Open Debate On Collective Salvation vs. Individual Salvation:

Obama has mentioned "collective salvation" numerous times in his speeches. Collective salvation is something we see in Liberation Theology but it's not in the Bible. If you want to know where Obama and Progressives are coming from and where they want to take us. Then we need to learn what drives them. I'm convinced that Obama thinks he is driving us to his idea of salvation. Obama believes that his salvation is connected to our salvation and it is his calling to save us all. There were two men next to Jesus on the cross. One thief was repentantant and believed. The other was not. Jesus forgave the believer and the other man did not take Jesus forgiveness. Did Jesus tell the repentant man he was going to hell because the other man didn't believe? One man was saved and the other was not. This is an easy way to disprove collective salvation. The Bible says there would be days and false preachers like this.

  1. It may be true what you state but this would be yet another falsehood by Hussein under the guise of religion.

Hussein is a socialist afterall and there is no romm for religion in socialism, only the state.

  2. T%hey just use religion as the mule to bring in socialism. Once they have socialism religion is kicked out. We've seen it happen every time in history. Good point Christopher.

  3. If you haven't yet, I would urge you to read Ratzinger's notes on Liberation Theology. He explains the problem really well--that those who promote Liberation Theology give old words (like "salvation") new meanings. Therein is the great struggle of this topic: Collective Salvation doesn't appear to have anything to say about the actual concept of salvation.

  5. Semmie I read Cardnal Ratzing's report on Liberation Theology. It's deep and I will need to read it again to better understand it all. What a great find and thank you for telling us about it. Joe you claim to be Liberation Theology what do you think of collective salvation? Do you believe in that part of LT?

  6. Unfortunately, Chris, I don't know much about the subject at all. I'm scouring the internet trying to learn as much as I can about it--which is how I happened upon your blog. :)

  7. I've got other post with video. And JoeC comments on this blog and he says he is aligned with that theology. I've known BLT preachers in my days of working in Detroit. It has become more common lately. I know we have Latin Liberation in some of the strip malls in Michigan. I spoke to a pastor yesterday about LT and collective salvation. He wasn't my pastor but one I met. Most "black churches" are against the watering down of the Word. And BLT is a subject that bothers most preachers especialy the black pastors. I'd love to know what you find out about what is happening in BLT.
