Obama Is Call All Minorities Into Action. Why Is It All About Race And Gender With This Guy?

div class="post-header-line-1">
Politico: The Democratic National Committee this morning released this clip of the president rallying the troops, if rather coolly, for 2010. Obama's express goal: "reconnecting" with the voters who voted for the first time in 2008, but who may not plan to vote in the lower-profile Congressional elections this year.
Obama speaks with unusual demographic frankness about his coalition in his appeal to "young people, African-Americans, Latinos, and women who powered our victory in 2008 [to] stand together once again."                                                                          This President is by far the most racially divisive President I've ever seen. What if we had a President that called for white men to "stand up and stand together once again"? Would that be racially divisive? Does this sound like post racial to you? This guy is more like Melcom X then MLK in his methodology. Is this all a part of his lack of respect for equal justice and more like his agenda of "social justice"? He is made it clear that he is not post racial at all. But in fact just the opposite. He is highly racial since he always falls on the racial differences rather then our characture. He doesn't give a crap about anything but color or gender. He wants to divide this country into racial and gender.  Well my white friends you have been excluded by our President.

  1. Barack Obama: Not Post-Racial Enough!
Now is the time when we juxtapose!

Barack Obama, "A More Perfect Union" - "As such, Reverend Wright's comments were not only wrong but divisive, divisive at a time when we need unity; racially charged at a time when we need to come together to solve a set of monumental problems - two wars, a terrorist threat, a falling economy, a chronic health care crisis and potentially devastating climate change; problems that are neither black or white or Latino or Asian, but rather problems that confront us all. "

Barack Obama, A More Perfect Mid-Term Campaign - “This year, the stakes are higher than ever. It will be up to each of you to make sure that young people, African Americans, Latinos and women who powered our victory in 2008 stand together once again...”

  2. As a white person i am glad that someone is pushing the historically disenfranchised to be a part of our process. We need more people to be involved in the electoral process. Especially at a time when Republicans are creating a hostile enviroment for legal immigrants and native citizens in the border states.

I don't feel left out at all. How come you do? Is it because like the study says that Tea Partiers are more likely to feel racial hostility and insecurity? Do you need the president to hold your hand on the way to the ballot box? Are yo0u scraed that women, latinos and african americans will be stronger force at the ballet box than the angry older white males of the Tea Party?

  3. LOL ... historically disenfranchised? Why? Didn't women, black people (and white males I might add) fight for women and black people's right to vote? Why are they "historically disenfranchised"? Nobody is keeping women and blacks from the polls! If anyone is doing that sort of thing it's The New Black Panther party trying to intimidate at the polls. Remember that one in the last election?

Fact is, and I believe someone here had a link, legal immigrants, particularly in AZ, support this law. Obama was fiddling around with jamming through health tax bills while the US is being invaded. This guy is a total joke.

And Joe, you are really getting hysterical! Take a deep breath Joe. All the Arizona law does is essentially transfer the federal law to the state level. How is that creating a hostile environment for legal immigrants and native citizens?!? If anything it is making it safer for legal immigrants and citizens, by taking law-breakers off the street. Joe, it seems you are supporting law-breaking. Why don't the Hypocrats just strike down the federal law, since they don't enforce it and have left Arizona to fend for herself. What is your solution to all the illegal immigrants flooding over the borders Joe? You are really turning into a hysterical crazy, you know that? Why can't you discuss a topic without all the crazy hysterical rhetoric? You really are over the top Joe.

  4. You know Joe, here is what I wish we had heard from the Prez re: AZ; I wish he had said that the fed government hadn't done enough (go ahead and blame Bush is you want to here, because obviously not enough was done under his watch), and he would be stepping up fed support so that AZ wouldn't have to worry about doing one of the fed gov'ts most basic tasks. But instead Obummer comes out on the side of breaking the law. This m-fer is supposed to be the ultimate law enforcer! WTF?!?! You Hypocrats are bat-shit crazy, hands-down.

  5. Did The Danish King Wear An "I Could Be Illegal" Button?
    http://legalinsurrection.blogspot.com/2010/04/did-danish-king-wear-i-could-be-illegal.html

It is over-the-top and out-of-control when it comes to the Arizona immigration bill recently signed. Not the law itself, but the reaction.

Linda Greenhouse's opinion piece in The NY Times epitomizes the absurd rhetoric (emphasis mine):

I’m glad I’ve already seen the Grand Canyon.

Because I’m not going back to Arizona as long as it remains a police state, which is what the appalling anti-immigrant bill that Gov. Jan Brewer signed into law last week has turned it into....

Wasn’t the system of internal passports one of the most distasteful features of life in the Soviet Union and apartheid-era South Africa? ...

So what to do in the meantime? Here’s a modest proposal. Everyone remembers the wartime Danish king who drove through Copenhagen wearing a Star of David in support of his Jewish subjects. It’s an apocryphal story, actually, but an inspiring one. Let the good people of Arizona — and anyone passing through — walk the streets of Tucson and Phoenix wearing buttons that say: I Could Be Illegal.

Actually, Linda, not everyone remembers the Danish King driving around wearing a Star of David. Because it is not true. It is a myth. But it sure does sound good when making a hyperventilated argument on the pages of The New York Times.

And isn't the opposition to the Arizona law based on mythology and hysteria. Yesterday Arizona was a great place, now it is the last bastion of Nazis, Communists and Apartheid-ists.

And why? Because Arizona decided to implement procedures which have the effect of forcing the federal government to enforce existing immigration laws.

Under the Arizona law, the State of Arizona will have no power to deport anyone, only to turn them over to the federal immigration officials.

To say that the Arizona law requires internal passports, or creates an apartheid state is absurd. We already require identification for a whole host of day-to-day activities (see Byron York's piece today) such as checking into a hotel or boarding an airplane. Check out this Georgetown database of federal immigration laws to see the sweeping scope of the immigration laws already on the books.

There are procedural aspects of the law (such as the provisions which make violation of federal law also a violation of state law) which will be challenged, perhaps successfully so. But overzealous state enforcement of the law (if that is what it is) hardly changes the substance of the federal laws.

If Arizona is a fascist, communist, racist, apartheid state because it has decided to hold the federal government to the letter of the federal immigration laws, then wouldn't that of necessity make the federal immigration laws racist?

And isn't that really the point here. The people screaming about the Arizona law really are screaming about the substance of the federal immigration laws, demanding that such laws not be enforced in any meaningful way.

  6. Are you high Joe? The President is playing his racial and gender politics again. Why does he feel the need to leave out so many Americans? Why is he leaving out a whole race? Is that "Sociel Justice" or "Equal Justice"? And Joe I think it is the liberals of color that need their hands held to vote and that is why they need constand help from the government to vote. If you are too dumb or lazy to know to vote then who needs ya? Oh, I forgot the Democrats need ya and they will give them an intitlement to insure they vote for them. Buffoons

  8. Rasmussen has a Michigan Poll out:

    Election 2010: Michigan Governor
Michigan Governor: Republican 41%, Democrat 36%
    Tuesday, April 27, 2010

Michigan voters won’t definitely know the gubernatorial candidates of the two major parties until their August 3 primaries, but for now the Republican has a slight edge.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in Michigan finds an unnamed generic Republican candidate for governor picking up 41% of the vote, while an unnamed generic Democratic candidate earns 36% support. 5% prefer some other candidate in the race, while 18% of likely voters in the state remain undecided.
Opposition to the recently-passed national health care plan is a boost to the Republican in Michigan even though the state has trended Democratic in recent years. 54% of Michigan voters favor repeal of the plan, while 40% oppose it. This includes 45% who strongly favor repeal and 31% who are strongly opposed.
Nationally, 58% of voters are in favor of repealing the health care plan, while 38% oppose it.

The generic Democratic candidate gets 68% of the vote of those who strongly oppose repeal, while the generic GOP candidate earns 72% support from the larger group that strongly favors repeal.

Male voters favor the Republican candidate by 13 points, while the candidates break even among female voters.

Voters not affiliated with either of the major parties prefer the Republican by a 36% to 16% margin, but over one-third (35%) of these voters are still undecided.

  9. I like this one Chris, when Joe said: "As a white person ... "

LEGAL immigrants by a big majority support Arizona and its LAW, and that includes a majority of Hispanics. But Joe the white guy is going to tell them what is good for them! LOL You have to admit Joe, that's funny as hell! Hispanics need a white guy to "explain" the law to them and direct them as to how they should think and feel!! LOL, that really does just strike me as funny!!!

Hell, even Sharpton said on his radio show that a majority of the people that called in did not support his trip out to AZ, they support AZ and the LAW. I'll see if I can find the clip.

Obama and the Hypocrats keep this up, they are going to need the illegal immigrant vote because the legal immigrants sure as hell aren't going to vote for them! LOL

  10. Obamatons beg: More subterfuge and lies, please! These are the dirtiest bunch of liars EVER.

    Can We Declare A Mistrial?

    From Gateway Pundit
DEMOCRATS HID DAMNING HEALTH CARE REPORT FROM PUBLIC UNTIL A MONTH AFTER VOTE

    More hope and change–

A damning health care report generated by actuaries at the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department was given to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius more than a week before the health care vote. She hid the report from the public until a month after democrats rammed their nationalized health care bill through Congress.

The results from the report were troubling. The report released by Medicare and Medicaid actuaries shows that medical costs will skyrocket rising $389 billion 10 years. 14 million will lose their employer-based coverage. Millions of Americans will be left without insurance. And, millions more may be dumped into the already overwhelmed Medicaid system. 4 million American families will be hit with tax penalties under this new law.

Of course, these were ALL things that President Obama and Democratic leaders assured us would not happen.

  12. Here's one more on Arizona for ya Joe; this time from the HuffPo:

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/michael-d-brown/razing-arizona_b_552894.html

    Michael D. Brown
    Former Under Secretary, Homeland Security

Let's tone down the hyperbole on Senate Bill 1070, the Arizona immigration legislation. Those on the right claim this statute is now the panacea for illegal immigration and those on the left claim it is, well, the end of American civilization as we know it. Neither side is correct. On the news, in the blogosphere, and on talk radio Arizona is being razed over an issue that should concern all Americans concerned with the national security of this country.

Reverend Al Sharpton claims SB1070 is profiling and then calls for Freedom Marchers to descend on Arizona ala Martin Luther King's Selma marchers. The comparison doesn't hold. Those brave freedom fighters marched on behalf of American citizens seeking the right to vote. Sharpton's claim that SB1070 institutionalizes profiling doesn't withstand scrutiny. But playing the race card helps inflame those incensed by injustice without the need to read the bill, let alone understand its plain language.

  13. As an African-American if Bush would have done the same thing to whites only or left us out I would have felt offended. This black vs white thing is getting old. We are post racial and we need to start acting like it. My skin color isn't a weapon or a card,it's just skin color. We are all a different shade of human.

  17. John, your comment about my refering to my race is mixing topics. I didn't say that as a white person i needed to tell latinos anything. I said that as a white person (male)i am not bothered by a president asking minorities and women to be more involved.

That comment is about that and that alone.
