A Government Shutdown Serves The Democratic Party And That Is What The Democrats Are Banking On

How do you know when a Democrat is lieing? Yep, their lips are moving. While the Democrats are out trying to pin a government shutdown on the Republican Party they are saying a different story in private and on tape. When it comes down too it history has shown that a government shutdown has worked for the Democratic Party in the past. They will use the shutdown to demonize the "baby killing Republicans" just like they have done in the past.

The problem is I don't think the American voter believes the lieing zealot Democratic Party any more. Reality and rhetoric don't match up when it comes to the Democratic Party. They made a lot of promises and false hope that they didn't keep. They said they would fix everything, but the reality is they have broken everything worse then when they got it. We are broke and the Democratic Party wants to spend like 2012 is the last year. We must cut all wants from government spending and only keep the needs. We must pay down our debt, not make it larger every year for the next decade.

It's time we pay attention to America. We need to cut government spending or drown in debt like Japan is. We need to prepare for hard times by making cuts across the board. If we have a government shut down remember who it goes to serve if it comes to fruition. That is were the blame will lay.

Prices Are Rising Fast. What Are You Doing To Prepare?

We all know the effect that long term high gas prices have on our existance. We know the effect it will have on the auto factories, dealerships, food and just driving to work and back. I still remember the effect high gas prices did to the Northern parts of Michigan were people go to vacation. I love that part of this great and beautiful State of Michigan and we spend many days there throughout the year. It truely is Gods country Up North.

Now back to the subject. This year I see a lot of interest in home gardening and backyard homesteading. When I was a kid we raised ducks and sheep as well as a large garden for 4-H. Did I mention we lived on 3/4 of an acher in the Detroit suburbs? Everyone wanted to come play at our house and learn about the animals and eat the fresh fruits. The duck eggs were as cool as it got for our friends as kids.

I don't raise any farm animals, but I do have a large no till organic garden, raspberries, strawberries, elderberry, dewberry, mulberry,Bing cherry,Rainer cherry,Mongolian cherry, paw paw fruit, honey crisp apple, kiwi, grape, goji berry, fig and pear. I have all this on 3/4 of an acher down the road from where I grew up.

We eat well out of our yard and there is still lots of room to play. When we have people over they love just eating off the bushes. This year my families labors will pay off even greater then ever. Last year we were able to eat from Spring till early Winter out of the garden for our vegetables and fruit needs.

It always been about putting my land to work for me and my family. With a little time and effort this year we will be able to feed ourselves and many others. I'm planning on taking out some people I know to do some wild crafted food gathering out in the woods and water. We will collect and prepare enough for ourselves and a homeless organization in our county. Young kids love collecting the cattail tops in early Spring. We steam them and eat them like corn. It's a high energy food with lots of minerals. The pith is also very good in a salad and it tastes like cucumber. Digging up burdock and sunchoke roots and collecting the many edible greens. There is a quality to this kind of food that you can't buy in a store.

It didn't take a lot of gas to produce this food source. It also took my family out of the market, helping helping reduce demand by a little. I'm taking leaves out of the landfill and using them to produce a needed commodity. I help by keeping rare heirlooms for biodiversity and genetic diversity. The garden also takes carbon out of the air and back into the ground by using layered no till gardening. I use organic folier feeding so there is no waste.

My garden is high in organic material and minerals so we are eating the healthiest rich in nutrient foods we can produce. I never spray chemicals on the plants to kill bugs. I spray colloidal silver on the plants to kill bug eggs, bacteria and viruses on the leaves. Colloidal silver is also good for us as well and it helps foods last longer. A lot longer.

We can't do much about gas prices. But we can do a little by planting a garden. As the price of food keeps going up, the value of your garden is going up as well. God does most of the work and the payoff is great. Put the machines God made to work just by feeding the soil. Have fun and get the kids involved. It's their garden too. And don't forget to thank God for that salad.

New Poll Shows Voters Think Democrats Are The Extreemist

AP Graphics
Voters continue to view the Republican agenda in Congress as more mainstream than the agenda of the Democrats. But only one-in-four voters think the average member of either party shares the same ideology they do.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows that 45% say it would be more accurate to describe the agenda of Republicans in Congress as mainstream, up five points from last month. Thirty-eight percent (38%) say it's more accurate to describe that agenda as extreme, while 17% more are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
But half of voters (50%) say the Democratic agenda in Congress is extreme, while 37% see it as mainstream, also up five points from a month ago. Another 14% are not sure.
In August of last year as the mid-term congressional races heated up, most voters (53%) viewed the GOP agenda in Congress as mainstream, while 57% described the Democratic agenda as extreme.

If the Republicans are the mainstream Party it goes to show the Tea Party is also a mainstream ideology. But we already knew that the liberal ideology is just a fringe group of extremists with less then 20% of the populous.

But not all thanks goes to the Tea Party for bring the Republican Party into then mainstream. We must thank the radical left-wing and unions for their part. Thanks to them and their vandalism, violent rhetoric and threats just about everyone looks mainstream. It's nice to see the conservative underground doing their job and sending out the pictures and videos of the left-wing violence and rhetoric to their email friends. Both sides must keep doing what they are doing and it will be an easy victory come Nov.

Obama 2012: President Announces Re-Election Bid With This Campaign Video

The official start of his second White House bid comes 20 months before the November 2012 election.
“We’re doing this now because the politics we believe in does not start with expensive TV ads or extravaganzas, but with you – with people organizing block-by-block, talking to neighbors, co-workers, and friends. And that kind of campaign takes time to build,” Obama said in an e-mail to supporters.

Let's see if Obama runs on "Hope and Change" again. I'm sure he wont run on his track record, jobs, economy, energy prices,war,obamacare... What will Obama run on? Will he blame Bush and Republicans? For the life of me I can't see what he will run on? The banks are still too big to fail. Gas is going through the roof, unemployment it still out of control and he hasn't fixed anything that needed to be fixed. Other then paying off the unions, what has he done for us?

What If Herman Cain Ran For President? Would The Media Call Him a "Racist Teabagger"?

At a recent Tea-Party event in Florida, Cain explained that he‘s itching for a chance to prove that there can be a black president that isn’t a “dud.” To prove his firework capability, he delivered a theory as to why the liberal media is ignoring him:
“The liberal mainstream media, notice how they have tried to destroy Sarah Palin, notice how the more popular Michele Bachmann gets, the more they try to destroy her? You want to know why they go after those two ladies more viciously? Because they know that Michele Bachmann or Sarah Palin is going to draw a lot of the women vote away from the Democrat party. They are scared to death of that if they were to run and get the nomination. They are doubly scared that a real black man might run against Barack Obama.”
Shark-Tank.net has the clip (via Weasel Zippers). The relevant comments come around 3:00 below:
If Cain does get the Republican nomination the left-wing and the MSM will become catatonic. But in the end they will call Cain a racist, baby killer even if it doesn't make a lick of sense. I would however like to watch them try their racist acrobats in typical left-wing fashion.

Once Again Islam Shows It's True Colors

Granted the idiot burning the Qua ran is just that an idiot, who thinks Muslims had the right to kill people because the Qua ran was burned? This is the Muslim way. Is there anything we can say to a people that has a religion that demands it's followers kill 'infidels'? It's no wonder the Muslims are at war will everyone including their own. I think we know which side has all the hate.

United Nations Workers Killed by Afghan Mob
By ROD NORDLAND, New York Times
KABUL, Afghanistan - Thousands of demonstrators angered over the burning of a Koran in Florida mobbed offices of the United Nations in northern Afghanistan on Friday, overrunning the compound and killing at least seven foreign staff workers, according to an Afghan officials.
There were conflicting reports of the total number of people killed and whether two of the victims had been beheaded. Five Afghans were also reported killed.
The incident began when thousands of protesters poured out of the Blue Mosque in Mazar-i-Sharif after Friday prayers and attacked the nearby headquarters of the United Nations, according to Lal Mohammad Ahmadzai, spokesman for Gen. Daoud Daoud, the Afghan National Police commander for northern Afghanistan.

Senator Obama Continues to Haunt President

Senator Barack Obama said, "no amount of American lives can resolve the political disagreement that lies at the heart of someone else's civil war."
At the time Obama was speaking about his opposition to the war in Iraq, "Most of you know that I opposed this war from the start. I thought it was a tragic mistake," Obama said to a crowd at the Springfield, Illinois town square on Feb. 10, 2007.

Either he sounded stupid then or he sounds stupid now, which is it?

Why Garden?

I can tell you why I garden. I started out just wanting to have fresh organic fruits and vegetables at hand. I found that I could make my fruits and vegetables much better then the organic farmers. By growing heirlooms I found that I could grow things I couldn't find in the store. Many of our forefathers and our First Lady grow heirloom gardens. Most heirlooms were bred for flavor and colors.

It's a great way for me to cut my food budget. From Spring to Early Winter my family only needs to buy meats and treats. The garden feeds us everything else. As well as the fruit trees and berry bushes. The way I look at it I'm helping the environment by mulching leaves and grass clippings to feed my family well. That food can go to someone else and my food didn't take a truck to get it to me.

I'm starting to see other reasons for having a garden. Food prices are going up and fast. Walmart just said they have to raise prices on food and other goods. That means my garden is now more valuable to my family. But to most Americans without a garden this is going to hurt them more then they can handle. Instead of planting flowers this year can you plant a garden? Plant some colorful lettuce instead. Give the extra to the homeless or your neighbor. Take some bags of topsoil and plant potatos in them. There is a worldwide food shortage coming and we must all do what we can to help.

You will be a lot more thankful for your food this year if you take it from the garden. It's just a thought. Let me know what you think we can do to help? Just don't tell me you drive a Prius to help.
