First off, we are a group of conservative and Tea Party activists who are against the Tea Party Express.
We support their political views, which most all conservative groups share, but do not agree with their unsavory fundraising, organizational, and political tactics.
With that said, if you are a supporter of the Tea Party Express, we would like you to seriously reconsider any financial and moral support of their organization.  The time to hold them accountable is now.
Contact the Tea Party Express and ask them for a refund of your contribution.  Simply provide your name and address so they can look up your financial contribution and refund it to you.
From allegations of deceptive fundraising practices and spending millions in consulting fees, to intimidation in numerous elections and blatantly attacking fellow conservatives, the Tea Party Express has lived beyond its purpose.  We must stop them now before their new tour starts on October 18th.
Instead of encouraging activists at the grassroots levels to support conservative candidates by knocking on doors and making phone calls, they continue to be "talking heads" of the Tea Party movement and hold rallies that get nothing done but yelling and screaming.

The Anti-Tea Partiers Are Out In Full Buffoon

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Opponents of the fiscally conservative tea party movement say they plan to infiltrate and dismantle the political group by trying to make its members appear to be racist, homophobic and moronic. Jason Levin, creator of http://www.crashtheteaparty.org, said Monday the group has 65 leaders in major cities across the country who are trying to recruit members to infiltrate tea party events for April 15—tax filing day, when tea party groups across the country are planning to gather and protest high taxes.

"Every time we have someone on camera saying that Barack Obama isn't an American citizen, we want someone sitting next to him saying, 'That's right, he's an alien from outer space!'" Levin said.
Tea party members said the backlash comes from ignorance.
"They can't actually debate our message and that's their problem," said Bob MacGuffie, a Connecticut organizer for Right Principles, a tea party group that also has members in New York and New Jersey.
The tea party movement generally unites on the fiscally conservative principles of small government, lower taxes and less spending. Beyond that the ideology of the people involved tends to vary dramatically.
Levin says they want to exaggerate the group's least appealing qualities, further distance the tea party from mainstream America and damage the public's opinion of them.
"Do I think every member of the tea party is a homophobe, racist or a moron? No, absolutely not," Levin said. "Do I think most of them are homophobes, racists or morons? Absolutely."
The site manifesto says they want to dismantle the Tea Party by nonviolent means. "We have already sat quietly in their meetings, and observed their rallies," the site said.
Another tea party organizer said the attempt to destroy the movement was evidence its message is resonating.
"We've been ignored, we've been ridiculed. Well, now they're coming after us," said Judy Pepenella, a co-coordinator for the New York State Tea Party. "Gandhi's quote is one we understand: 'First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win.'"

They have launched a Crash the Tea Party (CTTP) website: crashtheteaparty.org on the eve of the April 15 anniversary of the Tea Party.

“WHO WE ARE, Crash The Tea Party style, is a lesson in Marxism 101: “A nationwide network of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents who are sick and tired of that loose affiliation of racists, homophobes, and morons; who constitute the fake grass-roots movement which calls itself “The Tea Party.”

The definition of CTTP couldn’t have been better scripted by Nancy Pelosi.

“WHAT WE WANT: To dismantle and demolish the Tea Party by any non-violent means necessary.

“HOW WE WILL SUCCEED: By infiltrating the Tea Party itself!  In an effort to propagate their pre-existing propensity for paranoia and suspicion…We have already sat quietly in their meetings, and observed their rallies.”

But the game-plan is Crash the Tea Party’s most ominous part: “We will act on behalf of the Tea Party in ways which exaggerate their least appealing qualities (misspelled protest signs, wild claims in TV interviews, etc.) to further distance them from mainstream America and damage the public’s opinion of them.  We will also use the inside information that we have gained in order to disrupt and derail their plans.”  (Emphasis CFP’s).

And like the scurrilous snipers of the sidelines they are, they try to pass off their website registrant name as Ben Franklin.

Crash the Tea Party was registered April 3, 2010.

CFP conducted an Internic “Whois” search and discovered that the phone number listed for the Ben Franklin registrant gave an S. Lamonoff in Langhorne, Pa.  White pages list a Sheila R. Lamonoff as holder of the telephone line, also listed as S. Lamonoff.

The telephone number listed for Crash the Tea Party is 215-752-1992.  The number has call block service.

CFP dialed the number and reached a recorded female voice saying “You have reached Carol and Nat, We are not available.  Leave a message and have a nice day.”

Other records indicate that there is a Norman Lamonoff listed at the same address.

Meanwhile, patriots take note: The Dem-inspired agent provocateurs want to crash your Tea Party.

The Tea Party Express (website: www.TeaPartyExpress.org) has announced that it is expanding its plans to ensure the Defeat of Congressman Bart Stupak in Michigan Congressional District 1.

As the Tea Party Express traverses through the Upper & Lower Peninsula of Michigan, it will stop for 5 Tea Party Express rallies.  This is far and above more rallies than have been held in any other congressional district in America since the inception of the tea party movement.

Rallies will be held in the following cities in Stupak's district:

*Ironwood, MI

*Escanaba, MI

*Sault Sainte Marie, MI

*Cheboygan, MI

*Petoskey, MI

The rallies are just the tip of the iceberg.  A "Defeat Bart Stupak" TV and radio ad campaign will be launched during the swing through Stupak's congressional district.

This will be a historic chapter in the tea party movement and it will take place in Michigan - a state where failed leadership by tax-and-spend politicians has played a major role in crippling the state's economy.

Starting with a survey conducted by the Winston Group, we learn that a quarter of the Tea Party members are in fact Democrats and Independents. 

The national breakdown of the Tea Party composition is 57 percent Republican, 28 percent Independent and 13 percent Democratic, according to three national polls by the Winston Group, a Republican-leaning firm that conducted the surveys on behalf of an education advocacy group. Two-thirds of the group call themselves conservative, 26 are moderate and 8 percent say they are liberal. 

Next, we have Gallup with a new poll out today that shows Tea Party demographics match up with the demographics of America as a whole, including race! Take that, Keith Olbermann!

Finally, Rasmussen’s poll finds that on the issues most Americans views line up the Tea Party’s views  rather than Obama’s. 

On major issues, 48% of voters say that the average Tea Party member is closer to their views than President Barack Obama. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 44% hold the opposite view and believe the president’s views are closer to their own.

Not surprisingly, Republicans overwhelmingly feel closer to the Tea Party and most Democrats say that their views are more like Obama’s. Among voters not affiliated with either major political party, 50% say they’re closer to the Tea Party while 38% side with the President.

This weekend thousands of conservative Americans will descend on the tiny Nevada town of Searchlight for a Tea Party rally. Searchlight is home to only about 800 people. The town has one motel and an RV park. So where will the thousands of visitors stay?

There’s an unusual place just outside of town that is quickly filling up with people from across the country.

Just about 14 miles east of Searchlight, inside the Lake Mead National Park, lies the Cottonwood Cove Resort.

“It’s a hidden gem. The water is beautiful here. We have a lovely lake and a beautiful resort,” says resort manager Greg Carter.

Dan Ball: Typically, in March, do you see the numbers that you’re expecting this weekend?

“No, we don’t. We are actually staffed for winter time and we are having to pull people in on their days off. We, the managers, are gonna be working 24 hours around the clock to make this thing happen.”

Carter says over the past few days, people from across the country who are attending the rally have discovered the resort.

“This weekend, we are booked to the brim,” says Cottonwood employee Jon Foster.

“We are deferring people over to the houseboats because we have no rooms and no RV spaces left.”

Thanks to the volume of people filling up rooms in Searchlight, Laughlin, Nipton, and Boulder City, some rally-goers are renting houseboats.

“We weren’t ready to rent this many houseboats but we are getting them put back together from winter refurb,” says Carter. “We’re cleaning boats and using them as motel rooms.”

Rally attendees will pay $325 a night or more with a two night minimum and taxes. Some folks will shell out over $700 just for a bed close to the Tea Party actions.

Tea Party goers have also rented every vacant RV space and some are even expected to pitch tents at nearby campgrounds. U.S. Park Ranger Laura Anderson says the sleepy little community is ready for the large crowd.

“We are gonna have extra staff on hand as well as extra law enforcement and emergency services.”

Saturday’s Tea Party rally is set to begin at noon.
