When Is It OK To Take Anothers Property?

We are at a cultural crossroads in America. The culture in Washington is one that goes against my Christian beliefs. But it also goes against Jewish and Islamic beliefs as well. But since I'm a Christian I will give that perspective. Charity is mentioned in the Holy Bible many times. Charity is the FREE WILL giving of your own property and giving it to another less fortunate person. "Social justice" and "Spread the wealth" are not free will giving. This is what God says about taking another persons property.
Seventh Commandment

Thou shalt not steal.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God that we may not take our neighbor’s money or goods, nor get them by false ware or dealing, but help him to improve and protect his property and business.

Now for decades I've been hearing about abortion right and that no one has the right to tell a women what to do with her body or with what is in her body. The left have been sqaying that as long as the baby is inside the mother then she can do with that baby what she wants to. She can smoke, drink,do drugs. She can even kill the baby inside her in the most torturous ways imaginable because it is in her body.  Where are they now that the government wants to take over her bodily rights? Any rights given to you by God are yours to do what you will with them. But now that the government sees fit to make your health care a right then they can give it and take it away. The left have now changed their beliefs on our bodies and our property. Will you let them do this to you? The government doesn't have anything that hasn't been taken form someone else. The government doesn't give you health care. It takes it and gives it out as it sees fit.
Fifth Commandment
Thou shalt not kill.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God that we may not hurt nor harm our neighbor in his body, but help and befriend him in every bodily need.
Thou shalt not kill.

The "change" that I see Obama doing to our country is it is OK to take from the rich and give to the poor. Even though by definition alone it is considered stealing the federal government is above those laws of God and man. And the left want the right to take my money and give it to a woman to pay to kill her child. Where are my religious rights? Why do I have to pay to do something that is against my beliefs.                                                                                                                                                    We are "one nation under God" and "in God we trust". The left have made it their mission in life to remove God from our country.  Our founding fathers put God in His rightful place in our nation. He is the cornerstone of our nation through the Bill of Rights and the USA Constitution. Seperation of Church and State is meant to keep the government out of the Church but they surely didn't want to remove the Church/God from influence in State affairs.                                                                                                                                                   How does taking God out of the State effect our nation? Well we have our God given right. If they succeed in taking God out of our country then there is no "God given rights". Well then without having any God given rights then where would we get our rights from? That would be were the Progressives come in to "fundamentaly change" our nation. Progressives want power, even Gods power. Everything the Progressives do is to take from the people and redistribute what they get as they see fit. Conservatives do not want power. They want power to be given back to the people. That is why conservatives keep going back to the Constitution. The Constitution is the enemy of the Progressive agenda,as well as God. We conservatives need to start waking America up to the true agenda of the Progressive agenda. They aren't trying anything new. If you want to know how the Progressives agenda works then look at most of the past and other nations. Most countries have tried Progressivism in one form of another and it has never ever worked. What form of governemnt has worked and worked better then any other form of government in the history of mankind? It's not a Democracy, socialism, marxism, communism, facism. The only form of government that has proven itself to be the most superiour form of government known to any nation is a Democratic Republic that is under God. We are the only nation that has ever been as great as America. And just because John Lennon sang a song that Imagined a Progressive world without war, religion and hate doesn't mean it can be obtained by anyone other then God. This is an imperfect world and country but it's the best we have until God calles us home. God Bless America. And if you think He hasn't blessed us as a nation then find me a more blessed nation then America.

I Think He Needs To Eat Better And Work Out Once In A While

This video is of Richard Trumka, President of the AFL-CIO in Washington D.C. yesterday.
There are some big problems with these sheeples "Stop Big Insurance" Progressive talking points. First off Medicare is the #1 insurance that turns down the most for care. Yes the governement option that we already have withholds medical treatment more then any other insurance company. And Medicare has more waste then the insurance companies have profit. In other words the government waste more then the 3.4% profit margin the insurance companies make. And while Big Labor wants this health care reform they don't want to pay for it.  And how in the world can the government compeat with the non-profit Blue Cross? You can't do better then that when it comes to profit. Is there anyone out there that believes that insurance companies are the enemy of the people? Or could it be BIG Government and Big Labor that are our real enemies? Take a look at the facts and then ask yourself if what these idiots in Washington DC and Big Labor Unions are trying to do is in our best interest or theirs. If this is such a great thing for these unions then let them pay for it. We need to stop listening to the Progressive lies these people are trying to sell us. We all want people to have a fair shake when it comes to previous conditions. Both parties agree with that part of the bill. It's just all the other BS progressive special interests that are killing the bill. When Big Labor Unions pay for whaqt they want and the governement Medicare cleans up their messes then maybe we will listen to them. But until then they are just playing loose with the facts and trying to pull the wool over our eyes by attacking the insurance companies while the rest play loose and free with our money. An another thing. Have you ever heard of having to pay almost $2 tillion to save money? What kind of VooDoo  are they trying to pass off as a good idea?

Democrat Pull The Nuclear Option On Health Care Reform

Well they did it. The Democrats show us how hypocritical they really are when it comes to the nuclear option. I think this will be a major blow to the Democratic party. I think that the Democrats have misread what the people wanted. But we will all find out soon enough if I am right or wrong. If I'm right the Democrats will lose big in Nov and in 2012. The Democrats have also energized the TEA Party movement with this last move to jam this health care down our throats. Now I do think this is a big win for the Progressives and the Republicans. The only losers will be the Democratic Party and the American people.  I would really like to know what everyone thinks about this and how it will effect both the Democrats and the Republican parties in the future. This is a major part of our economy and it shouldn't have gone down like this with so few votes. But maybe now that this is over the Democrats can get on with their promise to make jobs and the economy the number one thing on their docket. But somehow I don't think they will do that. I think they will go right for the American economic jugular vein, energy. If they push Cap and Trade then they are trying to "fundamentaly change" America by destroying the old great America.

Even Warren Buffet Thinks Congress Should Scrap This Bill And Start Over

Grace-Marie Turner on President Obama's Health Care Summit

MedicaidA healthcare reform expert warns that the healthcare legislation Democrats are pushing will be a major expansion of a welfare program that is already being administered poorly.

Congressman Peter Roskam (R-Illinois) last week pointed out that over half of the health insurance expansion obtained by Americans through the Democrats' health bill is accomplished by putting them on Medicaid.

Grace-Marie Turner, president of the Galen Institute, served for a year and a half on a commission that studied Medicaid. She feels that in many states, Medicaid has become the "ghetto of our healthcare system," and adds that far too often, people are promised access to care but cannot find a doctor or dentist to see them because the program pays so little.

"How dare we think of putting another 15 million of the 30 million that would allegedly be covered through this bill, expanding Medicaid, on a program that already is having a hard time serving the people who are on the program," Turner contends.  "The other 15 million that would get coverage would be in these government-required policies that would be hugely expensive.  And many of them will be required to pay for some -- or in many cases, a large portion of -- their health coverage."

One of President Obama's economic advisers, Warren Buffet, suggested yesterday that Congress should scrap the current healthcare bill and start over with the main goal of addressing rising healthcare costs.

Obama Might Try And Go To The Center For Health Care Reform

It might be too late as many Americans have already given up on this Congress. Is Obama doing the right thing? Is he doing enough to show Americans he wants to do what is best for them? And can we afford this health care reform if it is still $1 trillion?
President Barack Obama said Tuesday he was open to four new Republican proposals on health care legislation, a gesture of bipartisanship meant to jump-start his stalled drive to overhaul the system.
Obama detailed the ideas, all of which were raised at a bipartisan health care summit last week, in a letter to congressional leaders. In a nod to his 2008 presidential rival, Obama also said he had eliminated a special deal for Medicare Advantage beneficiaries in Florida and other states that drew criticism at the summit from Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
The proposals Obama listed are: sending investigators disguised as patients to uncover fraud and waste, expanding medical malpractice reform pilot programs, increasing payments to Medicaid providers and expanding the use of health savings accounts.
"I said throughout this process that I'd continue to draw on the best ideas from both parties, and I'm open to these proposals in that spirit," wrote Obama, who will make remarks Wednesday at the White House on a path forward for his legislation.
He rejected the GOP's preferred approach of scrapping the existing sweeping overhaul bills and starting afresh with step-by-step changes.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Obama's letter "brings us just another step closer to passing the bill."
"We hope to incorporate some of the suggestions," she said.
Obama's announcement did not appear to win over any Republicans, who complained the underlying legislation remained fatally flawed, and the Senate GOP leader warned of reprisals in this fall's midterms elections if the Democrats go forward. But it could give wavering Democrats political cover by showing the White House has been willing to compromise in the wake of last week's summit.
"We're anxious to get health care done, which we will get done," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said after Obama released the letter. Democrats proceed at their own political peril, said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.
"I want to assure our Democratic friends that if they are somehow able to pass this bill in the House, it will be the issue in every race in America," McConnell said.
At its core the Democrats' legislation would extend coverage to 30 million uninsured Americans over 10 years with a first-time mandate for nearly everyone to buy insurance and a host of new requirements on insurers and employers. However, the package soon to reach the House will be less expensive than the one the House passed in November and will contain no government-run insurance program to compete with private insurers, making it more appealing to some moderates.
Democrats are eyeing a controversial procedure known as "budget reconciliation" to get the legislation to Obama. Under this process, the House would pass the Senate-passed overhaul bill, and both chambers would pass a package of changes to the legislation designed to appeal to House Democrats. The changes — they could include Obama's suggested Republican ideas — could pass under budget rules allowing a simple majority vote in the Senate. It's Democrats' only way forward because Republicans control 41 Senate votes, just enough block the 60-vote supermajority usually required for action.
But the approach infuriates Republicans, even though they've used it in the past, and makes some Democratic moderates uneasy. White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel defended the tactic after emerging from a meeting at the Capitol with Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.
"Reconciliation is a vehicle that's been used many times," Emanuel said. "This is a normal procedure, nothing different out of it."
Obama said he was open to these four GOP ideas:
—Conducting undercover investigations of Medicare and Medicaid providers to search for waste, fraud and abuse, an idea put forth by Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., at least week's summit.
— Experimenting with specialized health courts as an alternative to jury trials in medical malpractice cases to cut down on defensive medicine. That idea has been promoted both by Democrats and Republicans, including Coburn and Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., who attended the summit.
The approach calls for an expert judge — not a jury — to hear the evidence and make a final determination in cases where a patient has suffered harm. Trial lawyers are strongly opposed to the concept.
Months ago, Obama budgeted $23 million for states to experiment with alternatives to malpractice litigation, but at the time he stopped short of endorsing health courts. The president now says he wants to more than double the budget for state experiments to $50 million.
—Obama also agreed that health savings accounts would be offered in new markets his plan sets up for individuals and small business to purchase coverage. Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., brought up the idea at the summit.
The president said he's open to the tax-sheltered accounts, which go hand-in-hand with high-deductible health insurance policies. Premiums on those policies are lower than for regular health insurance, and people who have them use the health savings accounts to pay their out-of-pockets costs.
—Obama also suggested increasing reimbursements to Medicaid providers, a concern raised by Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa.
"That's just one thing," Coburn said of the president's desire to incorporate his proposal. "We need to start over," Coburn said, contending the bill doesn't address underlying issues of health care costs and quality.
Grassley said Obama's willingness to include his idea didn't change his opposition to the overall legislation. "There are other things more important," like its lack of caps on liability damages and its inclusion of an individual mandate, he said.
Democrats argue that the GOP calls to scrap the existing legislation and start anew further their argument that Republicans have been unreasonably opposed to almost any compromise, justifying the White House decision to push for passage with no GOP help at all.
Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., said he hadn't seen Obama's proposal to eliminate the provision he championed to let about 800,000 Florida seniors enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans keep their extra benefits. But, Nelson said, "I do not think it should be removed."

Leaked Internal House Leadership Whip Count Shows 47 Dems at No, 8 Leaning No and 12 Undecided

Plumline’s Greg Sargent has posted the results of a highly confidential House Democratic Party Whip Count which shows 47 Democrats at No on a public option, with another 8 leaning No for a total of 56. A dozen Democratic House members are still undecided. The hard No votes, alone, are enough to kill the bill. The leaked document was produced by the U.S. House Majority Whip’s office.
In a major violation of whipping protocol, the document was shared with Progressive House members who refuse to vote for health reform unless it contains a robust public option. Plumline reports that the Progressive Members of Congress (hard core left-wingers) blamed everyone: the White House and the Democratic leadership for not putting enough pressure on members to vote for the public option, from Plumline:
“House progressives argue that the document should light a fire under Dem leaders. One House progressive tells me he’s convinced that most of the undecideds, and a number of the No votes, can be won over with the right mix of pressure and incentives — which only the House leadership and the White House can provide.”
“Only leadership and the White House can get this done,” this progressive says.
Plumline quotes the spokesperson for James Clyburn, the House Majority Whip: “Kristie Greco would only say: ‘We currently do not have the votes for a robust public option.’”
For a look at how the Dems do not have enough votes in the Senate, click here.
Plumline begins the start of the first push back from Progressives since Senator Durbin (D-IL) blamed liberals for forcing their hand and including the public option — and likely is the start of the new inside the beltway drama headlined by Democrats and now in its second day: Who-gets-blamed-for-the-failure-of-the-public-option? We all know that the Democrats always blame the Republicans even when it is clearly not their fault.

Look At That Big Full Face/Is Moore For Real?

Questioning the Numbersmoore cuba

Moore says that because Cubans get such good health care, they live longer and it is true that a U.N. report claims that they live nearly two months longer. But the United Nations didn't gather any data, said Carro.
"The United Nations simply reports whatever the government in Cuba reports, so that we have no objective way to know what the real statistics are," he said.
Although Cuba claims to have low infant mortality rates, doctors have said the data is misleading because when there might be indications of problems with the fetus, there is a widespread practice of forced abortions.
Julio Alfonso said, "We personally used to do 70 to 80 abortions a day." Yanet Sanchez, a Cuban exile, said she was simply told to submit to an abortion. "They told me I should end the pregnancy," said Sanchez. "It was my very first pregnancy. I wanted to have the child."
Other doctors have said that if a child dies a few hours after birth, they don't count it as ever having lived, which ultimately makes infant mortality in Cuba look better than that of the United States.
"It changes the number, even though the same number of children may be dying or more," said Carro.  Moore needs to get his facts right. Don't ya link???
