Socialist Re-distribution Of Income

baucus

Sen. Max Baucus (D): "Too often, much of late, the last couple three years the mal-distribution of income in America is gone up way too much, the wealthy are getting way, way too wealthy, and the middle income class is left behind. Wages have not kept up with increased income of the highest income in America. This legislation will have the effect of addressing that mal-distribution of income in America." The left kept saying that Congress and Obama aren't Socialists. The cat is out of the bag now. I can see if only the fringe said that Democrats are now the Socialist party. But we have Castro and Chavez saying he is one of theirs. A Socialist should know what another Socialist looks like. Call it "gaydar".lol. Since the Socialist Party thinks it's OK to take from the better off and give to the less fortunate, when will it be OK to cut the middle-man(government) out?  Hell, if Obama and the Socialist can take what they need why can't they? Should someone be able to steal food from Kroger? Is that "Social Justice". And we know that this countries laws are based in Judeo-Christian Anglo. Our democratic republic and it's constitution all come from the Bible or the Torrah. Where do the "Social Justice" Socialist base their idealogy? New Age maybe? Pagan? Do you remember when Obama said when he became president the Earth would heal and the rivers and oceans would run clean again? Could Obama be Bah or Blah the Sun god?LOL. Or does he think he is?

  1. Very distressing when these politicians and lawyers of no morals (on both sides of the aisle) think they know how to distribute anything, just because they run a good campaign to get elected. When you trust bureaucrats above yourself or others you have real mental problems. I wouldn't trust these guys with distributing the common cold, let alone trillions of taxpayer dollars.

  2. Chris, as a professed christian you should know that most "Social justice" and "liberation Theologists" are biblically based. Moreso than the laws of this land.

It is a popular fallacy within the christian conservative movement to attach strict biblical association with our founders laws, but we know that to be untrue.

and if it were true, that the Declaration was founded on biblical beliefs, why did the Texas School board shorten discussion on Thomas Jefferson as an Elightenment thinker and push John Calvin? Could it be that the delcaration and Jefferson were not as biblically attached as you propose?

finally i give you the quote of a great man, a man of the deepest belief in God, Dom Hélder Pessoa Câmara who said....

"When I feed the poor, they call me a saint, but when I ask why the poor are hungry, they call me a communist."

  3. Joe, that quote is nonsense. Nobody is calling you a communist for asking why the poor are hungry (actually, that portion doesn't even make sense. If you are too poor to afford food, of course you are hungry). People call you a communist if you come into their house and steal their hard-earned money to give to someone else. If you want to give, and encourage others to give, that is one thing. But forced charity is not right.

As I said earlier and you never responded, how would you like it if the government said you couldn't retire when you wanted to, that you had to work two or three more years to pay for someone else who maybe never worked very hard?

So, nobody is calling you a saint but I'm sure you are supporting communism when you support the state taking from honest, hard-working people to give to others.

And furthermore, we must be the only country in the world whose "poor" is suffering from an obesity epidemic. Quite the oxymoron wouldn't you agree? LOL

  4. What Bible are they reading again? Did they forget the Free Will part of giving or Thou shalt not steal part? Where in the Bible does it say it's OK to take from one man to give to another? There is a lot about free will offerings. Just think if the poor women that gave all that she had instead had Ceasars men taken it to redistribute as Ceasar wanted? Where in the Bible did Jesus take from the wealthy? The only theologies that think "Social Justice" is Biblical are Rev. Write and Obamas new pastor, and they believe in the loose belief in the Bible. In other words they don't believe in the whole Bible. They are part of the pick and choose religions. A modern day Gnastic sect. The Christian Church has had it's share of socialist idealogies. But it's hard to get past the taking of another persons property. Socialist like to piggy back on Christianity in order to further their agenda. But once the Socialist have the power they needed they kick out the Church because of fear. Communism tought us that. Just remember the left are the same people that think it is a right to kill a baby by grinding his head up till he's dead. To the left God made a mistake and they will fix it by killing these babies. Down syndrom children are being wiped out of our country because of the left.

  5. Joe the communist doesn't want to fight hunger. It wants someone else to fight hunger while communism creates it. Joe we are the most generous nation in the world. It is the conservatives that are carrying the free will giving almost 2 to 1 over the liberals. If the liberals dug as deep into their pockets as conservatives do there would be no more hunger. But the liberals want to go deeper into other peoples pockets. Just look at how much Joe Cletus Biden and Barack Hussein Obama gave to charity over the past 8 years. It's less then 2% and they are rich. It's like the UAW workers that give $1 a week out of their checks to UNICEF and act like they are big givers. I guess it's just the way they were raised.

  6. Hey Joe didn't Jefferson introduce the American Bible to public schools? I think it was but I could be wrong. Or maybe not.

  7. Feeding The Needy and The Helpless is OUR Obligation!

Feeding ,Clothing Clueless Is Not and There Lies The Problem. Citizens With Entitlement Mentality For Decades IS The Governments Fault From BOTH Side of The Aisle. Helping Make this GROUP Productive SHOULD Be OUR Goal and NOT Through Entitlements Which Keep Them Where They Are With NO Hope of Ever CHANGING There Lot in LIFE!

  8. I'm having trouble finding the passage where Jesus commands the government to take from the rich to give to the poor. I know that was a Robin Hood story, but fail to find it in the Bible. Biblical Scholar Joe should make short work of it. Joe, whaddya say, do you or Dom know chapter and verse where Jesus says charity is the dominion of the government?

Furthermore, how does charity apply to people like Joe who don't believe in God any more? If you don't believe in ANY God, then why would another person be your responsibility? Take God out of the government, and why is it the government's obligation to worry about any other person? Where does the moral authority come in Joe? The government, by stealing my property and choosing winners and losers in the free market, are morally bankrupt. To do it under the guise of "helping people" is even worse.

  9. John, that quote comes from the Archbishop of Recife and Olinda and it describes the problems the Red Bishop faced during his years.

Chris, your views on God and religion are reasons why i left the Church. You hold three or four verses that jive with your political ideology and act like the church came first when the reality is the ideology comes first and then the church.

And Chris if we took Church donations which are not charity out of the charitable donations the right would not be ahead.

  10. Joe, I didn't ask for a history lesson. I could give a crap less about Archbishop this or Dom that. Really. It doesn't make your quote any less nonsensical. Do you think you could address my points? I think I made them quite clear. Do you think it's acceptable for the government to make you work longer? Because, the more taxes they take out that is exactly what they are doing. Think about it Joe. It sure would be easier for me to help others if I had more disposable income. Poverty should not be made a comfortable thing with people getting everything they need. People should be encouraged to lift themselves up, not allowed to live in poverty. Look at Detroit sir! The model city of The Great Society. Sheesh.

  11. And Joe if we took political charity out of the left their would be nothing given from the left. So what is your point? You don't like the parts of religion that don't mesh with you liberla idealogy. You still haven't proven where in the Bible is your proof? Both John and I have ask for it and all you can say isw we are the problem with religion. That is funny. You don't sound like a very happy person Joe. Maybe you need the love of God to make you happy. Too bad you turned your back on God and the Bible so you could keep your liberal Soddham and Gamora idealogy. I pray it all works out for you in the end. Joe you used to be a Christian and I'm sure you know what it says about withholding God from children don't you?

  13. John lol, answer your points but you didn't answer mine yet? All you did is call a quote nonsense.

what about the rights removal of an American enlightenment thinker who wrote the Declaration of Independence (based on the bible says Chris) from its textbooks? Why did that if the Thinker and his writings were biblical based?

Maybe i'll get to your points after you get to mine.

  14. Well Joe, your questions were directed at Chris as I recall, I didn't really bother reading your statements because you were talking to him.

I'm not really aware of the story you are talking about. I'm sorry but I can't speak to that. I think you are talking about the promotion of Calvin in the Texas textbooks and the demotion of Jefferson? I think that's wrong to do, but again I haven't checked into anything to do with that story; I don't really know anything about it.

And I didn't just call the quote nonsense. I backed it up with my points. You RESPONDED with nonsense about the context it was said in .... well, actually all you said was something about who said it, not a very good defense I'm afraid. Do you have anything to refute why I call the quote nonsense? It's pretty straight-forward, why don't you want to address my points Joe? I think you are afraid to answer my valid points that were in direct relation to what you said. I will be happy to answer any of YOUR questions that I can Joe. Stop being a big baby and let's have a dialogue.

  15. Chris, liberation theology is a thoughtful and biblical based answer to the unchristian like acceptance to greedy free market principles.

But you like many want to use your bible to base your acceptance of such principles on a Godly claim. I was like you, but somewhere along the line i saw the actions of those like Martin Luther King, Oscar Romero, Dom Helder as a truer path.

but you wish for bible verses...

    Isaiah 61
    1.The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

    Matthew 10:34 (King James Version)
34.Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

    [Luke 1:46-53, RSV].
My soul magnifies the Lord. . . .
    He has put down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of low degree;
he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away

thus three of the major verses in this type of theology, that social unrest is biblical and that the follower of God is a vessel for transformation of the poor.

But the reality is that if a government was to become biblical based as christian rightwingers wish it, then it would have to be accepted that individual charity would not be enough, that the theocracy would be bound to governmental charity, thus redistrubution. you can not base a government on only one aspect of Christ without the others. It would be a heresy in its form if you did.

    would you like more verses???

    Ezekiel 16:49-50, RSV.
Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, surfeit of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy. They were haughty, and did abominable things before me; therefore I removed them when I saw it

    Jer. 22:13-16, RSV
    Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness, and his upper rooms by injustice;
who makes his neighbor serve him for nothing, and does not give him his wages; . . .
Did not your father eat and drink
    and do justice and righteousness?
Then it was well with him.
He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well.
Is not this to know me? says the Lord

and i leave for the rightwing and its constant need to be the new Pharisees

    Mark 12:38-40 (New International Version)
38.As he taught, Jesus said, "Watch out for the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and be greeted in the marketplaces, 39.and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. 40.They devour widows' houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. Such men will be punished most severely.

  16. Joe, you posted a lot of verses but I don't see any where Jesus says that anything beyond personal charity was to be condoned. Where does Jesus say that the government should take from those who have and distribute as they see fit? In fact, that last verse seems to warn of Hypocrats who make all these speeches about caring for the needy, but their actions reveal that their policies result in more damage than anything a "greedy" free marketplace could ever do. Or the crazy global-warming nuts hypocrites who have massive carbon footprints but feel not the slightest hint of irony that they lecture others on their carbon output. Look at Detroit Joe. That city is the direct result of urban planning by a centralized government, courtesy of "The Great Society", or whatever socialism was called at the time. That's your ideology and policy. All Democrats get elected in Detroit Joe.

And answer my points if you could sir.

  17. Joe, just refresh my memory, do you believe in God? I thought you didn't, but I don't know where I got that impression from, so I thought I would just out and out ask you.

Also, aren't you an anarchist? It just seems funny to me, that you preach civility but basically believe in mob rule. If I have it right that is. I thought at one time you said you were an anarchist.

  18. And Joe, just so you know, I'm just curious, not trying to be rude or prove a point. It's a rather personal question so don't feel like you have to answer.
