democrats are cleaning up what you did. Go screw yourself!!!!

  12. Well Anonymous Other Than No Courage And NO Common Sense Replying To Your Assine Comment Is Moot. Wait Till November And Screwing Will Have A Whole New Meaning To Ya!

  13. Chris, i might be unorthodox, but the real value of military help is not in cash or diplomatic support. It is putting servicemen and women in harms way. It is in the fact that your countries men and women will be seeing combat and actually supporting our missions and objectives. The more you do these things the more you will have casualties. while not directly proportional it is going to happen that way.

So yes, i put a higher value on Canada's casualty total than Bulgaria's for the simple reason that they more Sons, daughters, husbands, wives, fathers and mothers no longer coming home. that's the true cost of any war

  14. Theres Always A Cost To War Going Back To Year "ONE". Politicans Cause Wars, Military Fights Wars And When Politicans Direct War That Nation Usually Loses.

Cost Of War Has Always Been The Best Of Our Young And Bravest Citizens. Wheather The Soldier Is American Or Foreign "Numbers" Meaningless To Relatives Left Behind!

Our Brave Military Are Young VOLUNTEERs Who Serve Their Nation And When Their Killed We As Nation Lose But We Have Always Paid The Price For Freedom And As A Nation Have NEVER Conquered Another Nation.

The Nations We Defeat Japan And Germany WE Built Their Nations Back. War Is The Final Solution To Issues And Orgaizations Such As UN Are Politically Motivated And Have Proven Through Decades Irrelevant.
