UAW Workers Keep Getting Stoned At Work. That Is The Union Way

For anyone that has worked for the UAW this should come as no surprise. When I worked for the UAW, more then half the line would go out and get high or drinking booze during their lunch. I remember one time a UAW Hi-Lo driver did some major damage to the machines on the line and almost hit a few line workers. They gave him a breathalyzer and he was both drunk and high. Thanks to the UAW he got a paid vacation and was back on the Hi-Lo drinking and driving two weeks later. It is the UAW way.

I think the next UAW contract should have a drug test and firing for any drug or alcohol abuses. The drug test alone would clear our 1/4 of the workers. But we all know the UAW would never let the Big Three drug test their members because they know the truth about them. Just see what they do outside the UAW halls if you want an awakening.

The thing is most of the workers are clean and hate the fact that such a large portion of the UAW population have drug and alcohol abuses while at work. It was also common knowledge that the Hi-Lo drivers are almost always the highons or drunks.

The income that these union members make would make anyone happy. If the UAW wants to have a decent name for itself they better start getting rid of the dead wood within it's membership. If the Big Three want anyone to buy their cars they need to start coming down harder on these union idiots that put us all at risk with their products. Let alone putting their own members at risk when they get screwed up at work.

The American people are watching the unions and we are not liking what we see. It's now wonder why union members have become one of the most hated professions. If the Big Three doesn't get control of it's workforce we will be bailing them out for a third and for Chrysler a fourth time. I don't know about you but I'm getting sick and tired have bailing these companies out when they keep harboring this kind of culture.

What are your thoughts on this constant problem with the UAW?

Open Thread On The Debt Crisis and Big Government

We all know that it is the private sector that grows our economy. Thanks to Obama we all know that big government retards economic growth and grows debt and the burdon on the private sector. There is no reason why the public sector should be making so much more then the private sector employees.

The problem is these public sector employees are part of a union that will sooner destroy the private sector then to have their pay and benefits brought back into line with reality.

This is what the private sector thinks about Washington:
This not the first time that Mr. Wynn has spoken so bluntly about the administration and his feelings about policies that are holding back the recovery.  In April, Wynn was on Fox News with Neil Cavuto and talked about “the gross irresponsibility of the government”:

Redistributing Wealth By Any Other Name Is Still Socialism

These Democrats just don't get it. When they are faced with the reality of what they want to do to the citizens of this country they run away. If the media was doing their job the Democrats wouldn't be able to keep hiding the truth of what they are doing. They know that once the American people wake up to what the Democrats are doing to them they would run for the hills.

We all know that Democrats want to have the power to take away wealth from the private sector so that they can control it, not you. If you pay federal income tax then you are too "rich" to vote Democratic Party. They might not start at your income but they will finish at your income sooner or later. Only half of Americans pay federal income tax. That means that if you are paying federal income tax or work for a company that pays federal income tax it's coming out of your pocket.

If Democrats have their way companies like Ford will have to pay much higher taxes in the future. That means they will have less profit to share with it's employees the UAW and stockholders. If you want to be a brainwashed Democratic Party zombie go right ahead and do it. But when things don't go the way you thought they would, just like they have for the past few years, don't blame the Republicans. When your company fires you or has little or no profits to share don't blame us. We wanted you to be in charge of distributing your wealth. And when a car become too expensive to buy new, don't blame us. We didn't want to add more taxes to the "rich". And when companies can't make a profit in this country and move overseas just remember who put that tax on them.

When Bush gave every citizen in this country a check on the recession he got from Clinton people used them to buy what they wanted. And I sold a lot of cars those months because people had the cash to buy things they wouldn't have. The Obama Stimulus hasn't even been felt by us and that is because we never seen one penny of that money. It never went to the private sector because it was used to grow our government, not jobs.

It's time we all realize what happens when Democrats get a hold of our money. They spend it for us and then they want more. No one has been saved by the Obama Stimulus. Two years later and those same jobs are on the line again. States are still going bankrupt and teachers are still getting fired. And we all own $45,000 for nothing.

TEA PARTY FRESHMAN DECIMATES NBC NEWS ANCHOR

Tea Party Freshman Congressman Joe Walsh (R) appeared on Martin Bashir’s NBC News show this afternoon and completely schooled the British-accented anchor.

Let's look at what Congress has done to our debt since they were taken over by the Democratic Party. The last two years of the Bush admin had our debt rise faster then any other time before. One those same Democrats,Pelosi and Reed got Obama it was cart blonch withe the American peoples credit card. Now that we have Republicans in Congress again maybe they can do what they did under Clinton. We all know it was the Republican Congress that made the cuts that gave us the surplus.

Obama wants to just keep doing what they have been doing. They want to taker tax payer money and give it to their Wall Street cronies. All we have to do is take a look at Wall Street now and look at main street since Obama took office. Let's take a look at who has gotten the money. All those "too big too fail" businesses are still too big too fail. States are still going to fail even though we bailed them out. The Democrats have given our money to big banks and big business so that they wouldn't have loses. Why is it that the Democrats socialize loses and let the big businesses keep the profits? Is that "social justice"?

We have let them spend our money like their is no tomorrow with promises of growth. They told us that if Obama got his way we would grow our way out of this recession. We wouldn't see unemployment go past 8%. They said that growing government and bailing out big business would make everything better. You don't have to be a genius to know that none of it has worked the way they Democrats and Obama told us it would. Americans aren't as dumb as Obama thinks. They know cause and effect. They know who has been running this country and they know the Congress holds the purse strings.

The Democrats have been selling us shit and telling us it's shoe polish. Anyone with senses can tell the difference. Americans have started to not believe what Obama and the Democratic Party says any more. They will realize that the Democrats are selling us shit when they say that the they must raise the debt. They realize that if SSI doesn't get paid out it's Obama doing it. They realize that the president can still use the income from taxes to keep paying those people. Every time the Republicans want too cut government the Democrats hold up teachers, firefighters and police as the first cuts they will make. Not the pork but the meat gets the first cuts. They will do anything to get their way. Even if it will destroy this country.

We also know what massive debt does to every country that has ever had it. So why do the Democrats want to keep raising our debt? Do they not care about the next generation? Just look at what they do to the teachers, police and firefights and tell me what you think. Raising our debt and taxes right now is just more proof that the Democratic Party doesn't care about the future of this country. They know what raising our debt will do in the end. We know that the Democrats can't grow our economy. This is about votes, not Americas future.

The Democrats want your money and power, while the Republicans want you too keep your money and govern yourself. You tell me which party is on the side of the people and which party just want to take from you and the private sector so that they can control the economy and country?

Just remember Senator Obama voted to not raise the debt ceiling a few years ago. The only things that have changed since then is our debt is much larger and Obama is now the president. Was he playing politics then or now? I thinks it's both.

We all know what raising our debt will do. We also know what raising taxes will do. So why do Democrats in Congress and Obama want to do both? Are they trying to "fundamentally change America"? If that is what they are doing then they are doing a great job. If they are trying to save this country and the middle class then they are failing worse then any admin. before them. We can't keep going down the same path and expecting different results, that would be crazy. We need to change course no matter how hard it is on us. If we don't, we will screw this generation and the ones that follow.

It's time we take away the money and the power from our government and give it back to the people. We will do a much better job spending what is ours then they have. No one with a soul would en debt their children like we have done. It's time we start asking Democrats why they want to keep screwing over the children with our debt? Every generation before this one has left more then they came in with. Are we really that selfish that we would make our children and grandchildren pay off our debts? It sure does seem so. Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for taking candy from a baby in order to not make the cuts needed to live within our means.

If Democrats want to screw their own kids and grand kids by leaving debt instead of inheritance it's their right. But we as a country do not have the right to make our children work to pay off our debt. It is theft plain and simple. All I know is that stealing from a child is one of the lowest things anyone could do and that is just what the Democrats and Obama want to do.

Open Thread On The Debt Crisis

I'd like to know what you think about the debt crisis. Let's take an honest look at our debt and both perspectives on how we should handle said debt.

I have started thanking young people for taking on our debt. Just like I thank our military soldiers for their service. I'd like to see more Tea Partiers shake the hands of the next generation that will have to pay higher taxes and have a lower standard of living so that we wont have to. You will see a light go off in their heads when you thank them. It's as if they just realized what the Democratic Party is trying to do to the next few generations. They don't realize that they will have to pay off that debt if we don't.

It might be a good idea for the Tea Partiers to go to colleges in the Fall and hand out thank you notes. We don't have to turn them into Republican. All we have to do is pull the youth away from the Democratic Party that is screwing them. We should also thank them for letting us drain Social Security and Medicare as well. Under the Democratic plan SSI and Medicares pyramid scam will come to an end. Leaving them with the bill and nothing in return.

When it comes to the debt crisis I agree with Senator Obama and the Democrats that were making the debt a big deal under Bush when it was still in the billions not trillion. I didn't like the rising debt under Bush. I was with the Democrats when the debt hit $200 billion before TARP. But unlike the wishy washy Democrats, I'm still against raising the debt and all for paying it off. We all know that cuts are needed. But the Democrats and Obama can't see that now for some reason. We also know that the Democrats are just playing politics, otherwise they wouldn't have changed their tune on our debt and the debt ceiling.

The Republicans need to keep pushing Obama. They need to make him hold the ball. Republicans need to keep making their position known. That they want our debt to get under control. The only way to make that happen is if we cut government spending. That is common sense. Something the left don't have. The left like dogs bark when the Democratic Party tell them too. The left change their position on debt when the party changed. Not one thought as too why they are doing what the MSM and Democratic Party tell them.

I'd like to know your opinions on this debt crisis. What would you like to see happen? And please lets have an honest debate on this.

I Believe In You

Unlike the Democratic Party and liberals, I believe in you and so does the Republican Party. I want you to do with your money as you please, even if it's not what I would do with it. I believe that you will make mistakes with your freedom. But I also believe that you will learn form those mistakes.

It's time the Republicans come out and tell the American people that they believe in them. That they believe they are the only one that can fix our economy. Not the government. I believe you can govern yourself better then the government can.

If you believe in Americans to govern themselves there is only one Party that agrees with you, and that is the Republican Party. Democrats want don't think you can do what is right for you. They don't think you will make the right decisions with your free will.

We have seen what happens when the government makes all the decisions with your money and freedoms. They pick the winners and looser and we have all lost thanks to this failed ideology. This country is the first and only country that has put the power to govern in the hands of the individual citizen and not in the collective. We know this works because we are the best country the world has ever known. We are wealthier then all the other countries. Our economy controls their economies, that is how great we are.

Now I can see where the liberals are coming from on this. They know that they will not get all the crap they want if it was left up to free will giving. They know that the only way they can get ahead is if they take from one American and give to themselves. They don't believe in themselves let alone in others to support their wants. But we have all seen how little liberals give compared to conservatives and they are right. So we all know that the liberal wont take cutting them off from the American tax payers deep pocket. We all remember how they bitch about the cuts in welfare reform. They didn't believe that the poor could help themselves and take care of themselves. They don't believe in you. Well I have to say I do believe in you. Both liberals and conservatives. I know the liberals will be the ones in the nest not willing to fly on their own. But once the nest is gone they will fly just like they always have. They just need a little kick that's all. Don't let Obama, the Democratic Party and the MSM tell you that Americans are feeble and weak. We are all given the same rights and equal justice no matter what the left-wing say.

Obama Thinks American Are Dumb: ‘Professional Politicians’ Understand Debt Crisis Better Than General ‘Public’

According to Obama, “professional politicians” understand the debt crisis better than average Americans do.
Citing a poll in which 69 percent of Americans oppose raising the debt limit, CBS news reporter Chip Reid asked Obama if the problem was that he and others had “failed to convince” the American people that “we have a crisis here.”
Obama responded:
“Let me distinguish between professional politicians and the public at large. You know, the public is not paying close attention to the ins and outs of how a Treasury auction goes. They shouldn’t. They’re worrying about their family, they’re worrying about their jobs. They’re worrying about their neighborhood. They have got a lot of other things on their plate. We’re paid to worry about it.”

It's not that the American public is stupid and just don't understand what the Democrats are telling them. It's that they have been wrong about everything they have said. They said that unemployment wouldn't go past 8% with the massive debt ridden Stimulus Bill. They said that they were doing everything for "main street". But in reality Wall Street is doing great while main street is in the longest recession ever. They said they would make this country and the world a better place to live. Seriously, who could ever believe that pill of crap?

Americans have come to realize that the Democratic Party doesn't have a clue what they are talking about. Americans can't trust the President and the Democratic Party because they lie at every turn. When you are against the debt and war when Bush was president and then become a debt monger and warmonger the second you take office, who in their right mind could respect or believe these politicians on the left?

Nothing the Democratic Party and Obama have done has worked the way they said it would. It has magically turned out the way the conservatives said it would. If you want to keep listening to the people that haven't gotten one thing right then just call yourself crazy. Only a crazy person would keep doing the same thing and expect different results. But that is exactly what the left-wingers keep doing.

As a retort the lefties on this blog will call me the "idiot" and try and make fun of me. But they will not and can not respond to the facts that the Democratic Party and Obama have made things worse. If you want to keep listening to these fools, go right ahead. But most Americans are seeing the result of what the Democratic Party has done. They know who's fault it is because the Democrats have owned both houses of congress for over 4 years now. They know who to blame when the Democrats place blame on everyone but themselves. They blame Bush, the Republican Party that hasn't been in power and now they blame the American people for being too stupid to understand what the Democrats are trying to sell them.

If this was a company everyone would have been fired by now. But when the liberals own the main stream media they have lots of brainwashing power. And they use it.

Here Is The Real Story Of The Obama Unemployed. Hope and Change my Butt

THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION -- JUNE 2011

Nonfarm payroll employment was essentially unchanged in June (+18,000), and the
unemployment rate was little changed at 9.2 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor
Statistics reported today. Employment in most major private-sector industries
changed little over the month. Government employment continued to trend down.

Household Survey Data

The number of unemployed persons (14.1 million) and the unemployment rate (9.2
percent) were essentially unchanged over the month. Since March, the number of
unemployed persons has increased by 545,000, and the unemployment rate has
risen by 0.4 percentage point. The labor force, at 153.4 million, changed
little over the month. (See table A-1.)

Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult men (9.1 percent),
adult women (8.0 percent), teenagers (24.5 percent), whites (8.1 percent), blacks
(16.2 percent), and Hispanics (11.6 percent) showed little or no change in June.
The jobless rate for Asians was 6.8 percent, not seasonally adjusted. (See tables
A-1, A-2, and A-3.)

The number of persons unemployed for less than 5 weeks increased by 412,000 in
June. The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks and over)
was essentially unchanged over the month, at 6.3 million, and accounted for 44.4
percent of the unemployed. (See table A-12.)

The civilian labor force participation rate was little changed in June at 64.1
percent. The employment-population ratio decreased by 0.2 percentage point to 58.2
percent. (See table A-1.)

The number of persons employed part time for economic reasons (sometimes referred
to as involuntary part-time workers) was essentially unchanged in June at 8.6
million. These individuals were working part time because their hours had been
cut back or because they were unable to find a full-time job. (See table A-8.)

In June, 2.7 million persons were marginally attached to the labor force, about
the same as a year earlier. (These data are not seasonally adjusted.) These
individuals were not in the labor force, wanted and were available for work, and
had looked for a job sometime in the prior 12 months. They were not counted as
unemployed because they had not searched for work in the 4 weeks preceding the
survey. (See table A-16.)

Among the marginally attached, there were 982,000 discouraged workers in June,
down by 225,000 from a year earlier. (These data are not seasonally adjusted.)
Discouraged workers are persons not currently looking for work because they
believe no jobs are available for them. The remaining 1.7 million persons
marginally attached to the labor force in June had not searched for work in the
4 weeks preceding the survey for reasons such as school attendance or family
responsibilities. (See table A-16.)

Establishment Survey Data

Total nonfarm payroll employment was essentially unchanged in June (+18,000).
Following gains averaging 215,000 per month from February through April,
employment has been essentially flat for the past 2 months. Employment in most
major private-sector industries changed little in June, while government
employment continued to trend down. (See table B-1.)

Within professional and business services, employment in professional and
technical services increased in June (+24,000). This industry has added 245,000
jobs since a recent low in March 2010. Employment in temporary help services
changed little over the month and has shown little movement on net so far this
year.

Health care employment continued to trend up in June (+14,000), with the largest
gain in ambulatory health care services. Over the prior 12 months, health care had
added an average of 24,000 jobs per month.

In June, employment in mining rose by 8,000, with most of the gain occurring in
support activities for mining. Employment in mining has increased by 128,000 since
a recent low in October 2009.

Employment in leisure and hospitality edged up (+34,000) in June and has grown by
279,000 since a recent low in January 2010.

Employment in government continued to trend down over the month (-39,000). Federal
employment declined by 14,000 in June. Employment in both state government and local
government continued to trend down over the month and has been falling since the
second half of 2008.

Manufacturing employment changed little in June. Following gains totaling 164,000
between November 2010 and April 2011, employment in this industry has been flat for
the past 2 months. In June, job gains in fabricated metal products (+8,000) were
partially offset by a loss in wood products (-5,000).

Construction employment was essentially unchanged in June. After having fallen
sharply during the 2007-09 period, employment in construction has shown little
movement on net since early 2010.

The average workweek for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls decreased by 0.1
hour to 34.3 hours in June. The manufacturing workweek for all employees decreased
by 0.3 hour to 40.3 hours over the month; factory overtime edged down by 0.1 hour
to 3.1 hours. The average workweek for production and nonsupervisory employees on
private nonfarm payrolls remained at 33.6 hours in June. (See tables B-2 and B-7.)

In June, average hourly earnings for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls
decreased by 1 cent to $22.99. Over the past 12 months, average hourly earnings
have increased by 1.9 percent. In June, average hourly earnings of private-sector
production and nonsupervisory employees declined by 1 cent to $19.41. (See tables
B-3 and B-8.)

The change in total nonfarm payroll employment for April was revised from +232,000
to +217,000, and the change for May was revised from +54,000 to +25,000.

Unemployment Is Now 9.2%, Gas Up 104%, Housing Is Way Down...,The Dollar Is Heading For Priceless. Thankis To Obama, Pelosi And Reed

The Democratic Party had a supper majority when Obama took office with both houses of congress. The Democratic Party got everything they wanted. The Republican Party had almost no power in our government. But that never stopped the Democrats from blaming them for everything.

We have gotten everything the Democratic Party wanted us to have. Now it is time to look at what the Democratic Party has given us has done to this country. It's all about the results, not the hype. We were promised everything from a stable housing market to lower health care costs. Obama and the Democratic Party had a blank check and they used it like no other admin. before. They sold it hard and many Americans bought into it.

We all know the Democratic Party and Obama went into this term with an open check book. They printed money with QE1 and QE2 and Wall Street got richer. Both QE's have failed to do anything for the middle class. But the crazies in the Democratic Party want to try it a third time and see if it does anything but devalue our money and make our food and other commodities we need to survive go up in price.  I don't care what Obama and the Democrats told us would happen if they got their liberal policies passed. We need to look at the results.

We need to throw the crazies out that think that just because QE1 and 2 failed doesn't mean that 3 or 4 wont work. If you know history you will know what these lunatics on the left are doing. So either Obama and the Democratic Party are crazy or trying to "fundamentally change America".Yes We Can and they did accomplish their mission.
