Government Spending Doesn’t Create Lasting Jobs

As we wait for President Obama’s big new jobs plan, which will be the same as the old failed stimulus plan, in tonight speech to a joint session of Congress, it would behoove us to take a few minutes to watch the video below from the Cato Institute.
If we want to get out of these recessions we need to listen to what the businesses say will work for them. If it is a payoff to anyone like the unions it wont work. Growing government and our debt make the problem even worse. Do no harm.

The Republican plans put into effect what businesses say will help them grow. Obama's plan will most likely be a piecemeal of union and state bailouts and tax breaks. We can't afford to go into deeper debt. Do no harm.

Obama needs to stop trying to buy votes with gifts of tax payer money. If his jobs speech becomes a campaign speech loaded with political rhetoric and payoffs it will further turn off the country and the economy.

I wish he would get us cheep and domestic forms of reliable energy. In other words, "drill here, drill now". We will have a need for oil for some time now since green energy isn't even close to being ready. This will create jobs in many ways and help manufacturing make money with cheep energy.

We also need a new tax structure that takes the focus off of productivity and puts it on consumption. The private sector unions should love this one since it puts more profit in the companies hands to share. It will also help keep the jobs here instead of overseas.

Obama has built up this speech. Now lets see what he delivers. His future in politics is riding on it. If the Democratic Party tries to distance themselves from Obama after the speech we will know if it was successful or not. We need to start listening to what businesses and their owners say about the Obama jobs plan. If they like it all it will work. If it is a give and take then it will fail. Obama can't please everyone. If he pleases his "I want free stuff" constituents it will fail. If he gives us more of the same old stimulus that didn't work then we know he is crazy.

Hoffa: GOP ‘Trying to Take Food Out of the Mouth of Working People’

Jimmy Hoffa told MSNBC‘s Ed Schultz Tuesday that he’s not “backing down” on his “Let’s take these son of a bitches out” remark or his anti-Tea Party views.Watch the full segment below (Hoffa’s answer begins at the 12:10 mark).
The left-wing is coming unhinged and violent rhetoric is their first defence against losing power over the American people. Soon they will become more like their union brothers and sisters in Greece and destroy property and riot. It is the union way. The unions members have a problem with their union leadership. First off 43% of union members don't agree with it's leaders backing Democratic party candidates only. Those 43% of conservative union members are very unhappy with the way the unions have been lead.

Americans are also sick of hearing these greedy unions saying that if we don't give them what they demand then we are taking food out of their mouths. Don't they realize that we bailed them out with the stimulus money? Don't they realize that we pay their bills and pay more in taxes so they can make more money then us? The union greed will be the destruction of the unions. The union leaders are hell bent on destroying everything to get what they demand. People have lost all respect of the unions and what they have become. Maybe it is time to take those "sons of bitches out" before they take out our country.

There is a reason why only 13,000 people showed up to the union/Obama Labor Day fest. The unions begged it's members to show. The Detroit News made it well known that our first black President was coming to town and yet few showed up for this event. With the amount of union members and blacks that place should have been filled to the brim. But fewer people showed up to see the President then show up to see Palin talk. Now that tells you something. People are sick of listening to him talk. The union members stay home instead of showing support of their unions and president. I would expect to see that happen in say Texas. But not in Detroit City, home of "Obama money".

The unions will be flushed down the drain with the Democratic Party come 2012. Since the unions are just an arm of the Democratic Party and the failed Progressive movement. Good luck in the future. You turds are going to need it.

‘Let’s Take These Sons Of Bitches Out’: Teamsters Leader Hoffa Calls for War on Tea Party

Here’s Fox News on the speech by Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa:
The rhetoric coming from speakers at the event was already heated before Hoffa took the stage. Hoffa then declared there’s a “war on workers” and vowed that organized labor would “remember in November” which lawmakers were opposing the president’s agenda.
“We’ve got to keep an eye on the battle that we face — a war on workers. And you see it everywhere. It is the Tea Party,” he said. “And there’s only one way to beat and win that war — the one thing about working people is, we like a good fight.”
Hoffa called on workers to get involved in opposing Tea Party-aligned lawmakers next November.
“President Obama, this is your army, we are ready to march,” Hoffa said. “But everybody here’s got to vote. If we go back, and keep the eye on the prize, let’s take these sons of bitches out.”
This sounds like violent rhetoric to me. I will expect violence after this union/Obama rally of violent hate rhetoric. These people want us to be more like Greece and Europe riots and all. All that talk about "workers" you would think that the unions are the only workers in this country. The Tea Partiers are workers too. I've never seen so many narcasitic people in one place. I'm sure it will cost Detroit a fortune to clean up the mess these warmongers make. You do remember what they left every city they rallied in look like. Who in their right mind would let such people run this country when they treat the places they meet at like a third world garbage dump. Does anyone think they wouldn't do the same to our government if they had any control over it?

We the tax payers have done more then enough bailing out of unions. We don't have any money or credit to "build" anything. We don't have any more money to bail out the unions.

The unions are making a stance. They have declared war against those that don't stand with them and their demands. We all know what "war" means and what they mean by it. As they say "all is fair in love and war". Unions have a long history of violence and we should expect nothing less from them.

If you stand with the unions on the war with the Tea Party I'd like to know what you think? Is violence and vandalism to be expected from the unions? Did you go to the war rally in Detroit? What did you think of the Obama speech and the other speakers?

From the Tea Party patriots, what do you expect the unions to do in this war on the Tea Party? Are you afraid of the unions? Will this make you not go to rallies or will it do just the opposite? What are your planes to protect yourself from these warmongers? Do you think the Tea Party should stand against this call to war against them?

UPDATE:

CNN's John King failed to ask Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa about about his threatening "son of bitches" remark at a Labor Day rally attended by President Obama. The interview lasted just over six minutes and covered various topics from Obama's upcoming jobs speech to Mitt Romney. Yet, there was no time to ask Mr. Hoffa about this comment:

"President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let's take these son of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong," Hoffa added.

Obama Better Give One Heck Of A Speech

Obama has made us all wait to hear this jobs creating speech to congress till after his vacation. He has built anticipation and given us the feeling that he has got something big to tell us. Asking congress and the American people to stop what they're doing is a big deal and always has been a big deal. If Obama thinks that an empty motivational speech will get the country rolling again is even possible it will piss off everyone but the Obama zombies. We are getting tired of empty speeches with little content. If Obama thinks that Americans are going to buy spending tons more money on failed stimulus and adding even more to our debt is his great idea, he can just stay home and keep quizzing himself. We all know that it was our debt that has down graded our credit rating. Are we going to shoot for a B rating or recover our economy? At this point everything Obama has done to the economy has failed. The Tea Party called it and they have been right every time. They said it would fail and make the recovery last longer. It turns out they are right. The US economy has stalled,

A net total of zero jobs were added in the month of August, for which economic data was released Friday morning.

In addition, Friday’s report revealed, the number of hours worked by the average American has begun to decline.

And hourly earnings have dropped.

So even if Americans are employed, they are working less and making less.

Obama needs to change coarse fast. All the economic news that is coming out is bad news. Obama knew that the new EPA standards would do even more damage to our economy and he has change coarse on that. Now he needs to look at the rest of the regulations that are holding up economic growth. Maybe he needs to give permits to oil companies to restart drilling in the Gulf after he stopped it. He needs to give up the idea that "green energy" is the solution since those companies that produce that energy are going bankrupt even with the help of the government.

We also need a new tax structure that will make paying taxes easier and long term. A fair tax would help and we could fire the IRS. That would help lower the cost of doing business here in America even better since we will stop taxing productivity. Manufacturers will love it.

Balancing our budget will also help relieve some pressure that is holding up our economy. If we are on the right path people will invest in us again.

Throwing a bunch of money at public unions has done nothing for us in the long and short term. It has only made the burden on the private sector even bigger. We can't keep supporting the public unions when we are broke.

Since the rest of this country is broke I'd like to see Obama act like he feels our pain. Instead of running around like he has won the lottery he needs to take more conservative vacations. He's living it up on our dime while we are home trying to pay the bills and hold on to our jobs.

If Obama thinks that blaming everyone even his mother for the economy and the state of our country it wont work any more. Playing the victim isn't something a leader does. It's unbecoming at best. But we all know if there weren't victimes there wouldn't be liberalism. It is core to their ideology. That is why when we have liberal leaders we end up with even more victims, not fewer. Just look at the black population since Obama and the Democrats took over. The unemployment rate among blacks is at a 25 year high and raising fast. If there are a lot of unemployed liberals gain voters by trying to buy their vote. We know that empowering people works, just look at welfare reform in the 90's. Liberals said it would kill people... They were wrong then and they are wrong now. People do a much better job of taking care of themselves then the government does and welfare reform is proof. Liberals have no proof that their ideology works. But there is a lot of proof that it has failed ever time it's been tried.

This Labor Day weekend thank God you have a job. A job is a blessing. I know liberals don't believe that, but it's true. Work gives us purpose. We also need to pray for those that don't have work right now.

We Are Well On Our Way To Another Even Bigger Recession

AP File
Things sure aren't looking good for the President right now. He has done everything he wanted to our economy and country thanks to the Democratic Party majorities in both houses of congress. We have had for the first time since WWII no jobs created in a month. Everything is pointing to a second recession that will send the middle class and businesses into a major tailspin downward. It is obvious that the Democratic Parties fixes did a lot more harm then good.

As great leaders of this nation the Democratic Party are running around blaming everyone and everything under the sun. This is what all great leaders do, LOL. Instead of admitting nothing he did has worked he will keep blowing smoke up our butts and tell us we are on our way forward and out of this mess. Liberals can never admit they were wrong. They will double down and do even greater harm to our economy. They will spend money we don't have and tax those in this country that are working and creating jobs so they leave or just close shop.

We have seen what spending money we don't have does to our economy. Just look at the S&P downgrade because of our debt. There is also a big chance that we will have another housing bubble burst, as if our house values aren't low enough. You can thank Dodd and Frank for this one too. We are watching trickle down economics at work right now. The problem is broke is what is trickling down, not money. If we go into another recession this will destroy the economy of state and city government with bankruptcy. That will mean NO pensions for those public union government employees. Can you see the riots coming when that one happens.

The country better brace for an economic depression and pray it doesn't happen. We know what happens when Obama tries and create jobs. He ends up making things worse. The hurricane is coming and it's all from Obama's liberal hot air. Batten down the hatches and get ready. Don't listen to the left-wingers that mock rather then debate. They made fun of conservatives when we bought gold at $700 of lower. Gold is now heading to record highs and above. Let them laugh and mock and say it's all Bush's and the Tea Parties fault. Most Americans can see the reality of what liberal policies do to every economy it's been tried in.

I'd like to know where you think this economy is heading towards? So far the Tea Party has called it and is batting 1000. Obama just keep missing.

Obama better have the best speech of his life. As much as he has built this jobs speech up it better have some real content to it. Because Americans are realizing that Obama's words are shallow at best.

From the outset of the debt ceiling debate, the freshmen Tea Party class in Congress made one point clear: without substantial cuts in spending, the U.S. credit rating would be downgraded.

Sign the Petition>>

When Americans demanded that Congress pass the Cut, Cap, Balance Act to rein in the debt, President Obama and Senate Democrats refused to listen.

Even when credit agency Standard and Poor's warned that unless $4 trillion was cut from the budget there would be a downgrade, they wouldn't budge.

With the final debt ceiling deal falling dramatically short of both Tea Party and S&P expectations, the U.S. has officially lost its AAA credit rating, leaving us with only one thing to say to President Obama: "We told you so!"

President Obama just concluded his three-day, three-state campaign bus tour across battleground states where he desperately needs to win re-election. While White House Communication Director Dan Pfeiffer called it a "rural economic bus tour," a more accurate name would be the "One Job Saved or Created Tour."

Our unpopular president, who faces an all-time low approval rating of 39 percent, came off the road show looking particularly desperate to save his own job regardless of the cost to overburdened taxpayers.

Americans everywhere are struggling to make ends meet while the Spender In Chief is burning our hard-earned cash promoting the same failed economic policies.

A Secret Service Spokesman confirms that just two of the Obama campaign buses cost taxpayers $1.1 million each, which means that at least $2.2 million of your money was spent to save or create just one job. As ridiculous as this price tag seems, it is emblematic of the Obama administration's consistent track record of Keynesian fiscal malfeasance.

Thank You From C.L. Bryant
By: C.L. Bryant

Last week I asked that you help me complete the film project Runaway Slave, which reveals how big government policies have enslaved the Black community to a cycle of poverty and dependence.

As a black conservative and a Tea Partier, I am determined to take this film to Black America in the hopes that they too will choose to run away from the slavery of government oppression and toward the blessings of individual liberty.

Thanks to the generous contributions of patriots like you we are close to achieving that goal. My film team tells me that we are now just a few thousand dollars away from having the funds to complete Runaway Slave.

Please make a donation of $25, $50, $100 or more to help us make our goal right now. You can also watch the trailer by clicking here:

Obama Jobs Speech Flap 'Political Mischief' Gone Awry

As far as Green Bay’s NBC affiliate is concerned, the Green Bay Packers and pre-game festivities come first and President Barack Obama’s speech to a joint session of Congress comes second. It is obvious that the Obama admin. was trying to play games with the Republican Party by trying to have his "jobs" speech on the same day and time as the Republican debate. Americans have been hearing Obama giving speech after speech about jobs and the economy. After a while everyone realizes that all this guy does is talk and talk is cheep when that is all you do. Cain is right. I think Obama would have been embarrassed if the Republican debate got more listeners then his speech to Congress. How sad will it be if people just didn't watch another one of his jobs speeches?

People do care what Obama has to say. But they all know that it has been said before many many many times. In 8 years Clinton only gave 1 speech to a joint session of Congress. Bush only gave one. Obama has given two in just three short years. We are getting tired of Obama's shenanigans in the WH. Running around demanding everyone listen to him is not going to win him any support. All he is doing is playing his community organizing games and Americans are getting tired of it.

The WH has come out and said that unemployment will stay at or above 9% for 2012. Doing more of the same doesn't make him look dumb, it makes him look crazy. The 2012 election is the Republicans to lose. The country is listening to them more then the failed president.

What are your thoughts on this matter?

How Obama Is Trying To Change America

It's all in the regulations. Obama has made the job for the next president much harder thanks to his attacks on the private sector. Most of what Obama has done to the economy and our country doesn't go into effect until after 2012. We all know why that is.  It's time Obama takes his boot of the throat of the private sector jobs creators. If Obama would put these kind of regulations and taxes on imports it would slow imports down to a trickle. Well it is doing the same thing to this country. Is it any wonder why so many manufacturers are leaving this country for greener pastures? I'm starting to wonder who's side Obama is on. Tell me what you think?

27% of Dems Want New Candidate in 2012

A new poll reveals that 27 percent of Democrats would like to see a candidate other than President Obama run for office in 2012. Some are even saying that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton could be that candidate.

At this point in Obama's ratings and the long term outlook of our economy Obama doesn't have a chance to win in 2012. But if both Obama and Hillary run against each other it will insure that neither will be president in 2012. The way I look at it the only hope the Democratic Party has to win in 2012 is if Obama bows out and let's Hillary run. I think Hillary has a much better chance of winning. What are your thoughts on this?

I Can't Wait To Hear Obama's "New" Jobs Plan

I'm getting so excited to hear what Obama's has planned for our economy now. I know he said he was lasering in on jobs creation and the economy since he took office. But this time he means it. Since Obama is "the smartest president ever" I'm sure he will come up with something new. If Obama wants to do more spending that hasn't worked, which is what got our credit rating downgraded, he would be crazy to plan on doing more of the same. Since Rick Perry of Texas created 47% of all the jobs in America since this recession started he will do what Perry did to actually create jobs in his state. Only a smart man would do what we know works and give up what hasn't ever worked.

Now I know the Democrats are saying that Obama has created jobs even though the economy has lost millions of jobs since he took office. That is part of the crazy the Democrats partake in. You can't only count the jobs created and forget about the unintended consequences of millions of jobs lost after his Stimulus bills. But the lunatic left don't use reality as their bases for their ideology.

Obama's new economic advisor has admitted the obvious that raising taxes slows jobs growth. He is also for the Fair Tax. Now the question will be is he for the Fair Tax alone or does he want to double tax us. Knowing Obama, he will want both. But that would just be stupid and counter productive.

We will see if Obama is as smart as Perry with jobs growth. At this point all Obama has done is talk about the economy and lasering in on jobs creation. Going around saying that the economy is on the right path and doing better even though every economic marker says the opposite is just stupid talk. I'm sure Obama is a real smart man, you just can't tell by listening to him. I hope you all as excited as I am about hearing what Obama has to say about lasering in on jobs, again.

What do you think Obama should do to laser in on jobs this time around? Should he do more of the same like a crazy person would? Or should he do what Rick Perry did and change his economic direction from far left to far right? Is Obama smart even though he doesn't understand the economy and hasn't gotten us out of the recession? If Obama does more of the same and expects a different result does that make him dumb, ignorant or crazy? Are you as excited as I am?
