Open Thread: Say What You Will

Obama’s approval rating fell to a new low of 43 percent since he took office, down from 47 percent last month, according to a Reuters-Ipsos national poll. Ipsos pollsters say it appears that much of that drop comes from Democrats whose approval of Obama fell to 70 percent from 78 percent last month. Among likely voters, 48 percent said they will choose Republican candidates in the midterm elections, while 44 percent say they will vote for a Democrat. That gap narrowed in the full survey sample, with 44 percent saying they would vote for the Republican candidate vs. 43 percent for the Democrat. Sixty-three percent said the country is on the wrong track, which was the highest since Obama took office. Sixty-five percent said creating jobs is what Congress should focus on in 2011, and most said the best indicator of economic recovery is a drop in the unemployment rate.

Who is to blame for the way the country is starting to view Democrats in government? They say it's the Republicans,Tea Partiers, Bush, "dumb Americans","racism", white people, "rich", businesses etc... Just like the teachers unions blame everyone but the unions themselves and when something good happens they take all the credit. It's time the Democratic Party grows up and acts like an adult organization instead of acting like spoiled little children. It's time both parties say sorry when they are wrong or when things don't turn out the way they said they would. It's time that our government officials and government employees treat WE THE PEOPLE with the respect we deserve. WE THE PEOPLE put them into government and WE can take them out.

  2. Chris Amen!

Nobamas problem/demoncrats is they cannot run on their record!

Most demoncrats are running from regimes policies not with them and that tells the whole story. No blaming Bush,No smoke, no excuses.

Demoncrats are learning running from the TRUTH and drinking kool aide instead of Tea was a terrible mistake. If Demoncrats dont change their ways they indeed will have NO hope and more Change and then POOF all gone!

Congress is in disarray even bringing in comedians into hearings for what reason? You would think hearings on Fanny May/Freddy Max would have been a bit MORE important but this Congress never as got it. With Pelosi at helm they have indeed hit ice=berg! Then Congress adjourns and runs!

November will be time for Hope and Change but we must keep our eye the on ball through election and beyond. If politicans are ever again allowed to run wild as we have allowed over many years we get what we SOW and thats not smoke its fact!

  3. Heard a clip from Chris Mathews show comparing Chile's Mine Miricle to Tea Party.

It was amazing to hear that he believed that had miners been like Tea Party The miners would have turned on each other in a couple of days! He came to this conclusion based on Tea Party members beleiving in less government and less reliance on government.
You would think this liberal blinded by ideaology would have been able to figure out that for the first 17 days of this ordeal they had to be self reilant to survive! What a moron.

I also give the Chile government credit for turning to private sector(American) to solve and build equipment to rescue these brave men. This regime could learn lesson from Chile but sadly wont. Hell if that happened here the first thing regime would do is close down all mining. Then just before election open mining back up oops That was deep water drilling.

  4. I got this from the sweetest little lady in her 70’s…. pretty funny…

I am truly perplexed that so many of my friends are against a mosque
    being built near Ground Zero.

I think it should be the goal of every American to be tolerant. The
mosque should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance.

That is why I also propose, that two nightclubs be opened next
door to the mosque thereby promoting tolerance within the mosque.
We could call one of the clubs (which would be gay) "The Turban Cowboy"
and the other being a topless bar "You Mecca Me Hot".

Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork and
adjacent to that have an open barbeque pork rib restaurant, called
    something like “Iraq o’ Ribs”?

Across the street there could be a very daring lingerie store called
Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret with sexy mannequins in the window
    modeling the goods.

Next door to the lingerie shop, there would be room for an Adult Toy
Shop (Koranal Knowledge), its name in flashing neon lights, and on the
other side a liquor store, maybe call it "Morehammered"?

Then the Muslims could be allowed to show their tolerance. Problem
    solved.

If you agree in promoting tolerance and you think this is a good plan,
    pass it on.

Liberals make fun of citizens because the TRUTH is not any fun to them. Attack the messenger cannot attack the message. "Alinsky 101".

November 2nd Liberals will see how much the TRUTH Hurts! "Citizens 101"!
