'Mom's Gone Crazy:' 4 Killed In Seattle Shooting

Neighbors look on at the scene of a shooting that left four people dead and another... (AP Photo/Elaine Thompson)  It seems like almost every day I'm reading a story about someone killing themselves and taking their family with them. The number of people falling on desperate and depressing times is raising. These people that feel that they have lost all hope to the point of suicide are people no different then you and I. "Only by the grace of God go I" do you remember that saying? It's true. Who knows what brings people to the point of killing themselves or other. These are hard times for all Americans and we need to be vigilant in caring for our fellow man/women. If you could please take the time today to think of people that seem like times are getting overwhelming for them. Take your mind off yourself and your problems for just a moment and think of some people that might be having a hard time of things. Once you have some people in mind let them know that you care and that they are not alone. Just reach out to people and listen to them. You'll never know if you 'saved' them but you will know that you effected them in their life. We can make things better with just a loving, "how are you doing" and mean it. Just taking the time to notice them may be all it takes. And if someone tells you they are depressed or suicidal believe them and get them the help they need. It only takes a moment to save another persons life. And don't forget to pray for all those suffering in these hard times. May God bless you all and I pray all is well with you and yours. If you need us on this blog to pray for anyone please let us know.

This Is The UAW I Remember

(AP) — Chrysler says it has suspended some plant workers caught by a Detroit television station drinking alcohol and smoking what appeared to be marijuana during breaks.
Chrysler manufacturing chief Scott Garberding told WJBK-TV in a report that aired Wednesday night that the automaker has identified some of the workers.
WJBK said it received a tip from a worker at Chrysler’s Jefferson North plant and followed about a dozen men for 10 days during their lunch breaks. It filmed them going to a convenience store to buy alcohol and taking it to a nearby park to drink and smoke.
Garberding says the workers’ “behavior is totally unacceptable.” The United Auto Workers said it strongly opposes the use of alcohol or controlled substances on the job.

This has become what the unions are all about. The best part is these union members will not get fired. They will get saved by the union and we the tax payers will bail them out again. It's time that the unions throw workers like this out the door instead of getting them payed leaves.

Democrats Pledge To America

SPEND SPEND SPEND, your money like there is no tomorrow. They will promise things they can't deliver. They will obligate your children to a life of servitude to pay off our debts. They will bow to our enemies and the unions. They will go after the businesses that create jobs like they are an enemy of the state. They will treat our friendly nations as a 'red headed step child'. They will print money faster then ever in our history and they will hide our full debts. They will raise taxes while growing government. They will screw you over in order to give more to the uber-wealth Soros' and unions. If you like class warfare then vote for the Democratic Party. And if you make over $45,000 a year then you are too rich to vote for this party of "spread the wealth".
The DemRapidResponse team calls their’s “Same Old Agenda:”

The House Majority Whip James Clyburn was even more blunt:

'Pledge to America' Unveiled by Republicans (Full Text)

Republican 'Pledge to America':

CBS News has obtained a final draft of House Republicans' legislative agenda for the next Congress, a 21-page "Pledge to America" that they will formally unveil Thursday morning at a Virginia hardware store.

"The need for urgent action to repair our economy and reclaim our government for the people cannot be overstated," the introduction says.

It continues: "With this document, we pledge to dedicate ourselves to the task of reconnecting our highest aspirations to the permanent truths of our founding by keeping faith with the values our nation was founded on, the principles we stand for, and the priorities of our people. This is our Pledge to America."

Below are some highlights, and the full document is at the bottom.

Jobs:
- Stop job-killing tax hikes
- Allow small businesses to take a tax deduction equal to 20 percent of their income
- Require congressional approval for any new federal regulation that would add to the deficit
- Repeal small business mandates in the new health care law.

Cutting Spending:
- Repeal and Replace health care
- Roll back non-discretionary spending to 2008 levels before TARP and stimulus (will save $100 billion in first year alone)
- Establish strict budget caps to limit federal spending going forward
- Cancel all future TARP payments and reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

Reforming Congress:
- Will require that every bill have a citation of constitutional authority
- Give members at least 3 days to read bills before a vote

Defense:
- Provide resources to troops
- Fund missile defense
- Enforce sanctions in Iran

Tell the Truth

HOT VIDEO:

Now WE THE PEOPLE know better and the truth is coming out without the help of the MSM. It's about time someone like the MRC tells the truth that the MSM and Washington wont tell us. It's time WE THE PEOPLE take back what Washington has taken from us. It's time we have control to engineer our own lives instead of letting Washington do it for us. It's time we get up off our duff's and fight for what is ours.
And the only way we can do that is with our votes. We need to push all Progressives out. That includes the RINO's in Washington and local politics. I'd like to see the choices be between a libertarian candidate and a conservative candidate instead of the Progressive and Progressive-light candidates we have been getting. We are moving closer to this but it is still the beginning. We need to control who represents us not the (D) or (R) pick who we should vote for. We sent a message to the (R) party the last couple elections and they seem to have gotten the message that WE THE PEOPLE will abandon the (R) if they abandon conservative principles. It's time the old school (D) voters do the same to their party or risk loosing their party for good. I don't understand why the Democrats are so attached to a name when the principles are nothing like the principles of the old Democratic Party.

Waiting For Superman: Why Does Our Education Suck In America

If you value the future of this country then you value education. It's a shame that the Democratic Party has put the power of the many teachers unions above our future. But it is evident that the Democratic Party only cares about the unions and the backing of those unions. If you care about our children and the future of this once great nation then it is up to you to not vote for the party that puts our children's future below the unions. I'm not saying that the Republican Party has all the right answers but at least they don't put the teachers unions about the students. It's time we introduce a private option when it comes to education. If we don't do something soon then how can we expect those children to pay off our debt? Let's give our children a leg up in the world instead of holding them back. What do you think we should do to fix education?

Is Sarah Palin Going To Run In 2012?

Sarah Palin’s keynote speech at the Reagan Dinner in Iowa has set off the left and the MSM as to weather she will be running against President Obama in 2012. It sure does look like she is going to run, but who isn't? I would like to see what kind of interest Palin will bring to the conservative movement. All I know is that she sets off the left like no one else. But the left tend to not hold back when it comes to attacking conservative women. I'm sure the Democrats will over step their 'politically correct" bounds when dealing with her and that will put a bad taste in the mouth of most women voters. We will see what the Democratic Party really thinks of women if she chooses to run in 2012. All you women are you ready to watch what kind of hell the Democratic Party will unleash on this poor women? Just remember what the Democratic Party did to Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin the last election. Let's see how low they will go in their sexist treatment of these women again in 2012. I wish them both luck and Gods speed in their indevor. She will make things interesting win or loose.

Disillusioned Obama Supporter: 'I'm Exhausted of Defending You'

I know a lot of Obama/Democratic Party voters that feel the same way as this women. I know technically we have been out of the recession for 18 months now but it doesn't feel like it. All the money the government has indebted us with to get us out of the recession has only 'technically' ended the recession. It's done a great deal for the many unions that organize and fund the Democratic Party and Big Business that employes the unions. If you are a union member I wouldn't blame you for voting Democrat. Now for all those non-union employees and small business owners that are feeling all the pain of this recession it's time you do what is best for you and not vote for the Democratic Party. If you want higher taxes and bigger Big Brother then vote for the Democratic Party. If you want to punish the businesses that give you employment then vote for the Democratic Party. If you want to stick the next generation with higher debt and deficit spending then vote for the Democratic Party. If you think Christine O'Donnell's admission to "dabbling in witch craft" is worse then Obama's dabbling in cocaine,Islam,Black Liberation Theology and all the other questionable things he did in the past when he was an adult. Then vote for the Democratic Party. If you don't respect the 9/11 families feelings on the ground zero mosque then vote for the Democratic Party.  If you think obamacare, cap and trade, stimulus 1,2,3 and 4 are good for America then vote for the Democratic Party. But if you don't like these things then you better get over your prejudice when it comes to voting for the Republican Party for then next few years or you will get what you voted for. We know what the Democratic Party has become and we know what the Republican Party has become and it's high time we stop defending the Democratic Party when they don't defend us. Things are not over for the middle class and the average American citizen. People are in pain and they are losing hope for a better tomorrow. There are only 2 Party choices and it's time you vote for the choices that best reflect your views and not a Party line.

WASHINGTON — It was billed as “Investing In America,” a live televised conversation between President Obama and American workers, students, business people and retirees on the state of the economy, a kind of Wall Street to Main Street reality check.

But it sounded like a therapy session for disillusioned Obama supporters.

In question after question in Monday’s one-hour session, which took place at the Newseum here and was televised on CNBC, Mr. Obama was confronted by people who said, in short, that they had expected more from him. People from Main Street wanted to know if the American dream still lived for them. People from Wall Street complained that he was treating them like a piƱata, “whacking us with the stick,” in the words of a former law school classmate of Mr. Obama’s who now runs a hedge fund.

“I’m exhausted of defending you, defending your administration, defending the mantle of change that I voted for,” said the first questioner, an African-American woman who identified herself as a chief financial officer, a mother and a military veteran. “I’ve been told that I voted for a man who was going to change things in a meaningful way for the middle class, and I’m waiting, sir, I’m waiting. I still don’t feel it yet.”

A 30-year-old law school graduate, Ted Brassfield, told Mr. Obama he had hoped to pursue a career in public service — like the president — but could barely pay the interest on his student loans, let alone think of getting married or starting a family.

“I was really inspired by you and your campaign and the message you brought, and that inspiration is dying away,” Mr. Brassfield said, adding, “What I really want to know is: Is the American dream dead for me?”

And a third-generation business owner from Pennsylvania, Walter Allen, told Mr. Obama that his biggest challenge as an entrepreneur was a fearful, negative public. “How can you regain the political center?” Mr. Allen asked plaintively. “You’re losing the war of sound bites. You’re losing the media cycles.”
The extraordinarily personal tone of Monday’s conversation, coupled with more substantive policy questions from the session’s host, John Harwood of CNBC and The New York Times, reflects the erosion of support for Mr. Obama among the constituencies that propelled him into office two years ago.

As he leads his party into a midterm election that many analysts expect to be devastating for Democrats, the president faces overwhelming skepticism from Americans on his handling of the economy. A recent New York Times poll found that 57 percent of respondents believed that the president did not have a clear plan for fixing the nation’s broken economy.

Mr. Obama sought on Monday to address those concerns, telling his business critics that he was not anti-Wall Street and his middle-class questioners that “there are a whole host of things we’ve put in place to make your life better.” He cited his administration’s health care overhaul bill; a financial regulatory reform measure that imposes tougher requirements on credit card companies; and an education bill that makes student loans more widely available.

The president also laid down a challenge to the Tea Party movement, whose candidates have been defeating more mainstream Republicans in a string of recent primaries in Alaska, Delaware and other states. He said it was not enough for Tea Party candidates to campaign on a theme of smaller government; he tried to put them in an uncomfortable box by prodding them to offer specifics about just what programs they would cut.

“The challenge for the Tea Party movement is to identify specifically: What would you do?” the president said. “It’s not enough to say ‘get control of spending.’ I think its important for you to say, ‘I’m willing to cut veterans’ benefits,’ or ‘I’m willing to cut Medicare or Social Security,’ or ‘I’m willing to see taxes go up.’ ”
Mr. Obama hinted that he was open to considering a payroll-tax holiday to spur job growth, saying he would be willing to “look at any idea that’s out there. ” But he went on to say that some ideas that “look good on paper” are more complicated then they appear. And he ducked a question from Mr. Harwood about whether he would be willing to debate the House Republican leader, Representative John A. Boehner of Ohio, the way President Bill Clinton debated Newt Gingrich, then speaker of the House, 15 years ago.
