What If Herman Cain Ran For President? Would The Media Call Him a "Racist Teabagger"?

At a recent Tea-Party event in Florida, Cain explained that he‘s itching for a chance to prove that there can be a black president that isn’t a “dud.” To prove his firework capability, he delivered a theory as to why the liberal media is ignoring him:
“The liberal mainstream media, notice how they have tried to destroy Sarah Palin, notice how the more popular Michele Bachmann gets, the more they try to destroy her? You want to know why they go after those two ladies more viciously? Because they know that Michele Bachmann or Sarah Palin is going to draw a lot of the women vote away from the Democrat party. They are scared to death of that if they were to run and get the nomination. They are doubly scared that a real black man might run against Barack Obama.”
Shark-Tank.net has the clip (via Weasel Zippers). The relevant comments come around 3:00 below:
If Cain does get the Republican nomination the left-wing and the MSM will become catatonic. But in the end they will call Cain a racist, baby killer even if it doesn't make a lick of sense. I would however like to watch them try their racist acrobats in typical left-wing fashion.

  1. Chris,
Cain's not going to get nominated so we won't ever know will we? I don't believe that the Party leadership wants him and they will push hard to move their guy forward whoever that may be but it won't be Cain.

I'm impressed that you KNOW what will happen, if he gets the nomination. How come you don't know if he gets the nomination?

  2. To early to tell whether he'll get the nod for the Rep ticket, but I like what I hear from him already.
But the Liberal media will attack him during the primary and I am sure the likes of the NBPP will call him an 'Uncle Tombagger'.
Will that catch on with the liberals... probably.

  4. Can i ask this though?

If a black liberal is racist for putting down another black man, isn't Cain racist for referring to himself as a Real Black Man and insinuating that Obama is not? WTF is a real Black Man anyways?

And doesn't that go against all your posts about how the Tea Party doesn't see color of the skin. You've mentioned it a few times, how its all about the color of a persons skin with us liberals and then you post something like this? WTF? If the TEA PARTY is about content of character why does Herman Cain make such a huge deal of his skin color? He talks about it almost ever speech i see; black this, black that, a real black......and on and on. I get it Herman your a black guy, but perhaps your base is mostly blind people and they don't.

And to me his "I'm going to stick it to the man" stories are just a right wing variation on the victimized disease. I love how conservative black men play the victim while they accuse liberal black men of a victimization and entitlement.

And i'm certainly not scared of Palin and Bachman because their women. Its because their completely batshit crazy.

  5. RE: Joe,,,

"If a black liberal is racist for putting down another black man, isn't Cain racist for referring to himself as a Real Black Man"

    That is a multiple-part question/answer;

    1) If a black person of any political persuasion calls another black person a racist, well that is deemed stupid, ignorant does not work here as they as group that liberals deem them know better. Racism is between two DIFFERENT races, not the same race.

    2) Being Cain is black why would you forward the thought he is racist? In stating such even though it is obvious he is black you really sound moonbat! If you are white or black or in between, when you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror do YOU deny what is in the reflection?

Your whole comment is based on racism within yourself, hyperbole and "The Straw man".

I believe you are capable of critical thought, I really do, but wish that you exercise it.

  6. CP,
If you wish to rebut my points to Chris, it might be worth it to understand the context of them.

    1. I was referring to Chris's post, "More Left-Wing Racism. You Wont Guess Who Is Calling Obama a N-Word?" which is about a Black man calling Obama another Blackman a racially offensive name. So correctly i asked Chris in context if the NBPP and Black liberals are racist for doing that wouldn't Herman Cain be considered a racist for considering himself a real black man?

    2. Please see number 1. I am only comparing Cains words to Chris's dislike of similar antics by the NBPP.

    3. In multiple posts Chris has criticized the left for what he considers (and isn't in reality) widespread us of the term, Uncle Tom as an attack on black republicans. Then you have him praising Herman Cain who goes on to make a distinction that is similar in concept to "Uncle tom" that "a real black man might run against Barack Obama.” Isn't that conceptually similar to "uncle tom"? they both perpetuate a myth of what "Real" black men are and that someone else isn't?

    4. Finally i go after Chris because in multiple posts Chris has accused me of racism for acknowledging skin color. He suggests that Republicans don't see skin color and yet he posts Herman Cain who is doing nothing but continually referring to skin color. in the 5 or six speeches I've read by Cain, he says black man quite a few times about himself. Its obvious he's drawing attention to his skin color, when Chris repeatedly points to content of character as what things should be about.

See i have no problem with Cain being black or any other color. I voted for a black president or mixed race if you want to be technical. I don't care that Bachman or Palin are women. the problem lies in that liberals and I are called racists and bigots by Chris for things Herman Cain himself does and Chris praises him.

Seems a little disjointed to me, not to mention hypocritical.
