‘You’re Not Understanding’: Dem Congressman Lectures Fox News Anchor on ObamaCare Waivers

Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., appeared on Fox News Wednesday morning to discuss efforts in the Senate to repeal the law when the conversation steered the question of waivers.  733 different organizations have applied and received temporary waivers from the law’s requirements from the Department of Health and Human Services. Assuring FNC’s Martha MacCallum that her characterization of the waivers was wrong, Weiner tried to explain why federal waivers to select companies and unions are a good thing:

“These are organizations — and, like you said, they run the gambit from big businesses to big union — who already have health insurance, have gone to the federal government and said, ‘Listen, our standards are high enough.’ And the federal government has agreed.
“The mythology here that this is a big government thing is… the example of how many people have been waived from the requirements is an example of that,” Weiner said.
But MacCallum challenged him, saying that everyone agrees the health care system needs reform.  But why would some companies need to be helped out of the new plan if it’s such a great plan?
“It’s not a plan,” Weiner said.  “It’s a set of standards.” So now giving exemptions to companies and unions that back the Democratic Party is the "standard"?  If I remember correctly it was the unions that said they wanted this health care reform. But now they don't want to pay for it. That makes sense if you are an idiot. Would it be fair to make the unions and big businesses pay more for the health care bill they wanted? Then why is it fair that they we have to pay for it when we didn't want it in the first place? I'm getting sick and tired of these Democrats screwing us and then telling us we just don't understand what they are doing to us. We understand and it doesn't feel good. We are a country of laws not of men. The Democrats have done everything the can to bail out unions and big business at the expense of the rest of us. I'm starting to see why the Democrats feel the need to shut down the internet. Maybe they see what is coming or what they are pushing us towards?

More Violence From The Left-Wing

A self-described Massachusetts "political activist" was arrested Monday night and charged with sending a threatening e-mail to Florida Rep. William Snyder, R-Stuart, an hour after the Arizona shooting that killed six and critically injured U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
The unsigned e-mail, sent to Snyder's state House of Representatives address on Jan. 8, told the legislator to "stop that ridiculous law if you value your and your familie's lives."
Snyder has proposed a bill cracking down on illegal immigration for Florida in a manner similar to what Arizona has done.
All it takes is a quick look at some liberal blogs and you will see what they want to do to the right-wing in this country.

Are We Now Losing The War On Terror?

Newt Gingrich: "Any honest assessment on 9/11 this year, ten years after the attacks, I think will have to conclude we are slowly losing the war," Gingrich said. "We are losing the war because madrasas are out there teaching hatred, we're losing the war because the network of terror is bigger, not smaller... We're losing the war because there's a real possibility that in a few weeks, unfortunately, Egypt will join Iran and join Lebanon and join Gaza and join the things that are happening that are extraordinarily dangerous. "

Obama Hears Egyptian Protesters But Not The Tea Party Protesters

Hundreds of thousands of protesters in Egypt take to the streets demanding change from what they perceive to be an unresponsive government. United States President, Barack Hussein Obama is so moved that he calls the President of Egypt urging Mr. Mubarak to step down from his office, perhaps immediately...and assured protesters "we hear your voices"...Think back now to the summer of 2009 when hundreds of thousands of protesters took to the streets of Washington DC and cities all across this nation to protest the Obama Healthcare Bill that was passed anyway, against the will of the majority of the American people. Did President Obama take to his all powerful, all seeing, presidential podium and say, "we hear your voices"? No, he didn't...In fact, the White House unbelievably declared that it wasn't even aware of the protest rally that received nationwide coverage in advance of the rally. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said, "I don't know who the group is." While the White House has been telling Mubarak to turn on the internet and cell phones, Obama has been working to have the power to turn our internet and cell phones off. It sounds like someone wants to be a dictator just like Mubarak,

Egyptian Foreign Ministry Says Obama's Words Inciting Violence

The Egyptian foreign ministry appears to be rejecting President Obama's call for an immediate transition from the government of President Hosni Mubarak -- and says that such calls are inciting violence.
"What foreign parties are saying about 'a period of transition beginning immediately' in Egypt is rejected," said foreign ministry spokesman Hossam Zaki, adding that such calls "inflame the internal situation in Egypt." In fact a lot of countries are blaming Obama for the fires in their streets. It will be hard for the MSM to ignore. But I'm sure they will give it a fighting chance. Things are turning south fast in the Middle East and north Africa. The EU is on fire. It seems that apologies didn't get us anything. At least he tried. It seems everything that man touches turns to flames. I'm sure the Democrats wish he was a Republican. Just like they wish they could blame the health care bill on Republicans.

Who Are The Muslim Brotherhood?

Remember as you watch the clip that the CNN anchor is interviewing a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. So it’s not as though the anchor is trying to give some “fair and balanced” counterargument in some adversarial interview. Not that that would excuse this even then:
“I’m asking about the Muslim Brotherhood, the organization that has tirelessly, and in many cases quite courageously, campaigned in elections, it has campaigned against the government, it has campaigned on behalf of the poor in Egypt. It has a long, long history in that country. What role should it have now?” If the Muslim Brotherhood take over any country in the Middle East,EU and North Africa the world will be in trouble. There are Muslims pushing for unity against the "Little Satan and Big Satan". When the people of Egypt and all the other countries under unrest get tired of fighting their govertment they may join together to blame Israel and America.  So when people are saying that Americas enemies are the honorable ones we must question their patriotism. If you have any information on the Muslim Brotherhood please comment on them. If you support the Muslim Brotherhood please tell us why?

Transcript of FAREED ZAKARIA GPS via CNN:
ZAKARIA: Mohamed, one of the visions that haunts Americans is of the Iranian revolution, where a dictator, pro-American dictator, was replaced by an even worse regime that was even more anti-American and more threatening to the region.  People worry about the Muslim Brotherhood.  Are you confident that a post-Mubarak Egypt will not give rise to some kind of Islamic fundamentalist force that will undermine the democracy of Egypt?
ELBARADEI: I’m quite confident of that, Fareed.  This is a myth that was sold by the Mubarak regime, that it’s either us, the ruthless dictators, or above (ph) them the al Qaida types.
You know, the Muslim Brotherhood has nothing to do with the Iranian model, has nothing to do with extremism, as we have seen it in Afghanistan and other places.  The Muslim Brotherhood is a religiously conservative group.  They are a minority in Egypt.  They are not a majority of the Egyptian people, but they have a lot of credibility because all the other liberal parties have been smothered for 30 years.
They are in favor of a federalist (ph) state.  They are in favor of a wording on the base of constitution that has red lines (ph) that every Egyptian has the same rights, same obligation, that the state in no way will be a state based on religion.  And I have been reaching out to them.  We need to include them.  They are part of the Egyptian society, as much as the Marxist party here.  I think this myth that has been perpetuated and sold by the regime has no – has no iota of reality.
As you know, Fareed, I’ve worked with Iranians, I’ve worked here.  There is 100 percent difference between the two societies.
ZAKARIA: If there were a democratic government with Muslim Brotherhood participation, do you believe that Egypt would still be at peace with Israel?
ELBARADEI: Of course.  I mean, I – again, the whole issue of peace in the Middle East is an issue which everybody – nobody wants to go to war, Fareed.

Egyptians Brace for Food, Gas & Money Shortages Amidst Unrest

According to Arabic-language news daily Al-Arabiya, Cairo is already facing shortages of bread and vegetables and food imports have been almost completely suspended. Meanwhile, the future is uncertain for the 70 percent of Egyptians who live on government-subsidized bread.”
CNN also reports that banks are closed and ATM machines are empty. Many gas stations are also running low on petrol:
This is looking more and more like Iran in 1979 every day.  The best thing we can do for the people of Egypt and around the world during these tumultuous times is to pray.

Florida Federal Judge Rules ‘Entire’ Health Care Law Unconstitutional

A federal judge in Florida has ruled that the president’s health care overhaul, “Obamacare,” is unconstitutional.  U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson ruled Congress overstepped its bounds by instituting the individual mandate, but also said the entire law was unconstitutional since the individual mandate is not “severable,”. He wrote...“I must reluctantly conclude that Congress exceeded the bounds of its authority in passing the Act with the individual mandate. That is not to say, of course, that Congress is without power to address the problems and inequities in our health care system. The health care market is more than one sixth of the national economy, and without doubt Congress has the power to reform and
regulate this market. That has not been disputed in this case. The principal dispute has been about how Congress chose to exercise that power here,” Vinson wrote in the 78-page ruling.
“Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire act must be declared void,” he added.
“The individual mandate applies across the board. People have no choice and there is no way to avoid it. Those who fall under the individual mandate either comply with it, or they are penalized. It is not based on an activity that they make the choice to undertake. Rather, it is based solely on citizenship and on being alive,” he wrote.                                                                                                                                                       This is more great news for Americans.  We are starting to see how unconstitutional the Democratic Party has become. The left-wing is livid over this ruling. They are livid at the Democratic Party for not having the "constitutional" public or one payer option in the bill.  If the Democrats truly wanted a public option it would have been in their. They had enough votes to pass the bill any way they wanted. Too bad for for the Democrats because their time had come and passed to have a public option instead of the nudge that will most likely come apart in the Supreme Court. The American people voted in more Republicans then ever to stop the crazy Democratic Party. Every time a state shoots down obamacare it is a nail in the Democratic Parties coffin.
