71% Of Americans Are Angry At The Federal Government

Violent Protest Anti-WTO Conference Geneva  Video of how liberals act when angry. And not one arrest of a Tea Party protester. This will help you on the left define anger and the diference between and angry liberal and an angry conservative. Mohatma Gondhi was a conservative protester and he defeated England and he brought peace to the Muslim/Hindu Indians.

Seventy-one percent (71%) of voters nationwide say they’re at least somewhat angry about the current policies of the federal government. That figure includes 46% who are Very Angry.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only 27% are not angry about the government's policies, including 10% who are Not at All Angry.
Men are angrier than women, and voters over 40 are more angry than those who are younger. A majority of those over 40 are Very Angry. Only 25% of under-30 voters share that view.
The data suggests that the level of anger is growing. The 71% who are angry at federal government policies today is up five percentage points since September.
Even more stunning, the 46% who are Very Angry is up 10 percentage points from September.
Among the nation’s Political Class, just six percent (6%) are angry. However, among those with more Mainstream, or populist, views, 85% are angry. A majority of Americans today hold views that can be described as Mainstream or populist. Very few align with the Political Class (see more information on this divide).
(Want a free daily e-mail update? If it's in the news, it's in our polls). Rasmussen Reports updates are also available on Twitter or Facebook.
Fifty-two percent (52%) of voters nationwide believe neither Republican nor Democratic political leaders have an understanding of what is needed today. That frustration is down eight points from 60% in September.
Sixty-five percent (65%) of Republicans and 59% of unaffiliated voters say that neither party has the answers. Those percentages are down significantly since September. Democrats remain fairly evenly divided as they were in September.
This unhappiness with government policies and leaders is reflected in numerous other Rasmussen Reports surveys. Americans, for example, now view being a member of Congress as the least respected job one can hold. President Obama's job approval ratings also have suffered in the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll.
The latest numbers show that only nine percent (9%) of voters trust the judgment of America’s political leaders more than the judgment of the American people. Seventy-four percent (74%) place more trust in the wisdom of the crowd.
Seventy-one percent (71%) believe the federal government has become a special interest group that looks out primarily for its own interests. Sixty-eight percent (68%) believe that government and big business work together in ways that hurt consumers and investors.
Opposition to the health care plan proposed by the president and congressional Democrats remains high. Voters continue to oppose the government bailouts of General Motors and Chrysler, and a growing number now believe their taxes will go up during the Obama years.

  2. Joe I'm more forgiving then you are. Are you trying to say that Gandhi wasn't a great conservative leader? Or are you saying he was a bad man because he wasn't a Christian? And the Hindu and Muslims he had the same thing to say about them. Remember all the riots and killing they did before Gandhi went on a hunger strick to stop them? For all men have fallen short of the glory of God. Joe, you are so myopic and prejudgous it is scary. Stop acting like you are so much about everyone else in the world.

  3. I would be interested in hearing who Joey's heros are. If you can't stand Jesus Christ, Ghandi, or Christians, who do you look up to Joey? Again, no man is perfect, including Ghandi. But then again, I don't hear any of them claiming to be... I guess they left that to you to claim.

Joey, aren't you the one who claimed to love homosexuals, but then you insinuated in clear terms that homosexuals are pedophiles? I can look that up again for you if you like.

  6. Joey - Sorry, I noticed that I shouldn't have said that you couldn't stand Ghandi, you said nothing of the sort.

One other comment, totally unrelated I realize, but I'm interested - When are you going to start your blog? It's easy enough to tear down another person's creation, but it's quite another to build something up on your own and then give others a shot at tearing yours down.

Anyway, I would be interested in reading a blog of yours, as long as it wasn't some hate-filled rag like Bruce's used to be. Give it some thought Joey. It's pretty easy to start a blog.

  7. Chris - I clicked on the Build-a-Bear Workshop, but something is confusing me. Shouldn't the Patriotic Pup automatically come with a Wealth-Redistributing Obama? You know, he could be reaching into Patriotic Pup's pocket for PP's hard-earned cash. Or maybe holding PP up at gunpoint? That's the patriotic way!

  8. Look at obamas poll numbers. 71% of Americans are angry with the govt. Once again the liberals like Bruce and Joey are on the fringe of society. It's amazing how fast the public turned on the Dumb-o-crats. It looks like that cop killer was an obama supporter. It's alsways the liberals that snap and kill someone.

  9. Herb, I think you may be misreading the numbers. 71% of Americans are angry with the government, includes Republicans. Though you may want to exclude Republicans from "the government" my read is that Americans are angry with the inaction of their government to address the problems facing us.

As far as the cop killer being an Obama supporter, what difference does that make? Where did you get that information? I'm sure it was Fox News.

  10. Reckless spending by this Administration and raising of the Defecit to RECORD amounts has got Many Citizens Concerned and they should be.
Tea Partys and Townhall meetings opened up both Politicans and Citizens EYES to what is OCCURRING and what this Administrations AGENDA is and that is DESTROYING the ECONOMY!
This Administration has Control both houses of Congress and Presidency and still has TROUBLE with all of its Programs.
I would think that Administrations AGENDA had us in the Global Community by NOW but Citizens are NOT going to let that HAPPEN and they will Fight this Administration every step of the way. 2010 Elections GOD willing will Sweep alot of this Socialist Agenda out and 2012 will make this President Jimmy Carter all over again!

Jefferson: A GOVERNMENT Power enough to give Citizens everything is POWERFUL enough to TAKE it ALL away!

  11. Bruce 3/4 of the govt is Democrat right now. Keep licking glass little buddy. Just like the people blamed the Republicans when Bush was president they will do the same to the Democrats. Things didn't turn out the way you planed did it? Obama and the Democrats are sucking more then the Republicans did. Well at least Barak Hussein Obama is a warmonger now. That must make you moist thinking about that. lol

  12. Remember folks, these are polls of likely voters, not any idiot on the street!

The number of Americans identifying themselves as Democrats fell by nearly two percentage points in November. Added to declines earlier in the year, the number of Democrats in the nation has fallen by five percentage points during 2009.

In November, 36.0% of American adults said they were Democrats. That’s down from 37.8% a month ago and the lowest number of Democrats since December 2005. See the History of Party Trends from January 2004 to the present.

The number of Republicans inched up by just over a point in November to 33.1%. That’s within the narrow range that Republicans have experienced throughout 2009 - from a low of 31.9% to a high of 33.6%.

The number of adults not affiliated with either party grew half a point last month to 30.8%.

Despite the changes, there are still more Democrats than Republicans in the nation. But the gap is down to 2.9 percentage points, the smallest since December 2007.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -12 (see trends).

Voters remain more confident in Republicans than in Democrats this month on virtually all of the key electoral issues regularly tracked by Rasmussen Reports.

Republican candidates have a seven-point lead over Democrats for the second straight week in the latest edition of the Generic Congressional Ballot.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 44% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 37% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent. Support for the candidates from both parties remains unchanged from last week.

Republicans have held the lead for over four months now. Democrats currently have majority control of both the House and Senate.
Voters not affiliated with either party continue to heavily favor Republicans, 43% to 24%.

Oh, and how's that stimulus working!?! - Economic confidence among America's small business owners plummeted in November, as more owners cited serious concerns about cash flow and saw economic conditions for their own businesses getting worse. The Discover(R) Small Business Watch(SM)index fell 12 points in November to 76.5 from 88.5 in October.

-- 52 percent of owners say they have experienced cash flow issues in the past 90 days, up from 44 percent in October. Forty-one percent of owners say they have not experienced cash flow issues, which is the lowest response in this category since the Watch began. The remaining 6 percent said they weren't sure.

-- 53 percent of small business owners see conditions getting worse in the next six months, up from 43 percent in October; while 19 percent report that conditions are improving, a sharp decline from 29 percent in October; 23 percent see conditions as the same, and 5 percent weren't sure.

-- 62 percent of small business owners rate the economy as poor, an increase from 55 percent in October; 30 percent rate it as fair, and 8 percent say it is good or excellent.

-- 53 percent of small business owners think the overall economy is getting worse, up from 44 percent in October but still significantly lower than the 69 percent of owners who felt that way in February 2009, the last time the Watch index was this low. For November; 28 percent say the economy is getting better, down from 35 percent in October; 16 percent see it staying the same, and 3 percent are not sure.

  16. John, next week. I haven't figured out what i want to say. Kind of in limbo right now.

Chris, i love Gandhi. He's cool, but to call him a conservative is little weird. Its not like he's a religious nut who demands religious dogma as state law, that would be the religious right and the Taliban. Your wing of the republican party has more in common with them than Gandi and i don't see you holding them up as your brethern in conservatism.

Herb, thats funny. Wow...we always snap and kill people...lol.try this on for size buddy..

Wycoff did not argue with prosecutors' assertion that he had killed the couple because he thought they were too liberal, were "too easy" on their children and hadn't invited him over for Christmas.

How do you like them crazy righties..or perhaps Richard Poplawski, the rightwing gun nut who killed three cops. Is he any better than this other POS?
