CHICAGO - An annual survey says charitable giving fell 3.6 percent last year as Americans continued to struggle with the recession.
The Giving USA Foundation reports that Americans donated $303.75 billion during 2009, the second-worst year since 1956, when the foundation started conducting its surveys.
Religious organizations received just more than $100 billion, or one-third of the total. That was down less than one percent from 2008.
The survey found that giving to human services, health, international affairs and environment and animal-related groups all saw increases in 2009, while donations to education, arts, culture and humanities organizations fell overall.
The reason the left always make everything about race is because they are trying to segregate the populations again. Since the civil rights movement the liberals have been taking race segregation from another direction. Before the civil rights movement with Dr.King black and white were segregate. But Dr.King changed that. Soon after the left wing took segregation from another angle. They pushed to have the blacks choose to segregate themselves from the whites. This is when we started seeing black only schools,BET and every other black only left wing segregationist ploy. Why would the left want segregation and how does it serve them and their purpose? We need to start seeing what the left wing as doing as segregation. They just found a form of segregation that is more palatable then the original form we had before the 60's. Look at who controls the race banter in the dialogue up until now. It's been the left. But I don't think the left wing is doing it because they are ma bunch of racist. They do it because it serves their left wing ideology. If people of color lived by the principles that Dr.King and the Bible taught the left would never have power in this country. The only way to fight the left wings attempts to divide and segregate us is to reach out like Dr.King did and integrate. When those brave black Americans went to the all white school in order to stop the segregation and did it with fear in their eyes. The civil rights movement was all about bringing all Americans together as one. Why now is it being pushed to have black only schools and universities? Why is the left trying so hard to undo what the civil rights movement did? And why is color always the main focus with the left? We need to speak out about the left wings use of race to divide us. The truth is coming out about who is using race for political gain. We need to stop the left wing from using race as a weapon to divide us.

The Houston Chronicle is reporting the Netherlands, a experienced oil producing nation, offered the United States help in dealing with the British Petroleum spill very quickly after it started, but the Obama Administration turned them down, opting instead to coordinate with BP to stop the spill and contain the damage. Made worse, with the Obama administration threatening criminal and civil prosecution of British Petroleum as well as Obama refusing to keep open communication with British Petroleum’s CEO, the coordinated efforts of the company and government could go nowhere with no one talking to each other.
Compounding all of this is a U.S. law “that requires all goods be carried in U.S. waters by U.S.-flagged ships, … prevent[ing[ Dutch ships with spill-fighting equipment from entering U.S. coastal areas.”
Barack Obama wanted so hard to run from this disaster lest he be forced to accept responsibility for it has led to untold ecological and economic destruction. Obama is so over his head with the job of being president of America. He needs help and he is too arrogant to take any. The Democratic party pick a real lame duck with this one. He can't get anything right.

All the liberals are welcome to bring their communist flags if they want and celebrate against the American flag. We conservatives will be honoring what the flag represent unlike the flag burnings the liberals plan on having. I'm sure the left wing will be there protesting our patriotism and our freedoms of speech.
This man is a left wing racist. It is just another video of the left wing bullying us Tea Partiers. This man first put his hand on a women and then sucker punched the man for telling him to leave his wife alone. These liberals keep coming unhinged and I'm sure it will only get worse. Obama did say to get in the Tea Partiers faces. I just wish just once one of these POS liberals would try that bullying crap with me. So far the white liberals have beaten up the black conservatives and the black liberals have beaten up our white women and white men. I'm sure the liberals on this blog will see the racism in what the left are doing. And since there has yet to be one incident of a tea partier being violent I'm expecting an apology from the bloggers on the left. And the next time the left try and make a big deal about some guns being brought to a rally they will understand why. It's because you liberals are fricken violent towards us. The next time you are at a Tea Party rally be ready for some violence from the left. And if by change a liberal lashes out in violence at a Tea Party surround them and make sure they will never do it again. The man that pushed this women and punched this man is less then a man and he needs to be taught a lesson in jail.
The far left aren't getting what they wanted or expected from the government and that is setting them off. The media has used it's air time to warn America of the 'dangerous right wing tea partiers' while ignoring the real dangerous left wing. This is a blatant lie by the media and that is why fewer Americans trust the media now. Do they think we wouldn't notice which side is becoming violent? Did they think that playing the loops of the few times the far right has gotten violent would work forever? The Democratic Party has given a home and a place in their party for these kind of radical revolutionaries. As the Republican Party has it's rebirth into conservative founding principles,the Democratic Party is ripping itself apart from the inside. The Republican party has always distanced itself from Tim McVeigh type right wing radicals. But those same kind of Tim McVeigh radicals are in the Obama admin. Why would the Obama admin put radicals in such a place of power in his admin? Someone from the left must be able to explain all this to us right of center Americans. Why is the media and the Democratic party harboring these far left revolutionaries?
Try and find a president of the USA that hasn't had the American flag or flags as a backdrop. Maybe someone forgot to put the flags behind him. Kind of like how he forgot to put his hand over his heart for the pledge of allegiance when he was a senator. Any of you that think that President Obama meant to do this because he hates America and everything we stand for then you don't have a clue. President Obama love America so much he is "fundamentally transforming" it. Isn't that what you do to something you love?
