Tea Party Ad Delivers Knockout to Obama

 "Barack Obama's Legacy of Failure,"
We have seen what the Democratic Party has done to this country since they took over both houses of congress in 2008. But the real downward spiral has come since Obama took office. If you can't see that the Democratic policies are failures it's because you are blind, deaf or dumb. If you thought things were worse before Obama and the Democrats took over then now, you can't be helped. Excuses and blaming Bush wont work any more.

If we want to see government shrink and our deficit shrink so we can afford it, then we conservatives and moderates need to take the Senate and the White House over the next two years. As long as the liberal Democrats hold on to the Senate or the White House we will have to concede that our debt will keep growing and inflation will keep rising.

We gave the Democrats more then enough power and time. It's time to get these liberals out of office where they can't do us any more damage to our country and economy. We need to give our time, talents and treasures to stop the liberals from holding on to their power over us. It's time to stop these Democrats and ads like this help.

Oh they (the left) can see it all right. It's their plan... To bring down the capitalist economy to rise up an European style socialist society.

Many here in my neck of the woods have gone from outright Dem supporters to more right leaning independents who can't wait for 2012 to vote (once again) a straight republican ticket, hoping many will be Tea Party candidates.

  2. Many in my neck of the woods have gone from single issue (guns) moderate republicans to democratic voters with all the attacks on the middle class by the recently elected governors.

lol...i like how disingenuous the video is.

lets look at facts, not video's and lose Cato institute assertions. not that republicans like facts but we'll use them anyways.

Federal pay raise percentage by year.

    2004 4.1 percent
    2005 3.5 percent

  3. Mark, quite the contrary is the true. The country was losing 700,000 jobs per month when Obama was sworn in.

Now we are adding 200,000 private sector jobs per month. That sounds like a success to me.

Despite what you teabaggers say, Romneycare has been a success in MA, and it will improve the health of Americans and the economy and the deficit at the same time. Another success in my book.

The only Obama failures that have taken place is when Obama and the Democrats follow the lead of Republicans over the cliff of bad policies of austerity and tax cuts for the wealthy and favoring corporations over people.

Majority of private sector pay raise over that time frame:
    -0.2%
    Average wages-Private sector
    2008 41,334.97
    2009 40,711.61
    2010- unknown at this time

    2008-2010 unemployment rate average
    8.23%
    Federal government growth 2008-2010
    22%

Even the NYT yesterdsay said the stimulas was a failure.
"bad policies of austerity and tax cuts for the wealthy and favoring corporations over people"
What you mean you didn't get more in your paycheck after the Bush tax cut was renewed?
I did. Me being a 'middle income' kind of guy........
Romneycare might be a success in your world, but in the real world it's busting the bank in MA.

  5. Chris, Al and Mark, it looks like the public is not as enthralled with the Republicans in Congress as you seem to like to think

    http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/2011/04/bad-news-for-congressional-republicans.html

PPP's newest national poll finds that after a little more than 3 months in charge House Republicans have fallen so far out of favor with the American public that it's entirely possible Democrats could take control of the House back next year.

43% of voters think that House Republicans are doing a worse job now than the Democrats did, compared to only 36% who think the GOP has brought an improvement. 19% think things are about the same. 62% of voters thinking that the Republicans have either made things worse or brought no improvement to an already unpopular Congress does not bode particularly well for the party.

46% of voters say that if there was an election for Congress today they would vote Democratic, compared to only 41% who would vote Republican. That five point advantage for Democrats is only a hair below the margin Republicans won by in the national popular vote last year. A victory of that magnitude for the Democrats next year would at the very least result in the party taking back a large number of the seats it lost last year, and it could be enough to take back the outright majority- hard to say at this point without knowing how good a number the GOP can do in redistricting.

The key to this strong movement back toward the Democrats right now is the same as the key to the strong movement away from the Democrats last year- fickle independents quickly growing unhappy with the party in power. Exit polls showed independents supporting the GOP by a 19 point margin last year at 56-37. Now only 30% of those voters think that the Republican controlled House is moving things in the right direction, compared to 44% who think things were better with the Democrats. Given those numbers it's not much of a surprise that independents now say they'd vote Democratic for the House by a 42-33 margin if these was an election today, representing a 28 point reversal in a span of just five months.

Oops, guys. Maybe you have a new plan, but Ryan's budget is death for the Republican Party and the Tea Party. Keep on walking off that cliff.

  6. fealk, you are still the same idiot, aren't you?

Public Policy Polling is a democrat party affiliate. What do you expect they would report?

  7. So, I suppose I won't see any more Rasmussen polls, base on that statement.

  8. Bruce, Obama and the Democrats poll numbers aren't that great either.

It looks like the left-wing isn't too happy with Obama. He's illegaly bombing Pakistan. A third war when he promised to get out of wars not in more wars. Military tribunals,Gitmo, expansion of the Patriot Act... Obama sure does love the Bush doctrine now that he is president. Didn't Obama promise the unions he would march with them if they got him elected? After he paid off the unions with our Stimulus money and they still want more, I haven't seen him march with his union minion.

It's a shame that only 5,000 union members showed to demand more tax payer money for themselves. I would have thought there would have been a lot more then that in Lansing. Maybe the members know something the unions don't? Better luck next time.

  9. The Campaigner in Chief is saying things that should have been addressed from the beging of his regime. Two years ago Regime Concerned itself with Ideaology policies and NOT Citizens Concerns. You can tell 2012 is approaching cause gthe Community Organizer is once again Campaigning and once again Not leading. During his Campaign Speech saw that ole Joe Biden had his Eyes closed fer awhile.

This Community Organizer will of coarse to what he does best TALK but what he does BAD is lead and he has shown that on several occassions. He fooled Electors in 2008 but that card has NOW been played. Dont know who will run against him yet but debates and defending his ignoring Citizens for two years will be at least intweresting. In his speech he actually said SPENDING must be brought under control but for TWO years he spent at record levels. I for one see our country at crossroad. Being lead by President who leads by example or by one that leads By ideaology. We did not become Great Nation by Division and that is a FACT. Regimes Ideaology is about Division and if were to occurr again i will be glad im Old and Sad my Young relatives will not know The greatness OUR Nzation once knew. There can be NO greatness by being RULED and not GOVERNED. Just cannot!

  10. Bruce, I am finding this poll problematic in its results, and agree with Lonely Conservative as there is a lack of one question to the poll and that is whether this sample voted last Nov.
That would need to be address to answer my questioning the accuracy of the big turn down from the Republicans control of the house after only 3 months on the job.
Plus the poll was conducted during the 2011 budget battle just as it was coming to a conclusion when conservatives where upset at the house republicans in caving to the Dems on cuts for 2011.
Poll shows 41% conservative or very conservative vs. 26% liberal or very liberal.

  11. Chris,
To bad only 500 tea baggers showed up yesterday at the capital to thank Snyder for increasing taxes on Grandma. I would have thought it would be higher. Maybe the rest of Michigan knows something the TEA BAGGERS don't.

But why quibble with reality when you can keep posting bogus videos that lack any reality and never address the corrections? We know when your wrong your still right in your head.

Your welcome. Lets look at those numbers you posted.
    1. 2008 was a Bush year.

    2. 2009 was a Bush year also
2009 Federal Pay Raise: 3.9% Increase for Federal Employees UPDATE: December 18, 2008

The President has signed an Executive order to implement the January 2009 federal employee pay adjustments.

    3. Under normal circumstances federal workers could have expected a 2.4 percent annual pay increase in January. Federal law pegs pay to the Employment Cost Index, which measures wages and salaries of private industry workers. However, Obama has been pushing since February to hold down that increase to 2 percent. Which he did. He held their pay below what they should have gotten.

Thumbs up Obama and down to Bush.

  13. Joe, you failed to mention one thing, who holds the purse strings of the federal government?
The House of Representatives, which in fact was controlled by Democrats.
But where did I put that strictly on Obama's head??? Answer, I didn't.
But it so easy for you to point the finger of blame on one man, vs. the whole lot of them.

  14. Joe Those 500 Tea Party members. Were they Bussed in from other states? Were any arrested or was damage caused?

Joe turn the page on the ole playbook. You forgot starving children.

Regime with its 41% approval rating seems to have enough problems of its own and will need all of that Billion dollars its raising for 2012.
I guess if I was Nobama i'd be trying to get reelected vs being compared with Carter for last but not least in Presidental Ratings.

That thumbs up with Nobama he has used already on Citizens Joe,Ouch!

  15. Mark,
You know what the thread is about and you know that the facts don't agree with you, but still you attempt to spin it. The video is a distortion and your distorting them even more.
    But lets do the comparison...

    FEDERAL
    2000 4.8 percent
    2001 3.7 percent
    2002 4.6 percent
    2003 4.1 percent
    2004 4.1 percent
    2005 3.5 percent
    2006 3.1 percent

So who was in charge of all these runaway raises? Congress or the President?
