Where Does Obama Stand On Egypt?

It has become painfully clear that the Obama administration is inept on foreign affairs. I wondering where the Obama administration stand on the uprising in Egypt? Are they still standing with the terrorist group Hezbollah or has something changed? Maybe if he bowed to them or badmouths American foreign policy some more it will all go away? I'm still trying to figure out what Obama's foreign policy is? If you ask me he has just adopted the Bush foreign policies and added some weak groveling and submissions of American greatness. It seems that the Obama plan isn't working so well if you just look at the state of the world today. Since we don't have a clear idea of where the President stands on Egypt I'd like to know what you think he should do and where he should stand on this unraveling friend of ours? How would a strong leader act under this defining moment? Just remember what G.W.Bush's foreign policy did to his approval rating.

Social Security Fund to Be Empty by 2037. What Should We Do About It?

AP Graphic
Sick and getting sicker, Social Security will run at a deficit this year and keep on running in the red until its trust funds are drained by about 2037, congressional budget experts said Wednesday in bleaker-than-previous estimates. Congress has promised to replenish any lost revenue from the tax cut, but that's hardly good news, either, adding to the federal budget deficit. In another sobering estimate, the congressional office said government red ink this year will increase to $1.5 trillion, the most in U.S. history. We all know that SSI wont be there for my generation even though we have paid into it. Is this social justice? We need to fix this problem soon. But I don't think the Democrats or Republicans want to face those senoirs with any kind of cuts. I don't think that We The People have the guts to do the right thing and start making changes in SSI before it's too late. I don't know about you, but I think that people will get more pissed if they are given nothing so that the generation before them didn't take cuts or retired later. The government that the left trust has screwed us all by stealing our money. Let them trust the government. I'd rather trust the market. The market is sometimes wrong but the government is always wrong. What do you think we should do about SSI going bankrupt and adding to our debt?

CBO Predicts: 2011 Budget Deficit to Hit Record $1.5 Trillion

New budget estimates released Wednesday predict the government’s deficit will hit almost $1.5 trillion this year, a new record. The CBO analysis predicts the economy will grow by 3.1 percent this year, but that joblessness will remain above 9 percent this year. Dauntingly for President Obama, the nonpartisan agency estimates a nationwide unemployment rate of 8.2 percent on Election Day in 2012. The deficit is on track to beat the record of $1.4 trillion set in 2009. That figure reflected huge outlays from the Wall St. bailout. The nonpartisan budget agency predicts the deficit will drop to $1.1 trillion next year. It dwarfs the debt run up by Bush. Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad, D-ND said, “The fiscal challenge confronting us is enormous. To solve this problem, it will require real compromise and a great deal of political will,” . “We need to have both sides, Democrats and Republicans, willing to move off their fixed positions and find common ground.” Now if someone would tell the President that "freezing" spending isn't fixing anything. In fact it's just adding to the deficit. Rep. Ryan has put forth a plan to cut $100 billion from our budget and Rep. Rand Paul has tripled it to $300 billion. Even that is just a pittance compared to the massive budget. These cuts must be done. The MSM has already railed against any cuts in the budget. In fact they want to do what the President wants and double down with even more spending under the guise of "investing". The things that Obama wants to "invest" in, are the same things he said would improve our economy under the failed Stimulus Bill. He told us that the Stimulus bill would cover inferstucture. This is the most inept thing Obama could do. We can not spend our way out of this. That theory has been proven wrong already by the Stimulus bill. The Democrats had total control of our government and haven't fixed anything. Our house values keep going down and our national debt is going through the roof and then some. They told us that their actions would fix the housing crisis, keep unemployment under 8% and start paying down our debt. The facts are unemployment is still over 9% ++, our debt is going up faster then ever in history and rising by over $1 trillion a year. I ask you, what have the Democrats and President made better since they took over? Do you feel like the Democrats gave our kids their monies worth with all the debt? Does the world seem like it's in chaos or in better order now? When Obama took over he made a lot of promises of what his policies would do. Have they worked the way he said? With so many failed Progressive theories, can we afford to trust anything else these guys want to do to us? So far the conservatives have told us what would happen if we did what the Democrats wanted and they have been spot on every time so far. We have to make cuts now. That is the only way we can get out of this mess. It's our mess to clean up. For a group that is so concerned with the theory of "social justice", they sure don't care about enslaving our children with our debts. Is that "social justice"? Will be be the first generation to leave the next generation worse then we got it? At least we are giving them the best education they can get.

Sarah Palin On Obama’s State Of The Union Speech

She sure does keep the liberal media busy. The problem is the liberals rarely comment on what she is say, but instead choose to just make fun of her and go after her personally.

What Are Your Thoughts On The State Of The Union Address?

"No more pork" again, keep on  spending, "investing" in unions... I have to say that after Obama started talking about "no more pork" I couldn't hear what he said because I was laughing so hard. And putting the car(budget) in neutral when it is going off a cliff at over $1 trillion a year isn't saying much either. But other then that it was a great speech. As both sides have learned to not listen to Obama's words, but watch his actions, we will see what happens. This should help you know the facts about spending and jobs created. The government does not create jobs, the private sector does. And it is the private sector the Democrats go after to get the money for the government to spend, through raising taxes. The Democrats just can't help themselves when it come to spending our money. Take a look at the responses from Bachmann and Ryan

Gas Hit Record High For January At $3.11. What Should We Do About It?

We all know that gas price is a major factor in our future economic recovery. It effects every aspect of our lives from food prices, plastics and just going from point A to B. This new record high for January is big news, but you wouldn't know it if you read the paper or watch the news. See demand is low right now because of this long recession in America. Obama must fix this now or we will not have a recovery. It does seem fitting that Obama stopped our domestic drilling, causing gas prices and speculating to go higher. This time it might not be a bubble like it was when it went to $4 for that short time. If Obama would open us up to more domestic drilling it would start dropping gas and oil prices down immediately. That's the good side of commodities speculating, it works both ways. Even just a strong debate among our leaders would cause speculators to bail out. It's what they do. And that debate has to start now if Obama ever has a hope of getting re-elected in 2012. Obama needs to first undo what he did with the Gulf oil embargo. Next he needs to make it up to our domestic oil producers by letting them produce more of our countries oil. It isn't doing anyone any good sitting under the ground. We also have a chance of loosing it if we don't take it, slant drilling. We all know that this wont end well for the Democratic Party if they, as Obama said..."this will necessarily make our energy prices go up".  I'd like to know what you think about the price of gas,oil and how we should fix it? The price of oil is over $100 per barrel. The worlds economy and our own is based on cheep energy. Whether you like it or not our economy is driven by the price of oil. And we have put too much of our economy in the hands of other nations to control. We need to get out of the grip of our debtor nations and OPEC.

What Do You Think About Obama Reinventing Himself As Pro-Busniness?

Is this a good move for Obama? Do you think that the right-wing will believe that he is pro-business now? I don't think this new outlook is meant for the right-wing. And if it's pro-business then we all can agree that he isn't doing it for the left-wings benefit either. Obama has lost the center of the country and this is how he plans on gaining them back. The problem is I don't think the center will just take his word for it anymore. You know "once bitten twice shy". People have heard more then enough from this president. They want to see actions that match his rhetoric. Do you think that Obama could be alienating his far-left base by changing from anti-business to pro-business? How do you think he will use the Republicans and Democrats in Congress to get some pro-business legislation?

What would you like to see Congress handle next?

Would you like to see the Republicans in Congress free up our oil drilling, so we can drop oil prices? Would you like to see Congress press for more spending and debt like the Democrats want or would you like to see Congress cut spending by as much as $2 trillion like some Republicans have brought forth? Is closing the borders important to you or would you like an open border? Should they look into going after free speech or higher taxes on energy to help with 'global warming'?  Should Congress look at raising taxes or lowering taxes? Or should the Republicans do a blitzkrieg of conservative bills, just like the Democrats did when they were in charge? It's your chance to write the posts. And after you write and read the posts, don't forget to call your Congressperson and tell them what you'd like to see them do. I'd like to know what all sides think about the coarse of this Congress.

Congress Repealed The Jobs Killing Health Care Bill

This is great news for conservatives,Republicans and Tea Partiers. I'd like to know what your thoughts are on this great news? Do you think it has a chance in the
Senate? How do you think the liberals will handle this news?
