Obama is still blaming Bush for everything

Pres. Obama Describes Terrorist as 'Alleged', Extremist' Bomb 'Suspect'

A good solid B+

Yesterday Barack Obama finally commented on the Detroit undie bomber’s attempt to blow up flight 253. The president reported that he had the “suspect” arrested for the “alleged” bombing. Obama wont take responsability for anything. Janet Napolitano said everything worked and then Obama comes out and said it didn't work but it was Bush's fault and the CIA's fault. The Three Stooges were less of buffoons then this admin. I can't wait to hear what that brainiac Bidden thinks of all this "stuff". Even the liberals aren't cheering for their man and their party of buffoons as much anymore. Bush kept us safe after 9/11 but the Democrats are impowering our enemy with everything they do. All during the Bush terms the Democrats were saying we were loosing the war on terror and this is their way to be right. But it is their war on terror to loose not Bush's war. I think we will see a lot more terror in this country and it will all come from Muslims and the left wing.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney accused President Barack Obama on Tuesday of “trying to pretend we are not at war” with terrorists, pointing to the White House response to the attempted sky bombing as reflecting a pattern that includes banishing the term “war on terror” and attempting to close the Guantanamo Bay detention center.

“[W]e are at war and when President Obama pretends we aren’t, it makes us less safe,” Cheney said in a statement to POLITICO. “Why doesn’t he want to admit we’re at war? It doesn’t fit with the view of the world he brought with him to the Oval Office. It doesn’t fit with what seems to be the goal of his presidency – social transformation—the restructuring of American society.”

Jesus (Isa)

[4:157-158] And their saying; Surely we have killed the Messaih, Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in  a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, bu tonlu follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure. Nay! Allah took him up to Himself; and Allah is Mighty, Wise.

[4:171] O followers of the Book! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Isa, son of Marium is only an apostle of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His apostles and say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one God; far be it from His glory that He should have a son…

[5:17] surely they disbelieve who say: Surely, Allah – He is the Messiah, son of Marium…

Jews and Christians

[5:51] O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.

[9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!

Repentance

[4:17] Repentance with Allah is only for those who do evil in ignorance, then turn (to Allah) soon…

Punishment for the enemies of Allah

[2.191] And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers.

[4.76] Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Shaitan. Fight therefore against the friends of the Shaitan; surely the strategy of the Shaitan is weak.

[8.12] When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.

[9.5] So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

[9.14] Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace, and assist you against them and heal the hearts of a believing people.

[9:29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah… until they pay the tax in acknowledgement of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.

[9.123] O you who believe! Fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil).

[33.61] Cursed: wherever they are found they shall be seized and murdered, a (horrible) murdering.

Women and children

[4:3] … marry such women as seem good to you, two and three and four…

[4:11] Allah enjoins you concerning your children; the male shall have the equal of the portion of two females…

[4.34] Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.

CREATION

[6:2] He it is Who created you from clay…

[16:4] He created man from a small seed…

[96:2] He created man from a clot.

Politically Correct Is A Liberal Lie

Despite what you hear from the Politically Correct crowd, examine some of the facts about this so called peaceful and tolerant religion. Consider the following:
  • REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of Pan Am Flight 103!
  • REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993!
  • REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon!
  • REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the military barracks in Saudi Arabia!
  • REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the American Embassies in Africa!
  • REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the USS COLE!
  • REMEMBER the MUSLIM attack during the 1972 Olympics in Munich!
  • REMEMBER the MUSLIM attack on the Twin Towers on 9/11/01!
  • REMEMBER the MUSLIM attack on London, England on 7/7/05!
  • REMEMBER the MUSLIM attack using thousands upon thousands of car bombs used to kill civilians!
  • REMEMBER the MUSLIM suicide bombers used to kill civilians!
  • REMEMBER all the innocent lives that were lost in those vicious MUSLIM attacks!
Everyone of these actions were done in the name of Islam. How many times have we heard that the book of the Muslims - the Koran - professes peaceful teachings, tolerance, and love? How many of you have ACTUALLY read the Koran? When you read the passages below from the Koran maybe then you'll understand just what is really going on with Islam. It is the fastest spreading religion in this country and it is a very real danger. Despite what the "Left" is preaching, the United States was built on Judeo-Christian principles. You will not find any such principles in the bible as those seen below. So, read on, open your eyes, and ask yourself
"How can Islam be a peaceful religion when it commands its followers to do the following:
Revealing Suras (or Chapters) in the Koran and directly from the Arabic text Qur'an:

  • [2.191] And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers. And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. And fight not with them at the Inviolable Place of Worship until they first attack you there, but if they attack you (there) then slay them. Such is the reward of disbelievers.
  • [4.34] Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.
  • [4.76] Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Satan. Fight therefore against the friends of the Satan; surely the strategy of the Satan is weak.
  • [8.12] When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.
  • [9.5] When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they repent and take to prayer and render the alms levy, allow them to go their way.
  • [9.14] Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace, and assist you against them and heal the hearts of a believing people.
  • [9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!
  • [9.123] O you who believe! Fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil).
  • [22.39] Permission (to fight) is given to those upon whom war is made because they are oppressed, and most surely Allah is well able to assist them.
  • [33.61] Cursed: wherever they are found they shall be seized and murdered, a (horrible) murdering.
  • [47.4] So when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners...
  • [48.29] Muhammad is God's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another.

On Solitary Life

He was born in an obscure village,
The child of a peasant woman.
He grew up in another obscure village
Where he worked in a carpenter shop
Until He was thirty. One Solitary Life
He never wrote a book.
He never held an office.
He never went to college.
He never visited a big city.
He never traveled more than two hundred miles
From the place where He was born.
He did none of the things
Usually associated with greatness.
He had no credentials but Himself.
He was only thirty-three
When He died.
His friends ran away.
One of them denied Him.
He was turned over to His enemies
And went through the mockery of a trial.
He was nailed to a cross between two thieves.
While dying, His executioners gambled for His clothing,
The only property He had on earth.
When He was dead,
He was laid in a borrowed grave
Through the pity of a friend.
Twenty centuries have come and gone
And today Jesus is the central figure of the human race
And the leader of mankind’s progress.
All the armies that have ever marched,
All the navies that have ever sailed,
All the parliaments that have ever sat,
All the kings that ever reigned put together
Have not affected the life of mankind on earth
As powerfully as that One Solitary Life.
I didn’t know the origin of One Solitary Life until I researched it for this column. It was written by Dr. James Allan Francis in 1925 and later appeared in a book he compiled, The Real Jesus and Other Sermons, published by Judson Press in 1926.
Today, there are many versions extant of One Solitary Life, but this is my favorite. I hope you enjoyed seeing it again.
Merry Christmas

Airline Bomb Attack Foiled Over Detroit Metro Airport

DETROIT (AP) — A Northwest Airlines passenger from Nigeria, who said he was acting on al-Qaida's instructions, set off an explosive device Friday in a failed terrorist attack on the plane as it was landing in Detroit, federal officials said.
WATCH THE VIDEOS IN THE PLAYER TO GET A FULL REPORT FROM FOX 2'S ANDREA ISOM AND PASSENGER REACTION FROM SIMON SCHAYKET

Flight 253 with 278 passengers aboard was 20 minutes from the airport when it sounded like a firecracker had exploded, witnesses said. One passenger jumped over others and tried to subdue the man. Shortly afterward, the suspect was taken to a front row seat with his pants cut off and his legs burned.

The White House said it believed it was an attempted act of terrorism and stricter security measures were quickly imposed on airline travel, but were not specified.

Law enforcement officials identified the suspect as Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab. Others had slightly different spellings.

One law enforcement source said the man claimed to have been instructed by al-Qaida to detonate the plane over U.S. soil.

"It sounded like a firecracker in a pillowcase," said Peter Smith, a passenger from the Netherlands. "First there was a pop, and then (there) was smoke."

At least one passenger acted heroically.

Smith said the passenger, sitting opposite the man, climbed over passengers, went across the aisle and tried to restrain the man. The heroic passenger appeared to have been burned.

The incident was reminiscent of convicted shoe bomber Richard Reid, who tried to destroy a trans-Atlantic flight in 2001 with explosives hidden in his shoes, but was subdued by other passengers. Reid is serving a life sentence.

Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., ranking GOP member of the House Homeland Security Committee, said the flight began in Nigeria and went through Amsterdam en route to Detroit.
King identified the suspect as 23-year-old Abdul Mudallah of Nigeria, and King said Mudallah "definitely has connections" to Al Qaeda.
King said Mudallah was not on any terrorism watchlist.
"This could have been catastrophic," said King, speaking to "FOX Report" Friday night. "We were lucky on this one."

A statement Delta, which acquired Northwest, said, "Upon approach to Detroit, a passenger caused a disturbance onboard Northwest Airlines Flight 253. The passenger was subdued immediately and the crew requested that law enforcement meet the flight upon arrival.

"The flight, operated by Northwest using an Airbus 330-300 aircraft with 278 passengers onboard, landed safely. The passenger was taken into custody and questioned by law enforcement authorities."

The FBI and the Homeland Security Department issued an intelligence note on Nov. 20 about the threat picture for the 2009 holiday season from Thanksgiving through Jan. 1. At the time, intelligence officials said they had no specific information about attack plans by al-Qaida or other terrorist groups. The intelligence note was obtained by The Associated Press.

President Barack Obama was notified of the incident and discussed it with security officials, the White House said. It said he is monitoring the situation and receiving regular updates from his vacation spot in Hawaii.

There was nothing out of the ordinary about Flight 253 on Friday until it was on final approach to Detroit, said Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory. That is when the pilot declared an emergency and landed without incident shortly thereafter, Cory said. The plane landed at 12:51 p.m. EST.

One U.S. intelligence official said the explosive device was a mix of powder and liquid. It failed when the passenger tried to detonate it.

The passenger was being questioned Friday evening. An intelligence source said the Nigerian passenger was being held and treated in an Ann Arbor, Mich., hospital.

All the sources spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation was continuing.

The official said an official determination of a terrorist act would have to come from the attorney general. The official added that additional security measures were being taken without raising the airline threat level, but declined to describe them.

The White House was coordinating briefings for the president through the Homeland Security Department, the Transportation Security Administration and the FBI.

A law enforcement source said the explosives may have been strapped to the man's body but investigators weren't immediately certain, partly because of the struggle with other passengers.

One passenger from the flight was taken to the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, hospital spokeswoman Tracy Justice said. She didn't know the person's condition, or whether the person was a man or woman. She referred all inquiries to the FBI.

Passenger Syed Jafri, a U.S. citizen who had flown from the United Arab Emirates, said the incident occurred during the plane's descent. Jafri said he was seated three rows behind the passenger and
said he saw a glow, and noticed a smoke smell. Then, he said, "a young man behind me jumped on him."

"Next thing you know, there was a lot of panic," he said.

Rich Griffith, a passenger from Pontiac, said he was seated too far in the back to see what had happened. But he said he didn't mind being detained on the plane for several hours. "It's frustrating if you don't want to keep your country safe," he said. "We can't have what's going on everywhere else happening here."

J.P. Karas, 55, of Wyandotte, Mich., said he was driving down a road near the airport and saw a Delta jet at the end of the runway, surrounded by police cars, an ambulance, a bus and some TV trucks.

"I don't ever recall seeing a plane on that runway ever before and I pass by there frequently," he said.

Karas said it was difficult to tell what was going on, but it looked like the front wheel was off the runway.

"We encourage those with future travel plans to stay in touch with their airline and to visit http://www.tsa.gov/ for updates," Homeland Security Department said in a statement.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has been briefed on the incident and is closely monitoring the situation.

The department encouraged travelers to be observant and aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious behavior to law enforcement officials.

Parker Griffith Welcome To The Republican Party

Parker Griffith

Member of the U.S. House of Representatives
from Alabama's 5th district
Incumbent
Assumed office
January 3, 2009

Bud Cramer

I would like to be one of the first bloggers to welcome Parker Griffith to the Republican Party. This is a blow to the Democratic Party but they did it to themselves by becoming socialist in idealogy. We have been telling our readers of the fall of the Democratic Party and this is even more proof that the Democrats are on their way down and the Republican Parties future looks much brighter then the Democrats does. What are the political repercusions of this move by a promenent Democrat? I mean Republican. Will this impact health care reform? Is this the beginning of the end of the liberal movement? And will the Democrats come back from this major blow?

Even Keith Olbermann Thinks This Bill Sucks

On his MSNBC program Countdown, host Keith Olbermann delivered a special comment about the compromise healthcare reform bill. Olbermann said, “The Senate bill with mandate must be defeated, if not in the Senate then in the House.” If the bill passes, Olbermann called on his viewers to not buy insurance.
Here is the video:

Olbermann described the compromise bill as, “Seeking the least common denominator, Sen. Reid has found it, especially the least part. This is not health. This is not care. This is certainly not reform…The men of the current moment have lost to the mice of history. They must now not make the defeat worse by passing a hollow shell of a bill just for the sake of a big stage signing ceremony.”
He discusses the people who made this defeat possible, Chuck Grassley, Ben Nelson, Jim DeMint, and Max Baucus. Some of his harshest words were saved for Sen. Joe Lieberman and President Obama. On Lieberman Olbermann said, “He has been bought and sold by the insurance lobby. He has become a senatorial prostitute.”

Who Does This Health Care Bill Serve?

Lets take a close look at the health care reform bill as it morphs into the final bill. We know it serves the Democrat congressmen and women with large payoffs for votes. So far we know the right isn't happy with the form the bill has taklen thus far. The left aren't being servated by this bill as it doesn't fix the problems of coverage or cost. We know that we will be paying for this service but we wont get anything for it for over 4 years. Why the big hurry to pass a bill that wont start helping people for 4 years? They all admit that they are passing a half baked bad bill that doesn't do anything they wanted to accomplish. So why are they passing a bill in the dead of night that doesn't fix any of the problems they wanted to fix? Is this just another payoff to the Democratic constituance just like the Stimulus Bill did? If this was a noble bill then we should be able to read it before they pass it. If the bill is a good bill and good for we the people then it should hold up after we have 72 hrs. to look it over and make sure. I know most people like to test drive a car or at least know what they are getting before they buy it. And why can't Congress make a good and compleat bill? They have the 60 Democrats they need so it isn't about partisanship. We need time to read the bill just like the Senate needs the time. Both sides need to make sure this bill is a good bill. If it is a bad bill like the other bad bills they have passed the Democrats will be finished for a long time. And if it is a bad bill like the Porkulus bill we the people will be the ones paying for the Democrats mistakes. And when it comes down to them lieing to us about the bills I remeind you about the TARP Bill and that the paybacks were supposed to pay off our debt. But that was a lie and the Democrats wont use the money the way it was supposed to be used. The TARP money is now being used to make up for the sortcomings of the Porkulus Bill. Thes Gypsy Democrats in office right now are playing us for our future and both sides will lose. Their actions point to the fact that Congress is trying to snow us over with another fast one. We all need to read the bills because they will keep screwing us if we aren't given the chance to read them.
Senate Democrats are working overtime to get an Obamacare bill passed before Christmas. They no longer even pretend to be doing it to reform healthcare. Now they’re just doing whatever it takes to get a bill passed, even if it costs somewhere between $848 billion and $2.1 trillion, depending on which math you use.
Never mind that the Realclearpolitics.com average of polls shows that Americans oppose the Democrat’s healthcare bill by a 54.2 percent to 39.7 percent margin. Democrats have gone all in, as the saying goes, and nothing is going to stop them.
As an unnamed Democratic strategist told Byron York of The Washington Examiner, “Once you’ve gone this far, what is the cost of failure?”
Comparing Democrats to bank robbers—how appropriate—who have gone past the point of no return, the strategist said, “They’re in the bank, they’ve got their guns out. They can run outside with no money, or they can stick it out, go through the gunfight, and get away with the money.”
Of course, money is what it’s all about. Not saving it mind you, but stealing yours.
Sen. Dick Durbin (D.-Ill.) told The Hill that Democrats will have the 60 votes needed to pass a bill this week. They’re buying off reluctant Democrats left and right.
For Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu the price was $300 million in federal aid to her state. As columnist Charles Krauthammer said on Fox News, if Landrieu got $300 million, Sen. Ben Nelson (D.-Neb.)—said to be holding out for removal of a provision in the bill that allows federal funding to pay for abortions—gets a Caribbean island, or two. Or, if some news reports are correct, a threat to close a military base in his state if he doesn’t join in.
Sen. Joe Lieberman (I.-Conn.) is back on board. We don’t yet know what he got in return, aside from a lot of face time on television. In an effort to get one or more Republicans to sign on so the bill can be cast as bi-partisan, Maine Republican Senators Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe are being courted as well. Look for Maine to get a bundle of cash for snow plows or something.
Meanwhile, Joe and Jane Citizen only get dunned. If you are a family with an annual income above $88,200 and your employer doesn’t provide coverage, prepare to fork out $15,200 a year for a federally-mandated insurance fee, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) as reported by CNSNews.com. And few employers are going to provide coverage for their employees once the plan kicks in.
Why? There is an incentive not to. If employers don’t pay their share of their employees’ premiums they’ll have to pay $750 per employee fine. That’s much less than the employer contribution on a complete health plan.
What’s more, there are tax increases in the bill. Lots of them. According to the Heritage Foundation, Medicare taxes increase from 2.9 percent to 3.4 percent, the top marginal tax rate goes from 35 percent to 39.6 percent and, in the House version of the bill, a surtax of 5.4 percent is put on incomes above $500,000.
Following is a list from the Heritage Foundation of other tax increases currently in either the House or Senate bill or proposed by the Barack Obama administration to “pay” for healthcare reform:
  • An excise tax on high-cost "Cadillac" health insurance plans that cost more than $8,500 a year for individuals or $23,000 for families.
  • An excise tax on medical devices such as wheelchairs, breast pumps and syringes used by diabetics for insulin injections.
  • A cap on the exclusion of employer-provided health insurance without offsetting tax cuts.
  • A limit on itemized deductions for taxpayers with a top income tax rate greater than 28 percent.
  • A windfall profits tax on health insurance companies.
  • A value-added tax, which would tax the value added to a product at each stage of production.
  • An excise tax on sugar-sweetened beverages including non-diet soda and sports drinks.
  • Higher taxes on alcoholic beverages including beer, wine and spirits.
  • A limit on contributions to health savings accounts.
  • An 8 percent tax on all wages paid by employers that do not provide their employees health insurance that satisfies the requirements defined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
  • A limit on contributions to flexible spending arrangements.
  • Elimination of the deduction for expenses associated with Medicare Part D subsidies.
  • An increase in taxes on international businesses.
  • Elimination of the tax credits paper companies take for biofuels they create in their production process—the so-called “Black Liquor credit.”
  • Fees on insured and self-insured health plans.
  • A limit or repeal of the itemized deduction for medical expenses.
  • A limit on the Qualified Medical Expense definition.
  • An increase in the payroll taxes on students.
  • An extension of the Medicare payroll tax to all state and local government employees.
  • An increase in taxes on hospitals.
  • An increase in the estate tax.
  • Increased efforts to close the mythical “tax gap.”
  • A 5 percent tax on cosmetic surgery and similar procedures such as Botox treatments, tummy tucks and face lifts.
  • A tax on drug companies.
  • An increase in the corporate tax on providers of health insurance.
  • A $500,000 deduction limitation for the compensation paid by health insurance companies to their officers, employees and directors.
And the kicker is the taxes go into effect immediately after Obama signs the bill. The healthcare benefits don’t start until 2014.
All the taxes are designed to confiscate the wealth of Mr. and Mrs. Citizen and drive them into a public option—even as Senate Democrats say the bill doesn’t include one, yet.
On Dec. 16 the president went on television and said if Congress doesn’t pass a healthcare bill the Federal government will go bankrupt. Poppycock. If a healthcare bill is passed it’s Mr. and Mrs. Citizen that go belly up.
The spend-and-tax policies of Obama and the Democrats—stimulus bills, TARP bill, healthcare bill, etc.—are what is pushing us toward economic collapse.
Face it. The healthcare reform plan Democrats are ramming through is nothing more than the greatest transfer of wealth and most massive power grab in the history of the world.
Frankly, I don’t consider that much of a Christmas present.

War Ummm What Is It Good For?

4 presidential candidates join Afghan war protestWatch this anti war protest video 9:04
4 presidential candidates join Afghan war protest Why are the protesters putting on kid gloves with the Democrats? This President is as big a "warmonger" as Bush but the protests are very soft and nice for the most part. Those anti war protests didn't do one thing to effect the President and Congress. It didn't do anything to change the mind of we the people either. And where are the protests on single payer? How can we take a group serious that doesn't keep true to their "anti war values". The libs have proven once again that they are frauds.

Democrats Are Acting Desperate On Climate And Health Care Reform

The left wing Democrats are acting desperate in both the health care bill and the climate summit. Once they start pushing as hard as they are now on bothe climate and health care we know they have lost. This is the Democrats last chance to push our country into socialism based country like the EU. As a profesional salesman for over 14 years I know a hard sell when I see it. The Democrats know they are giving use some bad bills and they have to make this happen now or it will never happen. They know it will never happen because they know that the truth will come out about the product they are pushing on us. The Democrats know that the lid is coming off and that is why they are pushing for a now or never doomsday type hard sell on us. When the salesperson a gives you the "buy it know" pitch get up and walk away or you will regret your decision. If this health care bill is such a good buy for America why are they so afraid to give us time to read the bill? Lets start seeing these poloticians for what they are, profesional used car salespeople that must make these deal or else. And if they vote yes on a bill we or they have read then in 2010 we must get rid if those snakes.

Letter of Transmittal to the President of Congress

In Convention.  Monday September 17th 1787.
SIR:

We have now the honor to submit to the consideration of the United States in Congress assembled, that Constitution which has appeared to us the most advisable.

The friends of our country have long seen and desired that the power of making war, peace, and treaties, that of levying money, and regulating commerce, and the correspondent executive and judicial authorities, should be fully and effectually vested in the General Government of the Union; but the impropriety of delegating such extensive trust to one body of men is evident:  hence results the necessity of a different organization.

It is obviously impracticable in the Federal Government of these States to secure all rights of independent sovereignty to each, and yet provide for the interest and safety of all.  Individuals entering into society must give up a share of liberty to preserve the rest.  The magnitude of the sacrifice must depend as well on situation and circumstance, as on the object to be obtained.  It is at all times difficult to draw with precision the line between those rights which must be surrendered, and those which may be preserved; and, on the present occasion, this difficulty was increased by a difference among the several States as to their situation, extent, habits, and particular interests.

In all our deliberations on this subject, we kept steadily in our view that which appears to us the greatest interest of every true American, the consolidation of our Union, in which is involved our prosperity, felicity, safety--perhaps our national existence.  This important consideration, seriously and deeply impressed on our minds, led each State in the Convention to be less rigid on points of inferior magnitude than might have been otherwise expected; and thus, the Constitution which we now present is the result of a spirit of amity, and of that mutual deference and concession, which the peculiarity of our political situation rendered indispensable.

That it will meet the full and entire approbation of every State is not, perhaps, to be expected; but each will, doubtless, consider, that had her interest alone been consulted, the consequences might have been particularly disagreeable or injurious to others; that it is liable to as few exceptions as could reasonably have been expected, we hope and believe; that it may promote the lasting welfare of that Country so dear to us all, and secure her freedom and happiness, is our most ardent wish.

    With great respect,
we have the honor to be,
        SIR,
your excellency's most obedient and humble servants:
    GEORGE WASHINGTON, President.
By the unanimous order of the convention.

His Excellency
  the President of Congress.
