Karl Rove Delivers An Absolutely Epic Blasting to Obama's Boy Bill Burton

You have to love the way Rove handed this guy his, @$$ to him. These liberals just don't have a chance against the truth. All they have is their half baked rhetoric and personal attacks. I'd like to see more of this from our presidential candidates. Rove is one smart guy that knows his stuff.
KARL ROVE: The president set up political battle. He had the votes in November and December of last year to get his, quote, "clean debt" ceiling. But instead, he said he wanted the Republicans to, quote, "have ownership" in the deficit. So, he waited until there is a Republican House and then tried to jam them, insisting on a clean debt ceiling. The Republicans said we want to have deficit reduction before we vote for an increase in the debt ceiling. They got it. The president applauded that bill and signed it.
So, you know, I love it. The Republicans passed a budget. The Democrats in the Senate haven't. The Republicans have passed a slew of job creating measures and the Democrats in the Senate haven't.
And the president now sits here and lectures us about how we need to take action. Well, what is his action? He has yet put pen to paper and issue a jobs plan or a deficit reduction plan in the last nine months.
BILL BURTON: You know, Karl --
ROVE: So, please, don't talk to me about ideological rigidity. It came from your White House.
(CROSSTALK)
BURTON: -- but as someone who is a leader in the White House that turned a record surplus into a deficit that got us involved in a war that we never shouldn't have been in and turned the floor of the New York Stock Exchange into a casino, I don't think the American people are quite ready to hear a lecture from you on good governance.
"FOX NEWS SUNDAY" HOST BRET BAIER: Hold on, Bill.
ROVE: You know, Bill --
BAIER: Hold on, Karl.
ROVE: I appreciate the insults, Bill --
(CROSSTALK)
ROVE: The fact of the matter is, is you talk about the financial difficulties we had in 2008, I remember your boss coming to the United States Senate in 2005 and blocking the bill that attempted to rein in Fanny and Freddie before -- while we still had in time to stop disaster from coming and your man joined in a filibuster by every Democrat of the reform bill and then turned around in October of 2008 and finally belatedly voted for it.
And you have you -- want to criticize the Iraq war, you got a secretary of state in your administration who voted for it.
BAIER: OK. Let me just ask the question that he posed originally and that is the plan. That is a lot of people asking, are asking where is the plan? Waiting on the speech. The Senate Democrats have not passed budget in x number of days, almost two years. What about answering that part of Karl's charges?
BURTON: OK. So, that piece of a question. What has the president done to create jobs? There are things that he could sign into law right now if Congress would move forward on it. The payroll tax, the infrastructure banks, trade deals.
BAIER: Well, the trade deals are still in the White House according to Republicans on Capitol Hill, that they haven't sent them over from the White House to Senator McConnell.
BURTON: OK.
BAIER: So, that's thing that's not over.
BURTON: The point is that there are things that Congress could do right now that could help to create jobs. And you're going to hear from the president very soon, on more ideas that he has about this.
And just back to one thing that Karl said -- Karl, yes, I was in that meeting where the president made that point to Eric Cantor. And the point was, yes, elections have consequences and what president needs in Washington are partners who will work with him to actually make progress in this country, not just people like Eric Cantor and John Boehner and Mitch McConnell who would much rather see the economy do poorly so that they can score political points than see America succeed.
ROVE: Bill, with all due respect -- do not question motivations and the integrity of the people on the other side. It's a really bad way to try and get partners. I don't --
(CROSSTALK)
ROVE: We can't have -- we can't have a predictive -- we can't have a political disagreement without me questioning your motivations. That's not a way to get partners.
(CROSSTALK)
BAIER: One at a time.
ROVE: You mentioned a series of ideas, the Democrats a hoping that
(CROSSTALK)
BAIER: Everybody has got to stop.
ROVE: And the president has yet to lay out -- the president has yet to lay out a plan. You mentioned the infrastructure bank -- Democrats have opposed infrastructure bank saying we don't have more money that the government can to lend to bailout certain businesses.
BURTON: Karl, the president --
(CROSSTALK)
BURTON: There's a difference between whether or not there's a plan or whether or not Karl Rove endorses it.
ROVE: The president has talked about -- yes, there is no the plan. The president has talked briefly, sort of raised a little bit of the curtain to suggest that he's going to ask for an extension to payroll tax holiday, temporary tax cuts don't encourage economic growth. We've had payroll tax cut this year and had we gotten robust economic growth as a result? No.
BAIER: OK. I'm trying to be the traffic cop here. And there's a little delay, Karl, so I know you can't hear right now when I try to jump in -- and I'm sure that's why haven't stopped when I have.
ROVE: Not really, Bret.

Liberal Protesters Arrested Over Proposed Canada-to-Texas Oil Pipeline

AP
Arrests are beginning outside the White House as police remove dozens of protesters who are hoping to convince President Barack Obama to block TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline.
The opening day of a two-week civil disobedience campaign, 50 protesters remain in jail after being arrested outside the White House on Saturday.
It seems that liberals just can't help being lawless will they destroy any progress in our economy and energy needs.

Maxine Waters said, ‘Tea Party Can Go Straight to Hell’

Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters had strong words for the Tea Party, saying they could go “straight to hell”.
Speaking at a forum in her California district, Waters vowed to push Congress to create more jobs, the Los

“I’m not afraid of anybody,” Waters told the crowd. “This is a tough game. You can’t be intimidated. You can’t be frightened. As far as I’m concerned, the Tea Party can go straight to hell.”
The Democrats just don't stand for anything any more. They just stand against everything. You can't create jobs with rhetoric and spending tax payers money that we do not have and raising taxes. It's no wonder we are heading for another recession without leaving the last one.

These idiots have been in total control and did everything they wanted and it didn't work. Doing more of the same is just crazy. But that is exactly what the Democrats want to do. I can't wait for 2012 when Americans clip the Democratic Parties wings for what they did to this country.

Ask, What Has Obama Done To Deserve Another Term?

Ask every Obama supporter you talk to, what has Obama done to deserve a second term. Tell them to do it without bashing Republicans. They can't do it. I know there are a lot of liberals that read this blog. I'd like to have one liberal or Democrat to answer this question.

We Are Going Into Another Recession Without Coming Out Of The First Recession

(Reuters) - Morgan Stanley slashed its global growth forecast for 2011 and 2012, saying the U.S. and the euro zone were "dangerously close to a recession", and criticized policymakers in Washington and Europe for not acting more decisively to contain the sovereign debt crisis.
The bank cut its global gross domestic product growth forecast to 3.9 percent from 4.2 percent for 2011, and to 3.8 percent from 4.5 percent for 2012.

"Our revised forecasts show the US and the euro area hovering dangerously close to a recession — defined as two consecutive quarters of contraction — over the next 6-12 months," Joachim Fels, who co-heads Morgan Stanley's global economics team, said in a research note dated Wednesday.

As gold hit new record highs of $1,832 an oz. Wall Street is rolling down hill fast. Unemployment is still crazy high after all these years. This is very bad news for the American people. Thanks to the Democratic party and Obama 1 in 5 children live in poverty here in America. The Democratic Party promised that this wouldn't happen if they pasted all their economic stimulus bills. But all those bills did was raise our national debt to unsustainable levels. We have yet to get out of the recession that Obama said he would get us out of. I have to say it, we conservatives told you nothing Obama did would work. We told you this would happen and it is. If you vote for more of this then you are just an anarchist.
Aren't you glade you prepared for this next round of recessions? If you are a liberal you didn't do anything. That is your MO.

Union Turn To Violence In Record Numbers Here In America

Forty-five thousand Verizon workers from Massachusetts to Virginia went on strike earlier this month after the contract for the company’s wireline division ended August 6. Workers are in protest to management asking for changes in the contract to strengthen the wireline business which has been in decline for more than a decade. Now some think one Brooklyn CWA post has possibly crossed the line calling for, among other things, torture:
“The voice of a representative encourages members to deal harshly with ‘managers and scabs.’
‘It is open season. Follow them safely, but when you get to a location, torture them, torture them with chants and noise. Be so loud that they can’t concentrate and wish they never got out of bed,’ says the recorded voice. Another part of the message states:
‘They are trying to break our union. Understand brothers and sisters, we can never let these [expletive] piece of [expletive] pigs break us. So, we are stepping up our efforts.’
The message stopped short of calling for physical violence, but it was removed after a NewsChannel 9 reporter called the CWA for comment. “

We’ve all heard the stories of shakedowns and bullying that occurs to many non-unionized workers and private business owners. However, the thuggery might have gone beyond the pale recently when one Ohio business owner was repeatedly harassed, then shot and almost killed, for allegedly being non-union.
John King owns one of Toledo’s largest non-union electrical contracting businesses. With 25 employees and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, King’s business reportedly often thrives while other unionized electrical contracting businesses fail due to their higher rates.
However, King’s success may be making him a prime target for union thugs, including threats and violence.
King says he holds no animus towards the union, stating that he only ever wanted to do what he loved to do. Labor Union Report writes that after some college, King did a stint with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers before being drafted into the military. Following his service, King went solo and became the youngest independent electrical contractor in the Toledo area.
But King’s success, especially during the recession, may have come with a price, including lawsuits, harassment, slashed tires and multiple incidents of vandalism, just to name a few. LUR reports:
Unfortunately, being a non-union electrical company, King has always been on the radar of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). In fact, in 2006, he won a significant case against the IBEW at the US Court of Appeals, after the union had improperly promised his electricians jobs on union sites if they voted the union into King’s company.

Since he’s been in business, in addition to the legal battles and verbal abuse, King’s company has been vandalized and threatened on numerous occasions.
“Back then, it was nothing to have to regularly buy a new set of tires,” King said during a telephone interview on Tuesday. “The ice pick was the weapon of choice.”
Until Wednesday, the worst of the union attacks on King and his business came in the mid-eighties during the UAW strike at AP Parts. During a lull in the lengthy strike, King’s business was picketed by more than 50 IBEW picketers. This was at a time when he only had eight or nine employees. One of his employees, whose car was trashed by the union picketers, was also reportedly assaulted by IBEW thugs.
Unfortunately, the vandalism has never stopped. This year alone, he’s had to report three incidents of damage . This doesn’t include the incidents of stalking he and his men have to go through while they’re working.
In one incident earlier this year, rocks were thrown through the front windows of his shop, one of which had the word “kill” written on it.
But last Wednesday the attacks grew more heinous when King discovered an individual on his property attempting to vandalize his SUV.  When King yelled at the man to stop, the vandal shot King, hitting him in the arm.
According to LUR, police recovered a shell casing from the scene the night of the shooting in addition to a Swiss Army knife. The knife was presumably going to be used to slash King’s tires yet again.
LUR reports that neither the police nor King are certain which union was behind the attack, but given that the word “SCAB” was scrawled on King’s vehicle, there is a good indication the incident was union-related.
King, who is offering a $10,000 reward for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspect, praised police for their thoroughness in the investigation.
We should perhaps also point out that King’s shooting comes on the heels of a controversial declaration made by the union that represents Verizon workers, when it declared “open season” on “managers and scabs.” The Blaze reported:
“The voice of a representative encourages members to deal harshly with ‘managers and scabs.’
‘It is open season. Follow them safely, but when you get to a location, torture them, torture them with chants and noise. Be so loud that they can’t concentrate and wish they never got out of bed,’ says the recorded voice. Another part of the message states:
WTOL brings us the report and interview with King:
Listen to him tell the tale, below:

Obama Is Screwing The Black Community And They Are "Tired" Of It

Obama and the Democratic Party passed a huge Stimulus Bill and many jobs bills in their first two years. Obama and the Democratic Party got everything they wanted. Most blacks voted for Obama and approved of what Obama was doing with a record 98% approval rating. They thought that Obama would raise up their condition, no matter what their condition was in society. Most blacks thought that having a half black president would mean more for them in the future. They thought Obama would take care of them like he has taken care of the unions. Heck, I thought he would take care of them too. But I was wrong.

All we have to look at is the Cause(the Bills passed) and the Effect(the outcome) of what has happened to the black community since Obama and the Democratic Party took over and passed every bill they wanted. They have lost decades of economic gains in just a few short years of Obama and Democratic Party policies. The Democratic Party and Obama handed out billions of our money too who they chose. The blacks look around and see all that money going into our debt and they are in worse shape as a community then they were before the Democrats started handing out money to their 'friends'.

To make things even worse, Obama isn't even going to any black communities on his bus tour. He is spending all his time with the whites. That speaks volumes to the black community. Blacks are starting to come out of the ether and realize what condition Obama and the Democratic Party put them in. Obama has lost 15% approval among blacks. After this bus tour I'm sure it will wake up many blacks to what the President and Democratic Party think of them. I'm sure Obama will make it up to them as an after thought in the campaign. But Obama said this isn't a campaign tour. It is an economic tour or jobs tour. Why is Obama only going to white areas to talk about jobs? Is it because he thinks that the jobs of the future will be held by whites? Does Obama not think the black community have much of a chance for creating jobs in their community?  When you look at the liberal educational system in black communities it doesn't give them much hope for a bright future. I just can't figure our what is going through Obama's head. The black community is suffering much worse then any other race. That is a fact. Why is that a fact? Liberals would have us believe that their race is the reason. But that is just racism with a smile.

I think that the black communities have given into the Democratic Parties promise of getting something for their votes. For decades now the Democratic Party have been trying to buy the minority and poor votes with promises of free stuff "Obama money". They don't promise jobs, they promise benefits for voting Democratic Party. Look at cities like Detroit that have been run down from the richest city in the world to a play I wouldn't let my dog rome. Detroit have voted for Democrats for over 50 years. The liberal culture destroyed Detroit, not blacks. It's time blacks bail from the Party and President that bailed on them. If blacks keep voting in these liberal idiots they will keep getting more of the same. I'd like to know what you think of the way blacks have fared over this presidency?

The Obama Blame And Bash RNC Bus Tour

Click on photo to view the bus vs. 'Beast' slideshow. (AP/Carolyn Kaster)
Look at the size of his carbon foot print.

Didn't Obama say he was going to focus on jobs and the economy? While the rest of the nation is suffering in the Obama never ending recession our president is out tooling around the nation doing the only thing he knows how. Selling himself and his agenda and blaming and bashing the Republican Party for everything. All this community organizer can do is campaign and try and tell us that things aren't as bad as they seem. He can't run on his record or the promises he made the last time he ran for president.

This country has gone down hill fast since the president took office and he hasn't done anything to fix the fast dropping economy but talk a good game. I don't care how inept he has been but to just run and hide isn't presidential at all. If he wants to save America then he needs to be present in
Washington. Giving a hard sell to the American people while waisting our money isn't going to fix anything and he knows it. All this bus tour is is an early campaign paid for by the American people. Is that all we expect from a president? Is him getting a second term more important then fixing the economy and lowering our national debt?

The reason why Obama is taking this early campaign tour is so that he can hard sell his lack of results presidency. He knows that the economy is screwed for long after the next person gets into office and that is why he is trying to blow smoke up the American peoples butts. The hard sell and more empty promises of better times in the future are all he has. He doesn't have a plan to create jobs other then more of the same tax and tariff American businesses and spend even more money as if the debt was not a big deal all ready.

This bus tour is his last hope. He has lost 14% among black voters. Independents are running away from him in droves and most Americans know that he has put America on the wrong course. For Obama to save his presidency he needs to con the American people into thinking that this economy is the Republicans and Tea Parties fault. He will keep blaming the Republicans even though they just have control of 1/2 of 1/3 of the government. The Democratic Party had total control of all 3 branches of government for over 2 years as well as controlling both Houses of Congress in the last 2 years of the Bush presidency. But that can't stop Obama from community organizing his way out of this mess he and the Democratic Party made.

Americans are getting sick and tired of talk and promises of better times in the future. We know that the best times are in our past and that the Democratic Party had the power and they used it to lower the classes. The Democratic Party want more poor and fewer people paying taxes. It serves them and their buying of votes for longer unemployment. Americans don't want handouts for votes. We want the government to get out of the way and grow like TX has done. We don't want more of the same big spending theories. We want what has worked in other States and Countries. We want private sector growth.
President Obama is barnstorming the heartland to boost US jobs in a taxpayer-financed luxury bus the government had custom built -- in Canada.

The $1.1 million vehicle, one of two that Quebec-based Prevost sold the government, has been tricked out by the Secret Service with state-of-the-art security features and creature comforts.

Michele Bachmann Won Iowa Straw Poll:OPEN THREAD

Open Thread...
Michele Bachmann
Michele Bachmann is a three-term congresswoman and founder of the House Tea Party Caucus. She is a former attorney known for fiery attacks on President Obama. I couldn't be happier that she won. I really like her. She really gets under the MSM and liberals skin. I'm sure we will see how sexist the left-wing and Democrats can be. Just remember what they did to Hillary Clinton and she was one of their own?
