GOP Has Some Strong Candidates Running For President

Here are some of the best moments in the Iowa debates. The Bible tells wives to be submissive to their husbands. If she were president, would that apply to Michele Bachmann?
The question by conservative columnist Byron York drew boos from the audience.

The crowd sure was rambunctious last night. It was the most energetic GOP debate I've ever seen. My favorites were Bachmann,Cain and Ron Paul. I'd like to know what you thought of the candidates?

  • A Democratic National Committee memo which paints the Republican field of presidential contenders as Tea Party flaks pushing tired, divisive policies which elevate the rich and predicts much of the same at tonight's Fox News co-hosted debate in Ames, Iowa.

"As we expect to see tonight, the GOP candidates' extreme aims to appease the far-right wing of the Republican Party shows that Republicans are more concerned with protecting their special interest friends and the wealthy than protecting working families," the memo, penned by DNC National Press Secretary Melanie Roussell, reads.

"The GOP would rather seniors and the middle class sacrifice and the wealthy pay even less in taxes. Unlike President Obama, their policies would eliminate, not create, opportunities for the middle class."

Though Republicans are far from choosing their last man standing, the memo zeroes in on several top names.

"[T]he actions or lack thereof of candidates like Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, Michele Bachmann and others are clear - these Republican candidates for President are not interested in leading. They simply want to please the far-right, extreme Tea Party base of their party because that is what being the standard bearer of the Republican Party today requires," says Roussell.

The memo is described as a state of play for media and "Democratic friends" which spells out the DNC's predictions for tonight's debate.

In it, Roussell predicts the GOP responses on a series of issues:

ON THE DEBT CEILING DEAL"Expect the overwhelming majority of the Republicans on the stage tomorrow night to proudly state that they would not have supported the bipartisan debt agreement that prevented our country from defaulting on its debt for the first time in history."

    S&P DOWNGRADE

The Democrats put the S&P downgrade at least partially in the laps of the Republican party, saying the party's obstinance to raising revenues was a determining factor.

"At a moment when America should have been their top concern, they put politics, party and rigid ideology first. And the Republican presidential candidates backed them up - and the GOP field will double down on that flawed approach to leadership tonight."

    ON SENIORS

"Both Mitt Romney and Tim Pawlenty endorsed a Cut, Cap and Balance proposal that would have cut Medicaid by one-third over 10 years and nearly half by 2050. According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, that alone could cause 36 million people to lose their Medicaid coverage, including individuals with disabilities and seniors in nursing homes."

    ON MITT ROMNEY

"Mitt Romney has consistently ducked and dodged on the most pressing issues facing America including the debt ceiling debate. Not only did he wait until 12 hours before the final vote to actually say something-leading one reporter to say Romney was in a "Mittness Protection Program"-he endorsed the Cut, Cap and Balance plan that would have harmed our economic recovery in the short-term while simultaneously hurting our long-term economic competitiveness all while putting a greater burden on America's oldest citizens and our most vulnerable. Look for him to reassert his support for Cut, Cap and Balance tonight."

    ON MICHELE BACHMANN

"To her credit Michele Bachmann did not actually vote for the Cut, Cap, and Balance - because she didn't think it was extreme enough! She told Fox News that America should pay off all our foreign creditors first, even if that means slashing Medicare and Social Security payments to America's seniors. We expect her to repeat similar sentiments tonight."

    ON HERMAN CAIN

"Additionally, look for Herman Cain to tout more failed economic policies like his support for a 'fair tax' for everyone, which even the Wall Street Journal editorial board called 'the most radical reform imaginable' and one that would 'hit hard the young, middle-income families.'"

Liberals Are Cutting Out The Middle Man And Providing 'Social Justice' Themselves

Liberals around the world are cutting out the Middle Man(Progressive government) and just looting from the 'rich'. This isn't just one crazy liberal out of millions. It is thousands and growing. These liberals are killing people and blowing up buildings in the name of liberalism. Liberals thought that by putting liberal governments in place they would have the government steal from those that have and give it to them. Just like the "Obama money" people in this country. But the truth is these liberals haven't gotten a dime out of this unholy deal with the liberal devil. That hasn't stopped them from taking what they want and destroying the rest.

Obama and the Democratic Party have been trying to spread the wealth. The problem is we are all more poor because of their liberal policies. We are seeing our future in Europe. It's a future Obama told us he was shooting for.

I feel the tipping point in this country will be when cities and States start going bankrupt and the union pensions get whipped out. If you think that the unions have been crazy when budgets are balanced and unions are asked to give a little back, just wait.

When you watch these videos of Europe, just think if this was your town.  Liberals are the same all around the world. Soon the liberals will realize that they are going to get richer by voting in a liberal government. They will also realize that there are still 'rich' people and they will start their theft and destruction here in this country. One day you may wake up and not have a job to go too because liberals burned it down. Or the business you had is now ashes like your 401k.

If you aren't prepared to defend what is yours then you better get on the ball. It's your job to protect what is yours. The police can't do anything. If the business owners in Europe had guns the looters might think twice about their mindless destruction of others property.

Watch as not one but thousands of liberals take to the streets and destroy everything in their wake. It is what they do. Riots have become a 100% liberal tactic. Maybe that is why liberals think so highly of Muslim terrorists. They are cut from the same destructive cloth.

An interview with Scott and the footage of him following a group of young looters around what he said is usually a lovely community is in this video.

These riots are the result of liberal policies

Santelli Blast CNBC Guest For Calling Tea Partiers ‘Freaked Out White Men Who Are Unemployed’

Everyone is getting sick and tired of the MSM narrative about the Tea Party. Get used to us because we are here to stay.

MoveOn Mob Threatens to Kick Down Boehner’s Door

More than a 100 protesters showed up at Boehner's Ohio office. The protest just happened to be organized by MoveOn.org and the person they interview here is from the SEIU. One woman kicks the door to the screams of "kick it down" behind her. These same liberals did nothing over the years when it was Pelosi,Reid and Obama. I'm sure well will be seeing even more of this as jobs numbers keep dropping and the economy keep going into recession. These union idiots will really be cracked when the cities and States start going bankrupt and leaving them without a pension or a pot to piss in.

    Union Thugs Show True Colors

    CONTENT WARNING for graphic language):
Another video posted referencing IBEW Local 827  on Tuesday shows how a semi-truck, apparently operated by the local Teamsters union, just happened to break down in front of the Verizon entrance, making it harder for people to enter:

    UPDATE:
According to a Verizon press release on Monday, there has been:
    • Ten incidents of fiber-optic lines being deliberately cut in the Bronx, Pomona, Farmingdale and Guilderland in New York; two separate incidents in Tewksbury in Massachusetts; incidents in Bel Air in Maryland, and East Dover, Oakland and Plainfield in New Jersey.
    • An outage due to stolen electronic equipment in Cedar Grove, N.J., affecting a local police department, among other customers.
    • An incident due to tampering with a heating system at a central office in Manhattan.

According to Verizon Chief Security Officer Mike Mason.
“In addition to inconveniencing our customers, these deliberate disruptions of our network have affected hospitals, paramedics, fire fighters, law enforcement and other first responders. Verizon is working closely with local authorities to investigate these sabotage incidents, and identify and prosecute those responsible to the fullest extent of the law. And we will not hesitate to terminate any employee who may be involved in these acts.
“In addition, there have been circumstances where union picketers are showing contempt for our customers by illegally preventing us from accessing the tools we need to serve them,” said Mason. “We are taking legal action to end this unlawful activity.”
Verizon is offering a $50,000 reward for “information leading to the arrest and prosecution of individuals that intentionally damage Verizon cables or facilities or cause or attempt to cause physical injury to any Verizon employee or contractor.”
Verizon urges anyone who witnesses sabotage of Verizon property or any suspicious activity to call 911 immediately, then call the Verizon Security Control Center at 1-800-997-3287.
The incidents of sabotage follow a weekend of protesters and inflatable rats descending on the homes of Verizon executives.

On Sunday, CWA and IBEW bosses called their members out on strike, following a break down in negotiations over health care costs. The union members work in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.
The last strike involving this unit was in 2000 and involved some 85,000 Verizon workers. Since that time, the unions have lost some 40,000 members as more and more customers turn toward Verizon’s wireless service, which is non-union.
In the 2000 strike, there were at least 455 incidents of sabotage, vandalism and harassment reported–including the near-electrocution of two Verizon strikers who mistakenly cut through a 13,000-volt power cable they thought was a phone line.
Due to the amount of union misinformation being spread in the media, Verizon has set up a website to address the various false claims made by the unions.

We Need A Leader That Leads

Both the left and right-wing see the lack of leadership from President Obama. After all his failed policies it's no wonder why he is afraid to do anything but campaign and talk on TV. That seems to be all he is good at. The economy is going to be in the crapper for the next two years and that is why the FED held interest rate low for this unprecedented long time. It shows what little confidence the FED has in what Obama has done to our economy. That one act speaks volumes about our economy over the next few years. Not only do they think it will be a rough ride but a long one as well.

Historic Drop In Stock Market: OPEN THREAD

The US $ is dropping fast. I understand Obama is skidish about leading right now since he is way over his head and has scewed up everything he has touched. But he need to stop feeling sorry for himself and stop drownding himself in his re-election campaigning. Doing nothing is worse then leading to the left, right or middle. Our country is at one of it's weakest times and Obama is acting like an immature child.

Weather we like it or not we need a leader that at least apperse to be strong and in control. He is the only president we have right now. Hidding his head in the sand and leading from behind will only make us weak and varnerable to our enemies, whoever they may be. Obama must put forward plannes that are comprehensive and have been proven effective in the past. Now is not the time to be trying to prove some proffesor in the Ivy Leagues theories right or wrong. Doing more of the same only adds to our debt and will not work, nor has it ever worked.

America Must Grow Their Economy And Stop Mindless Spending

Obama and the Democratic Party are doing what they do best. Find someone to blame rather then trying to fix the problem. Our President needs to focus on growing our economy. Since he doesn't have any business people in his administration it's no wonder our economy has been dead in the water. I pray he starts looking to those that have actually created jobs in the real world not some theoretical prof. We need those that have had success, not taught success in some classroom.

Obama will not be spending too much time trying to help our economy grow. He will talk about it but he wont do anything about it. For years now Obama has been telling us that he will now "laser in on jobs" and the economy. But then he does something else. We don't have a clear plan on how we will grow our economy out of this mess. It's hard to focus on making money when all you do is spend money. Obama doesn't like to make anything. He just likes to spend and campaign. That is what he is 'good' at. He has never created or made anything that makes money. He takes money.

Our small businesses are our economy. And they have been treated like a red headed step child. Just look at how this admin. has treated the Chamber of Commerce vs. how they have treated the "Too big to fail" businesses like GM.

A Fair Tax would help put our economy in the right direction. This would help bring back some of the manufactures afford to come back to this country. We need to fast track patents and make that whole process work faster. We need to match up new products with businesses here in this country that will produce them and sell them overseas. Government wont get us out of the mess they got us into. The best thing the government can do is get out of the way.

We are America. We are great and we will get out of this mess. I believe in the citizens of this country, even if our government doesn't believe in us. The stock market will tell us today what they think of the future. I know that no matter how bad the future looks we will come back from this. It might take years or decades but we will fix what has been broken.

As American voters we hold the cards. If you want the government to have power and control over you then vote for a Democrat. If you want to govern yourself then vote for a Republican. If you want businesses to grow and our economy to grow then we need to vote in successful business men and women. We need someone that will surround themselves with people that have grown businesses and made money. We need to ask small businesses what government is doing to make growth out of reach and change it. All businesses need to grow. Not just the ones that the government choses to help.

Our government needs to focus more on taxing imports and less on taxing those "rich" businesses that are creating jobs in this country. We have been taxing tobacco products for a long time now. Those added taxes have hurt the tobacco sales. Let's take what we have learned about taxes and put them to work for growth. A Fair Tax would get government out of the way of our growth. It would bring stability to our tax structure and our economy. And it would focus on growth.

Today the stock markets around the world will tell us what they think. The Democrats and our President will blame and campaign. We need someone to lead us while the Democrats do what they do best. We need leaders to focus on the future so we don't keep getting downgraded. We need viable solutions to lower our debt and growing our economy. We don't need a leader that talks about doing something but never gets around to it. We need doers not talkers.

We all know that the future is going to be harder then our past. I'd like to know what your thoughts are on the state of our nation, the world and our future?

U.S. Credit Rating Downgraded: Thank Obama And The Democratic Party For Their Mindless Spending

Click here to find out more!
Democrats never think through anything. These idiots are still pounding the "spend more money" drum as if there was any money left. This will have an effect on our weak economy. But the real cost will come when the middle class Americans go and buy a car or house or anything on credit. When you can't afford to buy that new Ford because the payment is too high you know who to blame. And when Ford doesn't sell as many new vehicles remember who wanted to keep spending your money like their was no tomorrow. We gave into raising the debt and this is what happens. I'm sure the stock market and your 401k and pension will be hurting because of this news.

    OBAMA CHANGE FOR THE WORSE!

We have only just started to pay for the policies of Obama and the Democratic party. This ride ain't over yet. Buckle up it's going to be a rough ride.
