Egyptians Brace for Food, Gas & Money Shortages Amidst Unrest

According to Arabic-language news daily Al-Arabiya, Cairo is already facing shortages of bread and vegetables and food imports have been almost completely suspended. Meanwhile, the future is uncertain for the 70 percent of Egyptians who live on government-subsidized bread.”
CNN also reports that banks are closed and ATM machines are empty. Many gas stations are also running low on petrol:
This is looking more and more like Iran in 1979 every day.  The best thing we can do for the people of Egypt and around the world during these tumultuous times is to pray.

Florida Federal Judge Rules ‘Entire’ Health Care Law Unconstitutional

A federal judge in Florida has ruled that the president’s health care overhaul, “Obamacare,” is unconstitutional.  U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson ruled Congress overstepped its bounds by instituting the individual mandate, but also said the entire law was unconstitutional since the individual mandate is not “severable,”. He wrote...“I must reluctantly conclude that Congress exceeded the bounds of its authority in passing the Act with the individual mandate. That is not to say, of course, that Congress is without power to address the problems and inequities in our health care system. The health care market is more than one sixth of the national economy, and without doubt Congress has the power to reform and
regulate this market. That has not been disputed in this case. The principal dispute has been about how Congress chose to exercise that power here,” Vinson wrote in the 78-page ruling.
“Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire act must be declared void,” he added.
“The individual mandate applies across the board. People have no choice and there is no way to avoid it. Those who fall under the individual mandate either comply with it, or they are penalized. It is not based on an activity that they make the choice to undertake. Rather, it is based solely on citizenship and on being alive,” he wrote.                                                                                                                                                       This is more great news for Americans.  We are starting to see how unconstitutional the Democratic Party has become. The left-wing is livid over this ruling. They are livid at the Democratic Party for not having the "constitutional" public or one payer option in the bill.  If the Democrats truly wanted a public option it would have been in their. They had enough votes to pass the bill any way they wanted. Too bad for for the Democrats because their time had come and passed to have a public option instead of the nudge that will most likely come apart in the Supreme Court. The American people voted in more Republicans then ever to stop the crazy Democratic Party. Every time a state shoots down obamacare it is a nail in the Democratic Parties coffin.

I Want For The Egyptian People What I Have

I want for the Egyptian people to have their God given rights of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. I want them to have a constitution that keeps the power with the people over their government, just like I have. I want them to have freedom of speech,Internet and cell phones. Freedom of religion, were all religions can worship without fear of tyranny from another religion. I'd like to see them have the right to do what makes them happy as long as it doesn't interfere with another persons God given rights. Is there something wrong or tricky for our leaders to say this to the people of Egypt and the world? Why haven't I heard this being said by our leaders? This is a defining moment in the Middle East and the world. The people have the power. Now is the time to chose what to do with that power they have over their governments. They could give it to the Muslim Brotherhood or Hezbollah or they could keep it for themselves by writing their bill of rights and constitution. Wouldn't it be in everyone best interest for the Middle East if the people would govern themselves under a democratic republic or some other form of democracy? So why is it so hard for the worlds leaders to speak up about it? Why are they not telling the people of Egypt what their choices are? Why are we making it so easy for dictators to form in the Middle East without giving an apposing choice? Take a look at these pictures from US protests. It seems as though they are photo shopped or something. You will see why at the bottom of the page. Everyone is making a play for the power the people in Egypt have taken back from their government. Socialist,Muslim Brotherhood and other radical Muslim groups. It seems everyone wants that power over the people. The only voice I'm not hearing is the one that tells the people of the world to KEEP that power.  I'd like to see the Tea Party and the Republican Party leaders out in force for the people. I didn't include the Democratic Party in this for good reason. They want to limit the power of the people by doing things like trying to pass a law that gives the president power to shut off our Internet just like they do in the countries lead by dictators. This must be alarming to most Americans after watching how that power can be used, like in Egypt. Call your Reps.and tell them to speak out for freedom and for the people of these countries to keep the power that is currently theirs to keep or give away. And when they get their Internet back up, we need to send them a history lesson on how things turned out when they gave their power away.

A quick visit to one of the sites, AnswerCoalition.org, shows why many of the signs in the above pictures look similar. The group (A.N.S.W.E.R., or Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) not only gives instructions on how to make the placards, but also provides downloadable templates:

What Are Your Thougts On The State Of Egypt And The World?

It seems as though the state of the world is in chaos. What are your thoughts on this? How do you think the Obama administration has effected this, if at all? How do you think all these revolutions will effect us here in America, if at all? Is there anything we as a nation can help or hurt this chaos around the world and in this country? Are those protesters racist, anarchists...? Where do you think the Obama administration should stand on Egypt or should they keep parting and going to basketball games like nothing is happening around the world? These are crazy times around the world and here in this country. We need to also ask ourselves why our government wants to have the right to turn off the Internet and cell phones? Do you think our government should have the right to take away these things just like Mubarak took it away from his people? Did you know that that is still going forward? I can't think of any reason when our government should take away our internet and cell phones. Can you?

Cairo: Anger Starting to Focus on Israel, US
By Melanie Lidmans
Saturday's optimism on the streets of Cairo for imminent political change gave way to anger on Sunday, as thousands of demonstrators became increasingly frustrated with the lack of response from major world leaders, especially the US.
During the main protest on Sunday in downtown Cairo, one man painted a 20-meter long message in flowing Arabic cursive that echoed across the square: "Go Away Mubarak, you are from the Americans, and you're working for them!" Egyptians understand that the world is waiting to see if President Hosnei Mubarak falls to popular pressure before major leaders decide which side to support. But this is infuriating for the demonstrators, who realize that six days of unrest has not accomplished their goals, and they need united international pressure in order to topple Mubarak.

When Will We Start Our Demestic Oil Production?

As we are watching the Middle East become more volatile and oil prices rise it makes me wonder what we are doing about the oil and gas we need now. We have the cheapest and cleanest crude in the world and we aren't touching it. Why? We will have the need for oil for a long time, even by the hopeful government standards. Our offshore oil rigs need to start producing oil ASAP. And the government needs to start letting our inland oil rigs drilling for known oil reserves now. It's time to take another look at ANWAR as well, even if we decide not to drill there it will help lower oil futures. I know that the left is dead set on "clean energy". That's all fine and dandy but pipe dreams aren't going to fill our tanks for the next 20 or so years. We know we will need gas and oil for at least 20 years. Who knows what kind of "clean energy" will end up being the winner in the end when technology catches up with them all. I know I'm getting sick and tired of OPEC holding up by our economic balls. Canada seems to know what to do. They drill for oil everywhere and then send Michigan their trash. I'd rather drill in Michigan and fill their land with our trash. But that's just common sense. I'd also like to see Michigan and the rest of the country use our natural gas. We have more then enough under the Mid West to take care of our electric needs. Energy is our future and we keep talking about making some far off pipe dream a reality because it makes a few people happy inside. It time to take care of our economy first. When the economy comes back then we can talk about subsidising "clean energy". It's also high time that we cut subsidise for oil. Giving them enough work to cover our growing need for energy is subsidy enough. In fact we could tax them to make the left happy and to help cover our debts. Obama could also start pumping some of our oil reserves into the market. Buy cheep and sell high.  Now I know the fringe will get cranked up on "drill baby drill", but they will have money to eat and a safe country to call home, so they can protest in peace for all I care.

Where Does Obama Stand On Egypt?

It has become painfully clear that the Obama administration is inept on foreign affairs. I wondering where the Obama administration stand on the uprising in Egypt? Are they still standing with the terrorist group Hezbollah or has something changed? Maybe if he bowed to them or badmouths American foreign policy some more it will all go away? I'm still trying to figure out what Obama's foreign policy is? If you ask me he has just adopted the Bush foreign policies and added some weak groveling and submissions of American greatness. It seems that the Obama plan isn't working so well if you just look at the state of the world today. Since we don't have a clear idea of where the President stands on Egypt I'd like to know what you think he should do and where he should stand on this unraveling friend of ours? How would a strong leader act under this defining moment? Just remember what G.W.Bush's foreign policy did to his approval rating.

Social Security Fund to Be Empty by 2037. What Should We Do About It?

AP Graphic
Sick and getting sicker, Social Security will run at a deficit this year and keep on running in the red until its trust funds are drained by about 2037, congressional budget experts said Wednesday in bleaker-than-previous estimates. Congress has promised to replenish any lost revenue from the tax cut, but that's hardly good news, either, adding to the federal budget deficit. In another sobering estimate, the congressional office said government red ink this year will increase to $1.5 trillion, the most in U.S. history. We all know that SSI wont be there for my generation even though we have paid into it. Is this social justice? We need to fix this problem soon. But I don't think the Democrats or Republicans want to face those senoirs with any kind of cuts. I don't think that We The People have the guts to do the right thing and start making changes in SSI before it's too late. I don't know about you, but I think that people will get more pissed if they are given nothing so that the generation before them didn't take cuts or retired later. The government that the left trust has screwed us all by stealing our money. Let them trust the government. I'd rather trust the market. The market is sometimes wrong but the government is always wrong. What do you think we should do about SSI going bankrupt and adding to our debt?

CBO Predicts: 2011 Budget Deficit to Hit Record $1.5 Trillion

New budget estimates released Wednesday predict the government’s deficit will hit almost $1.5 trillion this year, a new record. The CBO analysis predicts the economy will grow by 3.1 percent this year, but that joblessness will remain above 9 percent this year. Dauntingly for President Obama, the nonpartisan agency estimates a nationwide unemployment rate of 8.2 percent on Election Day in 2012. The deficit is on track to beat the record of $1.4 trillion set in 2009. That figure reflected huge outlays from the Wall St. bailout. The nonpartisan budget agency predicts the deficit will drop to $1.1 trillion next year. It dwarfs the debt run up by Bush. Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad, D-ND said, “The fiscal challenge confronting us is enormous. To solve this problem, it will require real compromise and a great deal of political will,” . “We need to have both sides, Democrats and Republicans, willing to move off their fixed positions and find common ground.” Now if someone would tell the President that "freezing" spending isn't fixing anything. In fact it's just adding to the deficit. Rep. Ryan has put forth a plan to cut $100 billion from our budget and Rep. Rand Paul has tripled it to $300 billion. Even that is just a pittance compared to the massive budget. These cuts must be done. The MSM has already railed against any cuts in the budget. In fact they want to do what the President wants and double down with even more spending under the guise of "investing". The things that Obama wants to "invest" in, are the same things he said would improve our economy under the failed Stimulus Bill. He told us that the Stimulus bill would cover inferstucture. This is the most inept thing Obama could do. We can not spend our way out of this. That theory has been proven wrong already by the Stimulus bill. The Democrats had total control of our government and haven't fixed anything. Our house values keep going down and our national debt is going through the roof and then some. They told us that their actions would fix the housing crisis, keep unemployment under 8% and start paying down our debt. The facts are unemployment is still over 9% ++, our debt is going up faster then ever in history and rising by over $1 trillion a year. I ask you, what have the Democrats and President made better since they took over? Do you feel like the Democrats gave our kids their monies worth with all the debt? Does the world seem like it's in chaos or in better order now? When Obama took over he made a lot of promises of what his policies would do. Have they worked the way he said? With so many failed Progressive theories, can we afford to trust anything else these guys want to do to us? So far the conservatives have told us what would happen if we did what the Democrats wanted and they have been spot on every time so far. We have to make cuts now. That is the only way we can get out of this mess. It's our mess to clean up. For a group that is so concerned with the theory of "social justice", they sure don't care about enslaving our children with our debts. Is that "social justice"? Will be be the first generation to leave the next generation worse then we got it? At least we are giving them the best education they can get.

Sarah Palin On Obama’s State Of The Union Speech

She sure does keep the liberal media busy. The problem is the liberals rarely comment on what she is say, but instead choose to just make fun of her and go after her personally.
