Democratic Party Up For Another Union Bailout

We are all suffering right now in this economy. The stimulus bill, $400 billion still left to spend, did next to nothing for we the people. It didn't help infrastructure or jobs but it did help out the states and the public unions that support the Democratic Party. But I'm having a hard time with Congress being called back in session so that we the people can bail out the public union again so that real cuts in state and federal budgets don't have to be made. I'm getting sick of the first cuts being made to teachers, fire and police when there is so much waste in our government still. And then when we get sick of bailing out the public unions with private money then they say we don't care. Why is it that these public unions and the Democratic party don't want to spread the wealth like they preach to us? God knows we need to make cuts. The private sector has had all the cuts and pain while the public sector has grown on our dime. It's time to cut all the stupid unneeded programmes first. We also must look at cutting public unions pensions and other costs that have gotten way out of hand over the last couple decades. We,the private sector, need to stop paying for this out of control governments lavish spending and union benefits. Public union doesn't mean they are above us and thus make more then us. We are not their servants. And if the public unions want to keep their jobs they better start using their influence on the Democratic Party to start making hard cuts in state and federal budgets first. If the public unions don't use the power they pay for,in the Democratic party, then we the people need to do to the public unions what they are doing to us. We need to break them. We can no longer bleed and work for the public unions want. It's high time we take back our money so we can spend it. And if the public unions don't make real and tangible cuts to pensions and pay then it's time we do what Greece has done. I'm sorry but we need to start taking care of the sector that is paying all the bills in this country. Thanks to the Democratic Party the private sector has taken a massive beating from their policies. So instead of finding ways to get $26 billion out of the hemorrhaging private sector,Congress needs to get out of the way of the private sector so we can pay for the public unions interests. We are not against the unions like the unions are against we the private sector that paid for their lifestyles. But at this point most tax paying Americans could care less what the public unions want. It just greed on the part of the unions and control on the part of the Democratic Party. If the unions want to make money,in a spread the wealth kind of way, then they should push for the private sector to make more money. If the private sector does well then there is a spreading of the wealth and we can afford to grow the public sector. But we all know this isn't about spreading the wealth. If this was about spreading the wealth they would have been doing it free will along time ago. This is about greed. The public unions are giving up power to the Democratic Party so that the Democratic Party gives them more of our wealth. Just look at the facts of where our money has gone and where it is going. This is the unholiest alliance in our government and we need to stop it now.

  1. The union want the wealth, not spread the wealth. Look at the Obama vacations and ask why they aren't "spreading the wealth"? They talk about the greed of others but never their own greed.

  2. Public Unions I Beleive Must Be Brought Back To Realality. In Private Sector If You Do Not Make Profits All Suffer In That Business. Public Sector Makes NO Contribution What So Ever To Economy And Has Become A Real Burden On Tax Payers. Public Unions Just Go To The Politicans As Do Private Sector Unions. Big Difference To Me Private Sector Uses Profits To Pass On To Unions. Public Sector Needs NO Profit But Still Passes Benifits To Unions That Do Not Benifit Economy. Citizens In A Lose/Lose Situation. Poorly Run Governemnt Programs With Well Payed Employees Helps Economy And Tax Payers HOW?

  3. Al, the fact that you don't understand the benefit of union wages doesn't hinder you from speaking about it. Both public sector and private sector unions benefit the economy greatly. They purchase goods and services.

They pay taxes on their salaries so your questions about benefiting taxpayers how overlooks one vital thing, public sector union workers pay taxes too. you and your anti-union friends aren't the only taxpayers in America. with my skill set and a good union wage I probably pay more taxes than you, so don't act like your the only one who pays taxes.

I don't have the time nor the inclination to school you on the benefits of a well-paid society.

  10. Joe The Jobs Were SAVED Cause STATES Could Not Pay The Freight. Politicans Paying Back Unions. Private Sector Cuts Back, Government Takes Tax Payers MONEY And Saves Both Their And Union Asses. Wonder If Unions Will Come Back To Tax Payers Watering Trough BUT What Happens If The Trough Goes Dry Joe. Hell We Can Be Greece. The Unions Handled Being Told Country Broke Well.

Spending 26 Billion And We Save 1.9 Billion. Just Wondering. Guess Ill Go Spend Thousand Bucks And Maybe Save A Hundred Dollars Doing It.

Ole Great Teacher Where Are Those Jobs? Lazering !

  11. Al so? as a student you suck too. but here's todays lesson.

The bill as introduced will cut 1.4 billion off the federal deficit. A good thing. And the trough is paid for so no new taxes, only closing loopholes that should have never existed.

So the money isn't coming on the backs of the average taxpayer like you or I. A good thing again.

  12. Now how bout Matty Moroun buying opposition to a second span across the detroit river at a location that is the best area to build another crossing? He's gained allies in republican state senators who have little involvement in the area and represent areas hundreds of miles away by throwing money at them.

Don't you find it strange that business around the area, the Ohio GOP, the Canadian govt., the chamber of commerce, and republican leader of Oakland County want it, but state senators in areas like Dewitt and Grandeville oppose it?

  13. Joe Just Like Liberals Not Satisified With Regime Not All Politicans Think Alike And That I Dont Find Strange. I Believe The Bridge Should Be Built Next To The Original Like Port Huron. Dont Make It Right Or Strange Just My Opinion!

"Joe As A Teacher You Suck." BWAAAAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHA AL you are the funniest blogger ever. I can't stop laughing because this just struck me funny as all get out.

  15. Al, i wonder why you believe a bridge that has little or no infrastructure support, and the Canadian govt. says will not happen is the best choice? That could be a problem as the Canadian govt has to sign off on a new bridge.

Clearly the DRIC is the common sense approach given the lack of infrastructure to handle any more traffic volume at the Ambassador. Not to mention the Canadian govt's desire to help fund it. But i'm sure there's a completely silly partisan reason for your reason.

As for finding it strange, why would the state senator from the the west side want to stop a bridge being built, besides the money Moroun has spent on him?

Come now children open your minds?

  16. Joe Every Time I Hear A Liberal Say Open Your Mind Child I Find A Unfamilar Hand In My Pocket Grabbing Whats Left Of My Cash!

Regarding Bailing Out Of The Union Why Was Not 26 Billion Taken Out Of Left Over Stimulus. If Tax Payers Are Footing The Bill That Makes More Sense.

It Would Not Surprize Me To See Stimulus Show Up Just Prior To Mid Terms Also. It Would Be Like A Miricle,Never Mind Libs Dont Beleive In Them, But It Sure Would Be Great Timing.

  17. Joe Let Me Know When The 1.4 Billion Comes Off The Defict. Politicans Aint Going To Let That Happen Joe. There Will Be A Union That City Or State Cant Afford And POOF All Gone.

Great Teacher Lets See If I Got This Right. Elected School Boards OK Teacher Contracts Including Wages And Benifits In Another State And Oops Now They Cannot Afford Contract. So Tax Payers Money From Other States That Had NO Input On School Boards Decision Get To Pay For Contract. Now Eventually Does That Not Lead To The Question: Whos Left To Pay? Just Wondering
