I Told You They Would Go Nuts: Pelosi On Ground Zero Mosque

Are you kidding me Pelosi? As more things come to light we are seeing how bat shit nuts these liberals are becoming. Has this women no shame? 70% of Americans disagree with the building of this Mosque so close to ground zero and yet Pelosi thinks the opposition to this Mosque being built there needs to be investigated? This statement better be clarified and Pelosi needs to say sorry for offending the families of those NY and the 70% of Americans she offended. But I'm sure the Main Stream Media will be on her side on this issue. But we are seeing into the heart of what the Democratic Party and Progressives have become. They are heartless and insensitive to anything outside their own wants.  We need to purge our government of all leaders like this POS Pelosi and Barack H. Obama whether they are Democrats or Republicans. We need to find representatives that reflect our image of America not theirs. We need to find representatives that represent our needs not theirs. If you are a liberals do you agree with Pelosi and why?

  1. Pelosi And Her Antics Are What Need To Be Investigated. When Politican Attacks Citizens For Citizens Opinions We Are Indeed On The Road To Losing OUR Freedoms. (70%) Of Citizens Disagree With Mosque Location So Lets Investigate And Find Out Why. Could It Be Common Sense?

Disagreement/Decent Have To Be Investigated Why?

The Left Is Just Going Wild Now And November Cannot Come Soon Enough. If Citizens Are Not Careful Hell Card Check For Elections Could Be Next. With This Regime Why Not?

  2. If one examines this statement closer it reveals the true nature of socialist/statist;

Controlling and intimidating to the point of criminalizing individual thought,

That in of itself is what is most disturbing and dangerous and requires extensive investigation on the part of the American electorate.

  3. "Controlling and intimidating to the point of criminalizing individual thought," if you fuckers weren't so stupid they wouldn't have to shut you up. I hear Clem Peck is getting put in jail on 8/27. I can't wait to see that:-)

  4. President Barack Obama said Wednesday he has “no regrets” about speaking out about the so-called ground zero mosque, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may have some.

CBS 2′s Marcia Kramer reports she is being roundly attacked here for what some call “un-American” remarks about those opposing the mosque.

On Wednesday Pelosi became the latest politician embroiled in the ground zero mosque controversy with what can only be regarded as eye-popping remarks.

“There is no question that there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some and I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded,” Pelosi said.

  5. Nancy Pelosi kicked off a bit of controversy on the right this morning when the news broke that she had told a local San Francisco radio station that she agreed with those calling for a look at how the groups opposing the "Ground Zero mosque" are being funded.

It was a bit unclear what she was referring to, and now her office sends over a statement from her clarifying what she meant and sort of standing by what she said:

"The freedom of religion is a Constitutional right. Where a place of worship is located is a local decision.

"I support the statement made by the Interfaith Alliance that 'We agree with the ADL that there is a need for transparency about who is funding the effort to build this Islamic center. At the same time, we should also ask who is funding the attacks against the construction of the center.'

"For all of those expressing concern about the 9/11 families, we call upon them to join us in support of the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act when Congress returns in September."

So Pelosi wants "transparency" about who is funding the center, too. As for a look at the opposition, "we should also ask who is funding the attacks" is a bit of a walkback, but not much of one. It's unclear, to me at least, exactly what this means. The attacks on the center are coming from various quarters. There are outside groups like Liz Cheney's Keep America Safe, who presumably do get their funding from somewhere, though it doesn't take much money to blast out Liz Cheney statements and to cut ominous sounding Web videos.

There are the GOP party committees, I suppose, but while they may be offering general guidance, it seems unlikely that they're directly choreographing these attacks in any meaningful sense.

Either way, Pelosi doesn't seem to be calling for some kind of government investigation into the mosque's critics, as thrilling as that would be to some on the right.

  6. There's a new argument emerging among supporters of the Ground Zero mosque. Distressed by President Obama's waffling on the issue, they're calling on former President George W. Bush to announce his support for the project, because in this case Bush understands better than Obama the connection between the war on terror and the larger question of America's relationship with Islam. It's an extraordinary change of position for commentators who long argued that Bush had done grievous harm to America's image in the Muslim world and that Obama represented a fresh start for the United States. Nevertheless, they are now seeing a different side of the former president.

"It's time for W. to weigh in," writes the New York Times' Maureen Dowd. Bush, Dowd explains, understands that "you can't have an effective war against the terrorists if it is a war on Islam." Dowd finds it "odd" that Obama seems less sure on that matter. But to set things back on the right course, she says, "W. needs to get his bullhorn back out" -- a reference to Bush's famous "the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!" speech at Ground Zero on September 14, 2001.

  7. Pelosi is starting to make Palin sound like Simone de Beauvoir. In my opinion, the Dems clearly should have made Steny Hoyer speaker.

  9. yea, Al, you found a politician who changes his mind. Like Mitt Romney for individual mandates before he was against them or pro-choice before he was pro-life.

They are all two faced. You just like your two faced liars because they lie about what you want them to lie about. Typical.

  10. Joe we at least pointed out that Romneycare was a dumb idea. You protect these politicians like you don't have a brain in your head. Why is it OK for Reid to lie and be wishy washy but not Romney? Your double standard Joe is laughable.

  11. Joe Never Said Romney Was Correct And Im Not One Of His Supporters. If All Are Two Faced Lets Change Em. Got NO Problem Replacing ANY Politican That Puts Ideaology Over Citizens And Country. How About You?

  12. Pelosi Was Mentioning "Treasure Island" Project. Beleive When I Was Stationed Out There It Was Military Installation. May Be We Should Investigate Why She is So Interested In That?

Or Lets Investigate Lefts Source Of Funding And See If All The Tees Are Crossed And I Dotted. Just My Opinion.
