These are some of the faces of our fallen hero's in the wars. When Bush was President the left wing protested the wars. They Protested Bush and not Congress for the wars even though the Democrats in Congress could have defunded the wars and ended them right then and there. But they rather play politics with our dead and living soldiers. They went so far as saying we had lost the wars when we hadn't. That must have been a moral booster for our serving soldiers. And since we got our new Democrat president they are almost non-existent. No more protest because there is no more Republicans as president. This is clearly the Democrats playing political games with the wars. I think it is high time that all those that used to protest the wars with such vigor and now barely make a peep,except to not be viewed as a hypocrite,need to tell all those soldiers they are sorry. You owe us all an apology and we are waiting for it. Maybe next time don't lie about the cause you are protesting for and just tell us it's politics.

The Left: Misogyny Apologists Under the Guise of Tolerance

The Left constantly claims the mantle of being Pro-Women’s Rights. Yet, they prove time and time again that it is lip service only. In fact, they are often either misogynists or misogyny apologists themselves, all in the name of some sort of  call for a perverted version of “diversity” and “tolerance.”
They’ve recently gone so far as to condone genital mutilation. They have defended child rape in the case of Roman Polanski.  They are silent on Iran gaining a seat on the United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women. Why? Because it’s never actually about people to them. It’s all agenda-driven, always.
The latest instance, specifically Amanda Marcotte’s defense of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ recent decision to embrace genital mutilation is beyond infuriating. It is twisted, sickening and disturbing beyond belief. How can anyone in their right mind defend such an inhumane thing? Granted, “right mind” is the operative term there, but still.
The AAP, like the UN, started referring to female genital mutilation as merely “cutting” because mutilation sounds icky and may be offensive and insensitive to other cultures. Boo hoo. I’m sorry you are offended that sane people define the acts of clitoridectomy and excision as what they are: mutilation. Now, the AAP has gone one further and said a “little nick” is a nice compromise. No big whoop! Sacrifice girls and allow a misogynistic practice to occur, all in the name of appeasement. I don’t think the girls who are barbarically maimed feel very appeased, do you?
Not so, says Marcotte! Marcotte used the standard and oh-so-lame talking point of “but what about US? We are meany pants and awful too!”  Leftists/Progressives always say “but what about US?” in an attempt to act as apologists, due to their religious fervor and zealotry for the nebulously defined “multi-culturalism.” They invent an example of a perceived American wrong, one that is usually both idiotic and utterly irrelevant to the topic at hand. And, you know, cuckoo pants.
As Jenn Q. Public pointed out in her article, Marcotte had this to say, in defense of the AAP’s decision:

And it’s not like Western culture is so free of blatantly misogynist traditions, either.  Part of me wishes that we had a two minute nicking at the doctor instead of the entire painfully misogynist wedding tradition that persists in the name of tradition.

See, pointing out true evil doesn’t fit the “progressive” meme. Instead, subjugation and misogyny must be invented out of whole cloth regarding things like marriage, but the very real—and often deadly—subjugation of women under Islamic law must be tolerated and ignored. The hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance have reached epic levels.
Oh, just a little two minute nicking, says Marcotte. It’s not like it’s as awful as getting married and sharing your life with a loving partner! I can maybe see where Marcotte is coming from, personally. As self-loathing as she is, she must feel that marriage is a horrid punishment—for the man. I’d have more to say in response to Marcotte, but it makes me feel a little cheap because it’s so easy to refute the intellectually defenseless.
The left’s lack of intellectual prowess, as well as their absolute hypocrisy was also on display in regards to the child rapist known as Roman Polanski. Here is what the founder of the Feminist Majority Foundation said about that:

“My personal thoughts are let the guy go,” said Peg Yorkin, founder of the Feminist Majority Foundation. “It’s bad a person was raped. But that was so many years ago. The guy has been through so much in his life. It’s crazy to arrest him now. Let it go.”

Just let it go, will you? He makes super cool movies and he’s all arty and stuff. And like the intellectual giant, Whoopi Goldberg said, it wasn’t like it was “rape-rape.” The Hollywood Left all gathered around Polanski, even circulating a petition demanding his release. France’s Society of Film Directors said his arrest would have “disastrous consequences for the freedom of expression.”
The freedom to express pedophilia?  Drugging and raping (yes, “rape-rape”) a 13-year-old CHILD. Who repeatedly said no. Over and over. Who was scared out of her mind, yet this “man” Polanski, continued to use and abuse her in various ways. Over and over again until he “freely expressed” his own sick enjoyment, for which he felt no remorse. He didn’t even believe he had done anything wrong. And neither does the Left, apparently.
How enlightened and cultured they are. The rape of a child is perfectly acceptable, so long as you dig the rapist’s art and his liberal thought. I suppose you all figured “Well, at least he tried not to get her pregnant. What’s a little sodomy? At least that way she wouldn’t be “punished with a baby.” Sheesh! Relax, you uncultured wingnuts! Plus, it’s not like he disagrees with Obama or wants to stop illegal immigration!”
Most recently, their silence was telling on Iran gaining a seat on the United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women. From Leftist camps, there was either silence or there was attempted down-playing of Iran’s horrific record towards women. Others, again, tried to equate women in Iran being stoned to death or lashed for immodest dress with being pro-life here.  No, really.
These are all just the latest examples that clearly show what some of us have always known.  To the Left, the truth does not matter. What matters is their dangerously naive agenda. Their need to further that agenda, along with the narratives that they have set in stone, trumps all. They will also, even in the face of overwhelming facts and reason, keep repeating the lies. Eventually, they hope, the lies will be perceived as reality.
They care more about pushing politically correct “tolerance” and “diversity” memes, including in the form of appeasement, in order to further their identity politics agenda. They care more about that than they care about actual people, particularly women. I’ve said this before, but it’s something we must remember:
This is the difficulty we face, as people who do have moral compasses. We face an opponent who has none.

Now he wants to fix the fence. Well Johnny come lately, it's better late then never. Our boarders have been left open by too many Republicans and Democrats over the decades and Obama and this Congress rather start a racial war in America rather then deal with this huge problem of ours. We gave all that money to Greece and we can't find money for a fence to protect us. This isn't a money problem but rather just another government problem. And if these politicians want to fix the problem with illegals coming into this country we better start looking at the reasons they come here in the first place. They come for the illegal drug trade between South America,Central America and North America. This means we have to look at the war on drugs in a different way because the old way isn't working even a little bit. The next thing we must do is give harsh,and I mean harsh punishment to anyone or any company that hires them.  This low wage illegal immigrant labor practise is nothing more then modern day slavery. If we make it too costly to hire an illegal, then the illegals wont have a reason to come here. And third we need immigrants,the legal kind. They are the future to our Social Security Insurance and Medicare shortfalls. We need high quality immigrants to fill positions. Because our birth rate in America is so low we need to encourage the best and the brightest to come and make a better life for themselves and their families. We need to make it so our migrant workers can come and go with proper papers and if you don't have papers then send them back. We need to make sure we are letting in the good not the bad immigrants. This is our country and it should be up to us who can become a citizen or not. Not a bunch of violent thugs rioting and the companies,unions that hire them. Since the Democratic Party has taken over they have changed us from a country of laws to a country of men. To have our president scold AZ for taking over their own protective measures,that the fed should be doing, is just putting men above law. It is a crime in this country to be here illegally and the Obama admin and the Democratic party is just trying to play politics with the lives of Americans. And it is high time we start putting the needs and wants of the states and it's people before illegals and drug dealers. Michigan and others states are looking at doing what Arizona did. I would just like to add that Arizona and Michigan need to add a punishment to the companies and people that use the illegal immigrants trade as a modern day slave trade. I know the Republicans haven't done any better then the Democratic party but it is the Democratic party that has total  control of power right now. And the Republican party if they are serious about redeeming themselves with Hispanics they better look at what the voting Hispanics want not the rioting criminal Hispanics.

Get Ready For A Volatile Ride In The Markets Today

Futures are way up due to the EU bailout that happened this weekend. There is an infusion of $1 Trillion into the European economy. If you want to see our future then watch the markets. If they are unstable and volatile then our future will be. It will also tell us what Wall St. thinks about the odds that this infusion of our money, as well as other nations, will fix the problem.  I think there will be some big gains and then a sell off and it will push investors to look at what the causes are for such volatility in the market.          My opinion is we keep looking at this as a economic problem and the only fix for that economic problems is an infusion of mass amounts of money. This isn't an economic problem in Europe or the US. This is a government problem. The governments keep spending like there is no tomorrow. And as long as they and we keep spending without fixing the problem of the liberal governments then we will be back in this mess in no time. We can't afford our on liberal government and we sure as heck can't afford to bail out yet another liberal government or entity. The Democrats that are running this country better start thinking about the US for a "Change" or we will be the ones revolting. This country has been reeling out of control since the Democratic Party took over both houses of Congress and they better get this country back on high ground before they bail out anyone else. They are making major risks to our economy by putting OUR MONEY into the hands of a failing country. Why would Obama take our hard earned money and use it to tie Greece and our economy together? Now if they fail and go under they will take us with them.

This kind of  public outcry for a revolt and violence needs to stop. The left wing media and many of the Democrats in Congress warned of the Tea Parties and the coming violence from them. The left demanded time and time again that we conservatives denounce what never happened.  We rallied by the millions without one incident while the left have a hard time just making it though one of their rallies without it getting violent. Now the left will never do what they asked us to do as they are not big enough to stand up to their own.                                                                                           I would like to take a look at why all these left wingers are calling for a revolt.  So lets take a close look at what these radicals and Obama are so upset that they are willing to destroy another property and attack innocent civilians and the police over. The Democrats are feeding the flames rather then asking for civility in this matter so it must be a grave injustice to them. This is what it all boils down to for them. They are willing to revolt over the fact that AZ made it a CRIME to be an ILLEGAL in that state. That is what this is all about. I think AZ needs to take a close look at these violent protesters and start the law from there. The legal immigrants are for this law and value our laws.  If the Republicans want the legal immigrant vote they better come up with a comprehensive plan to make legal immigration easier while making our boarders secure from the illegal immigrants. It is not enough for the Republicans to stand against these illegals but we need to stand for the legal immigrants that busted their butts to come to this country and value it unlike the thieves that came over here and took it.

Americans Blame Obama While Obama Blames Everyone But Himself

American voters are more confident that the economy will improve in the next year, but trust in major institutions continues to fall -- a slump that mirrors Pres. Obama's tumbling approval rating.

Seven in 10 voters say the economy will improve over the next 12 months, according to the new Allstate/National Journal Heartland Monitor poll, while just 27% believe the economy will worsen. But 56% of voters say they have less confidence that elected officials in DC will make good financial and economic decisions.

Voters also say they have less confidence than they did a year ago in major corporations (50% say they are less confident), investment banks (55%) and national banks (51%) to make wise fiscal decisions.

As trust in national institutions falls, so has Obama's approval rating. Just 48% approve of the job Obama is doing, while 46% disapprove, the poll shows. That's down from a 61% approval rating Obama sported in an Allstate/National Journal poll conducted in April '09.

Voters have lost faith in Obama to craft solutions to the country's economic challenges. Just 39% say they trust Obama more than GOPers in Congress, while 32% say they believe the GOP has the right ideas. That 7-point gap is down from a 29-point Obama advantage in the April '09 poll.

Only 39% of voters said they would vote to re-elect Pres. Obama if the election were held today, while 50% say they would vote for someone else. 25% of voters would definitely vote to re-elect Obama, while 37% would definitely vote for someone else.                                                                                                                                                            Change and Hope at it's best my friends.  While they keep saying that the "teabaggers" have no effect on politics we keep proving them wrong.  Now granted most of this drop isn't because of what the conservatives and Republican have done. But rather because of what the Democratic Party and Obama has done. They have gained control on parts of our lives that most Americans don't want the Federal government to have control over. And they have lost control over the things that they should have under control. But as conservatives we must keep on keeping on when it comes to sounding off about the reality of the Democratic Party. We need to treat every month like it is Nov. Because when you look back at this time in history you need to be able to say what you did about it not what you thought about it.  Now get out there and tell everyone what the Democrats are planning to do and what they have already done to the freedoms and lifestyle we once had. And don't forget to remind them that we have their "HOPE" and "Change" for the next election.

HAMPTON, Virginia — US President Barack Obama lamented Sunday that in the iPad and Xbox era, information had become a diversion that was imposing new strains on democracy, in his latest critique of modern media.
"You're coming of age in a 24/7 media environment that bombards us with all kinds of content and exposes us to all kinds of arguments, some of which don't always rank all that high on the truth meter," Obama said at Hampton University, Virginia.

"With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations, -- none of which I know how to work -- information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation," Obama said.

He bemoaned the fact that "some of the craziest claims can quickly claim traction," in the clamor of certain blogs and talk radio outlets.

"All of this is not only putting new pressures on you, it is putting new pressures on our country and on our democracy."

Obama, who uses the handful of Commencement addresses that he delivers each year to meditate on societal developments broader than the minutiae of everyday politics, warned the world was at a moment of "breathtaking change."

"We can't stop these changes... but we can adapt to them," Obama said, adding that US workers were in a battle with well-educated foreign workers.

"Education... can fortify you, as it did earlier generations, to meet the tests of your own time," he said.                                                                                                                                                       And the main problem here is that that new media that he used to get elected has now turned against him and the Democratic Party. He and the Democratic Party are Hell bent on making this a democracy instead of a democratic republic like our founding fathers had intended. But as the fed keeps going into the states back yard we are finding out how important free speech is.                                                                                                                                                                Now we know how these sneaky politicians work. So get ready for a nice sounding bill,like a jobs bill or child education bill, and in it their will be a Trojan horse that will limit our freedoms. It is their MO and when it's brought up the will call us "chicken little" or "conspiracy theorists".

Sometimes, things are not as bad as they appear.  Let's Look on The Bright Side    Harry Reid - bid for re-election doesn't look good   Obama destroyed the Clinton Political Machine - Driving a stake thru the Heart of Hillary's Presidential aspirations, something  no Republican was ever able to do.  Remember when a Hillary Presidency scared the daylights out of you?   He killed off the Kennedy Dynasty - No more Kennedys trolling Washington looking for booze and women wanting rides home. American women and freedom are safer tonight! He is destroying the Democratic Party before our eyes!        Dennis Moore had never lost a race - quit       Evan Bayh had never lost a race - quit       Byron Dorgan - had never lost a race - quit  These are just a handful of the Democrats whose political careers Obama has destroyed! By the end of 2010 dozens more will be!    In December of 2008 the Democrats were on the rise.  In the last two election cycles they had picked up 14 senate seats and 52 house seats.  The press was touting the death of the Conservative Movement and the Republican Party. In one year Obama put a stop to all of this and will probably  give the house, if not the senate back to the Republicans. He has completely exposed liberals and progressives for what they are.   Every generation seems to need to relearn the lesson on why they should never actually put liberals in charge.  He is bringing home the lesson very well!        Liberals tax, borrow and spend  - check      Liberals won't bring  themselves to protect America - check       Liberals want to take over the economy - check      Liberals think they know what is best for everyone - check        Liberals aren't happy till they are running YOUR life - check He has brought more Americans back to conservatism than anyone since Reagan.  In one year he rejuvenated the Conservative Movement and brought out to the streets millions of Freedom Loving Americans. Name me one other time in your life that you saw your friends and neighbors this interested in taking back America!   In all honesty, one year ago I was more afraid than I had ever been in my life.  Not of the economy, but of the direction our country was going.  I thought Americans had forgotten what this country was all about. My neighbors, friends, strangers proved to me that my lack of confidence of the greatness and wisdom of the American people was flat out wrong.   When the American People wake up, no smooth talking teleprompter reader can fool them!   Obama woke up these Great Americans.  Thank you Obama! So, Lets Recap  "2009".........what a year!, would you not agree?  1. The American people inaugurate a president with a total of 142 days experience as a US Senator from the most politically corrupt state (city) in America whose governors have been ousted from office.   The President's first official act is to order the close of Gitmo and make sure terrorist’s civil rights are not violated.   (Honest  mistake?)      2. The U.S. Congress rushes to confirm a black Attorney General, Eric Holder, whose law firm we later find out represents seventeen Gitmo Terrorists.  (An honest  mistake?)    3. The CIA Boss appointee, Leon Panetta, has absolutely no  experience.   4. We got the second most corrupt American woman (Pelosi is  #1) as Secretary of State; bought and paid for. (You can put lipstick on a pig, but it still stinks!)      5. We got a Tax Cheat for Treasury Secretary who did not properly file his own taxes for  12 years. (He misspoke!)      6. A Commerce Secretary nominee who withdrew due to corruption charges.   (Another honest  mistake?)      7. A Tax cheat nominee for Chief Performance Officer who withdrew under charges.    (Hmmm...Another  screw-up?)      8. A Labor Secretary nominee who withdrew under charges of unethical conduct.    (Ok, maybe this  person was just plain stupid.)      9. A Secretary HHS nominee (Daschle) who withdrew under charges of cheating on his taxes.    (I'm running out of excuses for these idiots!!)      10. Multiple appointments of former lobbyists after an absolute campaign statement that no lobbyists would be appointed. ( I am getting a headache!)      All this occurred just during the first three weeks. . . But who's counting?     America is being run by the modern-day Three Stooges; Barry, Nancy and Harry and they are still trying to define stimulus..."it's spending!!!"     The congress passes the $800,000,000,000 (that's $800  billion) pork-loaded spending bill where the government gives you a smidgen  of your tax dollars ($13 per week), making you feel so good about yourself [stimulated], that you want to run out to Wal-Mart and buy a new Chinese-made HDTV!      Here's the good news though - Obama took Air Force One to Denver to sign the stimulus package, wasting as much as 10,000 gallons of fuel OR 24 JOBS FOR ONE YEAR.   Obama went to the International Olympic Committee to have them choose Chicago for a host city - he failed Obama went to  Copenhagen to lecture them on global warming - he  failed Obama went to New  Jersey to promote the Democratic candidate for governor - he failed Obama went to Virginia to promote the Democratic candidate for governor - he failed Obama went to   Massachusetts to promote the Democratic candidate for senator -  he failed Obama has now been president for a full year and yet he & wife (first lady) Michelle, the Christian family they claim to be, have not attended church since the inauguration.     Obama  is the 1st president in history who did not attend any Christmas religious observance. He must miss Reverend Wright!   And finally, he is the 1st president to remain on vacation after a terrorist attack ( Ft. Hood). In these times,  'I'll keep my God, my freedom, my gun and my money.  Anyone who supports this insanity can keep "THE CHANGE".
