Dan Rather: “Obama couldn’t sell watermelons” [Video]
DAN RATHER: Part of the undertow in the coming election is going to be President Obama's leadership. And the Republicans will make a case and a lot of independents will buy this argument. "Listen he just hasn't been, look at the health care bill. It was his number one priority. It took him forever to get it through and he had to compromise it to death." And a version of, "Listen he's a nice person, he's very articulate" this is what's been used against him, "but he couldn't sell watermelons if it, you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic."
Bruce we heard about the earthquake in Turkey. Is everything OK?I still pray for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteHOLY COW, couldn't sell watermelon? Wonder of Sharpton will give Rathers a pass on this?
ReplyDeleteAnd compromised it to death?
LMAO!
Danny boy and his talking points on Mathews show no less. I wonder how many times they had to rehearse that one?
This is racism. I have been seeing a lot more racism from the Democrats. If Al Sharpton doesn't do anything about it then he is an ass. I hope they all come out and say how wrong it was to say such a thing. I know I brought this to many black leaders attention. If they say nothing then the are Uncle Thoms.
ReplyDeleteLets See What Rangel and Jackson Have To Say. I Would Think They Would as SOON as Possible Call Rather Out on His Statement and DEMAND a Apology From Rather! Dont Think Mathews Was Wetting His Pants This TIME!
ReplyDeleteAl Sharpton won't say a thing! He can't afford to upset his gravytrain. Those "Liberal Fools" don't have any convictions or let-alone standards of conduct that they live by.
ReplyDeleteThe only way that, he could have made that comment worse is if he had mentioned chicken. It is disgusting to see someone that has such a low level of credibility given time to comment on anything. Nice post I like your blog!
ReplyDeleteIf he'd only said boiled peanuts instead of watermelons, nobody would'a cared. Shows how his mind works.
ReplyDeleteDan Rather doesn't represent the Democratic party. Yes, someone should call him out, but why is anyone saying he represents Democrats?
ReplyDeleteYou just take anything and try to attach it to the Democratic party.
Bruce, Rush Limbaugh does not represent the Republican party so why does everyone say he does?
ReplyDeleteIs it not Rather that cooked up the National Guard story on Bush? I do not believe he risked and lost his career on behalf of himself but the democrats. Seems pretty clear as to why people would believe he in fact does represent the party.
The Democrats can dish it out but they can't take it can they? They attach everybody, even the left wing nutcase that shot up the Pentagon, on the Republican party. But when a left wing says something stupid they either pin them to us or denigh them all together.
ReplyDeleteThat Great Conservative Network msNBC is The Same As a State Run Government Control Network!
ReplyDeleteOverbite and MadCow are What? Conservatives!
Chis As Usual You Tell The Facts, Bruce, as Usual Have Not a Clue!
Bruce, true Rather doesn't represent the Democrat Party, and as Christopher, neither does Rush.
ReplyDeleteBut Rather is left of center on issues of today and the Dems are fully aware that they have a high profile figure speaking well on left issues... But in this case he just kicked in the teeth of the left.
LOL, right on Mark! I love that "he just kicked in the teeth of the left", LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhen Danny-boy started talking about watermelons, I wonder if just for that moment Chris Matthews was able to forget that Dan Rather was white?!? LOL
Comrade Bruce, aren't you just the funniest, fattest, smelliest little thing?! LOL
ReplyDeleteDan Rather sure isn't a Republican. He's your racist Comrade Bruce!! I wonder if he and Chris Matthews get their white hoods at the same shop you do Comrade Bruce? LOL
