They Hold Hands Across The Sands To Do What Again?

This is Hands Across The Sand. They were just at the Metro Beach where I live. This group goes all around the country holding hands on the beaches. This is another typical left wing organization. They think by going all around the country and getting people to hold hands they are doing something for the environment. They don't clean up the beaches when they are there. They don't buy land to keep it natural like the fishermen and hunters do. No they just stand their and expect the rest of us to do the work. If they want to bring attention they should do it by doing something other then stand there.  It wasn't any of these left wing organizations that cleaned up the Clinton river to the point that it is cleaner now then it has ever been in our history. They didn't cut down trees so the trout could make it into the river. Take a close look at what the left wing groups do. And when I say do I mean do. They tend to stand there first or they do what the G20 lefties do and riot to get attention. But then they ask the government to tax us all so that they get what they want. They pay a pittance to get what they want, if anything at all. These libs have to be told NO. If they want something then they need to antty up for it just like we do. And they better start doing something other then stand their like a bunch of lazy fools expecting something in return for that minor deed. It's time we mock these people for doing next to nothing and expecting something in return. If they want something then they need to do it. Do they all have electric cars and solar panel houses? Did they buy a windmill for the beach? Before they tell us to do something they should do it themselves first. And before any of you start with the I must hate nature BS look at what my hobbies are. I hunt,fish and organic garden. All of which do something good for the environment and our lands. When I bought my sons a new gun to learn to shoot with that tax I paid went towords buying land and marshes. We the hunters and fishers have done what the left wing wont. We have made our states more natural and better then we got it. We all want the same thing but the right is willing to do more then just hold hands to make it happen. And riding around naked on a bike is doing nothing either. If you want to run around naked pick some of the crap up while your at it. And after the G20 left wing riots are over clean up what yours on the left did. It's for the environment.

The dawn compromise set up a potential vote in both houses of Congress next week that could send the landmark legislation to President Obama by July 4.
"It's a great moment. I'm proud to have been here," said a teary-eyed Sen. Christopher J. Dodd (D-Conn.), who as chairman of the Senate Banking Committee led the effort in the Senate. "No one will know until this is actually in place how it works. But we believe we've done something that has been needed for a long time. It took a crisis to bring us to the point where we could actually get this job done."
Both the House and Senate must approve the compromise legislation before it can go to Obama for his signature.  This is the blind leading the blind and we the people are the ones getting screwed. Pray for our leaders that thier eyes are open and they do what is right for we the people not them and their friends.

In a classic example of liberal hypocrisy, the far-left leaning, George Soros-funded group MoveOn.org has removed its controversial website. Do you remember how the left ,Democrats, degraded our military? The way the Democrats treated our military was sickening. Nothing has changed with these wars but the party name.
I guess MoveOn couldn't possibly bash this General now that he's working for Obama.

Obama Predicted Petraeus Failure in Iraq, Now Needs Him in Afghanistan?

Of course, radical antiwar Chicago Senator Obama was completely wrong and at odds with General Petraeus on the Iraq Surge.

This afternoon President Barack Obama put General Petraeus in charge of Afghanistan.

The Hill reported:

Obama has selected Gen. David Petraeus to replace McChrystal.

“If he is the choice, that’s an excellent choice. I think it’s a brilliant stroke. Clearly competent,” Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) said on MSNBC in reaction to the pick. “Clearly he’s the guy that can take over now and ram this policy through to success.”

In remarks in the Rose Garden this afternoon, the president said he’d accepted McChrystal’s resignation with “considerable regret” for controversial remarks the general had made to Rolling Stone magazine, in which he criticized Obama and other top administration officials

Open Debate On The Afghanistan War

It seems like the wars aren't being fought very well. Obama has lost control of both wars and it doesn't look like he is very engaged in the wars. Our military has been weakened over the past few months. This incident is just a symptom of a greater problem. Obama gave a time line and didn't give all the troops he was asked to. It took Obama forever to even acknowledge Gen McChrystals request to keep fighting the war in Afghanistan. Now the left will point their fingers at everyone but the Commander in Chief and say it is everyones fault but President Obama's. The economy is out of control,the Gulf oil spill is getting worse not better,the housing market crashed 33% last quarter,jobs are being lost and businesses are going under in near record numbers. But the die hard Democrats think the Democrats are doing a good job. And the thought that Joe "Buffoon" Biden is second in command doesn't make me feel any safer. I'd like to know what you think about the way the Democrats are running this war and country. What effect will the decision to fire McChrystal for General Patreaus? And do any of you remember the name the Democrats gave to Gen Patreaus when he worked for Bush? How do you think our enemy views this? Are we stronger or weaker under Obama and the Democrats in Congress?
