Even Gibbs Is Paying Attention To Sarah Palin

Gibbs Mocks Palin's 'Hand Notes'

AP: Robert Gibbs showed the words "hope" and "change" on his hand as he started his daily briefing with reporters on Tuesday.
Why is the left so focused on going after Sarah Palin? Palin already made fun of herself and Gibbs took the same joke. How lame of him. I think it is great that they are giving her all that free press. I wish the bullypulpit would bash the Tea Party more. We could use the free advertising. Gibbs is just impowering her and the Tea Party.
Michelle Obama defended her husband against some of his most vocal critics, saying President Obama did a "phenomenal" job this year and that change is a long-term process.

"I think my husband has done a phenomenal job staying on course, looking his critics in the eye, coming up with clear solutions against staying the course," Michelle Obama told Robin Roberts in an exclusive morning television interview on "Good Morning America." "That's what leadership is. But people have the right to criticize the President of the United States."
Michelle Obama gave her some free time also. Man are these people afraid of her or what? Why else are they all talking about her non-stop? I like Palin more every day. She has put more fear and anger then anyone else has. What a powerful women to be able to be of such focus by the White House and Democrats. 2012 is a long ways away and she has time to brush up on whats happening. If they are scared of her now I can't wait till Nov.2010 and 2012.
Michelle Obama's comments came in response to recent criticism from Sarah Palin who told TEA Party conventioneers in Nashville, Tenn., this weekend she wants to ask Obama supporters, "How is that hope-y, change-y stuff working out for you?"

"Rightfully, some people are frustrated, right?" Michelle Obama said. "But one of the things that Barack Obama said and continues to say is change isn't easy and it doesn't happen overnight. And it certainly doesn't happen in a year.

"It's not, he's not done yet. He's got more time," she said.
The White House can't even get their jabs to work the way they thought.

  1. Palin's hand job just shows all of us what kind of dullard we are up against. WOW and some call her a leader....please.

  2. Chris, everyone is making fun of her. Only Gretchen Carlson on Fox and Friends came up with a positive spin to this embarrassing incident for Palin.

If you are still defending Sarah Palin and think she is Presidential material, you are more pathetic than even I could have imagined.

The WHOLE Administration Should Have it On there Hands! Libs Think it Pathitic and Embarressing BUT Some How NOBAMA Using Telepromter to Speak to 1st Graders is OK! Example That Citizens Will SEE for What it IS by THIS Administration, Whats GOOD for the Gander AINT Good for the GOOSE! Voters Aint Dumb and Once Again Thank You Mister President CAUSE You and Your Party Have WOKE Up Voters/Citizens and NOW See How Progresses Think!

  5. Yes everyone is talking about her. If she was really all the things you on the left say she is then why keep talking about her. You would just ignore her. Obama even has his wife going Chicago style on her. How weak is that? He has to have his wife and Gibbs fight his battles with a women you all think is inept. Palin isn't running for president put it is obvious she has you Democrats running scared. or you wouldn't be acting scared. I find it funny. Sarah Palin and the TEA Party have more faverable ratings approval then Obama and the Democrats in Congress. 75% of Independent voters like myself think possitively about the Tea Party movement. I think your anti war riots only got about 23% in the best years. It really must suck to be a Democrat.lol

  7. AL you are right. He did put on Hope and Change. Did you hear the non laughter over the jabb? I feel sorry for the people that put some much time, energy and hope into Obama and the Democrats. As much as they make fun of Palin she is still looked at on a posative maner by most Americans. Obama and the Democrats are just jealous of her success and their lack of it.

  8. I think it's funny that Obummer says to play nice and then sends his boy Gibbs to make a dig. That's been Obummer's M.O. since he has been in office, he plays "good cop" and then sends his lackeys out to be "bad cop". Maybe Obummer didn't know Gibbs was going to do it, but Gibb's maneuver just shows how classless these people have made the Office of the President. He should be ashamed of himself for taking up valuable time with this partisan b.s. going after a Fox Analyst and private citizen, during a press conference. Just shows these people take nothing seriously, except maybe their golf games. Especially since Obummer was at the very same Presser talking about working with the Republicans. Seems pretty hypocritical to me, but once again just par for the course.

The only people I see caring about what Palin is saying is the lefties like FAILk. You would think they wouldn't want to keep bringing up the fact that their President requires tele-prompters to talk to 6-year olds and his own cabinet, while Palin only needs a few notes scribbled on one of her hands to give a 45-minute speech. LOL

  9. To Everyone in South East Michigan,

The next MEDEFCO meeting is on the 23rd of Feb. at the Barrister Gardens @ Harper just North of where Little Mack merges into it. ( about 8 1/2). The guy let's us use one of the banquet rooms on a night when it isn't rented out every month , free of charge, because he is a supporter.

The next 2 meetings are already scheduled, both for the 23rd (Feb. & March), then I think April's is going to be on the 15th, but I'm not sure. They are trying to line up all of the gubernatorial candidates from both party's to speak.

Give me a call if you need to, and try to line up a couple of friends to come. You can post it on your blog if you want to. I'm going to put it on mine too ...

I'll be there and so will Brian. I hope to see many of you there.

  10. This is interesting. Doesn't bode well for the Hypocrats. They've really screwed themselves:

    From Rasmussen:

Sixty-three percent (63%) say it would be better for the nation if most incumbents lost their job this November.

Just 38% believe their own representative in Congress deserves to be re-elected and just 27% believe their representative is the best person for the job.

  12. Obama is just too wishy washy. On most issues like war, debt,'torturing' terrorist, closing Gitmo, viable health care reform and anything else you can think of he hasn't made him promises and campain retoric come through. He is no different then Bush is as far as his agenda. What has Obama done different then Bush? I'm glade he changed his mind of leaving Iraq, not closing Gitmo, withholding medical treatment in order to get info out of the prisoner. I'm glade the infighting with the Democrats stoped this stupidest bill of them all, health care reform. I didn't like Bush's liberal spending and liberal debt. And now that Obama has taken that Bush debt and made it 4 times worse I hate it 4 times worse. And the thing I find funniest is the hypocracy from the left on these issues. If it was a Republican doing these things they would be up in arms. No wonder no one takes them seriously.

  13. Gibbs better be careful writing on his hand. He probably now has two places to scrub to get the ink off. And one of the places would hurt to scrub.

  14. Sounds like Gibbsy's rhetoric and little digs are grinding on the press:

    http://www.politico.com/click/stories/1002/press_room_laughter_dies_down.html

The White House press room was a jovial place to be in the early days of President Barack Obama's presidency. But times have changed.

Back in May, POLITICO analyzed the press briefings and found that the instances of laughter — as indicated by "(Laughter)" being noted in the official transcript — occurred more than 10 times per day during press secretary Robert Gibbs's briefings.

But the laughter has been reduced by half in recent months: In the first six months of the Obama administration, briefings produced an average of 179 laughs per month. Over the past six months, the average has dropped down to 89.

Chalk it up to the close of any administration's initial honeymoon — and the Obama administration's tough second half of 2009, as it wrestled with health care and saw the late Ted Kennedy's U.S. Senate seat filled by a Republican.

"The tone is one reason for less laughter," says American Urban Radio's April Ryan. "There are lots of serious questions begging for serious answers. Those questions do not meld with laughter and light banter."

But there's also some frustration a-brewing among press corps members.

"There definitely aren't a lot of laughs around the briefing room these days," says Washington Examiner White House correspondent Julie Mason. "Robert's LITTLE DIGS AND EVASIONS (emphasis mine) have lost their power to amuse — particularly since we haven't had a presser since July."

Mason also reports frustration in the ranks: "Reporters know how close the press secretary is to the president, and yet the quality of the information we get doesn't often reflect that."

Obama has surrounded himself with incompetents. But he is still the head incompetent.

  16. How come we hear nothing from the left about Obama's illegal war in Pakistan? Killing terrorists with missiles shot from drones with no Miranda rights and no trial? Using Fealk logic that is grounds for impeachment.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Barack H Obama has been bombing the shit out of Pakistan. Where is the left wing Hypocrat protesters now? BFealk hasn't got logic, friends or common sense. Since Barack H Obama is just like Bush but even worse. Maybe we should start calling him H. like they did for W.

  18. This one cracks me up Herb. I'm sure it was just a mis-spoken moment, or maybe it was a Freudian slip, I'll let you be the judge. Another classic "H" moment. The kind which, if uttered by "W" would have been the subject of MSM hand-wringing and jokes to no end.

    Obamateurism of the Day
    FEBRUARY 10, 2010
    BY ED MORRISSEY

One definition of gaffe is “the accidental telling of an embarrassing truth by a politician.” If so, then this quote from Barack Obama last week caught by Glenn Reynolds certainly qualifies (emphasis mine):

Obama said he would attempt to convince his party’s left wing to take a less ideological approach to economic challenges.

“We’ve got to make sure that our party understands that, LIKE IT OR NOT, we have to have a financial system that is healthy and functioning, so we can’t be demonizing every bank out there,” Obama said. “We’ve got to be the party of business, small business and large business, because they produce jobs.”

Er, “like it or not”? Who exactly doesn’t want the US to have a healthy, functioning financial system? Apparently, it’s the same people demonizing banks in order to blame them for the financial crisis that was mainly caused by Congressional mandates on loose lending for homes. In other words … Democrats. And in the context of this quote, it’s clear that Barack Obama understands that as well.

  23. Now this one is hilarious as well. This guy from Media Matters wrote an article about how Drudge wouldn't post anything about the warm weather in Vancouver for the Olympics. Only problem is that this weather is typical for Vancouver, and Drudge DID post on this several days ago, according to the comments. Another blatant lie from the leftards. And now the author is blocking comments calling him out on his stupidity. BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHA ... check out the story and the comments.

  26. Dear Friend:

I'm writing to call your attention to a very important race for the U.S. Senate and to ask for your help.

As you know, Marco Rubio, the former state Speaker of the House, is running against Governor Charlie Crist for the open U.S. Senate seat in Florida. Marco Rubio is a principled conservative but his opponent is an Arlen Specter Republican.

As chairman of the Senate Conservatives Fund, I'm organizing a "money bomb" to raise support for Marco Rubio's campaign. This fundraising sprint will conclude this Wednesday, February 10 so please join me by making a contribution today at RubioMoneyBomb.com.

The outcome of this race in Florida is critical. It's a choice between a candidate who will consistently stand up and fight for limited government and more freedom, and one who has been too quick to compromise for political gain.

On February 10, 2009, Governor Crist cleared his schedule to stand on a stage with President Obama in Ft. Meyers, Florida. Governor Crist used the opportunity to embrace the President and campaign for the $787 billion stimulus bill.

One year later, we have a mountain of new debt and millions of lost jobs. This is not the kind of record voters should reward with a seat in the United States Senate.

This is why we have chosen February 10 as the date for the money bomb for Marco Rubio. We have set a goal of raising $100,000, which will begin to provide him with the resources he needs to fight the false and misleading attacks Governor Crist is making against him.

Thousands of Americans recently supported a money bomb for Senator Scott Brown in Massachusetts, which raised $1.3 million for his campaign in just 24 hours. If we can raise just a fraction of that amount for Marco Rubio's campaign, it will give him the funds he needs to win.

If the Massachusetts Senate race taught us anything, it's that voters want leaders who will stand up for common-sense, conservative principles. Marco Rubio is that kind of leader. He will fight to stop the massive spending, bailouts, and takeovers that are being forced on us by politicians in Washington.

Marco Rubio believes in constitutional limits, a balanced budget, and individual liberty. These are not radical ideas. They are the principles of freedom that have made America great, and we desperately need new leaders in the Senate like Marco Rubio who will fight to defend them.

  30. Herb,
thats funny. I like that Obama is punishing the ashit outta the taliban and al Quadda in afghanistan. W was too reluctant and waited too mnay years to really start doing it.

Lol, you should call him H, because that is the least of things he gets called. Besides he was called W by supporters too. I remember the bumper stickers for him using it.

Like many liberals, i have always agreed with going into Afghanistan after 9/11 and taking care of the taliban and al quadda. I didn't approve of taking your eye of the ball and going after Iraq. I still disapprove of the lies and untruths that got us into iraq and cost us so many of our young men.

I voted for Obama knowing full well that he would turn our attention back to Afhganistan and tackle the mess left their after 8 years of little effort by the previous admin. I thought that was the right thing to do. It was afer all Afghanistan that helped to make 9/11 not iraq.
