Massa Just Another Democrat Buffoon
Massa didn't say anything we didn't already know. Glenn Beck tried to get Massa to talk but he said nothing new. I think they guy is a little loopy. He didn't name names but was just attacking the Democrats,Rahm and Obama in general. The White House said Massa is lieing. I don't believe either the Democrats or Massa for obvious reasons. He makes some inflamitory accusations on everything Democrat in Washington. I wouldn't waist your time watching the Glenn Beck interview.

I saw that and I think Beck handled it wrong. He was looking for Massa to jump ship and tell the dirty secrets. Unfortunetely, a politician may know what Pelosi means when she says "vote this way or else" but it doesn't mean anything it court. "He said/she said" isn't what he was looking for but that's all there is to this story. He won't find any big secrets, those politicians know how to hide the bodies.
ReplyDeletethis strikes me just like the Nick Smith republican bribery turned extortion for votes. Remember how Smith was told his boy would get campaign help if he voted the party line and when he didn't they threatened him with his son never getting elected.
ReplyDelete"On the House floor, Nick Smith was told business interests would give his son $100,000 in return for his father's vote. When he still declined, fellow Republican House members told him they would make sure Brad Smith never came to Congress. After Nick Smith voted no and the bill passed, [Rep.] Duke Cunningham of California and other Republicans taunted him that his son was dead meat."
So in other words Obama is just politics as usual instead of "Change"? It looks like Obama said whatever you people would believe and then did thingsa the Chicago way. Which is politics on steroids. I think the left wing might be right when they keep saying Obama is no different then Bush, just a little meaner.
ReplyDeleteDo i think that Obama is running roughshod over the mamby-pamby democrats in the house, hell yes. This has the fingerprints of Rahm all over it.
ReplyDeleteBut you and i disagree about how bad this is. Obama came talking about accomplishing things and he's not letting his own party stop that. Bush was probably worse but he left it to Dick Cheney and the Hammer. He never had the balls to back a man down in public. Pelosi and Harry Reid don't have the stones either, not like Tom Delay or Dick Cheney. Delay didn't "earn" the name Hammer for nothing.
I think Obama has some brass ones and doesn't need to let proxies carryout the political end of things, like Bush did. Sure he uses Rahm and Gibbs but judging by the SOTU speech he'll never be the type to let his underlings make the statments. If he wants you to know he is differing from you, he'll make it known.
I prefet it to having Dick Cheney work through Bush. No need for a puppet master then...:)
Nobamas Brass Balls Are Im Afraid Plastic! He Does What He Does Because the Left Loons are Really Angry with Him Cause His Plastic Balls Keep Failing Them! ReplyDeleteThe President should not be writing legislation. Very disturbing. His job is to enforce the laws. When we have the President writing the laws he wants, and ignoring the laws written by Congress (are y'all aware of this practice? Can't remember what they call it, but when the President signs a law, he makes notes about parts that he will not be enforcing. Started with Reagan I believe. I say it's total bullshit) we have a serious problem.
ReplyDeleteCongress should be pursuing the agenda as dictated by their constituents, not based on what one person says. No matter if the majority elected him or not. It's Congress' job to write the laws, not to follow the President around like they're his personal bitches. Give me a break. What has happened to this country?
Source Watch lists Madison as the first president to issue singing statements.
ReplyDeletehere's a quote from their page on it...
Through July 11, 2006, George W. Bush had objected to 807 provisions in 5 1/2 years as president. As the graph below indicates, this figure dwarfs that of any other president in U.S. history. In fact, it is greater than all previous forty-one presidents combined, who totaled slightly less than 600.
His yearly average was 146 and his fathers was 58, topping Reagans 8 and Clintons 17.
Wow, interesting, I didn't realize it went back as far as Madison! How funny that I pinned it on Reagan and he used it the least. Thanks for looking it up.
