Wisconsin Union Protest Causes $7.5 Million in Damages To Capitol Floor

Journal Sentinel: Madison - State officials said Thursday that damage to the marble inside and out the State Capitol would cost an estimated $7.5 million.

Cari Anne Renlund, chief legal counsel for the state Department of Administration, said in Dane County court that estimates of damage to marble includes $6 million to repair damaged marble inside the Capitol, $1 million for damage outside and $500,000 for costs to supervise the damage.

Much of the damage apparently has come from tape used to put up signs and placards at the Capitol.

It was not immediately clear how the estimates were made, though the state is apparently relying on opinions by historical architects, one of whom works for the U.S. Park Service.

One concern is the residue from tape that the state says is causing damage to stone and other surfaces inside the Capitol.

Sleep-in like a little piggy. I wish those little piggies would go home. This isn't the first time these people destroyed public property. They did it after President Obama's inaugural speech and the One Nation rally at the National Mall. This should give anyone all the reason to make sure this group doesn't get what they want. You see how they value public property. They will do worse if they are given what they want.  It's time for those good teachers,police and firefighters to walk away from these people. If they keep standing with them then they will be viewed as them. Do the good teachers,police and firefighters want to be associated with this? They will if they keep standing with them. There is a right way and a wrong way to do things. These people seem to always pick the wrong way. These pictures also tell us a story of the Democratic Party. When you look at the events the Democratic Party are behind is it any wonder our country is the way it is today? Do a search on this blog of all the pictures of damage and vitriol the Democrats have done over the years. Do this so the next time a Democrat tells you that the Republicans want to kill the middle class and destroy this country you can show them those pictures. Then ask them who really wants to destroy this country. Where is the President and  Pelosi with her tears of fear? Why are they not speaking out about the violence and vandalism being done in the name of the public unions,Democratic Party and Progressives? Where is the MSM on this vandalism and violence? These people are a disease to this country and it would be best if they were purged from those protests. But since the unions,Democratic Party and left-wing haven't purged themselves of these people, but rather adopted them and have become them, we will have no choice as viewing citizens but to think that those groups are the problem.

It's time we take care of this disease. Thank God the Republican Party is standing up to these criminals. And yes they are all criminals for letting this happen to public property. They are in charge of governing their own, just like the Tea Party is in charge of governing our own. Don't worry though because like our rallies we will clean up after ourselves and after them. It's what conservatives do, clean up after liberals.

 BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) — Police in riot gear and holding batons are facing off with a growing number of protesters lined up outside a University of California, Berkeley where other protesters have chained themselves together on the ledge of an upper floor of the building.

Television video shows hundreds of protesters on the ground yelling and chanting, while several protesters have chained themselves together on a narrow ledge of the fourth floor of the building.
The protest Thursday comes after university police said they arrested 17 people late Wednesday when they refused to leave a campus building during a protest against state education cuts.

All 17, including seven students, were cited for trespassing. Police Lt. Alex Yao says three people in the group also were booked at the Berkeley jail on suspicion of obstructing police.
The protest Wednesday was part of a day of action by students around the country opposed to education cuts.

How Will We Get Our Soldiers Out Of Iraq If Saudi Arabia Falls With The Rest Of The Middle East?

All the countries arround Iraq are either on fire or in revolution. That is except for Saudi Arabia. The problem is if Saudi Arabia fall, then how do we get our troups out of Iraq? Trouble in Saudi Arabia Could Trigger Global Alarm

Just over 3 minutes into the embedded clip below, warns Williams:

Now we know that Obama is playing hide and go seek with this pending issue. It will have immediate implications on every American and Obama is doing nothing. He is holding our oil supply hostage as well as our reserves. This admin. is the most inept group this country has ever had. And we have had some inept admin. over the years. I will never forget what these people did to our National Mall for their One Nation rally. Now they have turned government buildings into a rave and free for all. Why is it so hard to clean up after yourselves and take a bath every day? I understand it's hard to wipe when someone took all the toilet paper. But is it so hard to take a shit and piss in a toilet and not the floor, when you go to the bathroom? Don't they realize that it is public employees that have to clean that mess up?

A look at both sides in pictures tells the whole story. Conservative protests are always peaceful and law abiding. We clean up after ourselves and after you. On the other side their are the liberal protests. Violence,lawlessness and just pure filth. They make it a point to leave their mark where ever they go.

The question is who would you like to see in power? The pigs that want to take power from you or the builders that want to give the power back to you?

Wisconsin state Republican Sen. Glenn Grothman found himself in a frightening situation at the Wisconsin State Capitol after being tailed and cornered by a large group of angry protesters who screamed and hurled curses at him as he tried to enter the building.

Is this the violent rhetoric Obama said to stop? Where is Obama in all of this violence and inflammatory rhetoric coming from his ilk? And while Obama is at it he can tell those Dems to get back to work and stop hiding. There is law in this country. What if the Republicans had done the same thing with ObamaCare? How do you think that would have looked to the Americans expecting law and democracy in their own country?

We are a civil society so start acting like it. Stop acting like the Greece rioters and Al Qiada. And stop acting like you are the only ones making consesions. You are not a protected ilite group

Wis. Protesters Can‘t Explain Why They’re Rallying

One union “spokesperson,” however, doesn’t have any trouble saying that if the bill passes someone will “throw the first brick into the statehouse,“ which will make him ”happy.” There’s also the gem of one man claiming the phrase “liberty and justice for all” is part of the preamble to the Constitution:

To be fair, we can’t say this sample represents the entire group of protesters. But it does seem to support accusations that at least some are protesting for protesting‘s sake and don’t understand why they’re out there.

You've got to love these useful idiots. From the videos coming out of these protests you'd think they were all ignorant and violent. Not all are. But there sure are a lot of them. You can't help but laugh at these ignoramuses protesting. This is better then TV. You can't write this stuff.

Enjoy your protest. But for goodness sake keep it peaceful and legal.
