  1. Can you just post transcripts so i can skip to the highlighted part you want us to see? I'm not watching 19 minutes of this assclown.

I do have a question? The Missouri synod i grew up in considers Mormonism a cult, so how is he a Christian? And why are you following a cultist?

  2. Joe Sometimes Common Sense Leaves You And When It Comes To Beck You Do Get A Bit Unsettled.

Missouri Synod You Grew Up In Considered Mormonism A Cult! Just Maybe You Belonged To A Radical Synod!

Southern Demoncrats Once Thought KKK Was Social Club Certainly Did Not Mean It Was!

  3. I belonged to the same radical Missouri synod then that Chris does now, Al. That is why i mentioned it by name.

All i am merely pointing out in a over the top way, that Mormonism is as far away from the Lutheran church's accepted views on salvation as Chris wrongly places "liberation theology". And that if Chris is right and Obama's views on "Christianity" are not truly Christian then Becks views are just as not "Christian".

And if Chris is going to "judge" Obama's Christianity then he should hold Beck to the same standard. But he won't.

  4. Just for you Al....

    Q. Are Mormons generally regarded as Christians, and how do their beliefs differ from those of the Missouri Synod?

    A. The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod, together with the vast majority of Christian denominations in the United States, does not regard the Mormon church as a Christian church.

  5. Citizen Religous Beliefs Have Never Been A Concern Of Mine As Long As It Does Not Interfer With My Family Or Life. Not Being A Good Christian I Cannot And Will Not Say Any Beleif Is Superior To Another. The Beef I Have Is With Religious Beleifs Now Also Becoming Right/Left And God Knows What Else.

If Catholics,Lutherns,Protesant Or Jews Had Flown Airplanes Into OUR Buildings Killing OUR Citizens And Then Wanted To Build Church/Synagog At Location I Would Be Against That Construction. True They Have A Right To Build. Is It Right NO And That Will Never Change For Me!

  6. Joe Mormons don't believe that Jesus is the son of God. A Christian is someone that believe the Bible is Holy and the inspired word of God and that Jesus Christ is both man and God. Sorry Joe I am not a religious follower of Beck but I do follow his politics. It's funny how you have a problem with Mormons just like you have a problem with Christians just like most liberal bigots. Are you infering that cults are bad? Isn't it true of all religions including athiest that they all think their beliefs are the only true beliefs? Don't you think that what you believe is better then M.S. Lutheran? Kettle/Pot Pot/Kettle. I on the other hand don't think I'm better then you because of my beliefs, unlike you Joe. You have made it clear that you think you are better then all of us Christians,Mormons and cults. Shame on you Joe.

  7. This is what makes a Christian=1. I believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth:

    2. And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord:

    3. Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary:

    4. Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead and buried: He descended into hell:

    5. The third day he rose again from the dead:

    6. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:

    7. From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead:

    8. I believe in the Holy Ghost:

    9. I believe in the holy catholic church: the communion of saints:

    10. The forgiveness of sins:

1l. The resurrection of the body:

    12. And the life everlasting. Amen.

  8. Muslims believe in Jesus Christ but not as the Son of God. Are they Christian? Nicene Creed (325 A.D.)
This creed was first formulated at the First Ecumenical Council, held at Nicea, located in what is now Turkey, in 325, as a response to the Arian heresy, which denied the divinity of Christ. It was revised at the Second Ecumenical Council, held at Constantinople in 381 as a response to the Macedonian or Pneumatomachian heresy, which denied the divinity of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Note: The word "catholic" with a lower case 'c' does not mean the Roman Catholic Church, but the universal Christian Church as a whole.

  9. Chris, i am a Christian and i believe in the Nicene Creed as i was taught by the church. I don't believe in alot of the denominational dogma associated with organized churches, but I followed the Lutheran Catechism and was confirmed in the Lutheran Church MS. Right there on 24 mile before mound.

W#hat i am getting at is you can follow a non-Christian who doesn't believe in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus but you can't believe in a man who is a christian because his church feels they have a calling towards the poor. Where is the disconnect? How does this work?

  10. I'm not following his Mormon faith but his political beliefs. Big difference. How can you follow Obama when he believes in late term abortion? Why do you think Jesus became man,at conception or birth? Where is your disconnect Joe? I don't get what you are saying here"What I am getting at is you can follow a non-Christian who doesn't believe in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus but you can't believe in a man who is a christian because his church feels they have a calling towards the poor." I've never discounted a persons good works because of their beliefs or lack there of.
